Caroline giggled. He was bad at this. She took the cupcake tin and the cupcuke liner and put them in the tin. "Time to pour the batter in" she said picking up the bowl.

He felt a tad useless to be honest, he didnt know what he was doing, allthough he was enjoying himself, he watched as she picked up the bowl , spoon still in his hand even tho he was no longer stirring anything.

" can we eat these when there done ?" silly question Zander

"Yes" She said, simply that had been the plan, anyway. She took the tin over to the oven and put it in. She walked back over to Zander. "You better save me some of that on the spoon" She teased. She smiled at him.

Zander watched her put the tin in the oven, he looked over to her as she came over and smile " and now ... we wait ?" . He grinned slighty " hmm i might just flick whats on this spoon at you " he winked, he wasnt going to.. they would both probably get into trouble

Caroline giggle grabbing for the spoon. She tried but couldn't reach it. "Hey, come on a fair I'm shorter than you."She keSpt on grabbing at it. "Yes we wait, but I gotta make the icing." She said turning back it the counter. She made the icing.

Was it wrong that he got amusement out of the fact she couldnt reach up to grab the spoon, probably yeah " if you want the spoon so much .. have it " he stuck it out for her to take, then just as she was about to he whipped it away again , laughing... too easy. Oooooh Icing " how do you make icing thenn ? " he enquiried, well you never know he might need to know someday.

He occasionally glanced over at the oven, he expected it would ping or something when it was done. he then turned hes attention to the busy little elfs scurrying around the kitchen.

"Keep it really" Caroline turned and left him with the spoon. she was buzily making the icing. She would every often look at him and flash him one of her sweet smiles. She started on a second bowl of icing she had a special plan with this bowl.

When she finished with the icing she walked over to Zander with the bowl of icing. She gave Zander a sweet inncoent smile. She had away to make this fun, kinda like the snowball fight. She hid the bowl behind her back as she got closer. "Close your eyes, Close your eyes. Close them. She more than demaned with a hint of sweetness in my voice. She waited for him to close his eyes. When he did she scooped out some icing out of the bowl from behind her back, and smeared it on his face. She laughed as she did it.

This girl was full of smiles, literally full of them. Hmm two bowls of icing ... how much icing did cupcakes need ?? he shrugged it off, he wasn't the chef afterall.

" Close my eyes ?" he asked with a suspicious tone .. was this going to end up in the food fight he was expecting earlier, but then again how could he say no to that smile ?! . He kept hes eyes closed and then suddenly Icing .... on his face !! ... why did he fall for the close your eyes routine . As he opened them he saw Caroline highly amused with herself " thanks for that " he said with a sarcastic look " cant believe i fell for the sweet smile " he said as he glanced down to see her hands around her back.

He smirked slightly, now one thing he was good at was ever so quickly getting his wand out to cast quid spells.... " accio bowl ! " and for a few seconds he felt smug ... oooo sooo smug. but then suddenly he got more than he bargained for, not just the bowl with Carolines icing , but about 7 others came zooming in his direction, kitchens tend to have more than one bowl in them !! With a clatter the bowl with the icing and the other bowls hit the floor, Zander gazed at them for a while , he darent look up , he knew Caroline would be loving this !

Zander glanced at his wand " calamity " he muttered.

Caroline felt the bowl leaving her hand. She saw about seven or so other bowls fly thought that air. This wasn't going to turn out good no way. She covered her mouth in suprise. She tried to hold in her laugher. but She snorted instead. She started giggling and couldn't stop. When she finally stopped "Sorry" she said thought another laugh. "Smooth move, Zander"

Braeden rose an eyebrow at his Ravenclaw friend as the older boy warned him to tone it down, as their behaviour could arise rumours. "Hey, I wasn't the one causing a scene in the middle of the lake; at least I'm prudent enough to keep it here between us in this secluded part of the kitchen… Deusy, dear," said the boy with a smirk that soon transformed into one of his lopsided grins as he laughed aloud, amused by himself. Alright, alright. Maybe Deus had a bit of a point.

"That reminds me," started the Gryffindor boy, "Have you heard of those mystery parchments that appeared around the school last term?" he asked curiously. "Can't remember what they were called, but they each had a rumour about some of the students…" he added thoughtfully as he tried to remember the infamous little pieces of parchment. "I suppose I should tone it down. But not for me. I'll do it for all the girls who find themselves heartbroken every time you ignore them to hang instead with this Gryffindor stud," he said pointing at himself with a thumb and grinning quite proudly, teasing. But 'conceited' didn't look very good on Braeden, seeing as he was the least self-centered person in the planet. He just looked funny.

Zander sighed as he looked down at the bowls , he glanced upwards for the first time, Caroline in stitches as he expected, the elfs amazingly enough didnt seem to notice. He flick his wand extremely tentatively in the direction of the bowls and they all , surprisingly enough flew over to a nearby table and sat still. He turned his attention back to Caroline " that was your fault you know " the corners of his mouth twitched towards a smile .

My fault?" She said. how was in her fault. He was the one who said accio bowl, in a kitchen. She smiled at him to let him know that she was kidding. "Oh, No She ran to the oven, the cupcakes had been in way too long. She took them out sat them on the counter. She laughed at the blacken cupcakes.

He gazed from Caroline to the burnt cupcakes " hmm Caroline " .. he started as his a smile quickly formed on his face " remember when i asked if we were going to eat those , well ill pass " he walked over to the counter where the cupcakes where and leaned up against it " well you certainly did a great job of showing me how to make cupcakes " he teased, his sarcasm showing through again .

He took out his wand , a little apprehensively and flicked it in the direction of one of the cupcakes, it turned a bright blue colour , he glanced up at Caroline " trust me that is the only impressive thing i can do " he said laughing

Caroline stated at the burned cupcakes. Man, this reminded her of that time that she was making eggs sunny side up and put them in the window so the sun would cook it. She pushed him playfully again when he said that he would pass on the cupcakes. She stuck her tongue out at him when he said that she had really done a good job of showing him how to make cupcakes.

She watched his take his wand out. He looked apprehenive about using the wand. He flicked it at one of the cupcakes, as it turned a bright shade of blue. She laughed as he said that was the most impressive thing he could do She had an idea. She took one of the burned cupcakes. She grabbed a left over piece of broken bowl there was some icing on it. She stuck the cupcake down in the bowl fragment. pulling it out here was alot of icing on it. She took the cupcake and threw it at him. She hit his shoulder. she covered her mouth but giggled.

She must have an obsession with throwing things at him , snowballs , burned cupcakes .. the list is endles ... well two things. He sighed slighly as it hit her shoulder " what was that for ?!" he asked with a slight smile. Zander sat down at the table they first sat at, he assumed they would have to move on seems how they were no longer cooking anymore.

"When I'm older, I'll have to write a book about that," said Septimus. "Or maybe get a job in the Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry. I mean, if you want a law that sets elves free, why not just get a job working with the laws?"

"Thats probably one of the reasons why i like being a girl",Fee chuckled.Of course she was always hungry too but really,what girl could eat 24/7?!If she ate everything she wanted to the blonde would roll through the castle next time."Awww pooor best friend",the Slytherin smiled and patted her best friend's shoulder.

Shaking her head at Alexi the blonde laughed.Really,was he ever satisfied?Hehe."Maybe we should get some chocolate around it?",she winked.He probably would like it better then.Little sweets addict.Tehe. Just another thing the boy and the girl had in common.

Aww he would leave her one? Now that was sweet, seeing how much AllieAlex adored food and NEVER shared because he needed it all to fill his stomach."I am always nice",she wiggled her eyebrows,"arent i?"Ah come on best friend,be good to your Sparkles.

Chuckling at the sight of Alex' excited face about the white hot chocolate the Slytherin nodded."Of course there is",she said,"want to get one with me just right now?" Why did he whisper?Little,crazy boy.



Ohhh just a few moments and the cookies were done.Yaaaaay,Fee couldnt wait to taste them.They already looked sooo delicious.Hopefully Alex would leave some for the girls.Tehe.Waaaait, did her Gryffie friend here just say she had never tried hot white chocolate?!Oh.my.glitter.Eyes wide open the blonde smiled when Kurumi took some of her choclate to try. "Arent cookies sweet too?",the Slytherin giggled a little,"but tea is cool. I like tea, but only a few sorts."Some tea was soooo ewwwwwwww,but sweets were always yummy.Yeah Fee, have a debate on whats better in your head.






"I guess thats why some girls get along better with guys than others",Fee chuckled,"they just have more in common."Or the girl or the guy just knew how to flirt.Heeeh.He hadnt found a gir yet?Actually it was weird how some of them desperately wanted to find their special one and others didnt even care about it.Only showed the differences between people."You know sooner or later you will find your girl",she winked.

Laughing at Elliot making the tsk sound,the Slytherin giggled a little.He knew they were he was just to chicken to admit it.Hah."Cute yes",she winked. And nope the second years wasnt about to give up.They had to see it,seriously."
Fee nodded.Actually two brothers, but the blonde wasnt too good talking about Tom who died two years ago.


Awwwhe wanted to get a job at the ministry to help houselves? Now that was the cutes thing she had ever heard of."That sounds like a great idea",she nodded," i want to be an auror when i am an adult."The blonde had alwas dreamed of that and would do anything to make her dream come true.

Sebastian turned from the view of food towards a younger looking girl. "Help? Oh, no. Just lost...but apparently around here I'm found." He said, mentally smacking himself in the head.

WOW.

"Well that was ...how do you call it, 'cheesy'?" He said with a chuckle. Agh, his accent was coming back! "Anyways, I'm Sebastian." He nodded and looked towards the food again. Could he have some or not? Now that was the real question around here. Mwaha.

Having finally gotten down to a lower level floor, Evelyn really was going to head into the direction of the dungeons, however, she just...

Well, she changed direction. Obviously.

The way to the kitchens was rather etched into her brain, yet, she still found herself almost going in the wrong direction on a few occasions. Her mind was elsewhere, yet the sudden crave for a certain sweet was growing by the moment. Finally reaching the portrait, she reached up, tickled the pear, and entered the kitchen. Need...it...now.

"You!" she pointed to a random elf. "Chocolate. Now." Do it. OR ELSE!

Swallowing deeply, Evelyn glanced around, seeing that it was just her and the elves for the moment. Thank Merlin. Wiping away the few tears that managed to make it halfway down her cheek, she silently scolded herself for letting them fall in the first place. They shouldn't have fallen. It...it shouldn't have felt this bad.

Chocolate would make it all better. And that's what she did. Sat down on a stool...and started on one of the chocolate cupcakes that were laid out on a plate for her.

For once, Destiny had made her way down to the kitchens and had no intention of picking up a house elf by it's potato sack and demanding it to bring her chocolate. Not that she ever picked a house elf up by it's potato sack..ahem.

She was actually thinking of eating something healthy and as she arrived at the portrait, she knew what she wanted. A pear. It might have had something to do with the giant pear she had just tickled, but it was healthy and no one should question her motives. Once the portrait swung open, Destiny carefully and as quietly as she could stepped inside, turning her face slightly to watch the portrait shut behind her. A salute in the portrait's direction, she turned around, ready to grab the first elf she could get her hands on and demand a pear, when she noticed something that caused her to let out a long and silent gasp.

She could recognize the back of Evelyn's head anywhere. All the times she had flung herself in the opposite direction when she tried talking to her at night. The back of her head was practically etched into Destiny's head forever. And it wasn't the fact that her friend was sitting in the kitchen alone that caused her to gasp, it was what was sitting on a plate in front of her and what was being shoved into her mouth.

A cupcake.

A CHOCOLATE CUPCAKE!

Destiny could have dropped dead at that moment. But she didn't, of course. Once the shock set in somewhat, she slowly made her way over to her friend and sat down on the stool opposite her.

No words were spoken as she staaaaared at her friend long and hard before she too, picked up a cupcake and started to eat it.

Pear forgotten.

Taking one bite after the other, first starting small and then taking mouthfuls, Evelyn ate the cupcake until it was gone before picking up another, swiping a bit of the chocolate frosting off the top and licking it off her finger.

Boys...just...why must they be like this!?

She was so sure, that everything was perfect. EVERYTHING was perfect. But, she supposed Josh really was the master of everything. He can add acting and breaking hearts to his long list of 'mastery'. Mumbling all this to herself, she bit into the cupcake, she paused momentarily at the sudden presence behind her. That wasn't a house elf. Nor was it moving.

After a moment or so when nothing happened, Evelyn continued to eat the chocolate-y goodness that she oh so hated at the same time. Whoever it was, she dared them to say anything to her. Silently...dared them. Whether good or bad. Friend or enemy. Demon or...random angel like thing that fell from the heavens and needed advice about dragons. She was in no mood to speak. Perhaps after a few more chocolate stuffs she'll feel better.

However, finally whoever it was made themselves known. Not loudly or anything just...well it was fine. Spotting Destiny sit next to her out of the corner of her eye, she popped the last piece of cupcake in her mouth and picked up a third. Thank Merlin these weren't big. On the other hand...Destiny took one of her cupcakes! NUUU!

Snapping her fingers, she glared at the house elf she had first ordered when she walked into the room, and moments later, other chocolate-y goodness sweets started to fill the table. More cupcakes, cookies, fudge, brownies, ice cream, pie, pudding, cakes....

The brownies looked good. Time to switch.

"I dont know" She laughed. She was really bored and mad about the stupid burned cupcake. She was actullaly looking forward to a possible food fight that apparently wasn't going to happen. "Let's get out of here" she stood and walked to the door and stopped to wait on him

It wasn't that Destiny couldn't sense something was wrong with Evelyn, because she could. And it had nothing to do with her slightly red eyes, or the fact that she had just snapped her fingers at a house elf. No. Evelyn was eating chocolate. And that house elf she had just snapped at brought MORE of the stuff.

All in different forms.

After all those times of Evelyn yelling and fighting with her and even going as far as slapping the chocolate out of her hand, something had to be wrong for that same exact chocolate hating best friend of hers if she was eating it.

And being Destiny, she hadn't thought about her friend having any trouble with Josh because, quite frankly, she NEVER thought about Evelyn and Josh. Not in a relationship sense, that is. And really, it was hard enough keeping up with Marie and her relationship woes to even think about Evelyn and hers.

Finishing off the cupcake, Destiny eyed the other goodies set before them. Visions of herself walking through chocolate cookie fields, jumping into a chocolate pudding lake and skipping over chocolate pies flooded her head and it was hard for her to choose what to eat next.

If Evelyn didn't want to share, she would have said so, right?

Opting for the pudding, because REALLY! who in their right mind could resist jumping into a lake of pudding, she picked up a spoon and scooped some up.

"You forgot chocolate milk. Just sayin'."

Pulling the plate full of brownies closer to herself, she picked up a piece and bit off a small portion, savoring the taste since this was going to be the last time she ever did this. Ever. Good Merlin, how could something be so good, be so bad for you!?

Like Josh. Josh was like chocolate. He could be the sweetest and most wonderful, brilliant thing in the world, yet he can hurt you if one isn't careful like getting a stomach ache after eating too much chocolate. Why why why whyyyy....

Why must things start reminding her of him NOW?

Taking another bite of the brownie, Evelyn sniffled, the tears welling back up in her eyes again. Forget being strong at the moment, mustering up all the confidence and courage she could, or holding her head up high. She hurt, and she was going to finish these brownies! Because she could! And they were bloody good.

Hmm? Glancing towards Destiny, she swallowed the bite as she looked around the table, a scowl appearing on her face before shrugging her shoulders. "Then get some." Really now, she could've used her breath to tell that to the elf.

Something to wash all of this down was a good idea though. Chocolate milk only made it better.

She gave him a puzzled look before laughing. This guy did seem really lost. "Uh-huh.. You're silly." said the blonde smiling brightly. Oh dear..

She held out her hand towards him. "Nice to meet you Sebastian. I'm Emma. What year are you in?" she asked. Emma's eyes followed Sebastian's toward the food. She smiled. "I'm sure if you ask someone, you could defiently have some." she said kindly.
