Strickles® Lukas tumbled through the hole in the wall behind the portrait. His eyes had been drawn to everywhere but his hands and feet. He landed catlike on the carpet still staring round at the red and gold walls. His brief tour over the summer hadn't taken him into the common rooms so he was fascinated now. The abundance of red was startling at first but after a little while it grew on you.
He glanced around the room. There were little pockets of people getting to know each other. He frowned feeling a twinge of jealousy, neither Enya nor Klaudette had been in his house. He hadn't seen them at all since his trip to Diagon Alley. He got to his feet and straightened his new school robes. It was an odd feeling, these loose sleeves and billowing train behind him. |
