Kat was upset that she couldn't spot Marilyn anywhere. The one thing that Rafe had asked her to do for him she couldn't even do. Ugh! But she was not about to ask Lucy for help. For Lucy and Marilyn do not get along. So instead she said "Uh..no one in particular" She smiled and looked back down at her plate. Playing with her food she started thinking of places where she could find Marilyn.

He had to admit he was surprised that she hadn't just returned the nod and gone onto other business, and blinked as she slid over and held her hand out in greeting. It was a natural reaction to reach out and shake it and he only realized after he had done so, and after he had taken a quick survey of the table that he hadn't knocked anything over or elbowed anyone. He silently thanked Lady Luck again, but vaugely wondered how long he would restrain his clumsiness.

Obviously not very long as he realized he hadn't said anything to Evie yet and so, as per usual, he stumbled over his words in an attempt to compensate for his absentness, or his absentness caused the rush of air and vocalization; he wasn't ever too sure which was which. "Hi. Sorry. Sabel." He grimaced; he had never been good at introductions. "Sabel Dakest. Pleasure to meet you."

Jack's attention was drawn back to Legend, who thought he was being soooo smart and clever right now. PSSH. The thing was, Jack was SMARTER than him. Hehehe. "Oh, I'm not worried about the points. That's not true about the other Gryffie's though, and when they go looking for someone to blame they're NOT going to be mad at me. They're going to go looking for whatever smart mouthed little third year LOST all those points. Can't blame me though--it's just my job," he said with a dramatic little sigh.

Oh yes. Legend had just been PWNED.

Now, back to the Crazeh Ladies. He looked up at the Ravenclaw newcomer...poor girl. All she wante was to find the toliets and instead she had gotten sucked up in whatever was going on here.

"I'm just afraid if we let them wander, they'll end up hurting themselves or doing something really crazy," he said in a soft voice. "If the Headmaster hadn't ordered all students back to their seats, I'd go get the Healer and see if she can do anything but until then...I don't think they're DANGEROUS. They're just a danger to themselves," he said with a frown.

He then turned to Alexa and Enid. "A loo? Oh, its a term that one uses to describe a, umm..." he tried to think back to History of Magic...how long ago were toliets invented?! Surely not in Shakespeare's day. "It's similar to an outhouse. It's where they house chamber pots," he said. Good Merlin he needed to go back to History 101 because he had no idea what he was talking about, he was certain.

"Tori!" Carter said happily. He leaned over and gave her a hug. He began piling up food on his plate. "How was your summer? I feel like I haven't seen you in forever."

"And you" Evie said. She thought he looked surprised at her greeting but it didn't bother her one bit she always tried to be unpredictable. "So Sabel" she said "you in fourth or fifth year?" she asked she was good at guessing things so she was pretty sure he was one of them.

The third year had been stuffing his face with food when he heard Jack's reply. Oh. So Jack thought he was sooo cool? His comeback was sooooo awesome? This certainly meant war. WAR.

"'ifssen." Legend started but stopped as he remembered his mouth was full of food. Swallowing he started again. "Listen Fritzera. Sure the Gyffies might get mad at me. But in the end I can just go and blame you for being a big fat bully to a innocent third year." Legend didn't really care if the whole Gryffindor population was mad at him. They would up gaining the points back. Plus how much could Jack take off? 5 points ohhh he was so scared.

Grabbing a spoonful of macaroni and cheese he flung it right at the seventh year. "Oops. My hand slipped this time."

Never start war with a third year.

"I can't wait to go into the Common Room and hang out in there", said Ginny dancing on her toes. "I've heard that it is pretty big and comfortable. The armchairs and the fire". "Oh and how good it looks", she added.

Brant Ate a spoon full of Potatoes and then started to work on His Chicken. After his second bite something was deffently wrong. He started to get cold sweats and started to shake, He looked down and things were blurry. His hands were a tint shade of Green "Omg, Why am... I ..'oing Green?" he thought. Brant needed some help but right now he was too weak to ask for any.

Letting out a heavy, internal sigh that expressed itself as relief in a small smile, Sabel took back his hand, glad she hadn't cared about his poor introduction. "I'm in fourth." He gave her a small smile. "You have a keen eye of observation." He considered her for a moment, trying to judge what grade she was in. "And you are in..." A small wince of unsurity crossed his face. He didn't like making false assumptions and so decided it was probably best to leave it as an open question. That and one of the students near him was acting strange, cutting off his thoughts.

Blinking, Sabel looked over at the older student, his eyes widening a fraction at the color of his hands. Either he had dunked them in some very interesting paint, for which he could not fathom a logical reason- it wasn't Saint Patrick's Day- or something was wrong. Judging by the sweats he looked to be the latter, and Sabel case Evie a worried glance before looking to the older boy. "Hey, are you alright?" He reached out to put a steadying hand on the other boy's shoulder.

"Hey, you okay man?" Carter asked looking up from his food. That guy didn't look so well. ... And that guy was wearing the Quidditch Captain bage... which meant Jack wasn't captain anymore. Well, hopefully this was making a good impression on the new captain. (Not that that was his intention of course. He did look a bit green?)

"i'm a firsty, small, cute and lost and all that other fluff" Evie said rolling her eyes the only thing she hated about this place was being the smallest she thought she was mature for her age. " tell me Sabel the fouth yr, is the common room as awesome as they say?"

Someone was talking to Brant but he couldn't register who was talking to him. Then he spoke softly and a bit slurred. "I..Think I 'eed 'ome water." He was getting worried about the color of his hands. Why was everything getting so blurry?. Then someones hands were on him. He thought. Something was deffently wrong. What did he eat.

"I sure hope it is fun!" Gwen replied. "What do you think you are looking forward to most while here, Rex?"

"Oh, really?" asked Gwen. For some strange reason she imagined thin, wiry beds, and old moth-eaten couches. She didn't know why, and now that she came to think about it, they could all perform magic, so why wouldn't they have magnificent things?

"Wow, I can't wait to get a look at that! Where are the common rooms anyways? None of the books I skimmed through mentioned them," Gwen said.

Sabel looked at the young man with green hands in worry, appologizing to Evie as he reached across the table and grabbed the pitcher of water, pouring the boy some water while keeping one eye on him. Putting a hand back on Brant's shoulder, Sabel offered him the glass, having the unnerving feeling he might have to be rushed to the infirmiry. Lady Luck help them; he had no idea where that was. He spared a glance at the other boy who had spoken up, hoping that he, at least, would know should they have to rush the Quiddich Captin he realized, to the infirmiry.

"Here." He held the cup to the boy's lips; he didn't look like he could hold it on his own. "Drink slowly."

Sabel cast Evie a small smile, worried about the boy beside him. "I hope that is not a sarcastic tone, Evie. Each has his or her own personality, and each is unique and important to their tasks. Small, cute and lost are good attributes. And I would have pegged you for at least a second year with your matiurity." He had to remind himself that the key to handing an emergency situation was remaining calm, and the only way he could think of was to keep up the conversation.

"Aannndd..." He trailed, glancing back to Brant to check on him. "I'm a transfer student. I haven't seen the common room, and I have no idea where the infirmiry is..."

Brant took the water and instantly dropped the goblet. "I 'eed the Nurse!" Brant managed to spit out. before dropping to the ground.

That was it. All calm and composure was gone as Sabel jumped to his feet, trying to catch the boy before he hit the ground too hard. Kneeling on the floor and holding him from its cold surface, and to make sure he wouldn't thrash around and hurt himself, Sabel's eyes snapped up, shouting at anyone at the table that would listen. "SOMEONE GET THE NURSE! QUICKLY! PLEASE!!"

He wished desperately he knew where the nurses where. He would have to take his best guess if no one moved in the next few seconds. Or if no one told him where the infirmary was; he wasn't sure if he could carry the Quiddich Captain, but he realized he might have to try.

"Well then" Evie said trying to think of something to say and she finally said "thanks" She looked to see the fuss "is he ok" she asked looking at the boy beside Sabel now she could see him he did look a funny colour.

Sabel's eyes snapped to Evie and he blurted out the first thing he had in mind. "Evie. I need you to go get help from the head table! Please?!" He had to try something.

"Brant was not sure where he was, and he couldn't make out the faces around him, Someone needed to bring him to the staff table. He didn't care how he got there dragged or carried. He needed the nurse. He couldn't even hear anything"

Well at least now Carter would have the chance to beet the new nurse. He jumped over the table to behind where the quidditch captain was. He made sure to keep his head elevated slightly in case he spit up again. He was still breathing, that was a good sign. All that work with his muggle doctor parents, and being in the hospital wing with Healer Melita seemed to be a help. He didn't look bad enough not to be moved. Just like he ate something bad. He started hoisting him off the ground.

Relieved that someone else at the table was now in action, and seemed to be knowledgeable in what he was doing, Sabel moved to help pick Brant off the ground. "I'll take his legs if you want to get his arms, and we'll get him up to the staff table. Perhaps we should say we have conquered Sparta as an explanation for this?" It probably wasn't the best time for a wise crack, but he couldn't help it; his verbal filter had fallen off for the sake of concern and panic. Standing, he helped the other boy carry the Quiddich Captain to the staff table.

"Was he being moved?. He couldn't feel the cold hard ground any more. What was going on. It was like he was floating, but he could hear faint voices in the background."

Carter nodded as he lifted the captain's upper body off the floor. He laughed a bit at the joke. "I'm Carter by the way." he said feeling the need to introduce himself. He realized he didn't know anyone other than his group of friends and his fellow teammates from last year. "I was on the quidditch team last year. So I guess it's only fitting that I help the new one out." he said nodding down to the guy he was helping take to the staff table.

Relieved that he wasn't scorned for making a joke over a seziuring man, Sabel gave Carter a small smile. Seemed more than a fitting time for introductions. "Sabel Dakest. I'm a transfer student so I really don't know how things work around here yet." He glanced down at the Quiddich Captain in worry as they shuffled to the staff table.

Alex felt a hand on her shoulder and she heard someone whisper beside her. She turned around to see Lucille crouching there beside her. "Heyy.." She whispered back.

"It is okay, sore but healed. The healer said it would be sore for a few days, but other than that I am as good as new." She smiled warmly at her little brothers girl friend. "It was an accident dear, and I don't blame you for anything okay?" She said softly. "Besides, I shouldn't have been hiding from Torin in the first place." She smiled a bit. "No worries.." She turned back to Chris to respond to him.


Alex giggled a bit as Chris spoke, "Okay, I guess that you are stuck with me!" She stuck her tongue out at him and then laughed. "Good! I wouldn't have it any other way!!" She grinned as he suddenly looked down at the plate which had filled with food. "Well, after the headmaster gives his speech, Which he did awhile ago..The food appears on the plates. And now we can eat until it is time to go to bed!! Magic is wonderful!" She said with a grin.

Ahhh he had asked the magic question, and to give the magic answer, she had to get close. "Well.." She said as she leaned in and lowered her voice to a whisper so only he could hear what she was saying. "We sneak into the kitchens and take the food. If you are good, you can get out with alot.. What do you say? Are you up for it?" She asked with a smile as she pulled back from him. They had been pretty close there for a few seconds.. and she tried to ignore the fast pace of her heartbeat. "This will be the best Thunderstorm ever!" She said with a grin.

Alex giggled a bit, as she tilted her head a bit. "Really? Well I guess us Gryffindors were never known for our grades, we are the brave one.. Who bravely fail classes." She snickered a bit. "Good! I shall be up to the challenge! How about, next week, down at the lake. I shall show you where it is! How about we meet there, and see ehh?" She asked smiling.

Her smile faded a bit however as she felt his hand on her cheek, and to her horror she could feel herself starting to blush again. His words were so sweet and heartfelt.."Thank you." She said softly, as she looked into his beautiful eyes. She could feel herself melting a bit.. and so she attempted to focus on his next question. "Oh, well I kinda broke my ribs after we talked, and they just got healed before you showed up.. soo They are a bit sore." She said with a sheepish smile.
