A brave face. That was all she needed to do. Look like she was happy and enjoying herself for the new students. She took a deep breath and created a most certainly fake, but realistic looking smile.

Maybe she should introduce herself to everyone? Thats what Ketchup *Smirk* had done last term and well.. Those Gryffindors probably loved her. Bleeeh. But talking to all the first years, in fact, to everyone new, sounded like a good plan to her. So that was what she would do. Well, here goes nothing really...

The first two people the Snake had seen were, what appeared to be two new students sat down reasonably near her. The Blonde gave them a smile as she looked over at them. "Hello, welcome to Slytherin.." Oh gawd what if they already went here and she just didn't know them? "Or welcome back...?" she stated almost questioningly. "I'm Trixie Malfoy, Head Girl" she peeked down at her badge displayed proudly on her chest and held her hand out for a formal handshake, even though she felt stupid doing it. It wasn't something she was used to, but it just looked good for first appearances right?

Why did she have a feeling she knew this boy?

*Blink*

OH MY GOSH! It was that boy that kept on.. well staring at her in Diagon Alley. The one that was lost for words. "Hey Leo" the Seventeen year old winked at the fifth year as she tried to get his attention. "See you've joined the best house then.." she looked down the table and then back up to the younger student. "You do remember me right?" How embarrassing would it be if he didn't? "Trixie. Although back then I didn't have the badge.." she pointed at the shiny thing on her robes and grinned like a Cheshire cat, even though she was incredibly nervous within.

Oh OH!

There was the girl that held the giant hide and seek game at the treehouse. HAHA that had been so fun, but Trix hadn't seen the girl at all last term, she must have disappeared or something. But what was her name? Fallon? That was right wasn't it? "Hey Fallon" she smiled across the table at her. "Welcome back. I'm pretty certain the last time I saw you, we were hiding away in trees" she giggled.

Ah good times weren't they?

Encouraging smiles?

She liked those. They made her feel slightly better, and that was what she needed to do right now. Put on a very brave face and look as if there was absolutely nothing wrong. The Blonde smiled back, though no where near as bright as the prefects had been.

"Be cheerful?" she questioned. "Well thats a challenge in itself isn't it?" she gulped and then managed another, genuine albeit weak smile. "I think I'll just introduce myself to everyone then, make them feel welcome here yes?" And being Head Girl, did that mean she had to go talk to people on every single table. Well, she could be here quite some time then.

Woah. Did she just say the name she thought she had said. The O word. Her head nodded weakly in response to the question. "Like crazy" she answered, her voice as quiet as Iris' had been, a sorrowful look clear in her eyes as she sniffed and raised her head. But all this, you can talk to me business was really sweet, she did need someone she could talk to, and it was probably better that they'd be female. "Thanks. I'll certainly remember that, probably going to need it" she looked straight at the other Slytherin and even produced an honest smile.

And then along came another arrival, a new student by the looks of it. The Head Girl produced another one of her fake but realistic smiles as she looked at him. "Hey. Welcome to Slytherin, the best house if you ask the Head Girls opinion" she winked. It was a better way then just constantly stating, I'm Head Girl like she'd probably find herself doing. "I'm Trixie Malfoy" her teeth flashed as shiny as her badge.

Fee turned her head to see who was coming up to the Slytherin table.She really hadnt paid much attention to who got sorted where because she was so tempted to find her best friend.And than she saw him.Approaching the Slythie's table.Jumping from her seat she ran to him."Alleeeeeexx",the blonde squealed.Oh my god, her wished had come true.

The little blonde really couldnt believe they were together now, like really.Same house, same common room.Oh my god they parties would be more than amazing."I knew you would get sorted into Slytherin",she smiled still hugging him.


Fee smiled at Leo friendly and took the seat right next to him.He seemed to be a little nervous but who could blame him.The first time at Hogwarts was really exciting and everything felt soo new.And why did he cough at the end of that sentence? Mhhh... Well she had neough time to figure him out now.

"Oh yes i did", the blonde nodded still smiling,"what about you? Already made some friends during the ride?"It was much easier to start of sometjhing new when you had someone by your side to help you when there were questions or you just felt alone.


Taking a cup of pumpkin juice the Slytherin listened to what the headmaster was talking about.The start of term fast was really beautiful and almost the best time around."You are a transfer right?",the Slytherin asked turning her head to Leo again.

Jamie looked up at yet another person and she smiled. So many new people. "Welcome. I'm a first year," she said noting the way Trixie seemed unsure about it. "And thank you. I'm Jamie." She spotted the cool looking badge and made a note to herself. This girl had authority.

Cookies? ....this was a box with cookies?

Hyun stared from the box to the girl to the box and to the girl again. Was she playing with him? Why would anyone give cookies? It was so cute and sweet that it made Hyun feel sick. Nodding his head just to be polite he placed his wand back in his holster.

Well, it was for free and Hyun was getting hungry, so why not? He picked a cookie from the package and took a bite.


Just as he had taken a bite from the deliscious cookie that did tasted like chocolate and mint to his surprise, Hyun looked up as Alex walked towards him and the girl he assumed was called Kurumi. Rolling his eyes at what he said Hyun swallowed the cookie. "Yah, it could be! What if she just pretended to be nice and gave the cookies just to make us Slytherin's sick. She's clearly not a Snake" he said, pointing at the lion badge on her robe.

Cass entered the great hall and looked around. Nothing had changed much since last term. Not that she had expected anything to change...

She headed for the Slytherin table and sat down and sighed. Her friends were taking sooo long

Fallon smiled at her best friend. "Thanks." She looked around the Great Hall. She heard her stomach start to grumble. Those Chocolate Frogs she'd eaten on the train were long gone at this point. It was still really empty though. She hoped everyone hurried their butts to the feast soon. Or everyone would have a very hungry angry Fallon.

Fallon turned to the girl that was sitting with Iris. Darn it. The girl remembered her name. That means Fallon would look really horrible because she couldn't remember hers. She thought it began with a T. But there were so many names that began with a T! Then she caught her saying her name to someone else.

"Hey Trixie!" Hooray for nearby introductions. Fallon giggled. So that was where she knew the girl from. That epic hide-n-seek game they had during fourth year. That game was going to have to make a comeback at some point. "Yeah that sounds about right." Now she wanted to play hide-n-seek again. "So how've you been, Head Girl?" She had spotted the badge as she spoke.

Luke made his way towards his house table. His first feast! He was excited and worried at the same time. Hmm where to sit? He found and empty seat and sat down. Woot Woot! He wondered if school would be any interesting. His parents use to tell him about all the classes they took. Most seemed to be interesting.

Lucie was glad to FINALLY be at Hogwarts! Jeez that ride here was a killer on her back and she was glad to be off it. The blonde fixed her robes and made her way to the Slytherin table. Hehehe SHE WAS A SNAKIE! She had just been sorted and couldn't be more happy! Hmm...now where was that Nathan kid... she had seen him get sorted too.

She took a seat at the table and figured she'd wait to see if she could spot him. Ughh she was starved! The feast had better be starting soon and hopefully the food was good or else she'd be disappointed. Speaking of which, where was Elliot?! She turned and looked around for him.

Sitting there next to Alex and Leo Fee spotted her bestie Cass at the table too.Waving at her she signalized her to come over."Hey deary",the blonde smiled widely,"feels good to be back huh?"

Iris grinned at Trixie's reply. "Well... yeah, it is a bit..." She looked at the girl. Introduce herself to everyone? She DID know how many kids were in this house, right? ... A lot. "Um. Okay, sure. Whatever you think will help."

She sighed. Iris didn't like seeing people upset. Especially when it's about other people. As she said she'd remember it, Iris smiled. She was determined to help Trixie cheer up, before Christmas. "Good." She watched as the Head Girl greeted everyone as they found a seat at the table.

It would be funny in itself to see how long it'd go on for...


Iris grinned at Fallon. "No problem!" The prefect looked to the door, watching the people who were filing into the Great Hall. Leaving Trixie and Fallon to talk, she let her mind wander for a while.

She wanted Aaron to hurry up and get in here... She wanted to talk to him about something important. Iris guessed that talking to him in private was a better idea though. That didn't matter though, she still wanted him to hurry his Quidditch Captain butt up, before the seat next to her was taken.

"Fallon. I just realised something." She said, suddenly. The thought didn't even have anything to do with what she was thinking of, either. "We both come of Age this year." She looked between Trixie and Fallon very seriously. "You know what that means, right?"

Fallon better get this right, or Iris might think that it's not really Fallon at all, but an imposter.

Selena shrugged and finished the cookie, wishing she had grabbed a few more. She picked Kent off of her head and placed the purple Pygmy puff on the table. "I was close," she pointed out, "It's only two letters off, and at least it isn't a girl name this time," she replied with a bit of a smirk. She opened her bag and pulled out a chocolate bar. Because she was going to have to get through the sorting somehow right. Then she realized something.

"You're sitting at the Slytherin table," she said aloud. WHY WAS HE SITTING AT THE SLYTHERIN TABLE?!

Zoey continued to glance up and down the table as more and more people arrived. Holy cow, this place was huge. Like, beyond huge. She was more than likely going to get lost or somebody was going to bump into her and she was gonna go all jumpy Kung Fu on them and then she'd get expelled and sent home... Actually, now that she thought about it, that sounded like a really good idea.

However, it was more than likely that she would get sent to Aunt Maggie's, not home. Ugh.

She continued to observe as groups of people conversed and one girl was walking around with a box of cookies and there was a group of older Slytherins near her wearing shiny badges. Maybe those were the prefect people? ... Yeah, she still wasn't too clear on that either. They obviously got shiny badges though.

They must be important, only important people wear shiny stuff.

Uh-huh...oh yeah!

Simon proudly strutted over to the table of the house he belonged in. The Sorting Hat made a very wise choice in placing him in Slytherin. He took a seat and looked around.

What? No food.

His stomach grumbled and the boy wished he had bought more chocolate frogs. Still, the excitement surpassed his hunger. He just couldn't believe that he was finally here, at Hogwarts.

Oh sweet Merlin, life was good.

Damian took a deep breath once more and closed her eyes. When she opened them, nothing changed... well, on the outside at least. In the inside - Slytherin blood and anger started to build up. The show time was about to start.

The train ride was painfully boring. His nasty little house elf wasn't there to massage his feet even. OH THE HORROR. Needless to say, Lamar Woolfe (yes, the second year Slytherin) was beyond displeased as he sauntered into the Great Hall.

His steely eyes scanned the room for his 'friends', but, they could not be found. Fine by him.

Eying the Prefect for a moment (and only a moment, because that was all she really deserved), he frowned, then sat down. Did they just give badges to anyone these days? Maybe a monkey would be a prefect next term. His sinister dimple appeared as his lips formed into a grin. Hah. That would be EH-PIC.

Anyways... the Slytherin sipped at his Goblet as if to fill in the time. He just wanted to be in the common room. Maybe terrorize the house elves later.

"Nice to meet you Tyronne. Nice to meet you Jamie. The class I'll be worst at, when I get there, will probably be, hmmm, nevermind. I think I'll catch on to any class I happen to take."

He laughed out loud,and took a small bite of his turkey breast.

Alex smiled widely at his best friend and chuckled when she hugged him. She was the cutest, yes she was oh yes she was. "Common Room times!" he laughed hugging her back.

"Isn't it pretty? All pretty? So purrety!" he cried out pointing to his Slytherin badge like a mad man.

Alex grinned and shook his head. "You really have to get those suspicious thoughts out of your head." Durmstrang students were a bit odd... Yeah... "No she's not, she's Kurumi." he had only met her once but still she was a friend to... Like all of his friends. "And she wouldn't do that, if you were smart you'd get to know her a bit better because she makes the best cookies in Hogwarts." he chuckled. Yup, true story.

Seeing his cousin enter the Great Hall he grinned widely and walked up to her. "Surprised are you?" he chuckled showing off his badge. Oh how he loved showing off that badge.

"Yeah you're getting closer." Alex admitted, and it wasn't a girl's name, small favours.

He raised his eyebrows at her and nodded his head. "Well spotted." Late but still. "So?" He was sorted in Slytherin. *proud*

Katie hid away alone at the end of the table, she wondered if the food would come early this year, anyway Katie should start thinking about what was happening to her, she sighed as she remembered what happened, fainted and dizzy.

WHAT WAS HAPPENING?!?!

She put her head down on the table and sighed She wasn't feeling good, maybe she should see the nurse? Wait, not a good idea, maybe tomorrow. Katie looked down at the floor, nice clean floor.

Jamie took another gulp from her cup and smirked,"You sound pretty confidant in yourself." She laughed at the attempt to be more...cunning? Reminder to self look up word cunning.

Cass looked up and saw Fee waving at her.

Finally.

Cass stood up from her seat and headed over to where Fee was. "Yeah. I really missed this place." She said after she hugged the blonde

Cass rolled her eyes and stuck out her tongue at him "Nope, not really. Only awesome people get into Slytherin, and with you being related to me, its likely that you would fall under that category."

Leo's eyes averted away from Feenella, his hands still in the pockets of his robe. There was someone else coming, another boy....a boy who looked almost EXACTLY like him.

Leopold just kind sat there staring at the other boy trying to figure out if he wasn't real, if he was just a part of his imagination cause this kid looked EXACTLY like him.

He wanted to go back home to his dog, his mom and his video hames. THAT was what Leopold O'Donald wanted to not be social like....this. He wanted to go home. :'(

Realizing he probably looked like a big scared baby right now, Leopold sent Feenella a smile nodding at...whatever she was trying to say. Silly boy wasn't even paying ATTENTION. Tsk. Tsk."Yeah....yeah..."He answered, STILL not sure of that question. Probably wasn't anything important,right? RIGHT. hopefully His brown eyes watched her, this time attempting to pay more attention to her as he spoke. The poor boy had the attention span of a dang gold fish, one of his bad traits. Meh. Whateverr. MADE FRIENDS DURING THE RIDE? Leopold shrugged, answering honestly. "I...sat with my best friend from Beauxbatons...er..Fre...Chandler."Nope Leopold, don't say your best friend's name is French Fry. Goodness.

Watching her take a drink of the weird smelling juice stuff, Leopold followed her actions, nodding. A calm expression rested on his face until.....EW.

Leo didn't LIKE pumpkin and it defiantly just showed....considering he spit it out...all over himself as well as probably other students.

"Uhm..I..uh..."He tried answering his question, looking around all nervoudly."I uh, yeah transfer. I uh..went to Beauxbatons I'm from Greece but I'm like American....but like my mom's Greek."Oh no he was making a FOOL of himself.

TRIXIE MALFOY?! O___O As in, the pretty seventh year who showed a bit of KINDESS towards him in Diagon Alley? Oh poop, he was sure his face was as red as a tomato, in fact he KNEW it was. He wanted to look HIP in front of his fellow students and even if front of the LADIES like Trixie Malfoy and here was, totally ruining it because he didn't like the taste of PUMPKINS.

Leopold wanted to crawl under the table and cry, HE WASN'T GOING TO SHOW IT THOUGH! He wasn't going to ALLOW himself to. Smiling a nervous smile at her, Leopold nodded. HE was attempting to shove off his little spitting out the pumpkin juice incident. He was apart of the best house? Was SHE in this house? Obviously if she was wearing the same color of robes as him. "Uhm..yeah, only cause like...YOUR in it..."In fact, he probably RUINED the general awesomeness of this house. Shame.

Remember her? Leo let out a weak chuckle, still looking like a deer in head lights. "Uhm..I couldn't forget you..."He mumbled, looking up at her. Oh goodness, he sounded SO lame. Torin really did need to give him lady lessons, he REALLY did. New badge? Leo's eyes adverted to the badge, eying it. "Whats the badge do?A cool trick?"

He kept on eying it, hoping it would change colors or something.

Meredith walked to the Slytherin table. Yes, walked not skipped liked she normally does. She was just a little sad to be in Slytherin. I'm sure i'll get use to bit, but she was still a tad disappointed. She didn't want to be stereotype casted as a slytherin. She was thinking she might be one, but she was hoping she wasnt. You see, her mom was a slytherin but her dad was a gyrffindor. She sat down and sighed. She just hoped people would see her as her naturally bubbly self, not somebody else

Luke looked towards the end of the table. He spotted Katie. He stood and walked towards her. "Hey Katie." He smiled as he sat. Then he noticed her head on the table. "Luff, what's wrong?"

"H-H-H-Hello," Kurumi mumbled bowing slightly to the new girl. She had seen her around, or at least thought she had, but the two had never really talked before.
"Hello Alex," Kurumi blushed feeling a little better that there was someone familiar at the Slytherin table at the moment. She could still feel the burning sensation in the back of her head though. "My summer was alright. Adam came to visit for a bit, but I couldn't wait to get out of Japan and back in London."
"S-S-S-Sorry," Kurumi whispered with panic written all over her face. She didn't have any reason to make a Slytherin go boom, but she supposed there were others that did - especially with Quidditch picking up again this year. "I-I-I just really e-e-enjoy baking..." She bowed several times in apology. "I'm in Gryffindor," she said in response to his statement about her clearly not being a Slytherin. "My name is Kurumi." And some more bowing for good measure.

Elektra had walked in looking amazed at all the people from Slytherin inside. She managed to stop her mouth from dropping to the ground and looking like an idiot and looked around for a seat and sat down and ran her fingers through her black eyes. Her emerald gren eyes peered around the room as she watched Slytherins around her having converstations and all she could do was just smirk and sit back. She knew that she was going to enjoy being in the Slytherin house. Oh yeah...she already knew.
