Olivia thought for a moment, almost certain that she'd heard it mentioned somewhere that Hogwarts had a curfew. Then she shrugged. They were almost to the door and if they got caught, being so new was certainly a good enough excuse and an honest mistake. "Okay, let's go. Where is the owlery anyway?"

Now that she'd decided that they wouldn't get in much trouble, Olivia was looking forward to exploring and getting to know where things were, even if it was just the owlery for now.

''My brother told me where he was at hogwarts last year was his 7th year now he's doing somthing for the ministry he hasnt told us what though it would of been nice toow very see someone you know very well here'' said Luna while showing the way to go

Ember new exactly which one she was most excited for, but new that many would probably think she was weird for it. " ummm Divination." Ember looked down waiting for the laughs.
Ember looked up when she heard her name being called. " Oh hey Cleo, sure come join us, we were all about to go up to the Owlery, want to come." Ember stood up and looked a her four friends.

"Well I'm glad we won't end up lost then," Olivia said with a small laugh.


"Ooh. Do you have seers in your family?" Olivias asked Ember. She wasn't sure if she thought divination was worth learning (she'd always heard that you either could do it or you couldn't), but she still thought it would be cool to try at least once.

She turned to the other two girls-- one who had been talking to Ember before, and the other who had just arrived. "By the way, I'm Olivia O'Hughes, I don't think I've gotten your names yet."

Ember smiled. " Well in my family actually no, there are not any, but you see im the first Weasley seer, so im looking forward to what Divination will bring." Ember was excited about it, the prospect of gaining more skills to project her abilities was a fantastic thought.

Oh, what a normal way to meet someone? But then again, the last time Katelynn had met someone in a normal way was.... so long ago she couldn't even remember when!
She chuckled; "Don't worry about it. I'm Katelynn, but you can call me Kat or whatever!"

"Oh sorry," Charlie laughed feeling slightly foolish for not introducing herself. She had been so excited about making friends. "I'm Charlie" Here it comes "Rimsworth" she said, "What are your names?" she smiled at the two girls.

Dallin chuckled when she said the name was a mouthful. "It's an embarrassing name, too," he added honestly. He laughed again when he got the image of all the owls 'laughing' at Barty.

"I think so too," he said with a smile. "I've always wanted one." He didn't know why he liked them so much, he just thought they were really cool dogs. He nodded to her question. "Well, one of them. The police actually use a lot of breeds of dogs, for different reasons. I think German Shepards are the like, tough-guys of cop dogs." 'Cause they were the ones that went with the police to do catch the badguys and whatnot.

He smirked at her little boy immitation. "Funny, it was the twins that named Barty, too." Weird. "And hey, I wasn't making fun of the name," Okay, maybe he kind of was, "I think it's, uh, a good name for a crup." Of course, all the cool crups were named after foods. And a crup that barks at muggles? That would be awesome. Except maybe not for Dal, since most of his family were muggles.

"Very odd," he agreed, still smirking as Ivory looked around the room. He couldn't help but grin at the way she laughed even though she was talking. That fact was even better than what she said. "Ya know what? We should! Gavin and Barty can be great friends." Of course he was joking, because he really didn't believe that two animals could be friends.

Olivia grinned. "Wow!" Her voice was a little quiet with awe. Then, her eyes widened slightly. "Is it scary? I don't think I would want to know what was going to happen next. Especially, if it was something bad. I think I'd get too sad waiting for it to happen. And if it was something good, I think that would ruin the surprise."


"I like that name. It's interesting for a girl. Is it short for Charlotte?"

Ember grinned at Olivia. " ahah yer." Ember took Braemar and lifted him up onto her shoulder. Ember yawned she was getting rather sleepy. " is it me or are you all getting tired now too."

"I'm getting a little sleepy as well," Olivia agreed, petting one of the school owls that had decided to perch on her shoulder. She echoed Emmy's yawn before putting her arm out and watching the owl saunter down it before taking flight again, understanding it's dismissal.

"Shall we go back?" She asked the group.

Ellie noticed a voice speak up and looked around to see who it was. She saw Hugo peeking over his book and looking at her. Ellie smiled. A friendly face, finally. "Hey Hugo!" She said when he reached her. Ellie gestured to her suitcase when he asked how she was. "I just got here and I'm... okay, I guess." She laughed a little and ran a hand through her hair with a sigh. "I'm just hoping this year will be better than I think it will be." She said with a shrug. Hopefully, it would be.

"Malfoy- yeah, I've heard of your family! Didn't your great-great-great-great-whatever grandmother save Harry Potter's life when Voldemort thought he was dead? That's pretty amazing to have such a famous family!" she replied. Cause it really was. "So I guess not all Malfoys get sorted into Slytherin anymore either," she noticed with a smile.

"My dad should be able to charm my iPod to work around the castle- he's an ex-Auror; he practically knows every trick in the book," she said proudly.

"Are we gonna win the house cup? Hell yes, if I have anything to say about it!" she declared. Did she just say hell? The 11-year old didn't swear that much, but this girl seemed to pull the rebel out of her just a bit.

She grinned at her new friend. "Do you think we will? What classes are you excited to be taking?"


Even though Melina caught Ember's yawn and followed suit, she wanted to meet her before everyone tucked in for the night. She walked herself over to where Ember and a group of girls were standing and talking.

"Um, hi everyone! Can I join in? I'm Melina. Hi, Luna!" she waved to the one friend she already had.

"What's your name?" she asked the nice girl who was currently doing the talking. "Are you a 1st-year? It's been such a long day-I'm beat! But I just wanted to introduce myself before we went to bed. Maybe we can all sit together at breakfast tomorrow?"Melina hoped that all the girls were as friendly as Luna. From what she witnessed of their conversation, the girl...was her name Ember? Emily? She didn't quite hear it clearly from across the room..seemed really warm and friendly. She flashed an excited smile at her hopefully-new-friend.

Yeah Draco Malfoy she said with a smile.Yeah for some reason my father and some of his siblings where sorted in that house becuase of their smarts.So was my grandfather Malfoy.Yeah your right Aleast we didnt lose house points.You know what Melina Maybe we can hang out more.I mean i don't have many friends becuase my cousin over rule my freinds list.i have a two cousins in ravenclaw and a niece.

Beccan Manning walked into the/ her common room. Yawning, mainly out of boredom. Running her hand through her slick long brown hair, which was down and strait for the first time seice ariving at hogwarts, she calmy looked around. These were her peers, and the poeple she would be seeing for the next seven years. She smiled looking to see if she seen kyle manning anywhere. She shook her head laughing knowing her sister was up to no good somehwere else.

She looked around and saw a group where a Melina was introducing herself. The joys of being a first year. She took the lead, or the follow. And walked over to them. "I"m Becca Manning." She looked at the group, no one she knew.

She asked after calming down. Her fingerst still tewerling in her hair, so much for straiting it.

Stella nodded when Kyle told her that the both are a like. "But also different," she added with a small smile. She began to twirl the tip of her hair around her finger, she always does that when she's listening to someone because it helps her to concentrate. "Mocking. A behavior of a five year old," said Stella thinking for a moment. "Yes, that's Alex," she said and laughed a little about herself. "Stop laughing," she thought to herself and she stopped.

"If that boy annoys you again tell him to 'go away and play with someone your own age'," said Stella, "But make sure you don't insult him too much. Or you could just ignore him, or start talking to him and lie about a lesson in the middle," she suggested to Kyle flicking her hair back. "Ha ha, Stella your so devious, pretty and amazing," she thought to herself scratching her hair. "Being a spy or a journalist is probably fun," said Stella to Kyle once again beginning to twirl the tip of her long, blond hair around her finger.

Stella gave her friend a serious ,but friendly, look when she talked about the fashion house for wizards she wants to open, "Can you also read minds and steal ideas from your friends too?" Stella asked sarcastically. "I also want to design clothes for wizards, but I want it to be an international company so all wizards and witches will look normal," she said looking at Kyle but also making sure that her nails are okay. "My sister, Orange is a designer but only for muggle clothes, which is good for me, so when I succeed she won't steal all the fame and glory," Stella said thinking about her sister is better than her in every single way, in studying, making friends, and of course FASHION. "And if I don't become I designer, I don't have problem being a journalist like your brother and father, or being an Auror..." She said thinking about what jobs she would like to work as when she grows -up. Realizing that she had stopped talking she added quickly, "But now I want to finish school successfully."

Melina looked at her new friend strangely. "What do you mean, your cousin overrulled your friends list? Why on earth would she do that? You should be able to have any friends you want," she said with a huff.

"Am I wrong or has every other house lost points? They all seem to have negative numbers on them," she added.

"Yeah, let's totally hang out! So, what music are you listening to on your iPod?" Melina was really wondering what types of music Hannah considered cool.

"Nice to meet you Katelynn," Hugo smiled and nodded. He looked at his book. Slightly embarrased about being the bookish nerd again, he answered "It's a book about wandlore... I wanna become a wandmaker when I grow up," he nodded.

"How's your brother?" Hugo asked carefully. Didn't want to step on her toes, there. He looked over to her trunk. "Oh don't worry. This year's gonna be awesome!" he said with a smile on his face.

"Yeah,unfortunetely," Charlie sighed. She hated the name Charlotte Rimsworth. It was just so old fashioned. It was her dad's fault because he wanted her to have a non-muggle name. He wasn't prejudiced, he just hoped that she would have magic like him.

"Yeah, we should do that. Thinking about it, I am pretty tired," Charlie stifled a large yawn behind her hand. "Do you think we will all be in the same dorm?" she asked, her eyes glittering.
