"If you are sure", he smiled at Evelyn.

“Not bad!” Patroclus laughed, “I hope for your sake you are joking my friend, I am armed with a plate of food and not afraid to use it!” He was joking, there was no way he was going to get all messy and then kicked out of the ball, especially after the work he along with the decorations committee had put into it. And there was also the food committee and their hard work. Plus that fact that he was enjoying the food way to much to throw it away also stayed his hand

“Can I get you guys some punch?”

''Yeah not bad'' Josh repeated dropping the napkin back on table since he believed that he now had managed to get rid of the chocolate cake pieces that smirk still remaining on his face. Then he turned to Patroclus and looked down at his plate which was full.

Meh. The boy shrugged again as it was not a problem for him to have food all over... ... ... But, he remembered again, he was supposed to look handsome not like a walking food table. ''Okay okay just keep your food to yourself'' he said laughing ''I was kidding. I liked your work quite much. Everything looks wonderful. Good job and...'' he added looking at Patroclus ''...that depends on what punch you are talking about'' teehee

Destiny could take no more!

That chocolate fondue fountain was calling her name, and she could hear it from all the way at the other side of the room. Even while the music was blaring.

Destiny! Desssstiny!

Chocolate.

With her date under her arm, she made her way to the food table, not really paying attention to who or what was around her. The fountain..it was even better than the little one they had in the kitchen. The little one she was not allowed to take. The big one..that is another story. She was going to take it..later of course.

Putting her date down on the ground, she gently scooted him away from her with her foot. The cat would just get in her way while she stuffed her face. Grabbing a skewer, she placed a paper cup on the end and dipped the cup into the fountain. She waited until the cup was full of chocolate before taking it out..

..and drinking it.

Mwahaha!

Rolling her eyes at the two boys, Evelyn crossed her arms and waited patiently. One of them would want to dance sooner or later. She knew it.

However, her attention was diverted to someone who was carrying something quite fluffy that had a bow tie too. Sly? Raising a brow, she took a closer look at the person holding the cat before she almost burst out laughing. Destiny?

Taking a quick peak at the two boys, Evelyn glanced back over to Destiny before speaking. "I'll be right back." she muttered, not knowing if they heard her or not before moving to her friend. Why in the world did she bring her cat? Looking up this time, Evelyn cringed at the sight in front of her.

"Destiny, that's gross." Plainly put and said. It was definitely gross. How could someone stand that much chocolate?

Finishing the chocolate that was in her cup, Destiny took the cup off the skewer and squashed it in her hand. She had seen people do that on the muggle box. She was either going to squash it or smash it over her head, but she didn't want chocolate running down her face.

She was wearing a white dress after all.

As she felt the chocolate rush start to kick in, she looked around the room all shifty eyed and such, only to stop when she heard the very familiar voice of her BEST FRIEND! "Evelyn!" she exclaimed, dropping the squashed cup onto the table. Yeah, the fondue skewer was still in her hand. Using the skewer as a pointing device, she pointed it at her friend, "You look nice. But did you see THIS?" She pointed the skewer at the fountain.

"Where did my cup go?"

Kylie looked up from the place where Nate and herself were sitting and saw Destiny and Evelyn...

What was Destiny DOING?! "Nate. Um. I got to go take care of some business... Can we meet up somewhere in here to continue this conversation? I'd love to do that! I really would. I'm just a little concerned about one of my friends at the moment... I'll meet up with you soon, okay?" Kylie said before dashing off to Destiny and Evelyn by the chocolate fountain. She really hoped she wouldn't get anything on her dress. She'd worked long and hard to NOT get anything on it...

"Destiny... what are you DOING?!" The girl had chocolate around her mouth. And a cup that was covered in chocolate with a skewer sticking out of it.

I guess it's better than her just jumping in there...

Arya skipped over to the food table behind Emily with a grin. She had no idea that the girl was that hungry to leave without waiting for her. Standing beside her friend, she scanned the table, picking up some chocolate and nibbling on it. There was a ton of great food out. Some she recognized and others she didn't. The little puff gazed up at her friend with bright eyes. "What shall we start with?" Besides the chocolate she already had, that didn't count. Appetizers never counted towards a meal.

When he finished his meal, Evan put down his plate and wiped his mouth on a napkin. Sarmas were delicious! He wanted more, but it wasn't like they were going to finish up--right?!--so, he could always get some later. Now, it was fun time. Smiling a little at Mina who was finished with her meal either, he looked around at her question. "Yes, it is. Decoration committee did their job well." He felt the urge to ask her to dance, but somehow he just couldn't find the right words. Instead, he stared at the dancing people absent-mindedly, and tried to find the right phrase.

Mina smiled and nodded. "Thanks, we tried." she replied. She really did take a lot of pride in all the work the committee did. She was even more proud of her little groups' work on the outside area. The pond was kind of her baby and she couldn't wait to see how it turned out. "The food committee did a great job as well. I almost want to eat everything, but I shall hold off," she laughed softly. "Too much food and this dress? Yeah not a good match."

Looking back to the dance floor, she tilted her head slightly and watched the couples move around the floor. They all looked to be having fun.

"You did great," assured Celestina with wide-eyes. Surely, Bucky would have made a mess of herself if she had to talk business. Vannacutt = Nico? Celestina directed her scrutinizing eyes over her shoulder to inspect the back of Nicholai Toussaint. No matter how she looked at him, she didn't quite spot the similarities. It wasn't even merely looks wise, where they varied greatly. Bucky just found their mannerisms varying to some degree.

Although, if it came down to being gentlemanly and posh and full of money--then, yeah, they could be twins. "I guess soooo," she drawled, eyes dark before she turned to blink at Fran. "Like a girl? I...hanged around a lot of boys I don't know which one you're talking about? Curly hair?" That didn't really help distinguish anyone. Both Tag and Jamie had curly hair. "Jamie or Tag?"

Evan looked at Mina in surprise. Was she in decorations committee? Wow. He gave a thumb-up. Everywhere was so pretty. He smiled modestly then. "Thanks. We tried too." He laughed a bit. She was slim, so eating shouldn't be much of a problem... but he knew better than to try to get a girl see that she was thin, they were too convinced that they were a bit fat.

Seeing where she was eyeing--the dancing floor, he knew now that she wanted to dance too, and waited for him to ask. He took a deep breath, and with his hand offered palm up, he asked "Shall we dance?" Hopefully, that wasn't too much of a fail.

Mina smiled as she looked over at Evan. He was on the food committee? "Well, you guys are pretty amazing then. I'm not much of an eater and I ate all that food on my plate," she smiled. Eating a bit more was always an option. Maybe she would have some more later. There was so many things she could do later as the night was still young. "Perhaps, I'll have more later and then head out to see the outside. We worked rather hard on that." she smiled. Yes, it was her baby of the project.

Looking at his offered hand, she nodded and smiled softly. "I'd love to dance," she replied as she placed her hand in his. He's attempt at asking her wasn't all that bad and she found it cute at the same time. But being as they were just friends tonight, she didn't put too much thought into it.

"Thank you very much. That means a lot to me." Francesca felt good about how she tackled this particular situation. It was a difficult one to really tackle in a classy manner in her opinion but she was relieved someone else thought she did. When Bucky started talking about the boys she hung around at Hogwarts, a light bulb went off in her head at the first name. "It was Jamie! Jamie something or another. I just remember him being extremely feminine and every time I saw him I thought he was going to cry or something." She vaguely remembered Jamie to be perfectly honest but from what she did remember he was extremely feminine. Fran often wondered in her Hogwarts days if that boy was actually a girl trapped in a guy's body.

"Well...." began Celestina and just couldn't find a retort. A proper one to be given in front of so many people anyways. Coughing, she rubbed one flushed cheek with the back of her hand. "He might as well be married now. She was a Gryffindor, his girlfriend that is. You don't know her though. Anyways, yeah, erm, he's got this Chocolate Pocket thing going on. I guess you can say he's turned himself into a businessman."

A family man soon to be too, if everything went okay. Marriage. Family. Celestina was feeling nauseous again.

Sighing and waving around a carrot stick to show her...exasperation at the awkwardness, Mari nodded. " I thought so too." She said and then ate the carrot stick. She was saving the quesadillas for last, yes indeed. Looking at Elizabeth, she shrugged. " It's not that we aren't over it, it...well. I will be honest. I didn't know what to expect when I saw Robert. You know...everything, so..." She trailed off and took a sip of her drink. " It's fine now." Of course, it was better now that Robert had left. Mari just decided to keep that out of the conversation.

As Elizabeth pointed out the obvious, Mari tilted her head, considering this. " True. But my feet would start to hurt. Heels," She smiled quickly and then scanned the room. " We can go sit for a bit, then... mingle, I suppose." She told Elizabeth. " Come on," She said, nodding in the direction of the area with tables as she started to inch her way away from the buffet, but not before refilling her cup.

And now it was time to get something to drink. Diggy had told her he helped with the food and she rather thought he was talking about he had helped eat it. Tomasina giggled at the thought and headed off the dance floor toward the food.

Her eyes glinted off a familiar head of jet black hair. He was as dark as his sister was fair. It was a perfect contrast she had always thought. She fixed a smile on her face and walked over to him. "Fancy seeing you here," she smirked at Nico. And not with Kayla she wanted to add, but she told herself she wasn't going to pick at an old wound.

Jumping back a step as something was pointed at her, Evelyn scowled and used a few fingers to gently point the skewer awaaay from her face.

"Yea, that's me." she said, her scowl turning into a chuckle as her friend obviously found the chocolate fondue fountain. It was hardly unnoticeable. "Thank you." At least her friend said she looked nice. "You...too." Hmm, it was an interesting dress, but it suited Destiny so it was perfect.

Snickering, she plucked the skewer out of her friend's hand and put it on the table. "It's not that hard to miss it Destiny." she said, nudging her friend AWAY from the chocolate fountain...

...but she didn't get very far.

"She...is getting away from the chocolate fountain. That's what she's doing." she said, gesturing Kylie to help her out with a nod of her head towards the Slytherin. Please help her? Evelyn probably wouldn't be able to get Destiny away from the thing alone.

"C'mon Destiny. Save some for others. And you have chocolate all over your face and hands." Of course, why did there have to be a CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN? Hmmm? Who's bright idea was that?!

Glancing over at the two Gryffindors to see what they were up to, Evelyn took note of them still eating and such, and couldn't help but chuckle when she saw there was still a spot of frosting on Josh's face. He looked handsome either way, clean face or not.

....

He looked at her strangely. what was with her right now. "Er, yes? I was at the meeting with you?" He shook his head at her and then went to fill his plate with more food.

Aiden chuckled as he pulled back and clicked the button on the camera that allowed him to review the photo on the LCD screen. He grinned. "That is yearbook-worthy." He pocketed the digital gadget and grabbed a few grapes - she made them look so tasty. He then walked a few steps over and took a seat at one of the tables, expecting her to join him. "Maybe I should change your nickname to something to do with shampoo.." he mused.

Carter lead the way to the food table. He chuckled. "We did make something, but I don't think our dish made it on the menu. I don't blame them though." he said. "The dish we made sounds like someone is sneezing." he said as they arrived at the table.

"But Destiny and I did make sure this chocolate fountain was here." he said stopping right in front of it. "Hey everyone." he said. Yup, he expected to see Destiny here.

Kylie was being silly again. What did it LOOK like Destiny was doing?

She was enjoying the CHOCOLATE that was set out..just for her.

If she had to sit there and hug the fountain so no one else would touch it, she would. "What's it to ya?" she asked Kylie, as she moved the skewer away from Evelyn and pointed it towards the Huffie. Destiny knew what was going on..they were going to STEAL her fountain! She moved the skewer back and forth between Kylie and Evelyn.

Conspiracy!

As Evelyn started to speak, Destiny once again pointed her skewer at her. Probably a little too close she supposed since her friend moved it out of her face. She turned to face the fountain and..

DOINK

The skewer was no longer in her hand and she was being pushed AWAY from the chocolate. "Wait! I have to get my cat." And a napkin since she was told she had chocolate on her face and hands. Breaking free of Evelyn, she rushed back to the table, and instead of picking up her cat she picked up a cup and shoved it into the fountain. Mwaha!

She quickly downed the chocolate in the cup and once again squashed the cup in her hands. Chuckling evilly that Evelyn didn't stop her, she picked up a napkin to clean herself off. Okay..she needed more than one napkin, but she did just DRINK two cups of chocolate FONDUE. Tossing the napkins and cup in the trash bin, she turned at the sound of Carter's voice, "LOOK CARTER!" she exclaimed, then in a whisper she added, "It's a chocolate FOUNTAIN!"

Where did her SKEWER go!?

Miles laughed and pulled Fia towards the food table. He could swear he saw Torin over here earlier. "Of course. Food might as well be my middle name instead of Naismith." Looking around he spotted Torin and grinned, "TORRRRRRRRRRRR!!!" He smirked as he went up to his friend and patted him on the back. "Hi Gold," he added with a smile and reached passed them both for a plate and started loading things on.

"So you're the one behind this." she said accusingly to Carter and pointing a finger at him as if ratting him out to someone. "Do you have any idea what chocolate does to Destiny?"

However, she wasn't able to yell at the Gryffindork anymore since Destiny somehow got herself away from Evelyn. Eesh. All but punched her she did. At least Evelyn knew now that the girl could get out of trouble if needed. But, before she even realized what was going on, Destiny was picking up another cup and...

*shiver* That is so...stomach churning. Gross. Unnatural.

"Carter. I hate you." she mumbled, watching Destiny squish the second cup and finally clean her face off. Evelyn stood there, in defeat and horror. Perhaps she could escape and leave the Slytherin with Carter and Kylie? Yes?

Yes, it was to be done. "Well, i have two lovely people that i should be, getting back to..." RUN AWAY! Back to the safety of Josh and Patroclus. At least they were scarfing down chocolate cake instead of drinking it.

People were being noisy and drinking out chocolate fountains and Nico seemed to be caught up mingling again. Feeling oddly claustrophobic, Celestina smiled meekly at Fran. "Yeah, well, I'm going to go find a place to get some fresh air. I'll see you again in a bit."

Which she would, without a doubt. It was hard to stay hidden from people in this ball. What a task!

Breathing, Celestina placed one hand over her stomach before moving away from the food table.

"That would be chocolate or...better yet, Cocoa." Now there was a name for Miles. Teee heee! COCOA AND FIFI! What a pair! Fia began to laugh even harder at the images that began to form in her head. It was good times inside her head at the moment. "C-C-Co-" She stuttered, laughing the hardest she ever had before and then in a tiny voice, the only voice she could speak beyond the laughter. "Cocoa and FiFi." Yup! She was a nut. Anddd then there was the shouting of Torin's name. "Gold? Where's Gold?" She wanted to chat with Gold a bit more, someone she very rarely was able to talk too.
