Ravenclaw House Table

Eat, drink, and be merry, O Eagles, for tomorrow the term begins.

Alice got sorted into Ravenclaw, she was so excited. She skipped to the Ravenclaw table and sat down. She didn't know ANYBODY yet. But she hoped that people would talk to her despite how un-modern she was.

YES!! Emerald thought as she skipped to the Ravenclaw table. She sat down near another girl her age and said with a huge grin, "Hey, I'm Emerald Fallows." She held out her hand to the girl.

Gavin got sorted into Ravenclaw. He was so excited. It fitted so well with his personality and his love of learning and books.

He ran to the table and sat next to another first year who had just got sorted.

"Hi! I'm Gavin!" he told her with a wide smile.

Mugglemad 05-02-2011 10:33 PM

Victoria walked towards the ravenclaw table, she was looking for her friends and still playing with her engagement ring.

By the time they'd arrived at Hogwarts this year, Vashti was starving and not for the first time wished the food was already on the table. Waiting any longer was just cruel, really. But alas, there wasn't anything she could do about it. She'd just have to suffer an empty stomach for a bit longer.

Taking a seat, she sent a smile at the little group of first years then scanned the Great Hall, looking for any of her friends.

Yaya 05-02-2011 10:41 PM

On the way into the Great Hall for the Begining of Term feast, Marie could only think of her mother asking her numerous times why she was wearing her heels in such a weird day when she'd be carrying her trunk and walking a lot. But the only thing that made her feel satisfied about it was the response she'd give her. Because she needed them, and because they didn't bother her until...she entered the place.

She found a seat almost at the back of the hall and then looked at the main table at the front, where the professors and headmaster soon would fill it up.

Mugglemad 05-02-2011 10:44 PM

She decided that she would sit in the seat nearest to her, she looked at the other students as she sat down.

Emmy smiled at the girl as she sat down. "I'm Emmy." she said. She felt that she needed to get to know some older students as well as younger ones.

Ariana saw a girl quite a bit older than her sitting alone, and, not really in the mood for first years, walked up and introduced herself.
"Hi, I'm Ariana. Now the Sorting's over, you think they could get along with the food already?" she said, her stomach rumbling. This made her blush, even though it just illustrated her point exactly.

Mugglemad 05-02-2011 10:51 PM

"I am Victoria, I am a seventh year" she told the girl when she had sat down "This is your first year Emmy!"

Finally, the great hall extended before Louisa as she stood at the big double door and stared. She breathed in deeply and grinned. "And the adventure begins!" She said loudly without caring about the crazy-stares she was getting from passing students- which reminded her, she had to walk in.
Wearing her robes and her hair up in a pony tail, Louisa walked as gracefully as a 'teen' should walk. She was a big girl, for the hundredth time this month, and she was going to act like one.
Luckily, and for the very first time in two years, she arrived as one of the early students. And who was the first she saw? "VASHTI!" She called enthusiastically, running over to where her friend sat ( the gracefulness out of the window) and threw herself next to the older friend. "Big day, eh?" She grinned.

Anybody? ^_^

Dallin was grinning as he walked into the Great Hall. He looked around the huge room, trying to find all of the new faces. He didn't of course, because there were so many, as soon he was at the Ravenclaw table anyway. He sat down and looked around at the unfamiliar faces around him. It felt nice to not be one of the 'new kids' this year. He felt older, more mature. He liked it.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAAA! Kana's mother had won the bet! She was sorted into Ravenclaw after all! After taking a seat near the front of the table, beaming with happiness, she tried to contain herself.

She was wearing a black, double-breasted shirt and dark faded skinny jeans under her black dress robes. Luckily, she was able to get Kit to the common room with her stuff, so she wouldn't be suffocating under there.

Smoothing her bright, bright red hair, she wiggled slightly in her seat from all the excitement.

Vashti's attention was instantly pulled away from the Hufflepuff table when she heard a girl's voice standing next to her and introducing herself. She grinned. "I wish they would," she agreed. "I'm starving after that long train ride." Sure, there was candy on the Hogwarts Express, but that really wasn't the same as a good, proper meal. Plus eating a lot of candy just made people sick - even Vashti could admit that.

"Oh, and it's nice to meet you, Ariana," she added, smiling. "I'm Vashti."

"Hey Louisa!" Vashti greeted the third year. She wasn't even going to bring up that day in Knockturn Alley. Especially since nothing, fortunately, had happened. "Big day?" she asked, a little puzzled. "How?"

Jacob jumped down from the self moving carriages still with his locked bag. He Walked through the large wooden doors that once again marked another Term at Hogwarts, another term of Quidditch, another Term of Victory... but at the same time, Jacob felt anxious. He'd forced himself to take several NEWT level courses, and he had no idea how hard they'll actually be. And how NEWT DADA and Arithmancy and the other courses would be different than the standard level.

He entered the Great hall, his eyes flickered to the staff table. He knew many teachers would be leaving, but he wanted to know who would be their replacements. Maybe some really cool ones... or the was always the chance of the weird ministry approved ones that taught, but never the same way that normal teachers did.

After finally taking in that many of the staff still hadn't arrived, Jacob moved to the Ravenclaw table. It had taken Jacob forever to figure out which table was which, the only times he had found it is when he saw Ravenclaws go to it, but now... now Jacob was a sixth year, he had 6 years of experience in this school, 6 years on a broom, and 5 years playing the sport, and Jacob was finally an Upperclassmen. He had privileges like the Prefect's Bathroom, but he also had advantages over the younger students. He could do almost anything he liked.

Jacob sat at the table but kept his bag over his shoulder, he was not letting it down. As he he sat his sleeve moved in such a way to reveal most of the tattoos that stretched over his arms. But he didn't notice, all his focus was on the plates in front of him... 'Come on Tate, Get over with the speech and let us eat. I'm Starved!' he thought just as his stomach gave out a loud grumble, proclaiming its agreement with his thoughts.

Coming to a stop at the entrance, Ivory paused for a second to take a deep lingering breath. Home. At least, her home away from home anyway. With the way her summer had gone...well suffice to say she glad to be back.

Flashing a bright smile to anyone who happened to catch her eye, Ivory weaved her way forward through the house tables clapping as different students got sorted into Ravenclaw.

"Congrats guys," she called out to the new first years sitting at their table. "Welcome to Ravenclaw."

A genuine smile on her face, she looked around the table. Spying a familiar face from the train, the Ravenclaw prefect plopped down next to him giving him a little nudge with her elbow. "Hey you." With a small grin, she shrugged her slim shoulders. "I promise I'm totally not stalking you on purpose."

"Yeah..." and imagined the table filled with food. Chicken and pasta and later pudding and other sugary stuff...

"Nice to meet you too, Vashti!"

How? Did she really ask that? Louisa chuckled, "We are back at Hogwarts!" She shouted…again in like two minutes. She was so not good at the lady-teen thing. "Besides, the trip wasn't a tiring one this term." For her anyways. In her excitement, she didn't notice the girl sitting nearby, Louisa smiled politely at her and nodded as a greeting. Was she with them? Well, she didn't know..yet.

She was still grinning and started looking around for more familiar faces, the grin didn't cease.
Until someone caught her eyes which turned into golf balls for a few seconds and she immediately shifted in her seat and faced Vashti. "Ugh. It's him" She whispered to her friend and from the corner of her eye she followed him. If he was to sit anywhere near her, say like three foot away, she was so going under the table to move faaaarther away. She was in a happy mood and the memory of her being coward didn't sound so happy.

squidnie 05-02-2011 11:16 PM

Looking around, Dal caught a glimpse of a familiar face. As he looked longer he recognized one of the girls he'd shared a compartment with one the train - Louisa. She seemed like she was in the middle of talking to people, though, so he just tried to catch her eye and give her a smile and a wave.

Feeling someone nudge him, Dallin turned toward the nudge with a thoughtful look on his face. A smile spread across his face at her comment. "Good to know," he replied brightly, "But I wouldn't blame you if you were." He had a tendency to show more of his personality - and therefore his ego - once he already knew someone.

"How are your Prefecty duties going?" He asked curiously. He didn't know much about Prefects, since his last school didn't have any. He didn't even know what 'Prefecty duties' included.

"Hi Alice! I'm from London! And you?"
Gavin was simply too excited to be his usual reserved self. He was pretty sure that his mum would be surprised at how many words he had said that day. But this was so exciting! New school with others just like him; new friends who would not make fun of him; and learning magic! How better could it really get?
