As you pass by the Greenhouses you come across an area with high stone walls, and through the arch you will find the Student Garden.
Over the summer holidays Professor Bentley has been working hard to reinvigorate the Student Garden. Come and take a stroll down the winding path. As you go around the loop you will notice a variety of new plants, both magical and mundane, but be careful! You never know what to expect.
This Garden is designated for student use, so feel free to come down and practice your gardening skills. Remember to use your protective gear! if you forgot to bring them with you, then there are spares you may borrow from the garden shed along with any gardening equipment you may need.
There are a number of areas of loose soil where students may wish to plant their own favourite plants. Just be sure you return and tend to them regularly, and be sure you don't let the iris's die otherwise Professor Bentley will not be impressed- they are her favourite after all.
" Well, it is good that you are rested now "William told Zara." Now the Jitterbug is a muggle balllroom dance from the 1940's William explained to Zara." The steps are a box step, than a rock step, the ladies start on the left foot, men on their right foot" William explained the ffet part of the dance. " I hold your arms and you hold mine, your left hand out holding mine and your right hand holding mine at shoulder length" William smiled. Are you ready to start?' William asked Zara.
Zara nodded slowly. Well, she got it I guess. Box step. Start on the left foot. Hold partner's arms; left hand out, right hand at shoulder length. She got William's hands as instructed. "Like this?" She asked.
Jade walked into the garden hoping it would be somewhat quiet. Admiring plants as she wondered down the path. The scent of flowers was over powering in a wonderful way! She continued to walk until she saw a spot that looked lovely for sitting. So she did!
Crossing her legs, she looked around "this is so... so..." but she couldn't describe it. So she just sat there, lost in the plants!
Neptune eyed the first year, then smiled. Sheeeeeee liked to get lost in the garden, too. Good little first year.

One of his regrets? Finlay shook his head as he led her down the garden, away from the other students. The students that would be nosy, and overhear, and he didn't want them to hear their conversation. It was private, between him and Neptune. "I couldn't ever regret you Tune..." He admitted slowly with a soft smile, as he looked at her. "I don't regret kissing you..." He couldn't. She was his best friend. "I'll never regret it."

Gwen felt really tired after the flying lesson and decided to take a break. She was carrying a book with her, but that was just so as to look like she was tired after days of studying, and not just after one flying lesson where she nearly fell off the broom. Just when thinking of it, she started rolling her eyes and realizing it would have been a better idea to start practicing flying (rather than wandering around the castle). If you start something, you have to make it right, she told herself. But she was just not in the mood for it…

"I wanted to meet the new herbology professor."

Caroline laughed, if that's what he wanted to call it. To her it was more like she wanted to make sure that she was going to be safe this term and not get anything bitten off this term. Seriously she hated, herbology.
Now DADA was different story. She loved that subject, the homework or whatever you wanted to call it. She was so sore from Dancing, running, and Kyle teaching her how to swim. "Yeah, I've done the dancing and running. I'm learning how to swim so I can start that soon." She paused it was kind of embarrassing that she was sixteen years old and didn't know how to swim.

" You are a great dancer" Wiliam said to Zara.William and Zara used the box step, the rock back and forth steps, the holding of arms was very good and then William twirled Zara and they did it again and William twirled her again." Violet was busy tying her floral apron and rather eagerly. When she had finished her small task she eagerly walked over to a small patch of earth with some supplies in her hands. Those supplies being gardening supplies, a new hobby she picked up on over the summer because of her Grandmother Isabelle. Violet had in her hands some flower seeds packages, a small shovel, a watering can and her gardening gloves. She got on her knees and fixed her hair and then put on her gloves. After she had done so she eagerly clapped her hands and then picked up her shovel.
Violet then began to dig a few holes, then placed the shovel back down next to her. She then opened the package of seeds for roses, violets, lilies, and sweet peas. In each of the holes she put the different flower seeds. Violet then picked up her shovel and filled all of the holes, giving them all a light pat after they were filled. Then she picked up her little light purple watering can and poured the water over the freshly planted seeds. She placed the can next to her and then she clapped happily and a light squeal escaped her lips. Violet was very happy and proud of herself for her new accomplishment. Then before she knew it Violet's violet eyes were locked onto her seeds buried beneath the soil expecting them to sprout almost instantly. Who knew how long she was like that. A minute? Two minutes? 10 minutes? 30? An hour?

Before the time of snow should arrive, Josh wanted to spend as much time outside as he could so he was out evaluating every opportunity he had for it. And this time he was with his beloved, he didn't know how they made it to the student garden but who cared....he could walk around anywhere with her like forever. ''I bet you can't grab the first apple we see before i do'' he said playfully while taking slow steps with his his cool and confident demeanor inviting the she-snake to a challenge. Apple Hunting!
But now all they needed was an apple tree or more. Were there any apple trees in this garden hmmmm? Turning around in his track, he eyed his whereabouts to see a fruit tree however when he was turned back to the path, the Gryffindor found himself face to face with two Ravenclaw birdies: The BigHead Boy and...wait...was not that the girl who hexed him and ran away? Wow...perfect couple was here.
''Well...well...well...'' he said stopping in their tracks giving them an once over as his expression turned into a cheeky one. ''I didn't know it was the Cowards' Day in the Student Garden. Sorry, i'll be leaving now.''

Regardless of what the weather was like at the moment, Evelyn had pretty much completely ignored it and was focused mostly on Josh the entire time during their walk. Well, her attention would move over to the occasional bird, flower, or firstie that ran by, but nonetheless, it was all Josh today.
"You're on." she smiled, looking up to him before the trees around them. Wait, did they even have apple trees here? Trying to remember if she'd seen any before, Evelyn moved a bit closer to her boyfriend, only to glance at him once he started speaking. What, did he find an apple tree already?
Or...not. He found something better.
It took a moment for her to realize it, but that was Neptune Bott; the main cause of that bruise that Josh had on his chest last term. Finn hung around the Bott girl? Meh. She didn't know that. Hmph. "Why should we leave?" she muttered mostly to Josh. "Shouldn't they being running off someplace else?"

She'd have happily continued on through the garden with her pal Finny, but ... someone let the local idiot out of its cage.
Neptune let go of Finny and casually let her hands hang at her sides. "You'll have to do better than that if you aim to insult, Gryffindor." She smiled pleasantly between Josh and Evelyn. Nooooot bothered.
And for once, not in the least bit afraid. Neptune was afraid of her shadow, but something about JOSH made her bold and ever so slightly violent. La la la, "Hello, Evelyn."

Couldn't the dude get over to already. And then he tried to insult him. And Neptune. That wasn't on with Finlay. Not at all. Neptune had gone through enough recently. She didn't need stupid little boys insulting her.
