If you know the password, you can make your way through a portal in the stone wall of the dungeon and walk into the Slytherin common room:
The ceiling is low and the walls are made of stone, and even though they seem dank and cold, the room is a very comfortable temperature. There are greenish lamps by black leather couches and chairs, with skulls all around. Some of the chairs had been transfigured into Chaise Lounges by previous seventh years, and never turned back. There are no windows as the common room is located under the lake and a fire burning green in the fireplace, before the rug covered floor. The Slytherin emblem is everywhere, as pride is one of this house's qualities.
This is where Slytherin students are allowed to unwind, study and chat with one another. There is a straircase straight ahead that leads to a room students may use as a quiet place to study, and ask prefects and high scoring students questions. To the left, a staircase that goes down to the Boys Dorm, and to the right a staircase that leads to the Girls Dorms. Beside each staircase is self inking quill and parchment with the words Attendo Thea Vipera on it.
On the side of the fireplace is a Notice Board for class and homework announcements, as well as general announcements and signup sheet with the words 20 minutes max on it, for those wanting to sit on the couch and stare at the fire all emo like. On one of the coffee tables you see a copy of the Slytherin Scroll, a newsletter only for Slytherin Students.
A box is on an end table, where you may sign up for or to be a Serpent Sidekick, and a podium with a copy of Hogwarts a History, which is where you will learn that even though the whole dungeon had once been flooded, nothing was waterlogged or permanently damaged.

Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, Evelyn's only response to the girl before Marie started threatening her even more was raising an eyebrow. And perhaps... "I did ask nicely." Confusion and annoyance was written all of her face! Really, she did ask nicely.
Standing quietly and staring at the young girl and her boyfriend (kinda young to be together, weren't they?), she did rather hope the girl would just move. Marie was in her angry 'I will punch you' mood, and Evelyn really didn't want to have to explain stuff to Lafay already on the first night back, trying to talk them out of being punished.

Mmmph. Who did that?
Glancing behind, she looked around, seeing that Destiny was doing the same before turning her attention back to HER SEAT-
...Aww, yes. Looking back to Destiny, Evelyn narrowed her eyes somewhat as she chuckled quietly. That was good. That was really good.

Although she was becoming more scared by the second (Would the girl really use her wand?) Aurora forced herself to look the older snake in the eye. Aurora scowled all the more, "Then you need to learn what's nice and what's self indulgent arrogance." Oh yes, her parents fights had helped her with her wording in these situations. Deciding it was probably best to get out as soon as possible she stood up and, glancing one last time from Marie to Evelyn, turned to stalk off an sit elsewhere, muttering to herself, just audibly. "I can't believe the Head Girl is more childish than me." Her back prickled as if she could feel the girls watching her, she didn't know if they'd even bothered to glance in her direction but she felt like their eyes were burning holes into her.
Marie looked from the girl to Evelyn and then back to the girl. If that kid knew Evelyn at all she would have known that was Ev being nice.
What? The brat didn't know why she should be respectful? "Listen here kid..." Yes, Marie just called her a kid. "...You will do yourself some good once you learn how to respect your elders..." That's right, Marie and Evelyn were her elders. Maybe only by four years but they were still older than her. "...If you can't do that then I suggest you watch your back at all times." Like now.
This kid was really wanting to get hurt wasn't she. Did she really think she was going to get away with talking to the Head Girl that way?
Watching the brat finally get out of Evelyn's seat she did NOT miss what the little snot said. Pointing her wand at the girls feet she cast a silent trip jinx. Maybe she would fall, hit her head and learn that it's not worth it to run her mouth to the She-Snakes.
Yeah, don't mess with Marie Salazar or her friends... unless you are prepared to feel her wrath. And really, the girl should consider herself lucky she wasn't on the receiving end of a Marie punch.
Lysandra was full and very tired, but contempt. Her headache was gone and her bad mood, due to her parents, was completely swiped from her thoughts. Now all she wanted to do was go to her dorm and go to sleep. She entered the Slytherin common room and a small smile plastered onto her face. She was so glad to be back here. The common room always astonished her every time she came through the portrait concealing the magnificent room. She saw that some others already came here and some she saw at the feast, some not.
Even though she was dead-beat tired, she took some time to look at the comforting room. The entire thing was made of stone and even though others would think it was uncomfortable, the Slytherins thought the opposite. The room always had a nice temperature. The fireplace burned a green flame, which was Lysandra's favorite part about the common room, and some couches sit beside it. She then heard a commotion concerning two girls. One clearly older than the other.
Aurora had been walking away, She was leaving! And one of them had tripped her! She'd fallen to her hands and knees and now she was really angry, she stood up quickly and whirled around to stare at the older two, she was going to open her mouth again when her brain decided she'd done enough and made her close it. She gritted her teeth and turned her back again, producing her trademark green and silver ribbons and tying up her long red hair. She was going to have to do some serious scheming. Not that it was directly related to the incident at all, just that when she angry she always came up with the best ideas. And who knows, maybe if they got in the way they might hurt themselves...
She assumed Mordred was following her, but it didn't really matter if he didn't, she was going to get some planning done with or without help.
Destiny found what she had done even more amusing than the things Evelyn and Marie were doing to that girl. It didn't help that they were all looking around for the person who boo'ed. Although, she was pretty sure Evelyn knew it was she who did it.
Having finished off the chocolate frog in her mouth, Destiny had reached into her bag once more and pulled out another when she felt a nudge, almost making her drop the whole bag and the one in her hand.
The horror!
Frowning at the thought of almost losing all her chocolate, Destiny turned to the nudger.. only to have to look down at the girl. Merlin, the newbies were so tiny. "Oh, well, see. We are seventh years, so we get to claim our seats. So, that girl over there, the one sitting, stole the Head Girl's seat and we were just getting it back." Although.. Destiny wasn't a part of that 'we'. No, she was just a spectator.
"Here have a chocolate frog." she said, and holding out the bag for the girl to stick her hand in, Destiny watched as the seat thief walked off.
She didn't even feel like sitting on the sofas anymore..
A feeling of regret washed over Melania as she nudged the girl only to find her frowning at her. She wanted to apologize, but the words never made it out of her mouth.
She listened and raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Remind me not to cross any seventh years... Or anyone older for that matter." she said quietly and immediately wanted to take it back.
"Don't come off weak now." she thought.
She then smiled at the older girl, "Oh, thanks." She stuck her hand in the bag and pulled out a chocolate frog. "Yum," she said as she proceeded to take a bite.

Hmm, and Miss Stubborn needed to learn that she had no patience for this type of stuff, not to mention that this was HER seat and only SHE could sit in it. However, Evelyn held her tongue, and just glared at the girl instead.
It wasn't until the girl finally got up did a small smile play on her lips. Normally she would have said 'Thank You' but the girl made her mad. She was polite before, but now. Yet, see? Now that wasn't so hard was it? Miss Stubborn should take her boyfriend with her too, otherwise it would be quite awkward to sit in that seat. Really, it would. Ignoring what was said about being childish, since she SOOOOO wasn't, Evelyn took a step forward to sit down, but Marie's movements had her hesitating.
She saw the wand being pointed. It was kinda hard to miss. Though she was rather late in stopping whatever spell that would be cast. "We got the seat Marie." she muttered, flopping down and making herself comfortable in HER seat. Oh, the girl tripped. "I don't want a detention too."
This was going to be a detention free year. That didn't stop her from laughing quietly at the sight of the girl falling over and fuming before walking away. Again. Merlin, her face was as red as her hair!

After the feast, Nora was happy to finally go to the common room and see it and -

It looked... depressing. Yes, yes, silver and green could look pretty, but still... the common room looked depressing. She didn't know why, but she had this feeling that the dormitories might look as depressing as this room. Buuut she had to get rid of all those thoughts, so she walked over to the nearest sofa and sat down.

Aurora had moved to sit elsewhere when she noticed a red spot on her hand, she looked closer and saw it was blood... He mouth was bleeding. That idiot, self centered, arrogant, evil, cruel, horrible seventh year had tripped her up and now she was bleeding! She'd obviously bit her lip as she fell but it was quite heavy. She held the sleeve of her robes to her mouth and stood up, shooting one last glare at the older girls before sweeping out of the common room to climb to the third floor. Let's see what this new healer's like.
Lai? That was a first. But she was happy to be called that. Lorelai smiled and nodded. "Sure. Its different and kinda suits my personality. I think" she replied. She thought? OF COURSE IT SUITED HER PERSONALITY. She was manipulative after all. Blink. She was gonna rule the universe. Not if Lori got there first. That was her all time ambition. And when she was the ruler, everything would be completely different. But at least they had something in common. "Hmm, we shall have to see who gets to it first" she replied. The competition was on. Even that Miss Vanderwalked HATED competition. But it'd be fun to see what would happen. The girl, who she now knew as Selena seemed like someone she'd get along with. Provided they didn't get in each other's way, of course.
Selena beamed. She had gotten something right while she was here. Awesomeness. "Okay! Then you can call me Seeellllll, that's one syllable," Selena said. But depending on how you were addressing her it could really be like.... a million. WAIT. What?! The girl wanted to take over the world too? This was horrible. "Bring it, sweetie," Selena said, smirking. Because she was so going to take over first. She already had a plan. "When you realize it's the era of the Crazytastic besties, you shall know, I won," Selena said simply before Kent squirmed again.
Selena's demeanor quickly changed and she giggled, Kent's fur was a bit tickly... "Oooh. Kent wants to say hiiii," she said, holding the purple pygmy puff up for Laaaaiiii to see.

Selena said, holding up five fingers. "I was here for my first to third year, IT took me out for my fourth but I'm back here forever and ever." There. That sounded about right.

Ariana Walked into the Slytherin Common room for the First time & was amazed by just how amazing it really was. But she was Tired & Heading up to see her room, her bed &her owl who she missed very much

Not that she'd forget Sel's name anyway because she wouldn't. She couldn't No way. That would just be against all sense of normality. That and she was someone not even Lori would forget in a hurry.

"Hello there!" a small witch greeted a girl she had yet to introduce herself to as she entered the common room. The girl seemed a bit down, or she could have just been tired from the long day.
"You look kind of down..." Eris added frankly like the child she was, but sat down on the same sofa with a kick of her legs, tucking a lock of dark hair behind her ear as the tomboy spoke.

Marie laughed as she watched the girl fall to her knees. Too bad she didn't hit her head though. Now that would have really been funny.
Really? Did she think that little look of hers was going to scare Marie? Not in the least. It just made her laugh even more. "You might want to watch where you walk, you never know what will get in the way of those big feet of yours."
Finally plopping down in HER chair that no one had sat in Marie rolled her eyes at Evelyn. "Oh please, we're not going to get detention just for making the little brat move." It wasn't as if the kid knew Marie was the one that tripped her since it had been a non-verbal spell. For all anyone knew the kid was just clumsy.
Looking back over at the kid again she giggled some more. Aww, the poor baby had a little blood on her lip. Maybe Marie should fix that for her. Yeah right. Let her run off to see the healer. Then they wouldn't have to worry about her here in the common getting in their way.
Turning her attention to Destiny who seemed to be just stuffing her face with chocolate Marie threw a piece of wadded up parchment at her. "Hey, you just gonna stand there all night?" She needed to come sit down and give Marie a chocolate frog.

Sarah very nearly blushed. Um... oops? "I have absolutely nothing against gothic, or whatever," she rushed to correct herself, "It's just that I'm used to brighter colors. But you're right, the green is really cool..."

Just then she heard her name being called. She turned and saw Raven. Smiling she said, "Hey Raven!" She laughed, "I got.. lost. I followed a fifth year here." Although embarrassing, Melania still found it amusing.
"I don't know if you've met them yet, but this is Sarah. First year also." she said pointing at one of the girls. She moved her hand to the other girl next to her. "And this is Lysandra. A second year."
Raven seemed interesting to heard that. "You got lost? Where? And how can you got lost?" She noticed two girls whom Lana introduced to her.
"Its a pleasure to meet you all." She smiled and shook both of their hands. "Raven Charlotte."

Kimalia walked into the good old common room. The fire blazing from the fireplace made the room feel extra warm. She already saw plenty of people already comfortable in there, Hopefully no one will call me out on losing house points. If anyone should, what would she do? She hoped never to find out. Trying to blend in she went to take a seat only to nearly collide with someone.

Melania laughed. "Don't worry Sarah, I just thought this was normal. I guess my mum loves the gothic feel."
Melania started to laugh again as Raven asked how she got lost. "Well, when we left the feast, I was just fascinated by everything. I guess I got.. distracted. Everything is just so lovely here," she chuckled. "I lost the group and just waited around for someone who looked like they knew where they were going. I probably creeped them out following them."

Sarah walked into the common room, feeling comfortably full, and happy due to meeting all her friends made previously and meeting some new people. The Slytherin common room looked very comfortable. Maybe a bit dark and creepy, but comfortable nonetheless.
She searched about for her few Slytherin friends, until she found two of them.
"Lana! Lysandra!" she walked up to them, smiling.
She wondered if you got to choose you won dorms...
