Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Gobbledygook!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

Lexi collapsed in her chair and started playing air guitar as she belted out the chorus again in unison with Katy. TOO FUN! She had fits of hysterical giggles as she flopped around in her seat.

But it did not matter much, they were going to understand once they have experienced their first Potions class. Lukas tumbled through the hole in the wall behind the portrait. His eyes had been drawn to everywhere but his hands and feet. He landed catlike on the carpet still staring round at the red and gold walls. His brief tour over the summer hadn't taken him into the common rooms so he was fascinated now. The abundance of red was startling at first but after a little while it grew on you.
He glanced around the room. There were little pockets of people getting to know each other. He frowned feeling a twinge of jealousy, neither Enya nor Klaudette had been in his house. He hadn't seen them at all since his trip to Diagon Alley. He got to his feet and straightened his new school robes. It was an odd feeling, these loose sleeves and billowing train behind him. | |

Ah of course they did not know who was Professor Lafay. They were firsties. How could he forget that? And this also meant that they could not fully get the joke. Kurumi had only envisioned pulling pranks on her own brothers and maybe a light-hearted one on a friend or two. "How...how do you do it? I...well...I tried asking you earlier, but I got nervous - especially with that one Slytherin girl looking at me with scary eyes," she explained shivering a little as she remembered those eyes.

Though they could just say it was squished LOOKING, but not actually squished because they were kinda new to baking or something. 'Kay then. So how do we explain the squished-ness of the cake?' When the boy in question arrived in the common room, his attention was brought to Ryan as Viktoriya greeted him. Simon followed her gaze and offered his own 'Hey" to his friend. Wondering with a curious eyebrow at the boy's predicament as he noticed Ryan seated with a girl neither knew.
Simon couldn't help but roll his eyes as his friend so casually remarked on his sitting on a strange girl that obviously had been there in the chair first. But then again that was Josh...personal space wasn't entirely person and while it could be a pain at times, the boy took itas part of being friends with him. He shook his head casually as Josh switched to talk of Professor Lafay, quite used to the actions against her for she really wasn't the nicest professor at all.
He glanced at Viktoriya as she mulled over her 'Josh-given' nickname, smiling as she approved. It really did suit her and less of a mouthful then her full name. He was thankful himself to have something as simple as Simon. When the conversation was brought back to the incident at the feast, Simon too couldn't help being just a little sheepish. He may not have been the one who did it but he was the accident recipiant.

The boy watching as Josh finally got up and walked closer to them, his face falling at the words.
"Aww now why did you have to go and say that," he remarked with a groan. "I can be just as open about rules as you I just tend to be the more cautious of the two.
