FINALLY! At long last. Someone willing to volunteer..

She looked at the fourth year Ravenclaw and smiled, introducing herself "Hi..I'm Beezus. You are?" She tilted her head to the side as she waited for her answer. So...they can start now, yes?

Well, Violet seemed able enough to do the Folding Charm so she can just give way. She wasn't too good with that though. Pfffttt.

"So..Violet will do the Folding? Okaaaayyyy! Let's get to work.." Nod. Nod. "And if you guys need some help. just......call?" Hehehehe.

Aaaaaaand a group activity.

"Any Hufflepuffles out there!" She shouted over the noise of practising groups.

Glenn still hadn't managed to fold the shirt. It had kinda... flopped around a bit though. Concentration and patience; that was what she needed. She stood around eyeing any other Hufflepuffs. Did anyone want to join her?

Louisa cleared her throat loudly, "Okay, guys! Sorry for all the confusion and the inconvenience. We've got our volunteers...thanks everyone who was willing to help." She turned to look at the helpful girl (Riverlynn) who she had not caught her name yet, "You said that you're not sure if you could do the spell before, right? I'll do it for you." she smiled at the girl and started rolling up her sleeves. "Beezus, you do the folding task with me. We need to get this going already."

She grabbed her wand and took a deep breath. "There goes nothing." And an encouraging smile toward her house mates.

Beezus was just listening to her fellow Ravenclaws volunteering. Really, she didn't mind who get to do the task. She wasn't sure she was appropriate for it either so she trusted the decision to their Prefect when suddenly..

Louisa was announcing that she do the Folding Charm. "Huuuh? Whaaa--?" She thought it was going to be Violet. "O-okay then," but their lovely Prefect has spoken and she didn't wan to argue so she just have to do her best.

Okay Beezus, calm down. Plic Vestimenta. Plic Vestimenta, that's the incantaion, she kept reminding herself.

Nodding to Louisa, she rolled up her sleeves, pivoted around and came face to face with a MESS. Yes, a very untidy mess. And there were clothes everywhere, that meant she needed to work fast.

Seeing as she needed to get her wand closer to the clothes, she knelt down and started tapping some shirts. "Plic Vestimenta." And magically, the shirt she tapped the end of her wand on had moved and was folding itself neatly.

So..one down. A whole lot more to go.

After hearing the encouraging words from the two Prefects , Daichi nodded his head "Okay~!" The broom that had fallen back on the floor lay beside his feet and the Slytherin looked at it. Okay, just concentrate. Think about what Lafay had told you before she got all mad at ya..for the chocolate... Concentrating on the spell in his mind, Daichi re-pointed his wand at the object.

"Liberum Arbitrium Broom!" He swished his wand and made a clockwise turn as he pointed down at the broom. He concentrated deeply because to be honest the fourth year had never been so good at performing magic. And now that eyes were on him and that little kid who was folding the clothes he was even more nervous. Trying to block out the thoughts that EVERYONE was looking, including the Professor he somehow managed to concentrate on the spell it self.

The first broom hovered in the air. Then, with a slow motion it began to sweep. Daichi was biting his lip as he tried to point his Phoenix feather wand near the bed where alot of dust lay. He wanted to yell in joy when the broom did what he wanted but held himself for he was afraid he would drop the broom again.

As the first broom began sweeping the floor clean from dust around the bed, Daichi dared and pointed his wand at the second broom. "Liberum Arbitrium Broom" The spell was actually quite easy now he had said it a few times. After he swished his wand and a clockwise turn this broom too came to live. The fourth year pointed to another section in the room when...

Daichi STARED. Simply STARED at the KID when he told him that he needed to pull himself together, or something. Seriously! this kid was a first year , of course he would have an EASY spell! Even Daichi could fold clothes he thought

But that he was being told on by a eleven year old didn't frustrate him as when the KID produced even more dust. Around the bed and that was just the place his first broom had almost finished sweeping!

"YAH! KID! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

He couldn't help it. Daichi was normally not the shouting type but now that his classmates eyes were on him. The golden stars in reach and the house points they would get if they won seemed to make him a slightly different person. Especially now he wanted to win!

In his frustration , the Slytherin of course dropped both brooms back on the floor as they layed motionless on the ground in the NEW DUST! He wanted to win! He wanted to show those Huffies that their triple victory last year was only once and that the Snakes would grab the cups back. And this was the beginning of that race.


"Liberum Arbitrium Broom!" He shouted at the first broom near the bed and with a new kind of fire in his eyes he watched as the broom did what he wanted. Grinning proudly, Daichi pointed to the second broom after the first began to sweep the dust away again and used the same spell on it.

GREAT. Beezus did seem kind of hesitant and all but she snapped out of it and went along. It was freaking good to be in a position where you could issue orders. Snicker.

Louisa headed for the broom, held her wand high and spoke "Liberum.." a perfect swish, "Arbitrium Broom.." and a circular motion, clockwise. The broom sprang to life at once. It flew above the floor at first before settling back down and twirling once... twice... before it started sweeping normally. Louisa's wand stayed focused on the broom, as well as the girl's eyes. The broom moved from the spot to another leaving a small pile of dust behind it.

"Well... we can do this gradually." Louisa murmured to herself eying the small pile of dust. "How ya holding up Beezus?" she called without looking at the girl. First priority was her broom.

KYAAAAA!

She can do this. They can do this. YEAP. And they'll be done in a jiffy and Professor Bellaire would give them gold stars. Oh, how she wished that would just happen.

Louisa was starting on her broom sweeping session, so she continued with folding the clothes. "Plic Vestimenta." And a tap at that yellow colored piece of cloth. She managed to fold two pieces now.. She stood up, carefully grabbed the two and placed it on a table. Hmmm. She was going to put the clothes in a neat pile because that was what her Aunt taught her. Put the clothes with the same colors together.

Then she returned to where the other pieces of cloth were, knelt down again and.. "Plic Vestimenta." and tap.. then she turned away, reverting her attention to another one as she waited for it to get folded. "Plic Vestimenta." Of course, she also heard Louisa asking how she was doing. The younger eaglette looked at the Prefect, smiled a bit and said, "I'm coping up." Then she grabbed the pieces of clothes that were already folded and added it on the pile with their corresponding color.

And did the same thing again. "Plic Vestimenta." Tap. Tap. Tap.

The broom continued to sweep, going on a circular motion most of the time and causing the dust to line as a circle around the clean area before the broom altered motions and piled the dust in a small pile. Then it moved to another area, circular motion and then piling the duct onto a small pile. Louisa caught up the pattern of this spell and made track of all the small dust piles the broom was leaving behind. Smiling subtly at Beezus she nodded, "Good." But she didn't dare chat more, her focus was important.

The Ravenclaw Prefect moved along the broom as it changed places and made sure not to step on any of the dust piles. She'd vanish those when the whole area was clean. Not so much left now. Her grip on the wand continued to be strong and determined, knowingly too. Louisa was smug within herself, she was indeed getting better at magic. Jason would be shocked later.

Beezus nodded silently at Louisa's direction. She didn't know if the Prefect was looking at her, because she was starting to get too preoccupied with magically folding the pieces of cloth now.And her neat pile with each corresponding color was getting higher, which meant that she had already run through quite a few.

Grabbing the already folded ones with care to not smudge it or anything, she added it on the pile. And returned to the clothes. "Plic Vestimenta..." And tap.

She couldn't hide the fact that she was getting tired too, so she stretched her hands a bit, and massaged her wrists. Now, back to work.. It seemed like her intent was more overwhelming that she had expected because she was doing the charm faster now.

"Plic Vestimenta!"

Until...only three pieces of clothes were left. A purple colored shirt, a red skirt, and a pink blouse. Beezus breathed deeply. "Louisaaaaaaa...I'm almost done!" she uttered out loud to the Prefect.

The broom was not stopping. In fact, Louisa noticed that it was now more determined and steady while it worked. The girl couldn't help but smile in satisfaction. Again, she was feeling this teaching thing paying off. And the fact that it was in Charms made it even more cheerful.

So, cheerfully, Louisa kept her focus and grip on the wand as the broom swept the floor leaving small piles all over the place. Once it hit the wall, though, Louisa murmured, "Finite," And it fell down lifeless. The girl went and grabbed the broom's handle. With her wand-holding hand she cast the spell again making sure to position the broom in a way it'll sweep those small piles of dust into one big pile. "Liberum Arbitrium Broom.." And she let go as the broom started its spree.

Louisa grinned when Beezus called out, "Me too!" The broom was sweeping after the piles and it continued dragging them together until there weren't any small dust piles that Louisa could see. "Finite," she silenced the broom before pointing at the pile of dust and, "Evanesco," she said loud and clear.

Poof! The dust was gone and the floor was clean.

Her eyes found Beezus and the other 'claws.

As blank as he can be, Xing simply stands there, not moving from the spot from where he cast the charm earlier. There he goes, spacing out again. He doesn't even realise that they have move on to another activity. Wand still in hand, the dark eyes are fixed on the piles of broom. Not even the sound of brooms falling on the floor snaps him out.

Me too! She heard Louisa say and that boosted her confidence and esteem that she hurriedly dashed to get that remaining three pieces of cloth from floor, uttered the incantation and tapped each. Seconds later, it was folding themselves and she couldn't help but grin widely.

MERLIN. THEY WERE ALMOST DONE.

And that was the truth..because all she needed to do now was to add each of the already folded piece of clothing to the pile. "Okay..purple shirt..here you go.." She muttered, adding it on the pile of the purple ones. "And errm..red skirt..." And add to the red pile of clothes. "And finally...pink bloooooooouuuuuse!" And that last one was carefully put before Beezus started flailing as she run off to where her fellow Ravenclaws where.

AND THEY WERE DONE.

"We did it!" Beezus exclaimed gaily and hugged their Prefect.

Nerida said Yay, you guys did great! Ravenclaw was represented marvelously! Nerida smiled at them, she wouldnt have done a better job then the two had just done! And, were not the last ones done! That was a good part because people were saying stuff about them being the last ones a while ago...

Aye Aye Aye. The next time she would be doing the volunteering of everyone else. Leaving teens and pre-teens to make decisions would always lead to confusion. BUt at least the snakes had gotten off the ground very quickly and seemed to be organised. She wasn't surprised though, it was her former house after all.

So that was Mr.Kinsley and Katharos for Slytherin. Very well done, very organised and they had house support. The others should take note.

For Hufflepuff house there was Miss Potter and Miss Wheatborn for the hufflepuff house...Miss Carter and Miss Castel for RavenClaw...and Gryffindor..

Why did Gryffindor not have a team yet? Time was ticking, she had the rest of her class to get on with, this activity was not to take the whole day.

"Miss Hollingbury and Miss Paulidine you're representing Gryffindor, get going."

She turned to the rest of the class.

"You're allowed to cheer on your team. After this activity is over you're allowed to peer up and continue practicing, but as this is ONE class, all eyes on the bedroom setting and your classmates representing your respective houses."

She returned her focus to the activity.

"Good Morning Professor" Says Suzanne as she enters the classroom, "I am so sorry sir, I lost my way to the class, Hope I haven't missed much"

More practicing! That was what West needed! But he put ALL HIS ATTENTION on his house team and decided that Theo needed a high five for one, and that big kid lol Daichi is a big kid well... he didn't completely suck.

"Yay! Go Slytherin!" And stuff. He fist pumped, cos that was what Wests did.

Oh and because his dad had taught him to be like... fair and stuff, "Go all you other houses too! Clean that... room." Errr. Yeah. A slightly less enthusiastic fist pump, but see how sportsmanlike he was? So very.

But. More importantly, "Go THEO YOU ARE AWESOME! AND GO.... errr.... OTHER SLYTHERIN!" YAaaay. Yaaaaay. He danced about like a monkey. To be encouraging.

LEAVE HIM ALOOOONE.

Theodore raised his hands in defeat and said, "Soooooorrryyyy, dude. Was a total accident." They had to win this, so maybe it would help if the contestants were actually nice to each other. Theo watched as he continued, and grinned as he finally got the broom to do it right.

He even WINKED at him. WOOP, Slytherins ruled.

Now, back to his magicking. Theodore looked to the bed, which wasn't made. He wasn't sure if the spell would make the bed, but even if it folded the sheets, it would look better.

"Plic Vestimenta!" Theodore said with force. He was getting MUCH more confident with this spell. The sheets took a while to respond, but eventually folded itself into a smallish square.

It looked odd, but tidy.

Finishing off, Theodore folded a few more loose socks and t-shirts on the floor using the spell, and that was his part done.

Theodore beeeeeeeeamed and scanned very CAREFULLY for anything else he could fold. Curtains? Anythiiiiiing.

What he needed was a levatating charm to lift some of the loosly folded clothes into the drawers. Or was he allowed to do that without using a wand? Theodore looked to Professor Bellaire blankly, then to the older Snakey boy.

It was HIM who needed to do a bit more dusting.

SLYTHERIN HAD DIS. And where was that bottle of water he'd ask for?

Theeeeeeeeeere was West. Theo stuck his thumbs up to his pal at the awesome comment. YES, he was rather awesome, wasn't he? Much more so than the other boy. Yeah.

Umm NO. Not in her class not on the first day of school, not on her watch. "Good morning? I'm afraid it won't be a good morning for you...Miss.." See no name tag because she was LATE for class."That will be ten points from Gryffindor house and rest assured you will be asked to leave the next time you turn up for my class this late...and straighten that tie of yours." She frowned then turned her attention back to the students participating in the activity.

"Don't forget about me," Jezzabelle said joining the group of lions. She was ready to go. Actually her whole body was pumping with adrenaline all because of the chance at a little competition and some house points. She was bouncing from left to right and left again.

Nigel needed more practice but she said they would practice after this activity. So all Nigel was going to do now was cheer on the Ravenclaw team of Beatrice and Louisa. "GO CLAWS". he said and now he could only watch to see if the Claws cleaned the room the fastest.

Clearly Slytherin had it in the bag, so there really wasn't any sense in doing anything else but cheer.

So, taking a deep breath, Cass then placed her hands at either side of her mouth and cheered as enthusiastically as she could "GO SLYTHERIN!!!"

Gryffindor? Gryffindor? what no one from Gryffindor? hmm....what were they doing all this while? It's not that difficult to fold cloths and broom a room. Well that rhymed he thought laughing slightly. He could volunteer himself but professor seemed to be in a hurry. Well that was his excuse for not participating in. He wasn't too proud of himself for not volunteering. He felt sad but he could still cheer them, right?

Come on Kurumi and....and what's her first name....? well he didn't know half of their names yet. Anyway he had to cheer for them. He could call her last name anyway. He looked at them standing in the group and shouter "Come on Kurumi and Paulidine! We could win this!" he said excited feeling that sounded odd for some reason.

Sooooo, the Hufflepuff already half way there. With Alyssa and Minerva team up he was pretty sure that they'd win this game. He hopes so. Beside they need the points if they want to bring the house cap to their possession.

Messer heard the Professor said there'll be more practicing after this game. Yay! He can't wait to learn more spell but for now he need to cheer his house. "GO HUFFLEPUFF..!! You're doing great girls."

Clapping her hands, Thea joined in the cheering.

She recognised Kurumi, and wasn't very suprised she'd be taking part.. Yawn.
However, she wasn't a total meanie and began cheering again.

She didn't recognise the other girl though.. but the cheering was fun.

"Come on Snakes!" Zhenya said, not too loud. They were the greatest house, yes? She was clapping and jumping around hoping they would win. They had lost everything last year and it was time for them to take back what was rightfully theirs! Winning stuff.

"Come on Slytherin! We can do it! Come on!"
