Not able to help eavesdropping, Ivory craned her neck just the tiniest bit to listen. He'd gone to the Quidditch World cup? How awesome! Most definitely beat her summer by a mile. Scratch that by thousands of miles.
And he'd gotten her a gift. Resisting the urge to let slip an "aww," Ivory looked purposefully away. Like to the Staff table...perhaps she should go make pleasantries soon.
Joy. The sarcasm in that one word was impressive. Grinning, she gave a nod. He was preaching to the choir. It was the one thing she was worried about for this term.
Her face lighting up in interest, she cradled her chin in her hand still maybe sort of watching the pair out of the corner of her eye. Did Ellie like the gift? Hmm? "Merlin's Acadamy of Magic? Oh, I've heard of that place." A few of the graduating students from the previous year had been transfers from there come to think of it in their fourth year as well. Was it a coincidence? Who knew. "Why'd you transfer?" she asked attentively. Maybe there was some sort of something that happened in a students third year there that made them want to transfer. Some sort of crazy initiation.
Realizing the question probably sounded horribly blunt as if she didn't think he should be here, she gave a small nervous laugh. "Not that it's not great that you did, I just wondered the why. Which," she continued on hurriedly. "you don't have to answer if...you don't want to."

He wasn't sure why he was so nervous. Except for when he spied the prefect badge. Merlin, lots had changed around here. He'd hoped he'd be able to slip right back into the swing of things, but that was obviously not going to be the case.
Hearing Ivory's 'aww,' Dallin snickered quietly. He looked sideways at the prefect, smirking. Then he started to wonder if Ellie saw what Ivory was so obviously seeing in the Huffie prefect.
"Oh, you have!" His smirk morphed into a smile when Ivory said she'd heard of Merlin's. For some reason he was happier when people he talked to already knew about the school. He was about to answer her question, but she kept talking.
Chuckling, he shook his head. "Don't worry, it's not really personal. I went there for four years, got tired of living in my sisters' shadows, and talked my parents into letting me come here." He shrugged to show that it wasn't really a big deal. "I think it's great that I came here too," he said, half-smiling. "I like this place a lot better."
Hearing a voice kind of behind him, Dal looked back. A Ravenclaw? Dallin wondered if he should introduce himself, but then he decided to wait. He didn't want to inturrupt anything.
Jeanne smiled at the young girl in front of her. She took a bite from her food and took a sip from her pumpkin juice. She saw a lot of new Ravenclaws today. That's nice. "Are you anticipating for anything this term perhaps?" she asked the girl. Well, everyone is expecting something for the term. Some may shock us, some night bore us. "Do you like quidditch perhaps?" Jeanne asked her. First years are always encouraged to enter in quidditch and stuffs. It's best they do partake in such activities. Speaking of Quidditch, Jeanne should try out as well. Well, if she could prove she's good at it.
"Well I'm really looking forward to classes but quidditch sounds fun as well." Yuki said. "My father played quidditch when he was in school and told me all kinds of stories about it."
Dallin grinned back at Ellie for a second, holding a laugh in. She already knew he liked Quidditch and -- his eyes widened when she mentioned trying out. He shrugged one shoulder before Ellie went on talking to Treyen. He had a feeling he wasn't going to get out of it so easy. He didn't exactly know how he felt about trying out for the team.
"Puddlemere United," He answered automatically, looking back at the Puff. He stopped himself from adding the Holyhead Harpies. He didn't really support that team, but it was one of his favorites. "I don't see them play much, though, what with having muggle parents and whatnot..." He could imagine what would happen if he asked his parents if he could go to a Quidditch game. The look on his dad's face would be hilarious. "What about you?"
He listened to them talk about the professor for a while before tuning out. When was the headmaster gonna give his speech? Dal was hungry!
Tsk! He was grinning back. Yes, this was all very hard to watch, like, seriously. But Treyen was certainly getting better at whatever had been overcoming him. Though, he still didn't like Dallin, that was a fact.
But, the boy seemed to have good taste in Quidditch. Puddlemere United was an amazing one. Good for Dallin. And...whaaaaaat?! He was Muggleborn?! He loooved Muggleborns! Treyen could just...forget the whole Ellie-thing, right? After all, he did know very little of the Ravenclaw boy. "That's a nice team you support," he approved, and that was A LOT, coming from Treyen, especially now, "I'm with the Arrows, always supported them, my dad used to play with them," that was the main reason, and, also, the Arrows were simply amazing.
There was a reason why Drake Warren was chosen to play for England again, he was the best Beater the Arrows' had ever had.

Oh. Merlin. She knew that. She knew that. The redhead mentally kicked herself in the butt. She was blaming her cousins. Again. Good thing they weren't here to know that she blamed them for pretty much every negative thing that's happened since summer.
Though she knew it wasn't REALLY their fault.
"Oh man." She would've loved to see that. Loved to. Cousins. Ugh.
The picture. Right. Ellie still didn't take it. She stared at it a bit more, biting her lip. More for the reason that she wasn't sure what would come out of her mouth if she opened it. "Mine?"
"I...I," she shook her head and looked at Treyen. She would SO cry right now if she wasn't Ellie Stone. Like seriously. She might cry anyway.
And she still didn't take the picture. She didn't believe it. It was like...too much EPICness that...it couldn't be hers. So... yeah. She just couldn't move her hand.
However, Ellie could move her head, and she turned to look at the boy...Tiberius... that approached Treyen. Waiting.
Oh.
She was biting her lip again...that...couldn't be good. It was her question that sort of surprised him, though. He didn't get it. "Yes...," he said, tentatively, as if he was afraid he'd made an even BIGGER mistake, this kind of reminded him of how he acted around Neptune, except...he was smarter around Queen Bott, "...it's for you."
Eyes were on her, no doubt.
And...he was so going to assume she didn't want it if she didn't take it soon enough, unless she was still mad at him for not greeting her?
But her words were failing her, and he became even more worried about it. The Prefect eyed Ivy for a moment, as if to ask if he'd done something wrong, but the only one who could answer him was Ellie. Really.
"You...what?" he said, softly, "Are you alright?" he only hoped he wasn't the one to blame.
And he was about to ask if she liked her gift or if he should...like...sell it or something when the other voice spoke up.

Mmmmhmmm. He sooo wanted to say 'State your business', but there was no reason for Treyen to be that rude, not that he'll ever say such a thing.
But...he knew his name.
Blink.
Treyen froze at his next words. The fifth year actually felt like he was a firstie again, talking to a boy about planes and whatnot and comparing him to Harry Potter anytime he could.
THE Tiberius?!
He opened his mouth, but failed to say something. He just kept on blinking.
Tiberius. The most unusual name he's ever heard. How could Treyen NOT remember him?! His whole face lit up with one of those blinding Gilderoy-like smiles and he stood up..."Tiberius!"...mind you, he was standing ON the bench, and pretty much gave the tall boy a tight hug.
It was manly enough, okay?
"You never wrote," that was the first thing he thought of saying, after he'd loosened the grip on the boy. Blink. "But that...doesn't matter, you're here now!" he smiled, though, not as wide as before.
Mina stopped for a moment just as she entered the Great Hall. She hadn't really expected it to change or anything, but she wanted to just look at it and take it all in. It was settling in that she wasn't dreaming now, she was actually back at Hogwarts again.
Taking that brief moment, she smiled and continued on her way toward the Ravenclaw table. Of course, she didn't know anyone she saw seating there. Some of them looked vaguely familiar, but no names popped out at her yet. She was drawing a blank as she continued down toward the other end of the table. It wasn't like she was going to seat at the end were all the new students and firsties did. No, she wasn't new at all. Yes, she hadn't been around for two years, but she wasn't new to this place.
Spotting a familiar head, she skipped over and seat down beside the one Ravvie that always made her laugh. She could still remember the last time she sat beside him in that very hall. He was banging his head against the table and it made her giggle.
"Hello again, Jacob."
Jacob's head whipped around from the first years to Mina, who once again sat by him. It was good to finally have some friends back. The people he'd been sorted with left, and now some seemed to be returning. "Hey you. Long time, no see" he said with a joking smile. He'd jumped ahead of her as they came by carriage up Hogsmead, but she'd caught up.
Jacob surveyed everything that was happening, when he saw Ivory, Treyen, Ellie and a Ravenclaw who he didn't know by name. But someone else approached the group... an almost familiar face, and as he overheard most of the conversations around him, but he heard one word from that group. 'Tiberius'? He knew that name. "Is that...?" but Jacob didn't bother to finish the question, he simply pointed at the boy, not even attempting to keep his voice down or his pointing discrete. Jacob was slightly confused.
Hearing Treyen's voice question someone nearby, Ivory turned in her seat long brown hair fanning over her shoulders in the process. Chin uplifted, to smile a greeting to the person she paused.
Large brown eyes stared at the newcomer, and she found herself blinking a few times as she tried to place him. "Tibi?" She asked questioningly as he offered his name. Was it really him?
No way. Wow. It'd been...years really.

Tiberius shuffled his feet a little, aware of exactly how many people were involved in this conversation that he'd just busted in on. He nodded and offered a little half wave and a mouthed 'hi' to the Ravenclaws he certainly didn't recognize, but quickly turned back when he heard another call him Tibi.
Tibi... No one called him that any more. Except his mum. And well.. ok, so a few did, but most called him Tiberius now. But yes.. Tibi. That's how people here would remember him.
He looked at the girl and smiled before his eyes went wide with recognition. "Ivory?"
He was about to say more, when he suddenly was enveloped by a rather exuberant Treyen on the bench. Tiberius' smile broke into a grin as he attempted to move his arm to pat the boy on the back. Remembered, he was!
When the boy's grip loosened, Tiberius reached up to rub the back of his head. "Jake was so mad when I told him I was transferring that I thought most everyone would be, too," he offered apologetically. He shrugged. "But, I'm back now and if all goes well, I'll stay till I graduate."
He paused, looking at the boy's badge once again. "Prefect, eh?"

"To…um.. you know… try to balance myself better….while flying." She added leaning in toward her friend. What if someone passed by and took that on her? Like Enya, her best friend? That would be a disaster.
Turning back to the staff table she nodded, "I didn't attend DADA last year… but I studied some on my own to pass the exam." Which was a bad decision by the way, "But I am intending it this year." She shot a meaningful look at the fifth year friend, "You know, if I am going to take revenge for my kitten, I should do great in DADA. Right?" Hint hint.
The professor was okay now? "Oh, I didn't mean the professor herself. I meant the subject she gave. I'd never done a potion right on my own.. and believe me if she just wasn't as serious as she is, I would've done better." Because Louisa was good at everything, and if something was wrong then it was someone else's fault. *stares* who are you calling big headed?
Vashti just gave Louisa a LOOK when she said sitting on a broom was torture. Clearly she wasn't thinking properly, probably because she was so hungry it was making her delusional. Yeah, that was it. But the LOOK faded as the younger girl continued, suddenly sounding very uncertain and nervous. She'd bought a broom? Even though she didn't like flying...? "Do you...want me to help you?" Vashti asked, unsure whether that was what Louisa was wanting or if she was just informing her that she'd bought a broom and thought that would improve her balance on it. "I'd be happy to help if you'd like me too." She was always willing to help anyone realize the joys of flying on a broom. Always.
She listened as her friend explained the DADA situation and nodded...until she brought up the revenge part. Vashti frowned and sighed, perhaps a little exasperated. "You're not still planning on going back there, are you," she said, more as a statement than a question.
Eh? "What's wrong with her being serious?" she asked. "I'd think it'd be harder to get a potion done if we had someone who wasn't serious about it." Just imagine if they had some crazy-hyper professor for Potions. That would...be very amusing, actually. Unless her grades went down because of it. Nothing would be amusing then. Nothing.

An American! Mina hadn't really heard that accent in some time. Some of her family had desecendents from there, but it was different to heard that accent again. A good kind of different really. Nah. Couldn't be Tibi! It just couldn't.
Mina returned his smile with another of her own. "Yeah, if you thought you could rid of me before, I'm kind of here to stay now," she teased. Oh how she did miss being about to joke with her friends again. It really was something that she was lacking the last two years.
Spanning the hall again, she noticed Ellie and someone that she had just seem not too long. Hearing Jacob, she smiled and nodded. "Yup, that would be Tibi." She was sure the others thought he looked different, but she was used to the change considering she did see him around the last two years.
Raising her hand slightly, she gave a wave. The rumour was true and that house cup really was theirs again this term.
Tiberius shuffled his feet a little, aware of exactly how many people were involved in this conversation that he'd just busted in on. It was so unexpected and such a great surprise to have him back. Tiberius was back. If only he could get Nolan as well. Or at least Dodson, because he needed to make fun of a Professor, no?
He was still smiling, but then he mentioned Jake, yes, he was on good terms with the former Hufflepuff Seeker, yet he didn't know that Jake knew about Tibi's whereabouts. "Oh," he said, trying not to pay attention to the Jake part, "I...never knew...," that Jake knew, "I just showed up at Hogwarts and you were gone," and he didn't know the address or knew how to find him. It had been rather heartbreaking.
Like, watching Fletcher leave Hogwarts. Yes, that was heartbreaking too.
"You have to, you have to stay," he hurried to say, and he did some match in his head. He was a fifth year, which meant Tibi was in his sixth year...so...two years of Tibi! AWESOME!
Aha! He noticed the look towards his badge. GRIN. "I am. First year of it." And he was performing admirably, as one could see, because he was sitting at the wrong table.
Treyen felt so little, not height-wise, but like a first year, and it sooo didn't match the badge on his robes...and speaking of heights, the boy climbed down the bench, which was probably the worst idea ever since Tiberius was much taller than him.
"Oh, yeah, this is Ellie." Nod, he gesturing towards the redhead next to him. And Dallin? Yeah, no thanks.

So, "Hi," Tiberius.
And hi Jacob?
Actually, after that hug, he wished that the World Cup would happen every year, and that each year he could get Ellie a signed picture. It was all for the hug, no?
Like, the last time with the kiss?
Certainly.
And now that he wasn't standing on the bench, he could properly reply to the girl, no?
"Sorry, umm, he's Tiberius...he...was away from Hogwarts for a while," well, he WAS apologizing for ignoring her the little time he focused entirely on Tiberius. Because now he knew that ignoring Ellie was a very bad idea. Surely, she understood it this time, right?
And...GRIN. "So, you liked your present?" just to be suuuuuuure, he had to ask. "I didn't know what you would like, so, I figured this was pretty good," he said, gesturing towards the picture. Not to mention that he'd had the time of his life sneaking in some tents to get the picture signed. Again, thank you, Aaron.
"Do you...want me to help you?" Louisa nodded enthusiastically. "I'd love it! You see I'm not that good at flying.." That was overestimating the problem actually. "..and I don't want it to be my weakness. I mean, it's not that difficult right?" which wasn't why she couldn't do it properly. It was the fact being in the air with nothing to depend on but a stick underneath you. It was crazy...and dizzying. Now, if Vashti could help, Louisa made a promise in her mind to never ever disrespect Quidditch in front of her! Or even she'd attend the matches and cheer for her! See? She was so determined.
But then.. Vashti was being a bit.. hesitant about getting the revenge? Wha.."What?! Of course I am going back in!" The young girl answered defiantly. "I am not a quitter!" She looked away from Vashti and focused on her hands tapping on the table, to hide her irritation at the mere idea of letting go.
Without looking back, she shrugged regarding the potions matter. "All I'm saying is that I suck when people get very serious or hard on me." Which meant she had to live up for the high expectations. "Something inside tells me to just turn off." Her voice trailed away slightly. Was that true? SHe didn't really notice it till the words were out.
"I think that's true about Slytherin, but then again, I've never actually been there." Adelyn laughed; she was certain Slytherin's common room was in the dungeons, she just wasn't sure of the exact location. "Gryffindor's is in one of the towers, too." She explained while tugging gently at a loose curl that laid on her shoulder.
She glanced over at the Gryffindor table and then back at her little sister, not completely sure of where she wanted to be at the moment. It was a tough choice, really; Melina was so wonderful, but on the other hand, she hadn't seen anyone in her house nearly all summer... "We can definitely meet up somewhere, just let me know where. You can use my owl if you want, if you can't find me. He's usually in with all of the other owls, and if you send a message with him, he'll find me. But I'll show you the entire castle if I have to; there will be no getting lost on my watch." Adelyn assured her little sister with a grin.
Melina nodded her head enthusiastically at Adelyn. "We'll be together at breakfast tomorrow, right? I can see you then. I don't know how crazy it's going to be around here this week, but if there's time, I'd love for you to give me that tour!" She didn't really want to let Adelyn go- she suddenly had the absurd impulse to cling to her big sister's leg. But the mental image was enough to make Melina laugh out loud.
She reached out and hugged Adelyn tightly, holding her for that extra moment reserved for only the most loved family and friends. Pulling back, she looked at her sister (gosh, that sounded so nice to say) and said, "I hope you have a great night, sweetie. And I hope my nerves let me sleep at all!" she laughed. Even though she really was worried about it.
Her eyes dancing as she met Treyen's eyes, Ivory just gave a small secret girl smile and turned back to Dallin. It wouldn't do for a girl to go decrypting another girl's actions to the boy in question. There was a girl code too you know.
Nevertheless, as she saw Ellie's excitement for her gift she made a tiny thumbs up behind Dallin's back just in case Treyen happened to be looking. Hopefully Dallin didn't think she was invading his personal space at random.
Speaking of which- he was shrugging. That was good at least. Now she didn't feel like she was prying into sore subjects. "Well, glad you like it here then." And she was. For purely statistical Ravenclaw prefect pride-ness of course. Purely. "Sisters left you mighty big shoes to fill, I suppose?" Just more reading between the lines really. She wouldn't take it personally if he decided it was none of her business.
SPOILER!!: Treyen

Treyen could just...forget the whole Ellie-thing, right? After all, he did know very little of the Ravenclaw boy. "That's a nice team you support," he approved, and that was A LOT, coming from Treyen, especially now, "I'm with the Arrows, always supported them, my dad used to play with them," that was the main reason, and, also, the Arrows were simply amazing.
There was a reason why Drake Warren was chosen to play for England again, he was the best Beater the Arrows' had ever had.
SPOILER!!: Tibi :)

It was him! And he recognized her!
Smiling shyly, Ivory pushed her palms against the table about to get up herself to shake his hand, or hug him, or something- when Treyen beat her to it. Hugged him well enough for all of them.
Exhaling a breath of air that sent her bangs flying, she settled for turning sideways so that she faced both Dallin and the Tibi! meet and greet all at once. With a grin, the Ravenclaw prefect listened to what he had to say and couldn't resist piping up. "Aw, we weren't mad." A little upset at having lost such an outstanding Ravenclaw and quidditch player but never mad. That word was reserved for when muggle commercials lasted too long, or when on a hot day you were the unlucky person who wore black. That was when Ivory got mad at least. "But it's great to have you back Tibi-" She stopped herself short there. Perhaps, he didn't want to be called that anymore. "Tiberius." she corrected with a one dimpled smile even though with all honesty it sounded a bit odd to pronounce his full name in a social setting. Kind of felt like she was getting to lecture him, which she so totally was not.
"I'd like to be your friend. I can't wait for the wedding." She took a sip of her pumpkin juice then asked, "Why is Rex so down?"
" Cool, another freind" William smiled. " The wedding should be a lot of fun" Wiliam told Rowan." Rene never came back, so there is no wedding" William explained to Rowan. " He wants nothing to do with females at all anymore and this his third time he lost a fiancee" William explained a little more to Rowan.

Theodore raised an eyebrow, cocking his head to the side. "Really?" He asked, quite surprised. Well, if she was offering to be hospitable, he would take advantage of the opportunity. "Well, heh, thank you." He answered, slightly flushing pink. "I've... never had a butterbeer, actually. They don't make those where I live..." He trailed off, biting his lip as he realized his small blunder. "I mean, where I used to live."
Brushing away his thoughts of homesickness, he had to do a double take when she once again proved him wrong. "Fourth? That's odd. I would've thought that you were at least a fifth year, but..." He laughed, shaking his head, "What do I know? I'm a transfer; so yes, haha, to answer your question. I'm from New York. Well, I was born in England, but I went to the U.S. when I was a kid and I just recently came back, and-" He stopped abruptly, noticing that he was babbling on. "I'm sorry," He bit his lower lip in consternation. "But, what about you? Are you a... Hogwartian, through and through?"
Well it's settled then. Butterbeer for Theodore if ever they go to Hogsmeade for some shopping. This feels nice, Jeanne was actually making new friends. Going to Beauxbatons was a bleak for her. She didn't had a lot of friends nor actually made one. She felt like she was the odd girl amongst everyone. "So you live in New York?" Jeanne hasn't been never outside Europe. She'd love to see what US was like. She finds it interesting. "How's it?" her eyes beaming with interest.
Like Jeanne, he was also a transferee. He went to New York City. She was really fascinated about Theodore. His accent and the place he came from, it does amaze Jeanne. "I went to Beauxbatons 2 years ago." she frowned as she mentioned the school name. She never liked that school in any way. She couldn't even think of a nice adjective to go with it. "But I went to school here in my first year" she shared. "So i guess, i transferred back" yeah, after much argument with her mum and dad.
A fifth year? Really? "Why do i think i was?" she curiously asked. She doesn't know how he was sure that she was a fifth year. "Tell me" she laughed.
Caroline could not believe that it was time to be back at Hogwarts again. It would be her sixth year of Hogwarts. The past term had gone by so quicky. But it had been Caroline's best and favorite, her had made amazing friends, had the best boyfriend in the world last term, so this next term could only get better, right?
She found a seat at the table. This summer Caroline and her mother had gotten along amazingly well. The best in years. Her mum's new husband was pretty awesome. She had been the maid of honor in her brother Casey and Sarah's wedding. She had gotten to spend time with her friends and boyfriend a little and even made some new one's this summer, spent time in New York with her sister Starr. But it was the best summer ever, and she never wanted it to end, but at the same time she was so happy to be back at Hogwarts.

Ellie had sat silently for awhile, mindlessly thinking about the upcoming school year. She should socialise a bit, make some friends so it wasn't entirely suckish. Her eyes darted around the table for someone to talk to.
She noticed a girl around her age come to the table. She looked kind. "Hi, I'm Ellie Summers, a sixth year." She said kindly, smiling at the girl.
Olivia turned to Emmy and gave a soft smile. Here it is, she coached herself, your first conversation at Hogwarts. Don't look like an idiot. "Hi, I'm Olivia O'Hughes. Yeah... first year." She giggled a bit nervously. "Are you first year too?"
Olivia felt excited when yet another girl chose to sit next to her. Maybe making friends here wouldn't be so bad after all. "Hi, Luna. I'm Olivia, and this is Emmy. Yes, I'm a first year too. I'm so excited for classes, aren't you?" Olivia couldn't wait to be able to do all the magical things she'd seen happen around her since she was born.
''Nice to meet you Olivia and yes I cant wait untill the classes'' said Luna in an exited voice Luna was very happy she joined her
Brielle. Such an adorable name and she's 2 years younger. Oh well, Jeanne's not getting any younger. She shook Brielle's hand. "It's nice to meet you." she smiled at her warmly.
She nodded her head when Brielle asked if she was a Ravenclaw. "Yes i am" well she was wearing a blue and bronze necktie. "Yeah it's good to be back." originally Jeanne went to hogwarts when she's in the first year but then she transferred to Beauxbatons for two years and now she's back, boy was that a big mistake. "I just transferred back." she shared. She took another bite from her pie. She felt so full but the pie dessert was just too much delicious. And yes, she's going to take seconds of that pie.
"You too!" Brielle exclaimed, smiling widely as the older student took her hand. Now that she could see her closely, Brielle realized that it was somehow hard to believe that Jeanne was two years older, because she certainly didn't look like it.
"Oh, great! Maybe we'll see each other a lot in the common room," she said. Unintentionally, Brielle had been meeting a lot of fellow Ravenclaws this year, which she was thankful to because she could see them more often, being in the same house and all. "Oh, transferred? From what school?" she asked, curious to know more about her. "Actually I think I can be considered as transfering back here, too." Brielle continued, since she was asking Jeanne of her story, it felt right to maybe tell hers too.

Yeah.Come sit and change the subject or something, Ivan.
... Lexi followed Jim's gaze and spotted Finlay. Sigh. She gave him a weak smile and a little wave. Perhaps she would catch him later.
Mmm. He ignored Rufus. YEAH MONKEY THATS WHAT YOU GET.
He caught that slip and that wasn't the only thing he caught. Without commenting, Jim reached out a little finger and stroked the visible bruising on her face.
Later.
"You and Ivan were?" He grinned. Not as if he were implying anything, just that... he was relieved, clearly relieved. "Well you know I'm in."

Ivan gave Lexi a slight smirk and raised an eyebrow at her. "It was Dora. Meh. She said I was like her brother or something." He gave a shrug and twirled around the fork again. "Yeah they're making me or I lose my title," he glanced over at her hand on his arm.
Before he could say anything he found himself being dragged over to James and unceremoniously pulled down onto the bench.
He looked at James and gave a smile, laughing as the monkey hit him on the head and ran back to Lexi. Returning his semi greeting with a nod he looked at Lexi. Seeing the look on her face he cleared his throat and leaned across her on the table placing one hand on her back to comfort her. Yeah, he got it. "So James where were you on the train? I didn't see you." Though he also hadn't left his compartment at all either....
"Ivan has the monkey!fear." Jim commented to the table as a whole.
Hehe.
He allowed himself to imagine unleashing a whole bunch of them in the dorm in the middle of the night just to see how Ivan dealt with it. It'd be like... chaotic.
Dung would be flung.
He looked at Ivan at his question and shrugged.
"Snagged some space to myself and took advantage." He admitted, straight up. "There were people I didn't want to see."

Weird girl.

"Cute Monkey" she smiled to Lexi...unsure what else to really say they didn't exactly know eachother other than in classes.
"Perfect." He winked at Kyle cheerfully and then practically inhaled some cauldron cakes, somehow managing to mind his manners as he did so.
He was looking forward to the first yearbook meeting. He was interested to see who would be interested enough to come along and get recruited and whatnot.
And also, there were already a few pretty girls on the team which would distract him nicely from other stuff.

First though, the dilemma of where to sit.
Seeing Ellie otherwise occupied, the small second year looked for other familiar faces. And then he spotted two of the most epic guys at Hogwarts. There were pretty much his HEROES of last term. With a grin, he ran over to Finn, and skidded to a halt just before he hit the boy's ribs. "Where you going?" he asked, curls bouncing. "Jimmy's over hereeeee."
And with a tug, his pulled Finn over and plonked himself next to Jimmy. "Haiiii Jimmy! Good summer?" he greeted, completely oblivious and not bothering to ask if he could sit there. Of course Finn could, being all super cool and all that. So Spike could too, right?! And with that sorted, he carefully put Killy and Kranky on the table so they wouldn't get squashed.
....
"Hey Spike." Jim shot a wary look at Finlay and fixed his attention firmly on the little 'claw instead.
"It was a summer." He offered by way of answering, shrugging one shoulder. "What did you do, kid? Anything epic?"
He didn't acknowledge Finn again, but he didn't tell him to rack off either.

"Evening Batman." GIGGLE.

Rowan's jaw nearly hit the floor. "Poor Rex. It's been so long since I've seen him, I had no idea. I didn't even know Rene had left." She fought to hold back the tears. Some friend she turned out to be. Rex was the best friend she'd ever had and she had no idea. "I hope he has someone there for him right now. Maybe Jason?"
"Well I'm really looking forward to classes but quidditch sounds fun as well." Yuki said. "My father played quidditch when he was in school and told me all kinds of stories about it."
It was the first time Jeanne talked to a first ear who is sorted under Ravenclaw, so it felt kinda nice to do so. "What's your name?" Jeanne asked her. She looked Asian and surely she is one. Jeanne didn't quite catch her name, she hoped it would be simple and not that hard to pronounce.
She started talking about Quidditch and her father. "In my case my mother used to play quidditch..." that part really amused her the most. The fact that both of her parents are completely different from each other especially when it comes to hobbies. Her mother would be the sporty type while her father would be the bookworm. "My mother taught me how to fly and play quidditch" during family reunions they play a small quidditch tournament. Family VS Family. Nothing big, just for fun. "You should try out if you want." Jeanne encouraged her. After all she heard that the Ravenclaws won the Quidditch tournament last term.

Jeanne put her book aside and decided to interview Brielle more. Jeanne always loved to ask questions after all. But it felt weird when Brielle stared at Jeanne. It felt awkward, she thought if there was something on her face. Was it the apple pie perhaps? Jeanne tried to look away, she seemed to be bothered by Brielle's long pause and stare.
"I hope too" she said. Ravenclaw's common room. How she missed it. It's been awhile and now she's finally back. "I went to Beauxbatons" Brielle was the 5th person to ask her that question. She didn't like when the topic went deeper about her previous school. She didn't like going there at all.
Really? "you're a transferee too?" she asked, smiling. Wow, a lot of transferees this year. Hogwarts should be really proud. many students are getting more loyal and loyal to this school. "from where?" she added.
An American! Mina hadn't really heard that accent in some time. Some of her family had desecendents from there, but it was different to heard that accent again. A good kind of different really. Taking the offered hand, she shook it gently. "Nice to meet you, Theodore," she smiled. "I hope you enjoy your time with us. Never a dull moment around here."
Catching a movement out of the corner of his eye, Tiberius turned and spied Mina waving. Smiling, he waved his hand in return. So, she was back, too. He'd been hoping that was the case. At least someone he'd recognize and not have to play three years of catch-up with.

MERLIN'S DIMPLES. Treyen was Prefect. ...and Ellie missed it.

So, "Hi," Tiberius.
And hi Jacob?

Turning back to the group, Tiberius put his hand in his pocket again. Looking at the girl, he glanced back up at Treyen at the introduction. "Hi," he responded. "It's good to meet you."
Looking up at Treyen, he marveled at how when he'd left, Treyen was a first year, and now, he was a prefect. Things had continued on at Hogwarts without him, and he'd never really given that much thought.
"It just didn't seem.. I don't know. Mum really wanted me to start over while I was at Beauxbatons."
But he'd made her change her mind.

Tiberius smiled and chuckled a little when she corrected herself. "Tibi's fine if that's the first thing that pops out. Tiberius, too." He paused, debating whether to continue. "People at Beauxbatons called me Tibs, if that's better for you."
And then, scratching the back of his neck, he moved on to the substance of her statement. "It's really good to be back. Weird. Different. But good."
