Super Slytherin Buddy - ⅓ She-Snake Trio || EVIL Healer
Marie ran down to the CoMC nursery wearing a t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops. She also had a towel hanging around her neck along with a few extra things in her bag (like crup shampoo and a brush). Today she was going to attempt to give Frankie a bath and she had a feeling she may be getting wet herself.
"Hey Frankie, ready for a bath?" she said as she let him out of his kennel. She then went over and let Kali out. "Hey girl, bath time for you too." She then sat on the floor and waited for Carter while the crups wrestled around a little.

3rd Year Slytherin
Visit 1:
Today was my first time to see Frankie without the Professor there. He was sleeping when I first arrived at the nursery. After waking him he started to lick my hand, then he bit me. Luckily Carter brought a steak for me to give to Frankie (he's so thoughtful) which he totally loved.
I tried teaching him to sit, which he did for about 10 seconds. We will keep working on that.
Need to get a leash and a collar so Frankie can get out of cage and run around a little more. Duplicated ball Carter brought Kali so Frankie would have one to play with too. Need to get some toys for him.
Visit 2:
Today Frankie was running around his kemmel when I arrived. I put his new collar on him then took him out for a walk using the new leash I had brought too. He loved running around outside. We had fun wrestling and running around.
Once I got him back in his kennel I gave him some water anf the chew bone I brought for him. I also gave Kali some water.
I then wrote a note for Carter telling him I gave Kali a bone and that I left a collar and leash for her too. He was happily chewing on his bone when I left.
Frankie and Kali were both chewing on their bones when I left.
Visit 3:
Today I did not get to take Frankie outside to play since it started to rain shortly after I got to the nursery. Luckily I had brought him a new toy so we were still able to play. He seems to like playing tug of war with me.
I let Kali out to play too while we were waiting for Carter to show up. It was funny to watch both crups trying to get the rope from each other. I'm glad I got that toy for Frankie. Might have to get one for Kali now too.
When Carter showed up Frankie attacked him and started licking his face. At first I thought he was trying to bite Carter, but then I heard the laughter so I knew he was okay.
Carter brought a frisbee for us to throw for Frankie and Kali to catch. Frankie really had fun with it (I think Kali did too).
Frankie and Kali played and wrestled for a little bit. When they seemed to be getting tired I put Frankie back in his kennel and made sure his food and water bowls were filled before leaving.
This was a fun visit even though we had to stay inside.
Visit 4
I went to visit Frankie for a few minutes before going to classes. He was sleeping so I just watched him. Kali was chewing on her bone so I said hi to her. I didn't pet her though because I didn't want to get bitten in case she thought I was trying to take her bone.
I filled the water and food bowls of both crups before heading out to class.
Hopefully later Frankie will be awake when I visit.
Visit 5
Tonight Frankie was awake when I got here. The weather was nice so I was able to take him outside to play. Hearing Kali whimper as we were going out I decided to take her with us.
We played catch (well I threw, they caught), ran around (a lot), and played tug of war. I then let them run free while I wrote in my journal and wrote a note to Carter.
Once back inside I fed and watered them before leaving.
I think tomorrow I will give Frankie a bath.
Visit 6
Today is bath day. Time to find out of Frankie likes to get wet.
Yup, that's right! The Snitch he caught on the gameee! And Phineas should be slightly excited that he'll get to play with it, even if Treyen won't be leaving it with the niffler, because, well, let's face it, Phineas could get the Snitch lost, and that wasn't nice at all.
The Huffie boy had forgotten all about the keys until he walked up to Phineas cage, and noticed the niffler eying the ground quite intently, as if the keys were there, but he could see nothing! No keys, no anything, except Phineas' focus turned around to the Snitch in his hand.
And he was happy that Treyen brought the object along.
"Heeeey, Phineas! Look what I got! We also got a trophy but that's not coming inside the nursery" he said, taking the niffler out of its cage, and allowing the little creature (not too little anymore) to play with it. At first, Phineas looked both curious and scared about the new toy, but then he just liked it. Just like Treyen.
Aww, too bad they didn't get to keep this creatures as pets.

Phineas was acting a bit strange when I came today, but he seemed to recover his normal mood when he spotted something new.
It is my belief that routine doesn't do him any good. He becomes obsessed. That is rather odd, because I've read that routine is actually the greatest thing for babies, but Phineas seems to think different.
Since I got a Snitch from the Quidditch game, I decided to let him play with the golden object for a while, and he enjoys playing with it even more than with the sickle or those silly keys, which totally disappeared, by the way.
He had a large portion of niffler's food today, and he's bigger, hence the large portion. The refusal of water at first was not a problem, when he decided to drink it before I left.
Plenty of time went by while he fed Phineas, and played with the niffler, but it was time to go, because the sun was already setting. Sooo, Treyen took the Snitch with him, and placed a very angry Phineas in the cage.

Carter headed into the nursery. Today was the day that Kali and Frankie were getting a bath.
"Hey Marie." he said seeing her with the two crups. "Ready for this?" he asked hanging his bag on Kali's cage so it wouldn't get wet.

Visit One:
As soon as I approached Kali's cage she realized I was a muggleborn and began barking. I talked to her and gave her a treat. I hope that this calms her down a bit. She seems to really enjoy it.
After finishing her steak and drinking some water, Kali seemed in a much better mood. She came up to the front of the cage and didn't bark at me. We then started to play fetch with a little ball that I brought.
We played catch a few more times and then she decided she just wanted to chew on the ball. I think I must have exhausted her because she soon fell asleep on the little ball.
Visit Two:
Kali got some presents from Marie today. She chewed on her chew bone, which she really seemed to enjoy. Marie also left a collar and leash for little Kali so we went on a nice jog together.
After we returned to her cage I gave her food and water. I think she's comfortable around me even though I'm muggle-born. She even licked my hand!
It was a nice fun visit.
Visit Three:
I entered the nursery and was very enthusiastically greeted by Kali and Frankie. Marie and I played a little frisbee with them. Then they wrestled. We let them play until they tired out. Then we returned them (and their toys) back to their cages.
Visit Four:
I headed to the nursery after lunch to spend my free period with Kali. We played with the ball I got her on the first visit. I lost track of time watching her play.
Visit Five:
I brought treats for Kali and Frankie today. When I arrived I found both crups fast asleep. They must have had a good time with Marie. I left the treats in their cages and then filled up their water. (They already had food). Tomorrow is going to be bath time for them. Hopefully that goes well.

Today is bath day!

It was the seventh time Pam was visiting Hachi. She had been feeling rather down lately but she was going to try to be happy infront of him. She peered into the cage and Hachi got up immediately. "I'm so sorry I haven't visited these days. I've been busy. But now i'm here!" She said to him before opening the cage. Hachi ran to her and she stroked his soft fur.
"You must be hungry,look what I have for you!" She said as she took out a container with two small fishes in it. She placed it on the ground and Hachi stared at the fishes in it before looking up at her. "Go on!" Pam said excitedly to him. Hachi looked down and started to eat the fish. "Yay he ate the fish!" Pam thought super excitedly. Firstly,this meant he was growing. Secondly,she could write about it in her journal. Heh.
It didn't take very long for Hachi to finish eating. After all,the fishes were small. However, he was still quite small so he probably still needed to drink milk. She took out a carton of milk and a bowl from her bag. She poured the milk into the bowl and placed it on the ground. Hachi went forward and started to lick up the milk. When he was full and satisfied, she cleared everything away.
They sat on the ground and she stroked his fur. She thought that it was probably a bad idea to head off to play right after he ate. Hey, he could have indigestion right? Well that, she wasn't sure. But either way,she didn't want it to happen.
Somehow or another, she started to talk to Hachi about things that have made her feel down lately. Pam wasn't sure whether he understood what she was talking about but he seemed to have been listening throughout the whole thing. He then went to sit on her lap and she laughed.
She took out a box of treats for kittens and fed some to him. It was actually getting quite late so she decided to write her journal while he was eating.

Entry Seven
Seventh time i'm visiting Hachi. Hachi doesn't trust things he has never seen before. This can be told when I gave him a container of small fishes for the first time today. He wasn't sure whether to eat them or not but he eventually did when I told him it was okay. Hachi is also a good listener. I think he can understands how a person feels. He is a good kneazle!
Pam looked up and saw that Hachi had finished eating. He gave a small satisfied "meow". Pam laughed and put her journal back into her bag. "I think it's about time you have your rest." She said to him as she carried him back into his cage. Hachi looked quite sad. "Aww,i'll come again. I promise." She said to him before she waved and went out of the nursery.

Grabbing Frankie's leash she put it on him, stood up, grabbed the bag of bath stuff and went outside. She didn't wait for Carter and Kali, she knew they would be coming along.
"Okay Frankie, it's bath time," she said as she found a place to tie his leash to. There was no way she was letting him off the leash now, she didn't want him to run away if he didn't like getting wet.

It was another beautiful day and Mina had to go see Chloé again before she met up with Evan. Again, it would have to be short visit, but spending time with the knarl was a bit more important to her at the moment. The term was ending and soon they wouldn't see each other. Evan could wait for her.
Skipping over to the cages, she opened the top and pulled Chloé out. "Hey sweetie. I've come to play for a bit." she smiled as she sat down and allowed the knarl to curl up in her lap.
"I'm supposed to meet up with a friend, but I know you will be sleeping soon and well, you sleep like most of the day and all." she nodded as Chloé looked up at her. Yes, the knarl acted like she understood and squealed softly.

Entry Nine:
Visited Chloé again. Basically, I just came down to talk to her. No snacks as it was late afternoon and she was about to curl up and sleep. Her sleeping patterns were a bit opposite than my own and all.

Gloomily walking down to the nursery place, wondering why she was still thinking it was a nursery since all the animals in there were big enough to practically be called an adult...or teenager... Evelyn kept her hands in her shorts pockets as she made it to the door.
It was very close to the end of the year, meaning she wouldn't be able to see Orion for a whole summer. Would he still be here when she came back? Or was Professor Lawson-Morgan going to be sending him somewhere else?
Opening the door, she pulled out the cranberries from her pocket and held it in her hand. She could already see Orion's little nose peaking out from the cage, causing her to smile and giggle slightly. Aw, he knew she was coming! Either that or he could smell the shiny necklace that was also in her pocket. Either way, he was adorable.
"Hello Orion." she said in a warm soft tone, deciding to not to try to scare him or anything today, since obviously, she would have just scared herself. Tapping his little nose to get him to move back, once he did, she opened the cage and checked his water and food supply. All was good it seemed, though a little low on water. She would fix that up a little later. For now though... "C'mon, big guy."
He was getting pretty big. Carrying him to the enclosed play area outside, she closed the gate and set him down in the grass before placing the cranberries down next to him. Watching him devour the berries rather quickly, bringing another smile to Evelyn's face, she sat down next to him...content with where she was. That is, until he was done eating and glomped her.
NOOO! Not her necklace! "No, Orion, STOP!" Trying to get the persistent Niffler off of her, she quickly pulled out the other necklace from her pocket and threw it to the other side of the area. Yes, run after that one! Which, he immediately did, automatically making her own necklace that she was wearing safe for the moment. Gotta hide it. Under shirt and, move her hair to in front of her shoulders. Ok, good. Perhaps he wouldn't be able to spot it then. Or smell it.
Watching the ever growing Niffler grab the necklace and drag it to the house she had built for him, Evelyn sighed once more before plopping herself down on her back. "You would never leave me right, Orion?" she asked, knowing full well that he was probably too busy with his new findings to really do anything else. He did however, peak his little face out from the house to stare at her before moving back into the place.
Eesh. Someone was moody. Shaking her head, Evelyn looked back up to the sky and placed her hands behind her head as she watched to clouds move slowly by, listening to the jangling of coins and other valuables that she had given her precious Niffler over the year, being moved and shoved around in the little house. He really was a little too spoiled. Not that she cared. She intended it to be like that.
It didn't take long for her to drift off to sleep, however, when she did wake up finally, she had found Orion sleeping in the nook of her arm. He was so CUTE!

Trixie arrived once more to go see her little Topaz. Well not so little any more. The Phoeix had grown substantially since she last saw it. It actually looked like a bird now, and not some brown little, well whatever it looked like. The tail feathers were certainly untouchable now. And Trix wasn't even going to try it now. The beak was a vivid shade of yellow and the feathers on it's crest were more of a tomato red. Topaz certainly looked more like a Phoenix.
As the Slytherin arrived there, she approached the Phoenix which now had a lot of trust to the girl, something of which Trixie was truly grateful of. And the bird even let her touch it's feathers now. The feel of the Phoenix's back under Trixie's hand was very smooth and silky. "Hey Topaz" she smiled softly trying to gain even more trust.

Today was the day that Legend planned to play with Charmander in the closed in play area at the back. Hopefully the bird wasn't as sleepy as the other day.
His emerald green eyes lit up as he saw the Phoenix wide awake and staring back at him.
It was insane. When he had first seen Charmander the bird was as big as his index finger and now he was the size of his whole hand. Sure it might not have been big now, but he knew that in a matter of days the Phoenix would be HUGE.
And his feathers had grown in. They weren't white like how they looked before they they were growing, but they weren't red like how they were suppose to be, for a full grown Phoenix. They were BRIGHT orange.
"Charmander the fuzzball, has a ring to it doesn't it?" Legend asked grinning as he held out his hand. The Bird stepped on and nuzzled his hand affectionately. "Today you're gonna fly." Walking out to the back with his notebook, pen and Charmander, Legend noticed some other kids playing with their pets. Cool.
"Too bad I can't let you meet Pluto, I think you guys would get along because-" Before he was able to finish his sentence the bird ruffled it's feathers and took flight. Legend's mouth hanged open and he watched the bird fly circles and aerials and loops, but still never leaving the play area. It was beautiful, and Legend had no clue how the bird already knew how to do things like that.
While the bird continued to enjoy his freedom Legend sat down and began to write.

Day Four-
So I guess that Phoenix's have the natural ability to know how to fly. Or maybe they just remember it from their previous life as a Phoenix before their burning day, whatever the case is Charmander knows how to fly.
And it's not like I taught him either. I find it cool, they just know, like how humans just know how to breathe.
Anyways, Charmander has also grown quite a bit, I think he's gonna reach the stage of a full grown Phoenix in a couple more days. He's not GIANT but he has gotten bigger and his feathers have grown in (they aren't the right color but they still have grown in). His tail feathers haven't grown in yet, my guess is that they are the last to grown.
OH, also Charmander is very affectionate, more so than how he was when he was "born". Pretty interesting if you ask me.
Closing the book Legend watched him for about 20 more minutes, he was actually planning on PLAYING WITH him but the bird was enjoying freedom for his first time so Legend didn't want to interupt him. Finally looking at his watch Legend held out his arm.
Charmander flew back in a matter of seconds. "Nice dude. You look tired." Making their way back inside Legend opened the cage and let the bird in side. "I'll see you later man okay?" Dropping his notebook on the table Legend closed the cage and left the nursery.

With Frankie now tied to a tree Marie got out her wand and the crup shampoo. "Aguamenti," she said and watched as water started to flow out of her wand. "Okay Frankie, time for you to get wet." she said. It seemed he wasn't ready to get wet though, he just wanted to drink the water.
After letting him have a nice long drink she moved her wand and started to spray him down. He started barking and jumping around. "No Frankie, sit still." It seemed the silly crup wanted to chase the water stream.
Once he was all wet she grabbed the shampoo and squirted some on him. He seemed to like it when she was lathering him all up, especially when she was rubbing his belly. "That feels good huh boy," she said as she now rubbed his head and ears.
She looked over at Carter and Kali to see how they were doing. It looked like Kali may not like the water. "Here's some shampoo if you need some," she said to Carter as she tossed it over to him.
Picking her wand up and using aguamenti again she started to rinse the soap off Frankie. This wasn't so bad, he seemed to be doing okay here...
Until he started to shake the water off him causing it to go everywhere, including all over her. "Frankie, it's your bath time not mine," she said laughing as water dripped off her face.
Yep, good thing she dressed the way she did.

I went to visit Frankie for a few minutes before going to classes. He was sleeping so I just watched him. Kali was chewing on her bone so I said hi to her. I didn't pet her though because I didn't want to get bitten in case she thought I was trying to take her bone.
I filled the water and food bowls of both crups before heading out to class.
Hopefully later Frankie will be awake when I visit.

Tonight Frankie was awake when I got here. The weather was nice so I was able to take him outside to play. Hearing Kali whimper as we were going out I decided to take her with us.
We played catch (well I threw, they caught), ran around (a lot), and played tug of war. I then let them run free while I wrote in my journal and wrote a note to Carter.
Once back inside I fed and watered them before leaving.
I think tomorrow I will give Frankie a bath.

Carter caught the bottle of shampoo Marie tossed over. It was a good thing Marie thought ahead. He hadn't thought of crup shampoo at all. After Kali was all nice and wet he re-holstered his wand. He then used the shampoo and rubbed it all over Kali. He spent some time scratching behind her ear. She really liked that. He looked over to see how Marie was fairing. Frankie was running around chasing the water. Silly crup. He looked back over at Kali. She seemed to be enjoying it. Especially when the shampoo made little bubbles.
"Ready to rinse off girl?" he asked. Using aguamenti he started rinsing her off. He looked back over at Marie just in time to see her get covered in water thanks to Frankie.
And Carter just couldn't help himself. He just had to laugh.

Visit One:
As soon as I approached Kali's cage she realized I was a muggleborn and began barking. I talked to her and gave her a treat. I hope that this calms her down a bit. She seems to really enjoy it.
After finishing her steak and drinking some water, Kali seemed in a much better mood. She came up to the front of the cage and didn't bark at me. We then started to play fetch with a little ball that I brought.
We played catch a few more times and then she decided she just wanted to chew on the ball. I think I must have exhausted her because she soon fell asleep on the little ball.
Visit Two:
Kali got some presents from Marie today. She chewed on her chew bone, which she really seemed to enjoy. Marie also left a collar and leash for little Kali so we went on a nice jog together.
After we returned to her cage I gave her food and water. I think she's comfortable around me even though I'm muggle-born. She even licked my hand!
It was a nice fun visit.
Visit Three:
I entered the nursery and was very enthusiastically greeted by Kali and Frankie. Marie and I played a little frisbee with them. Then they wrestled. We let them play until they tired out. Then we returned them (and their toys) back to their cages.
Visit Four:
I headed to the nursery after lunch to spend my free period with Kali. We played with the ball I got her on the first visit. I lost track of time watching her play.
Visit Five:
I brought treats for Kali and Frankie today. When I arrived I found both crups fast asleep. They must have had a good time with Marie. I left the treats in their cages and then filled up their water. (They already had food). Tomorrow is going to be bath time for them. Hopefully that goes well.
Visit Six:
Today is bath day! I started by taking Kali outside on her leash. I tied the leash to a tree. I used aguamenti to wash her. She didn't know how to react to the water at first.

Marie was finishing rinsing Frankie off when she heard Carter laugh. She looked over to see what he was laughing at. Was he laughing at... her? Oh this meant war... just as soon as she made sure all the soap was off Frankie first.
Once he was suds free she walked over to Carter and Kali. "Hey, you need some help here?" she asked. She pointed her wand at Kali and said "Aguamenti!" then quickly raised her wand and splashed Carter's face with water. "Oops, guess I missed," she said as a evil little giggle may have escaped her.
Yeah, she would get him all wet if she had to.

Visit 1:
Today was my first time to see Frankie without the Professor there. He was sleeping when I first arrived at the nursery. After waking him he started to lick my hand, then he bit me. Luckily Carter brought a steak for me to give to Frankie (he's so thoughtful) which he totally loved.

Destiny had NOTHING special planned for her visit with her Jarvey. Every time she seemed to plan something, it went horribly wrong. Like the bath..the costume..yeah, it was best just to wing these visits, she decided.
She made her way to the nursery, and headed straight for Captain's cage. For once, the Jarvey was WIDE awake, and she figured that was NOT a good sign. Usually the thing was always asleep, unless he KNEW she was coming..which could only mean one thing and one thing only; she had a psychic pet. That could explain SO much. He knew she was going to give him a bath and he knew she was going to give him that costume. Well, the little guy wasn't going to know what was going on then, because Destiny didn't know herself.
Opening the cage, she let the Jarvey run up her arm and prop himself onto her shoulder. Of course he had to look around at all the other creatures, but Destiny hurriedly left the nursery, taking him outside. It was nice out and what could really go wrong? Stepping outside, she gently placed the Jarvey on the grass and took a few steps away. Perhaps he wouldn't be so mean if she let him do what he pleased.
She watched in amusement as the little guy ran around, and..rolled around like a crazy creature. Eh, it didn't bother her, he was being nice and he didn't seem to have any rude things to say..that was until she tried to bring him back inside. "Captain! It's time to go in!" she called out as she made her way over to him. As she bent over to pick him up, the Jarvey stopped, dropped and rolled onto his back.

Oh nooooo! Professor MorganLawson would have her sent to Azkaban for this, and her parents would be so DISPLEASED!
Dropping down besides the Jarvey, she gave him a little poke in the belly and he didn't even stir. "Captain!" she cried, giving him another poke. Oh nooooo! Leaning in even closer, she was just about to listen for a heartbeat, but what she heard was NOT what she expected.
"FREAK!"
Jumping to her feet, she took a few steps away from the laughing Jarvey and pointed a finger at him, "You are bad, and that was NOT funny." She bent down to pick him up, before he had a chance to run away, and walked him back inside the nursery. Placing him in his cage, she made sure it was locked before pulling out her journal.

Entry seven: Since I didn't have anything special planned for Captain today, I just let him run wild outside in the pen. He seemed to enjoy it, and he didn't even call me any rude names. The only time he was rude was when it was time for him to come back inside. I walked over to him and as I bent down to pick him up, he rolled onto his back and PRETENDED to be dead! I didn't know Jarvey's could do that, but they obviously can. As I went on to check on him, he SCARED me by calling me a freak and I'm pretty sure he laughed at me. My Jarvey is bad.
With one more pointed finger towards the Jarvey, she put away her journal and headed back towards the castle.

Once Frankie was all dried off she put him back down. She held onto the leash he was still attached to. She then picked up the bottle of shampoo and draped the now wet towel over her arm. Bath time wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. It was actually rather fun.

Two days went by, two days since Phineas was left without any Snitch.
Poor niffler, he must miss it, that's why Treyen decided to bring it along with him, and perhaps play a bit with the creature with the rightful use of levitation spells thanks to his wand.
"Phineas! How are youuu today?" he said, as he took the niffler out of his cage, it wasn't nice...being all day inside it...right?
And soon after Phineas was out, Treyen took out the Snitch and his wand and watched Phineas interaction with the golden ball, it was rather fun to watch, truth be told, and he was very attentive.

Phineas looked as if he was waiting for something, perhaps he already knew the Snitch was coming today, again. Because, yes, he seemed more excited about the shiny things than he was about me. Which is certainly ironic, considering I am the one bringing the Snitch along.
Anyway, his activeness was something I enjoyed, because he was on his way to be an excellent treasure hunter.
He didn't want any food today, though, perhaps he already ate? We'll see how tomorrow looks.
And while the niffler refused to eat after the Snitch was taken away, Phineas did drink a lot of water and went all by himself to the cage, almost knowing it was time for Treyen to head back to the Castle.

Mina glanced down at the sleeping knarl and couldn't help but smile. Chloé had really grown on her and she was sad that their time was almost over. Glancing at the door, she could see the sun was still pretty high and there was still time for her to get things done. Chloé would surely be asleep for a few hours and she could just come back with a snack then.
Standing up slowly, she craddled the knarl in her hand and moved toward the cage again. Chloé needed to be placed back in her cage and allowed to get some rest. Where she got all that energy was still rather unclear to Mina. She kind of wished she had that kind of energy as well.
Gently laying Chloé down in the small hole that Chloé usually slept in, Mina pulled out the tiny watering bowl and tidied the cage up a bit. The cage did look a bit of a mess and all.
Refilling the bowl with some water, she replaced it and gave Chloé a last look before leaving the nursery and enjoying the sunny day.
Bobbing in her furry Mama-Knarl clothing, Ivory made her way into the Nursery once again.
She'd been here a few times already simply to leave her hand in Sonic's cage so he could get used to her scent and associate her with comforting feelings and she hoped that maybe today would be the right time for the next step.
"Hey little guy, you hungry?"
Kneeling before his cage, she was happy to see that Sonic didn't huff and spit and roll anymore but rather scooted over to rub against the furry gloves.
Smiling at him, she reached into her pocket and took out the small bottle she'd prepared earlier. She'd read that the best thing for baby knarls was a mixture of water, milk, and sugar to give them the nutrients they needed to develop their underbelly fur coats to keep warm. She'd even made sure to heat it to just the right temperature.
Cradling him against her furry jacket she held the bottle in the crook of her arm and let him squirm around that way he'd find the tip of it on his own rather than think it was being offered. Although for a while he merely sniffed around eventually, he took to the bottle and began slowly drinking the mixture.
Giggling softly since she hadn't really had a back up plan in case this didn't work, she crooned to him softly as she watched intently to make sure he didn't get any air bubbles that would mess with his digestion later.
After about 3/4 of the bottle had been consumed he pushed his tiny paws back against the bottle and curled up in the crook of her arms.
"Aww you're all full and sleepy now arn't you."
Placing her hand under his little weight, she gently moved his yawning body into his cage where she'd previously set up a little burrow over a charmed-to-be-always-warm pillow. Giving him a little nudge with a furry finger she watched as he waddled into his little cave, made a few quick turns and rolled himself up to sleep.
Jotting down a very observations in her journal, she picked up her things and blew him one last kiss before making her way back to her common room. She'd have to come extra extra early next time to try to catch him in his nocturnal activity and play with him.

Legend was ready for another day. He planned on bathing the Phoenix today, since the bird had not been cleaned since it's burning day. And there was no doubt that there was cricket remains stuck between his feather's somewhere.
Entering the Nursery the Gryffindor was all ready. He had rubber gloves on, and everything, and he also carried a shallow sliver bucket and a bottle of soap. Walking over to the back Legend grabbed a few towels and a rag.
Today was a nice day so he would do this outside! Legend opened Charmander's cage grinning. "Hey dude! Follow me alright?" Turning around Legend made his way to the area at the back. He wasn't surprised when he saw Charmander flying behind him.
Putting the bucket down he poured a cap full of soap inside. He didn't want too much. "Come on Char." Extending his arm the bird flew over and he put him in the water. Legend picked up the rag and slowly began to clean over his feather's, the bird made soft chirping noises as if they were having a conversation.
After a while Charmander seemed to be covered in white suds. "Hop out." The bird listen and Legend took out his wand. "Aguamenti!" A stream of clear water erupted from his wand and softly sprayed the bird. Soon his shiny and now clean feathers could be seen. "There I think that's pretty good don't you?" Charmander nodded and then flew back into the nursery, Legend chased after him, only to realize that he just wanted to go back to his cage. Dude, he hadn't even gotten to dry the bird off. "Okay then? Time to write?"

Day Five-
So Charmander is big. WAY bigger than it had been yesterday that was for sure. He had doubled his size, and his feather's were now red AND orange and his eyes were pitch black. He's actually starting to look like a proper Pheonix. Except for the fact that his tail feather's aren't in yet, and his beak is still slightly off color. But what ever, he is only a couple days old.
He's acting way more mature now. Not like a baby would. Like he understands what I'm talking about with going outside, and he isn't scared of taking a bath either. He is just relaxed about everything. I find it pretty cool because that is the way that Phoenix's should be but he had been stubborn at first.
So he seems to like it alot in his cage. And those are the only things that have changed so far.
I'll keep you updated though.
Legend closed the book. He didn't really know what to write anymore. "I'll see you later Char, tomorrow is grooming day." Oh what fun. Legend closed the cage (even though he was sure the bird wouldn't fly out anyways) and then ran back to the back. He cleaned up all the soapy water and brought the towels back to the back. When everything was all clear he ran out to go meet his friends.

Evelyn was in a sad mood. This was probably one of the last days she could visit Orion before the end of the school year. D'aaawww couldn't she take him home with her? Or, in other words, couldn't she take him to Destiny's? Since, that's where she would be living during the summer...
Entering the stone building, Evelyn smiled when she saw his not-so-little...little nose peaking out of the cage. He was getting rather big, bigger then she was expecting at least, but no matter..he was still the best. EVER!
"Hello Orion." she said as she made it to his cage, three cranberries in hand and a brush in the other. Today, she needed to brush his fur. Like, seriously. She knew he kept himself generally clean most of of the time, but, his fur, needed some serious brushings.
Tapping his nose to make him scoot back so she was able to open the cage door, Evelyn picked him up before going on outside. "Dang, you are getting heavy." AND he was getting a that small chubbiness in his belly again. Has she been overfeeding him? Naaah. She made sure his food dish was regularly full and such...
He needed more exercise!
But not today. Today, they were going to be lazy!
Placing him down on the warm grass, heated by the blazing sun overhead, Evelyn pulled out her last galleon that she had and gave it to him before sitting down and pulling him into her lap. Yea, he could chew on that while she brushed him and made him all purrrdddy.
Teehee.
After awhile though, he started to get antsy, but she needed to finish! Once she started to brush his tummy though, he immediately relaxed and went limp in her lap.

At least she knew what to do now if he ever tried to run away again. Brush his tummy! Hehe. Half an hour later, and he was still limp in her lap, Evelyn chuckled before setting him upright again, and placing the galleon near his nose. Thaaaat got his attention. Grabbing it with his teeth, it almost seemed as if he were prancing more then running as he went towards the house she had built for him.
Oh boy, he was getting a little too big. She needed to build him a bigger house since...he could barely fit through the door now. ROFLOL! And, he was stuck. "Awww, Orion." Hearing him having some kind of fit, Evelyn opened the top of the house and pulled him out. Oh jeez, did she really give him all of that? BAhahaha! The niffler robbed her of all her money, a silver chain, and a rather expensive necklace. And with doing nothing too!
Psssh, he really was the best. "I'll hopefully see you later big guy. Promise." Closing his cage and with one last little wave, Evelyn left. Yes, one more visit hopefully.

Trixie came to check on her Phoenix Topaz at the magical Nursery with a slight skip in her step. She had no idea why she just did. And somehow that happened to have an impact on the magnificent creature as she walked into the room. For with a grin on her face and a glance at the bird something surprised her.

Merlin how big had that bird got? It's feathers glistening red and the beak substantially bigger, Trixie was pretty certain that it would be at full size any time soon as it was more of a bird of prey size rather then you average garden bird size. Which both enlightened but also saddened the Slytherin. She'd grown incredibly attached to the young creature and it would probably want freedom once fully grown. Then again they grew attached to owners didn't they? A certain bond.
Running her hand softy across the back of the bird, making sure to stop before reaching the tail, Trixie noticed that the feathers stretched out almost as long as a peacocks did. The bird made a single noise, a call of some kind, almost like a greeting. The Blonde smiled and nodded at the bird.

Another day, another dollar....if you were in the Muggle world. Legend entered the Nursery happily. He wasn't planning on doing much with Charmander today but that didn't mean that he didn't have to be excited.
He turned and made his way to the back and got a container of crickets and a brush. He was planning on "grooming" Charmander today and the cricket's were just there to feed the bird.
"Hey Char." Legend said as he approached the bird. Opening the cage Charmander stepped out and ruffled his feathers, his head was held high with confidence. He could seriously be considered a full grown Phoenix now. "How have you been doing?" setting some crickets on the table he watched as the red bird quickly gobbled them up. It would have been cool if animals could speak English.
As Charmander finished chewing the last cricket, Legend took the brush and slowly began to brush his feather's back. He would have done this yesterday but Charmander hadn't dried off and he would have looked weird anyways.
Legend slowly continued brushing the animal, as he causually told him about his day. It was sad coming here was something he enjoyed but soon...that would be all over. "Why don't you sing?" Legend asked randomly as he let the brush hit the table. The Phoenix turned his head to the side and just blinked as if to say 'you tell me.' "Not a good answer." Legend grumbled annoyed.
Picking up his notebook he began to write and Charmander managed to get more crickets from the container.

Day Six-
IT FINALLY HAPPENED! Charmander's tail feather's have grown in. He has also grown a few more inches. I'm pretty sure that he isn't big enough for the normal size of an adult Phoenix though, but he's ALMOST there. He has everything else and he just looks like a real Phoenix.
His personality hasn't changed since the other day though. He still seems really calm. And like he's in in control of the situation.
Legend threw the book onto the table. "Come one man. I won't be back tomorrow but sometime this week okay?" He extended his arm and the bird hopped on and then hopped back in his cage. Locking the door Legend waved at him and then levitated the brush back to the back of the room.

She untied Frankie and picked him up in the towel she had brought with her. "Yeah I think he liked it. I think he liked chasing the water more though." And drinking the water too. "What about Kali, did she like it?"
Once Frankie was all dried off she put him back down. She held onto the leash he was still attached to. She then picked up the bottle of shampoo and draped the now wet towel over her arm. Bath time wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. It was actually rather fun.
"Are you ready to take Kali back in?" she asked as she stood there with Frankie running all around her feet.
Carter laughed. "Whatever you say." he said turning his attention back to his crup. Those puppy dog eyes of Marie's weren't going to fool him... this time.
"I don't think that she knew what was going on for the most part." he said. "But she seemed a fan of the little bubbles." he said.
"Yup. I'm ready." he said untying the leash. He led Kali back inside and put her back in her cage. He then sat on the bench and then updated his journal.
"You want to change and then meet at lunch after this?" he asked after he was done writing.

Visit One:
As soon as I approached Kali's cage she realized I was a muggleborn and began barking. I talked to her and gave her a treat. I hope that this calms her down a bit. She seems to really enjoy it.
After finishing her steak and drinking some water, Kali seemed in a much better mood. She came up to the front of the cage and didn't bark at me. We then started to play fetch with a little ball that I brought.
We played catch a few more times and then she decided she just wanted to chew on the ball. I think I must have exhausted her because she soon fell asleep on the little ball.
Visit Two:
Kali got some presents from Marie today. She chewed on her chew bone, which she really seemed to enjoy. Marie also left a collar and leash for little Kali so we went on a nice jog together.
After we returned to her cage I gave her food and water. I think she's comfortable around me even though I'm muggle-born. She even licked my hand!
It was a nice fun visit.
Visit Three:
I entered the nursery and was very enthusiastically greeted by Kali and Frankie. Marie and I played a little frisbee with them. Then they wrestled. We let them play until they tired out. Then we returned them (and their toys) back to their cages.
Visit Four:
I headed to the nursery after lunch to spend my free period with Kali. We played with the ball I got her on the first visit. I lost track of time watching her play.
Visit Five:
I brought treats for Kali and Frankie today. When I arrived I found both crups fast asleep. They must have had a good time with Marie. I left the treats in their cages and then filled up their water. (They already had food). Tomorrow is going to be bath time for them. Hopefully that goes well.
Visit Six:
Today is bath day! I started by taking Kali outside on her leash. I tied the leash to a tree. I used aguamenti to wash her. She didn't know how to react to the water at first. She enjoyed the little bubbles. I'd say it was a successful bath time for her.

It had been about two weeks since Legend's last visit. He hoped that Charmander wasn't too mad. Or that the Phoenix had not forgotten about him. He had, had so much homework it was brutal. Entering the Nursery he closed the door quietly behind him. As he made his way over to Charmander's cage his mouth grew.
Charmander was....beautiful.
And Legend didn't use that word often. And it was even more weird cause Charmander was a dude. He just looked all knowning. Opening the cage he slipped his hand through "Hey man, I'm sorry please don't be-" The Phoenix walked up to his hand and began to nuzzle it. AWESOME! He wasn't mad.
"Come on boy, we're gonna play a game." Charmander hopped onto his arm and Legend walked over to the back play area.
Animals needed to exercise and just needed to have fun. It was an important part in raising them. And he hadn't really played much games with the Phoenix.
As Charmander rose to the sky, Legend took a ball out of his pocket. "I'm gonna throw this really far okay? And you're gonna get it before it hit's the ground and bring it back." It was like catch. But for birds. Winding back the Gryffindor supressed all his strength and then threw the ball.
It went soaring through the sky and it was beautiful. At first Legend thought that there was no way Charmander could catch it but then the bird swooped out of nowhere and caught it in his claws. "AWESOME." He said laughing.
The game continued for hours. Not once did Charmander miss the ball, and Legend did try to make him. The Gryffindor looked up at the sky and noticed the sun setting. He had came here at 1am. Wow. "Come on Char time to go in!" The bird flew back to his cage causing Legend to follow again. "Sorry man, I'll be back sooner next time okay?" Picking up his notebook he began to write.

Day Seven-
I can seriously say that Charmander is a full grown Phoenix. His feathers are all grown in and he's really big. He looks wise and everything! The only thing is I have never heard him sing before. It's a shame.
Anyways. Charmander hasn't changed since weeks ago. He's still a calm creature, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't like to play. He's really playful and enjoys having fun. But he knows when it's time to pack up and call it a night.
Soo I'm pretty sure that this bird is no longer stubborn.
Closing the book he gave Charmander one last pet, locked the cage and left the Nursery. His next visit would be his last.
