Hecate seemed in somewhat a better mood. She had a few bags on one side of the room and she was looking at an old photograph. A very young Hecate Lafay in emerald and silver, on a broom wielding a beaters bat and a handsome young man, on a broom beside her guarding the goal hoops. She was twirling the bat above her head, cheering, and the boy was pumping his fist in the air.
It was her first championship win. Third Year.
She tucked the photo in her desk, opened the classroom, and waited for her students to file in.
ooc: This class will stay open for at least 72 hours (probably more.) Also thanks to Antarctica! for taking the picture of the Potions Classroom for me at the WWoHP, and to Ameh for makin it into a pretty graphic!

"I took this over Christmas break." She said showing it to everyone, "Sorry Greingoth..." but she was smirking... "Class Dismissed."

...take pictures of classmates? Something fun and exciting? Hmm. It occurred to Sierra that she really didn't do many 'fun and exciting' things with other people. Outside of Quidditch, she really kept to herself. Quidditch--that's it! She'd take some pictures of the team out on the pitch. Developing pictures sounded fun, though. Sierra liked the thought of watching something come to life.
Noticing Lafay retrieving some film and an already-brewed potion, she turned her full attention to the professor. She was fascinated by the process, and she'd even allowed herself to get...maybe...a little excited by the opportunity. She wasn't an excitable child, though, so she settled for a small smile at the thought of actually using her potion.
Ohh, Lafay was developing a photograph! ...one she'd taken over Christmas break? ...but wait. Wasn't Lafay... Sierra's eyes quickly flickered to the photo in her professors hands. It was...oh, my dear Merlin! Her eyes then flashed around the room, daring anyone in the vicinity to laugh or make some kind of idiotic comment. She'd hex them to next Saturday and back if they dared to! "It's cool," she told Lafay, ...and it was. Her hair actually looked pretty flattering that day, and it was a rare moment when Sierra was skilled enough to get her hair styled properly.
She smirked as she remembered the moment. She'd been mocking somebody. She passed a small smile to Lafay then busied herself with packing her bag.

Nessie wrote down the assignment before getting up.She quickly packed up her stuff before walking towards the door.
"Good-bye Professor." She muttered quietly passing her desk.

Sky quickly jotted down the next instructions, stifling her laughter at the picture Professor Lafay developed. It was amusing. Sky wondered where she could to get an interesting picture as she walked up to get a camera. Once she had gotten a camera, she packed up her stuff, said a quick but polite "Goodbye, professor," and left the room.

Listening carefully as Professor Lafay gave the instructions, Macy blinked a few times, bewildered. Did Lafay really just tell them to go out and play? As in go enjoy themselves? Or perhaps she was just instucting them to take some of the most hysterical pictures of other people possible... probobly the later. She couldn't imagine Lafay ever being interested in their social well-being.
Snickering slightly as Lafay held up a rather hysterical picture of one of the underclassmen, Macy scribbled down the assignment in her journal before stuffing it back into her bag.
Pulling out her wand one final time, Macy performed a final Scourgify, to clean up her surrounding area before gathering her things and grabbing a camera from the front. "Thank you Professor, the fifth year added on her way out with a small smile and a grin. SHOWTIME, baby!
She then went to her own cauldron. "The last step is simple. By now your potion should be a deep burgundy colour. Hold your wand pointing in the center of the Cauldron and you will draw a spiral with it in an upward motion. The incantation is Agitatem." She raised her hand. "Immediately after that you have a matter of seconds. Cast the Glacius spell to put out the flame and cool the cauldron as quickly as you can. The potion will continue to move on it's own."
She pointed her wand and performed the Agitatem spell, then the Glacious in almost one fluid motion. "Now you all."
Holding her wand pointing in the middle of her cauldron, Aiden makes a spiral motion at the same time she pulls the wand further and further away from the cauldron. "Agitatem," she says the incantation clearly beofre quickly pointing the wand to the fire underneath the cauldron. "Glacius," she mutters, putting out the fire.

Aiden takes notes of the steps of developing the moving pictures before she packs her bag. Making her way to the door, she nods politely to the Potion Mistress. "Thank you for the lesson, professor," she says before leaving the classroom.

Penny walked up to the front of class and got a camera from the bag... she already had a few ideas which would make great pictures for her personal diary.. "Thanks for another great lesson professor", said Penny as she made her way back to her desk, to clean up her utensils and leave class.
Selina had been feeling particularly giddy since she had pulled the stinger out of her arm. Everything was so vibrant and had such color. Perhaps she had misjudged potions. It was not a dark, death hole of despair! No! It was like Rosh Hashanah everywhere in this room. It was a happy place and Lafay was the timelord of all of this cheer!
So after she wrote down her notes and hummed to herself, terribly out of tune mind you, she got up and went to the front of the room to collect a camera. She hugged Lafay and said sweetly, "You. Are. A. Beautiful. Person!" Then she skipped out of the classroom back to the common room. Whatever was in those stingers sure was making the walls all funny looking.

...Check he mused looking at the moving potion in his cauldron which was a relief as always since he sometimes did doubt himself despite his ability in the class. Listening to the last instructions, Gideon held his wand pointed at the center of the cauldron as directed, drawing a spiral with it in an upward motion, careful to repeat the gesture as close to the professor's actions as possible as he said the incantation.
"Agitatem..." he cast as he did the wand spiral before putting out the flames with a quick "Glacius." Gideon wasn't about to hesitate, having been quite drilled into the thought that when one says quickly do something with a potion, it was imperative.
With the final steps complete, Gideon was left to listen to Lafay as she closed the lesson with what was expected of them all for the homework part of the lesson. The fourth year picking his quill back up and taking notes on the proceedure of the film processing and assignment, careful to pay close attention to details. As class was dismissed, he cleaned up his workstation and gathered his belongings, including the wizarding camera.
This shall be fun!
"Um...good bye professor," Gideon said taken by surprise by his friend's actions. He moved and picked up his bag before leaving the potions classroom to catch up with Selina, the girl acting all odd what with hugging Lafay and all.

Alyssa quickly wrote down the instructions that Professor Lafay had told them regarding their homework assignment. Then she went forward and picked up one of the cameras from the bag. She took a peak at her cauldron one last time, then packed up her things. On her way out of the classroom, she approached the Professor and said,"Thank you, Professor Lafay for another interesting lesson. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to see what the pictures I've taken will look like." Then with a smile, Alyssa made her way out the door and ran to catch up with Penny.

Finishing off her notes, Kourtney looked up to observe the professor develop the picture and then show it to the class. Cool! The picture was now moving and she could see one of the girls in the class waving her arms around.
Making note of the homework assignment, she packed her bag, retrieved a camera, and excitedly walked from the classroom. "Goodbye Professor!" She called before exiting. Now...where could she go to find a good picture? There had to be plenty of opportunities around Hogwarts, especially in the month's time that she had for the assignment.

WHY?!?! Why did these kids want to hug her!!! The girl was lucky she was too shocked to react right away or she would have cursed her into next week!
Merlin... "Yeah Yeah... goodbye, all of you." She said and when the last of the students was out, she closed and locked the door.
