As you pass by the Greenhouses you come across an area with high stone walls, and through the arch you will find the Student Garden.
Over the summer holidays Professor Bentley has been working hard to reinvigorate the Student Garden. Come and take a stroll down the winding path. As you go around the loop you will notice a variety of new plants, both magical and mundane, but be careful! You never know what to expect.
This Garden is designated for student use, so feel free to come down and practice your gardening skills. Remember to use your protective gear! if you forgot to bring them with you, then there are spares you may borrow from the garden shed along with any gardening equipment you may need.
There are a number of areas of loose soil where students may wish to plant their own favourite plants. Just be sure you return and tend to them regularly, and be sure you don't let the iris's die otherwise Professor Bentley will not be impressed- they are her favourite after all. | |

*Matty shrugged but truth was he couldn't wait for them to be over with. They would never say it but his uncle and aunt really wanted Matty to do very well on his O.W.L's and finals. So that added pressure. But he would just act like it wasn't a big deal, like now.*
"It's okay, doing two finals and two O.W.L's a day can start to become... boring. Thank you again for helping me study for potions. Other than my aunt no one has done to well in that class... I do think I'd do better if your head of house stopped watching me the whole class."

Looking up at him with a raised eyebrow Marie had to laugh a little. "I don't know how you find them boring. I find them rather stressful myself." Then again, Marie did have a bit of test anxiety that always seemed to get the best of her.
Ahh, study sessions. Now those were fun. "You're welcome. I'll help you study anytime you want me to." She liked knowing that it was because of her that he was finally understanding potions, not to mention she loved the fun incentives she gave him for learning things. O__O
Lafay was watching him? "Maybe she's just watching to make sure you are doing everything correctly." Marie knew that if she was in class she too would be watching him... although her reasoning would be different than that of Lafay... right?

*O.W.L's were more than stressful, they made it hard for him to sleep sometimes. Did he study that part in troll history? Did that spell need to be said slower? But with potions... Marie would be why he liked potions now. For his study time with Marie mostly. He would never tell her but he had gotten pretty good at potions, almost better than her. But he loved spending time with her so he would never tell her that he didn't need help anymore.*
"If that's why she keeps watching me then lets hope that the rest of the class is doing great. If not then there is no way they will pass O.W.L's or finals."

Or was it just that she thought he needed that much attention because he was so bad at the subject. If that was the case then that meant Marie was doing a horrible job at tutoring him. Maybe he needed a better tutor. "Maybe you should find someone other than me to help you with potions. You know someone who can teach you better than I can, that way Lafay won't have to pay so much attention to you." Maybe Marie wasn't as good at the subject as she thought she was.

Turning so she was facing him she stood there in his arms. Seeing that no one was around them she stood on her toes and gave him a kiss. One that lingered for just a bit. They could work their way around the garden stopping to smell the flowers... or snog...

"It better only be me you're snogging mister." Giving him a playful jab in the ribs she giggled as she pictured him studying with some nerd. She was pretty sure he wouldn't have near the fun he had with her when they studied.
Grabbing his hand and lacing their fingers together she started to walk further into the garden with him. "Have you talked to your uncle about this summer yet? He is going to let you go to Austria with me right?" As much as she hated for the term to end, because that meant it was only that much closer to her graduating, she couldn't wait until the summer. Spending two whole weeks on a beach in Austria with Matty was going to be awesome. They were going to have the best time ever.

He rolled to his side and reached over to pluck a blade of grass out of her hair. The feel of it was soft. He stared at it for a while before he looked away. "Where did you learn to do that?" he asked, as he felt his ears heating up again.
