Dozer finished chopping up the vegatable and was starting to peal the potatoes when movement caught his attention and he looked up. He was a little surprised to find Evelyn the sharp tongued Slytherin he had met earlier standing there.

Wow.

He was hit all over again with how pretty she was. Ummm.....I think I'm staring. Dozer grinned and shook himself a little. "Hey. I'm making omelets, hashbrowns, and toast. Want some?" He had pulled out a ton of food though he hadn't really noticed it until after he had everything pretty much chopped up but he had been planning on saving the extras for later.

Now however, sharing didn't seem like such a bad idea. "I-I've got plenty."

Omelets?

"Hi." she responded in the usual emotionless tone she used around him (well, in Charms class that is), slowing down to a stop as she made it to the cupboard. It took her a moment to realize that he was actually cooking! Without the help of the house elves.

Opening the door, she leaned against the door frame for a moment, continuing to look at him and the ingredients he had out. "Depends..." she finally said, going into the cupboard to get her container of tea mix from it's secret spot before shutting the door again. "Are you a good cook?"

Evelyn was rather picky with her food, and her food had to be edible before she ate it.

Her response made him chuckle and enabled him to release some of the tension in his body. He wasn't exactly sure when the tension had come on and he wasn't willing to look too closely at it either. "I'm a fairly descent one I think. But you'll just have to stick around and judge that for yourself."

After cutting the potatoes into small cubes he put them into a pan with some butter and set them on the stove. He hadn't failed to notice her pulling out a box of tea so he grabbed a kettle and filled it with water and set that on the stove as well.

"So, how was your first day of classes?" Dozer went to breaking eggs into a bowl for the omelets while keeping an eye on the cooking taters.

Well that was certainly a sneaky way to get her to stay and try the food. Letting a small smile grace her lips, she was just about to go get a kettle to fix the hot water but...he already did that. Definitely came as a surprise to her though...well she wasn't going to complain.

"Thank you." she forced out muttered, placing the container of tea mix down on the table before hopping herself up onto the counter. Not too close to where he was cooking, but close enough where she can keep an eye on what he was doing, and what he was using as ingredients. Free meal? Sure, why not. She needed to eat anyways before going on her evening run.

Hearing the questions, she once again waited for a few moments before shrugging her shoulders and started to swing her feet just a bit. "Thrilling." the word and how she said it were definitely opposites. "As you should probably know." Mmhmm, she had maybe taken a quick look at his card in Charms. Fifth year like her. Same classes, right? "But for the sake of conversation..." Since she didn't feel like sitting in silence at the moment. "How was your first day of classes?"

Hmm. She'd never really been asked that before. Surprisingly.

He almost laughed at the thank you she gave him. Almost. It sounded like she didn't say that too often. Keeping to his cool, calm demeanor Dozer shrugged like it was an everyday thing. He was just being a gentlemen after all. No big.

However, he couldn't keep the goofy grin that came to his face as she situated herself on the counter and settled in. She was watching him he realized. It made him pause for just a moment but then he reigned in whatever crazy feeling had made him stop and kept it cool.

Her comments helped to bring him back to reality, gave him something to focus on. She really didn't like to talk much either. "Not too bad. Ancient Runes had my head hurting by the end, never been one for it though. I prefer potions or herbology. More straight forward I think."

The whistling of the kettle had him grabbing two mugs from a cabinet. He poured water into both and pushed one her way. He grabbed a tea bag from the schools store and set it in his mug then poured in some honey. Grabbing two spoons he put on in his mug and then in hers.

The eggs were finally ready and the taters were coming along nicely. "So what do you care for in your omelet? Any allergies I should be aware of?"

"Not a fan of Ancient Runes." she chuckled quietly, nodding her head slightly as she shrugged her shoulders again. Well, it was a class you either liked or hated. There really wasn't an inbetween there. However, the mention of the subjects he did like, somewhat surprised her...honestly. "Potions? Really?"

Alright, so it was pretty much the easiest class in the school, but most kids didn't like it considering who the professor was. Evelyn on the other hand, was just starting to enjoy it again. "Herbology I can understand but, Professor Lafay doesn't make potions unbearable for you or anything?"

Feeling a bit more at ease with the conversation, his presence, and the fact that she might be eating what he was cooking in the very near future, the Slytherin girl watched as he got too glasses down, not having realized that the kettle was whistling until now. Oh, it was done! Having finally noticed that he had brought out two cups, she was just about to open her mouth to tell him she so was not sharing any when she noticed that he had gotten another tea bag instead. Well, okay then. Taking a spoon full of tea leaves from her container, she swirled them around gently in the hot water, watching the clear liquid turn from clear to a light warm honey brown.

"No allergies." she said, tapping the spoon ever so slightly on the top of the class to let any of the tea fall from the spoon and back into the cup. "And whatever you think will make it the best omelet ever." It better be the best omelet she had too. Omelets were not foreign to her unlike the food Patroclus had her try.

Elliot chuckled when he saw Fee was winking at him. "Sure. I'd love too." he said taking a seat next to Fee. "So how are you?" he asked. He hadn't seen her since..the feast? He saw Fee was holding a huge mug contained of hot chocolate "Enjoying a hot chocolate I see." he grinned. Then he saw an elf bring him sandwiches. Yum! It looked really delicious but then again he always thought all foods were delicious when he was hungry. "Want some?" he offered Fee.

"I am good",Fee smiled,"its sooo cool to br back."She hadnt seen him since the feast, well according to what she head heared Elliot and Freya gad been spending a lot of time together lately.Hehe."Its not only hot chocolate"the blonde shook her head,"its,whit hot chocolate."
That was a huge difference right?!"Ohhh sandwiches",the second year grinned"ordered them before?"Houseleves were soooo quick, a yaaay to them she cheered in her head taking a sandwich,.Ohhh delicious.

"Yeah if anything I would bet that corridor would be perfect for doing homework! That way it'll be productive waiting." Leave it to Ivory, to want to sit in a corridor and do homework.

Maybe they could get in some early reading too. One could never be to prepared. Maybe for transfiguration...

But on another note.....Ooooh gosh, she was full.

Patting her stomach, Ivory grinned at Arya. "Sleeping through dinner is the best," With a groan, she stretched out her arms. "I think you're going to have to roll me to the Charm's office. Or transfiguration. Wherever we're going. Rolling, that's probably the only way I'm getting there."

Dozer gave her a genuine smile at her questioning tone. It was the first one he had cracked in a while and it showed off his dimples. Gray eyes shining he nodded his head and laughed a little. "Professor Lafay can be a little difficult to deal with but I like potions too much to let it bother me. Most of the time I just tune her out anyway."

He gave a shrug like his lack of attention in class was the most normal thing in the world. He was positive that there were other students that did the same thing. "So what about you? What are your favorite classes?" He gave her a mock stern look and pointed his spatula at her menacingly. "And if you say charms it better not be because of the instructor." He lightened the tease with a wink and went back to his cooking.

No food allergies was a good thing, it meant there was nothing to hinder he palate. "Well, then I shall endeavor to cook the best omelet you have ever had." With quick, practiced, measured movements Dozer poured half of the eggs into a skillet and then added bell pepper, tomatoe, onions, ham, and mushrooms. Then he spoon a little bit of minched garlic and topped the whole thing off with a bit of salt.

Letting the egg cook some before he folded it over, Dozer checked on the taters which were coming alone nicely. Taking out several pieces of bread he popped them into the toaster. "Is there anything else you like to go along with your omelet?" Toast and potatoes were pretty much a given in his family but she might have other preferences.

"Doing homework, having a picnic, probably doing a bit of skating as well." She listed off a few more things that could be added to the list, and keeping them in a file in her mind. She WOULD be doing these things while waiting for the woman.

Probably finish that book she'd found in the library as well.

Taking a sip of her pumpkin juice, she nodded at Ivory in agreement to her former statement. "I don't know if I can roll you....might need someone to roll me." She pretended to look around for someone, giggling. "Think we'll need to find someone to roll us around."

Kay walked into the kitchens. She really had to start eating in the great hall. She was never on time to eat. Walking over to one of the tables she sat down and looked for and elf.

See, now why couldn't everyone do that during potions? Sure, she may find it funny watching other people be terrified of the woman, and she herself had a only few moments now where she wished she wasn’t anywhere near her, but it’d just make the class so much easier. "I suppose it's for the best of wizardkind to do that." She chuckled, picking up her cup of tea and holding it in her hands to warm them up.

Raising a brow at the look he gave her, she definitely could help the laugh that escaped her as he continued on…which explained the look. "Charms is in fact one of them." Hmm, she was telling things to a Ravenclaw? "Though not because of the instructor. All those whispers and giggles about him are getting to be quite annoying." Besides, her moment of giggles over him ended the night of the feast. "Charms, defense against the dark arts, arithmancy, care of magical creatures, and Herbology."

Nodding slowly, she looked down to her cup of tea, staring at the steam emitting from the honey colored liquid before a sly little smile graced her lips as she glanced back over to Dozer. "Only to name a few of course." Taking a quick sip of her tea, she sat in silence as she watched the food cook, just...enjoying the moment. Perhaps Marie had the right idea of meeting Ravenclaws. Some of them weren't that bad.

Before she knew it though, the Ravenclaw's voice broke her out of thought. "No, I'm not really..." ...that hungry. But it smelled rather good. "Just the omelet is fine. Thank you."

Wizard kind eh? He supposed that was an okay reaction for her to have after what happened in Potions. It had been an odd thing for Professor Lafay to get upset about but there were some weird people in this world. At first he had thought it was a Slytherin thing but he had met several of them and none of them had reacted like that.

Shrugging Dozer listened as she named her favorite classes. All except one he could relate to. Arithmancy was the bane of his very existence. He had been dreading that class and it had been everything he had been dreading. At least it was over and he wouldn't have to deal with it again for a while.

Satisfied that both omelets were done to perfection and that the taters were ready as well, Dozer grabbed two plates from the counter next to him. He filled up both plates equally and then shut off the stove. Grabbing one of the plates he handed it to Evelyn along with a fork.

"There's ketchup behind you one the counter and salsa as well. Enjoy." Reaching for said salsa, he smothered his own omelet in the red sauce and then took a bite. Delicious. Then his eyes went to Evelyn and his eyebrows raised in question.

"Tell me what you think and don't hold back."

Eirian walked into the kitchen and sat down. There was already a low level of conversation in the room, so it seemed that the place had been hit up. Even if she was going to talk to Thi seriously, she didn't mind. People didn't matter. Only her and Jay did... So, walking to the stoves, she began to commandeer them herself in the quest of making some sarapatel and some sweet coconut bread. Eiri was never too good at cooking, so the attempt would most-likely fail. But all the same, she wanted to try to cook for her love. Perhaps something interesting would come from her fail?

One hand went to light the stove while the others searched for lamb and the proper seasonings for her dish. Eirian didn't have as much as a gameplan as she thought... Perhaps she'd make something simpler... But that coconut bread sure sounded good. Merlin, her mouth was already watering ever so slightly. Food was always the best distraction from misery and dread...

Looking around dramatically, Ivory shook her head dejectedly. "I guess we'll have to waddle over there since I don't see any takers."

Her shoulders heaved with an exaggerated large sigh of disappointment.

Grinning she hopped out of her stool, and continued to rub her full stomach.
" Thank you Fifi, Poppy, JoJo. Dinner was great. As always."

They really were spectacular cooks. Really.

Giving them a little wave, she turned to her best friend. "So what floor to first?"

"I couldn't agree more with you." Elliot said. He definitely glad to be back to Hogwarts. "Whit hot chocolate?" he raised his eyebrows. "Was there any different with the usual hot chocolate?" to him it was just the same. Hmm..maybe it was different. "Yup. I was hungry so I asked the house elves some foods and they made me this." he pointed to the sandwiches. "I couldn't believe that I was afraid to house elves when I was a little." he chuckled. If he knew that the house elves could make the foods really quickly he would definitely loved them back then.

Fee chuckled when she saw the expression on Elliot's face about thw white hot chocolate."Well it tastes different",she nodded moving her mug in front of her friend,"try it."Normal hot chocolate was good but white hot chocolate was her fave.,Sooo delicious.

"You were afraid of houselves when you were little ?",the Slytherin asked.That was definitely totally cute and awwie material.Little Elliot fearing the more little houselves.Hehe."I suppose you had some at home then?"The blonde herself had always played wit them when she was little.Sooo cool.

Joey walked in hello dinkey she said with a smile.joey starts making cheese ball and someone walks in.

Arya nodded head solemnly, eyes twinkling. "Guess we'll have to waddle, but we'll make it cool. Like the ducks do." A grin spread across her face.

Sliding off of her stool, she thanked the house elves as well, wishing she could give them some sort of payment as a thank you, but knowing they would just take that as an insult, she settled with the verbal gratitude.

Looping her arm through Ivory's she led the way out of the kitchens, "I think at trip to Kingsley's old office should be first." Then they could do charms.

Taking another sip of her tea, her gaze flickered back and forth to the cooking food and to Dozer. He...kinda reminded her of Patroclus. Sweet, a gentlemen, and probably an amazing cook as well. She hadn't tasted the food yet, but it did smell good.

Which, she was not admitting to yet. At least not out loud.

Before she knew it though, she was being handed a plate full of food. Eep! Bringing herself back to reality, she placed her cup of tea down and took the plate, smiling at Dozer in thanks. Well, the food didn't look too poisoned bad. "Oh, right." she nodded, glancing behind to the ketchup and salsa. Not a big fan of either of those.

Watching him take the first bite though, she slowly picked up the fork, noticing he wasn't dropping down choking or anything as of yet. He wouldn't poison himself. Ha!

...

Right, she had to eat the food. Manners and all. Cutting a small piece off of the omelet with the fork, the Slytherin glanced up to the Ravenclaw for a moment before taking the bite. Cheeeeww. It...it was pretty good actually. "Not bad, Chef Flint." she shrugged before taking another bite. Hehe. Alright, she was smiling, so it was pretty darn good.

'Huh?Different?' Elliot raised his eyebrows a bit. "But they still chocolate,right?" for someone who like foods he was really has no idea there's a different between the white and the usual hot chocolate. Then Fee offered him her white hot chocolate. "Okay then bottom up." he took a few sip from Fee mug. "Umm..Yeah. It's taste different." he said. It tastes so much better. Wondered why he never think about white hot chocolate earlier? "Thanks Fee." he moved Fee mug back in front of her.

He laughed when Fee asking him about his earlier confession. "Yeah. They are really weird and they crept me out when I was a little." Not to mention they always popped in and out inside the house this made him freak out sometime. "Yeah I had some back home." he nodded his head and took a bite from his sandwich. They are really come in handy when he was not afraid to them anymore. "How about you?Do you have house elves?" he asked.

Anna tickled the pear and walked into the kitchens. Shiny pots were every as were stoves and work spaces. The Pantry and shelves over flowed. She often mad dinner at home Why not make her own snack at Hogwarts? She didn't want to get lazy after all. She picked out a Skillet and put it on a stove and put on a temperature and got the materials for a grilled cheese. She put the grilled cheese on and waited for it to be ready. Looking around she realized she wasn't the only student in here. She smiled to a passerby.

Ronnie was excited for this. She thought Preston we a really cool kid and they were going to have some super fun tonight! She followed him slowly to the kitchens haning back a little so she didn't run right into him. They walked slowly and Ronnie watched as Preston went into the kitchen first.

She followed in right behind, and didn't realize he had stopped a little closer to the door, she full out ran into him and feel down herself. She didn't have time to stop herself let alone stop Preston.

Preston was about to turn around to see if Ronnie had came in the kitchen door behind him and he hadn't known. It was then, that he came in contact with something, or someone and he was knocked down to the floor of the kitchen. The flashlight in his hand fell from his hand and landed on the floor where it bounced and rolled away under a table that Preston could make the outline out of in the darkness of the night.

"Y-you o-okay?" Preston asked quietly in the dark, assuming it was Ronnie he had run into.
