Alicia had never met this girl before. She actually kind of liked talking to strangers. Plus, they both were Gryffindor, so why not say hi, she thought.

"Hi there!" She greeted her randomly and smiled. "I'm Alicia. Alicia Weasley. First year." She introduced herself friendlily and added, "Nice to meet you!"

" She xcares a lot of students" Rex told Heather." I bet you would be a great teacher" Rex said to Heather. " Very good point about sneering and niceness" Rex smiled. "So how did you like Ancient runes class?" Rex asked Heather.

" I know that song, it is "Mamma mia" by Abba" Rex told the girl. " My name is Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself to her. "So you are going ti be a singer after HogWarts?" Rex asked her.

"Cool. And yeah, the keeper is just like a goalie... only on a broom!" she laughed.
Emily looked down at the many books she had checked out.
"Have you explored much of the school yet?" she asked curiously. She already had, but wanted to know if she had missed anything.

He was mocking her punching skills. She would have really hit him if he hadn't taken the camera to the fireplace, but as it was, he had. And then he held up the camera in his hands, completely out of her reach. Well, not completely.
Ruby might have been shorter then him, but she could certainly jump pretty high as she was above the average height of a girl. And jump she did, her hands grasping the camera for a second but not completely securing it. " Give it baaaack!" She yelled, her face turning the same shade of red as her hair.
He was making his towards the portrait hole but she couldn't let him get away. Hands still tightened around his waist, Ruby twisted herself so she was in front of him now, and trying to snatch the camera from Marshmallow. Ignoring his yells of "Ge'roff!", she made a growl that quite scared her, actually, and then she was seeing lights. For a moment, her grip on him and the camera slipped slightly as she tried to figure out where the bright light was coming from. But then, she realized what it was. The stupid idiot was taking pictures of the whole, messy scene, without realizing it.
"STOPPIT, YOU'RE WASTING MY FILM!" Ruby screeched, her voice becoming hoarse with yelling. Not to mention the bright lights were blinding everyone in the room, including the two of them, which made it harder for Ruby to see where they were heading. However, she kept her firm grip on her beloved camera.
And now he was threatening to throw her camera out of the window?! OH. MY. GOD. Ruby froze, her eyes as huge as his were when she has accused him of hitting her earlier.
"You wouldn't," She whispered dangerously, her eyes still huge. If he threw it, she make sure the rest of his life was the most miserable EVER. And she'd keep him on a diet of marshmallows for the rest of his life, too.
Out of breath, Ruby thought quickly. She couldn't make it seem like he had overpowered her by giving him, but then again, she simply couldn't have her camera thrown out of the window--they were on the seventh floor!!
So she relaxed her grip on her camera but still hanging on to it, she said,
"Okay, okay, FINE! Just STOP! We can...we can sort this out."
She looked around the room, trying to edge him away from the windows.
"You want me to apologize? Fine, I'll apologize. ...I'm sorry," She said, and in her head she added, 'that you're such a stupid idiot.'
"Are we good now?" she asked him calmly, hoping he had forgot about her 'letting go' as well. There was no way she was gonna let go, not unless the camera came with her.

Nika started to look around for her shoes, but she herself always misplaced things and had trouble trying to find them too. "Actually I haven't been to the library yet. I've been meaning to go, but I just haven't for some reason. I would love to go there!" It was hard for Nika to contain her enthusiasm because as much as it made her sound like a nerd for saying it, she loved the library. In her old school her library was practically her best friend. "Everyone has told me how beautiful it is there.


"I hope I can keep up with the class. Right now I find it a bit confusing, but I am sure I will get the hang of things. Nika blushed she has never gotten such compliments before. "Thanks Rex, I hope I can do well. It's nice to know that I have a friend to help encourage me along the way." Nika was running out of things to say. Hmmm, what to talk about next? "So in Hogwarts do you have some sort of final exam or something at the end of the year for classes?"

Nika laughed too, "This term I want to focus on my studies, but next term I will try out!"Nika paused to think for a moment, Am I repeating myself? She had talked about the topic a lot and she couldn't' remember what she said and to who. "I haven't really had the chance to go explore yet." Nika said sadly. "I love exploring and having adventures so it's a pity that I haven't had the chance to look around. I have been to the lake and the courtyard" Nika thought and then added, "And maybe a corridor or two along the way, but that is really it."
"Have you explored the castle yet?" Nika asked curiously, Nika wasn't the trouble maker type, but she did love, herself some good adventures.

"Oh yeah!" Emily grinned "My sister's described this place in so much detail I feel like I already know this place top to bottom!"
She twirled her hair round her finger as she spoke.
"My favourite place by far was the library! I love to read... as you might have guessed!" she smiled, glancing down at all the books she'd checked out.

" You are doing good in classes" Rex told Nika. " I like competetion" Rex said to Nika."We have finald usually based on what the teachers taught us over the term" Rex explained to Nika. Now at the end of your sixth and seventh terms, you can take N.E.W.T.S. and O.W L.S " Rex smiled.

"I think I would like the library too! I love to read as well! I never had too many friends at my old school and so the library was were I spent most of my time. And now that I am in a wizarding school I bet there are thousands of different books out there waiting for me to read them! Nika said excitedly. "What kinds of books did you check out to read? I only know of muggle books, but I'm sure that they will have a lot of interesting books in the library that I haven't ever heard of."

"So Rex how was your summer holiday?" Nika said changing the subject. She knew it was a sort of abrupt turn, but she couldn't bare talking about school any longer. "What sort of things did you do?"

"Hello, Al --How are you, long time no see, hows the matter with you", Raven excitedly say. He is happy, very happy, his friend is back "how could be, he is happy like this" Raven thought

"Wha-- I don't even know how I'm doing it!" replied a completely bewildered Braeden as the girl screeched about him wasting her film (officially leaving his left ear deaf). He honestly had no intention of wasting her film, but… he couldn't hold the camera right with her jumping around and holding it too! For all he knew, she was probably the one pressing the wrong button! And blaming it on him. Pshh. How rude.

And then, suddenly, all grew quiet as she stopped yelling and whispered dangerously instead. In all honesty, the tone of her voice and the colour of her face (which now matched her Lioness mane) had the boy ready to crawl to the nearest corner and cry like a baby. But he wouldn't. He simply could not give in and let the Evil Lioness win; if she wanted her camera back, she'd have to apologize and make Brae feel all nice and sweet again.

Braeden rose a dark eyebrow questioningly at the redhead as she asked him to stop, suggesting that they could sort this out. Before he could ask how she planned to 'sort this out', the Lioness was… apologizing? Braeden's brown eyes widened. Was he imagining things? Did she honestly just apologize? My oh, my. They were making progress already.

But that wasn't enough.

"Hmm. Not quite," muttered Braeden, still holding the camera firmly and high in the air. He wasn't going to give it up just yet. "You're going to need more than an apology if you want me to give this back to you," he said. "I want a new bag of marshmallows - coloured blue and shaped like planets - and… a picture of you." He smirked, pulling out his wand. The boy then made his way over to the nearest table carefully (making sure not to let go of the camera or lower it, but slowed down considerably by the Lioness still attached to his waist) and conjured up a piece of parchment. He leaned over and scribbled something on it with a quill that conveniently happened to be there and then handed the parchment to the Evil Lioness - it read, 'Braeden Stonem is the most fascinating, brave, and charming Gryffindor in all of Hogwarts; and for that, I _(the Lioness was to sign her name here)_, worship him as my idol.'

"Holding this," Braeden clarified as he gave the parchment to the redhead. "Now, go on. Pose by the window, I'll take the picture, and the camera's aaaallll yours." He flashed her one of his innocent, lopsided grins.

"From the moment? You must think I got some higher power or something- the ability to help out citizens of this country."Adam said with a smirk

"You won't outfly me - I assure you that...Though not much of it I got, practice I did over the summer."He told her with a point.

"I guess - I said opposites attract so I was trying to give that a chance.I didn't actually, how I acted on the train is how I acted with her sometimes at school last term, hiding from her whenever she was nearby."It had been a beyond crazy roller coaster ride and surely enough he had survived it somehow.

Adam listened. The girl was bright and cheerful even though she didn't see her parents much. To come out the way she did, well it was something like how Adam had, so he admired her for staying so strong during such a weak and important time of her life with her parents.

"Well- When I got my letter from Hogwarts my parents- although one of the teacher came from Hogwarts to my house-they never told me.I was at football practice so they kept the whole thing hidden all year.Last summer- so going into 2nd year - I found the letter locked up in a box my mom keeps her money in.

I showed it to them and they couldn't find a way to keep me out- though they did their best all summer to keep me away, I finally forced my parents...With my wand- I just pointed it at them and that was enough for them to call me a freak and send me here.

Which I wanted- just not being called a freak.

There's my story."He said with a slight shrug. Not even Kurumi knew he had threatned, forced his parents into letting him into Hogwarts.

"Thank you." Heather said. She had never thought of herself as a teacher before. "Um, it's very interesting. Definitely a step up from English class in the muggle world. I like translating them the most, thought. It's like a puzzle."

Nika turned around and saw Heather. A smile appeared on her face. "Hey, Heather! What's going on?" Nika hadn't talked to her for a while and was hoping to sit and talk to her for a bit and catch up.

When Adam got into his history something about the tone of his voice told her that she was the only one who knew. At least the minute details. The past has a way of wanting to stay there and the fact that Adam was brave enough to tell Selina really touched her. But then again she had confessed to her not so sad story.

It was funny how the two were both so similar. They both had less than attentive parents, although Adam was worse off, and both found their escape in humor and friendship. She wondered if the reason why he was always laughing was to distract himself from always being angry. That was why Selina did it. To face the fact that her parents were more about their jobs than her bothered her. And the fact that Adam's parents just wanted him to be "normal" probably bothered him too.

Maybe that was why they both loved flying. Because when you are in the air the world beneath you stops for a minute. You don't have to worry about the troubles of your life when you are suspended mid air. The wind doesn't warrant such dark thoughts.

She looked over at Adam and said, "I don't think you're a freak. A little slow at the comebacks, but not a freak. Your parents are really missing out on such a great guy. And you know what? This will only make you stronger. I mean most people would sit by and mop because their life is so terrible. But you took something negative and turned it positive. That takes courage. That's why your a lion."

The air had grown quite serious around the pair and Selina smiled nudging him, "I hate to report that our mother is not the best either. No she does not think we are freaks or runs off to Australia for work... but she lives in the dungeons like the big bad wolf!"

"What does me being slow on comebacks have to do with me not being a freak...?"He said slightly befuddled over the idea of what she had said."Aww, thanks sis. And your parents on a awesome redhead daughter"He replied back the same."Kurumi told me that too.That because I defied my parents is makes me a true Gryffindor."He smiled remembering back to that time.

"Living in the dungeons- does she have a life? Oh mum, we must get her some friends.Adam teased Dragon Lady/Lafay.

Not quite?! Ruby's eyes grew dangerously as she watched him. What more did that Marshmallow want?
"A new bag of--WHAT?!" Ruby sputtered. She couldn't believe this; was he really that stupid to think she'd agree to this? It had cost her so much just to apologize, and here he wanted marshmallows? Just great. Really great.
But that wasn't all.
"EX-cuse me? A picture of ME?" With her own camera? Okay, that was it. He was clearly a nutcase and they accidentally let him loose from Mungo's. Yup, she would have to knock him out and then bring him to the authorities in this place.
But before she could figure out how to knock him out, he was dragging her towards a table, where he stood for a few minutes, busily scribbling something on a piece of parchment. Ruby leaned over to look, but he was already turning around.
As she read the parchment, her mouth fell open in horror. Brave? Charming? IDOL?! Ruby couldn't believe it. She actually burst out laughing at his stupid grin. He really believed that she would sign it.
Once her laughter subsided, reached up to tuck some hair behind her ear (meanwhile still holding on to the camera) and studied him.
"Let's say...I actually sign this," she pointed to the parchment, "How do I know you'll really give my camera back and not throw it out the window?" She asked him, her eyes narrowed. It couldn't hurt to go along with him at this point, seeing as her camera was still in his hands and he was clearly stronger than her so there was no way to wrestle it away.

"Everything, dear big brother, everything." Selina answer to his remark about being slow at comebacks.

"And yeah I could see Kurumi saying that. Speaking of the cookie making girl, does she know about that whole story? I mean everything, including you putting your parents to wand point?" Selina asked. She knew that the answer would be most likely no, Adam cared way to much for Kurumi to burden her his demons. Selina was, as he said, his little sister so she could see the comfort inn divulging that information. But Kurumi? She was just not sure.

"Mommy does not put herself out there to be likable. She's always had social problems. Why do you think we are so awkward?"

"Oh and while we are on the topic of Kurumi," Selina said placing a hand on her hip, "I heard about your reaction to her celebrity crush on Salander. She came to me in tears. Adam... why did you react like that? She has a tiny admiration, nothing serious."

Adam now guessed the 'hand on the hip' was the way for Selina to be sassy and demanding to her big brother.
He slightly opened his mouth but nothing came out, two more times and silence swept over him.Lately he had come to the terms that he overreacted for no reason, but just to make his life a bit interesting.
"I'm afraid I'll lose her. You saw me with Eino- any guy she is with , it's competition for me...I...I ...I...
And stay out of my business.!Do not divulge into my love life, or I shall do the same with you. Let me handle this."He said rather forcefully, standing up now.

"You heard right," Braeden confirmed, nodding his head as the Evil Lioness spluttered at all his requests. He was looking quite smug; he liked watching the tables turn; now she was the one in disadvantage. Mwaha!

And then she was… laughing! Laughing?! Braeden's grin faded and his brows furrowed - what was so funny?! Certainly she wasn't laughing at his requests, was she?
Yep, she was.
Grr. Evil Lioness. He glared at her.

Braeden listened as she then tried to negotiate, asking how she could be sure he would really give her back the camera if she signed the parchment. But Brae was having no negotiations. He already knew what he wanted, and if he didn't get it… then the Evil Lioness wasn't getting her camera. Simple as that. "There's only one way to find out," said the boy, raising his eyebrows at the girl and smiling deviously as he handed her the quill with his free hand.

Selina looked at Adam and shook her head, he did not get it. Neither did Kurumi. The pair of them were so desperate to not lose each other that they seemed to always be jealous of everyone they hung out with. Adam and Kurumi were made to compliment one another, why didn't the pair of them see it.

She kept her stance strong when Adam rose his voice to her. He may have scared other people into submission with his tone, but she would not be spoken to in such a manner. She was just relaying a message from what Kurumi had told her. She gave her word she would talk to him. He would not yell at her, that was not going to happen.

"Look Adam, I understand why you want me to bud out. I get that, fine. But you will not raise your voice to me. Ever, is that understood? I am not some weak little girl you can push around when you don't like what I say. So get over it. If you don't want my advice just say it, don't get all alpha male on me. Because I will not back down. It is not in nature. So are you done?"

Stubbornly he folded his arms.

"Yes!"He said with a nasty look.
"Now what? What do you have to say?"He asked in a more polite tone, though it was still a bit raised.

Very calmly she responded, "Nothing, I said my piece. I'm done."

Looking at Adam she sighed and continued, "Look, I'm sorry for raising my voice to you. Your the older brother and I should learn to keep my nose out of your business. But can you at least promise me that you will listen to what she has to say? She really cares about you."

She watched him as he thought it over, trying to see what he was going to say. But of course, he was not going to give in.
Ruby clenched her teeth together. Well, what were her options? (once again) She could sign the wretched parchment and then burn it afterwards, along with the picture so there was no proof of what he made her do. OR she could refuse to sign and continue to struggle. She bit her lip as she though this and decided to go with the first plan. Plus, how was he going to get the pictures if she had the camera, eh? HA, loser, he didn't even think about that! Plus, she felt like she could trust him (what?!) because he was naive enough to keep his promise. Right? He better.
She clenched her hands along with her teeth and groaned loudly. Snatching the quill from his hands, Ruby hissed in his face.
"I hate you, y'know that? A lot." And that was saying something since she had only met him, what, like an hour ago?
Grumbling, she crouch down and signed her name on the parchment: Ruby A. Blair.
Flourishing it at him, she said, "There. Happy?" She was never going to let him live for that one.

"You were trying to get a point across to me...No need to apologeize."He said.
"I will but....She cares about me? I thought...I thought...She really cares about me?"He asked, though his voice sounded as if he had accepted the fact.

Selina could have smacked him for being so thick. Of course Kurumi cared about him. He tended to always be the topic of conversation if the little asian girl was given the choice. And usually she was.

"Yes, Adam. Although I am not sure why." Selina teased.
