"Great!" replied Gwen. Its was a great feeling to already be making friends.

"So, what do you think you are looking forward to most about Hogwarts?" she asked Ginny, quite interested in what she would reply.

"Hi," said Gwen, "My name is Guenevere, Gwen for short."

Gwen thought when she should just start calling herself Gwen instead of always introducing herself as Guenevere.

"We're both first years. There seems to be quite a few of us, actually. This is great," exclaimed Gwen with a smile.

"Oh, a fourth year! How cool," said Gwen. "What school did you go to before Hogwarts?"

"Oh, thanks," Gwen said, in regard to her name compliment. "My mom thought Guenevere was a nice name. Guenevere was originally a Celtic Princess, and was Queen of England along side King Arthur until she committed Adultery with Sir Lancelot," Gwen laughed. She doesn't know why she was telling this stranger this, but the background behind her name was quite interesting.

"Guenevere is correctly spelt, Guinevere, but I like it my way," she finshed.

"Hello," said Gwen to another nearby person. This boy was reading to himself, so Gwen was unsure about approaching him. She thought, though, that she would want to make a friend whether she was reading or not, so she finally said hi.

"My name is Gwen. Are you a first year as well?"

"Oh well nice to meet you." she said blushing a bit. She couldn't really remember the last time someone had called her pretty. "Please tell Jason I say hi." she smiled.
Demetria stuck her tongue out at Chris and smiled. Yes! A seat next to someone I actually know! she thought. She gave Rex a sweet smile and said "It was lovely talking to you, Rex. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go sit next to my cousin, Chris. Haven't seen him all summer." she said polietly and went to go sit next to him. "Hey Chris." she took the seat next to him. "Thanks for hanging out with me this summer." Demetria teased and playfully knudged him.

Lucy was distracted by a voice--it was Kat's. She looked up as she walked to her, Tyler, and Blakey, and smiled at her.

"We didn't leave you! Ty abducted me," She said innocently, pointing in Ty's direction.

"So, what do you do when it rains?" he asked her. "Where do you eat? I mean, its England, so there's typically a lot of rain..." he said, still frowning up at the ceiling. "Thunder? Its the lightning that's scary!" he said with a laugh. "But even then, I love to watch a good Thunderstorm. I can never bring myself to actually fear Lightning," he said, smiling at her.

"Well, I certainly intend to do so! There's a lot that I'm sure I don't know... that only experience can teach!" he said with a laugh. "Well, at least we are in the same house," he said with a grin.

He settled down into his seat and nodded to those students sitting there as well. "Yes, without you it would have been quite a mess," he said with a grin. "Just like my juggling those flaming knives," he said with a grin. He glanced down and noticed her rubbing her hand. "Are you alright? I know that I can have a strong grip..." he said with an apologetic smile.

"Oh did he now?" She asked as she sat down. She glared at Tyler and started grabbing some food. She turned back to Lucy and her friend "Hey" She said kindly to him and smiled. She turmed her attention to the people around her tring to spot the one person she really needed to talk to. Marilyn.

Enid wanted to scream. This was TERRIBLE! The king would arrive any second and she and Alexa were still in peasants' robes! They were definitely going to be banished for this! Oh no, oh no, oh no... "Lady Alexa!" Enid turned and placed her hands on Alexa's small shoulders with great force. "Doth thou know what this mean?! We shalt be banished! Thy grace the King of Hog-warts will arrive and banish us for being with the peasants, for dressing like the peasants! We must get our gowns before he arrives!" said Enid, all the urgency in the world ringing in her voice. "Hurry thee, we must find our gowns before it is too late!" She continued, now jumping up from her seat hurriedly, accidentally knocking over the first year that had been sitting beside her and receiving quite some abuse that night - all unintentional, of course.

Lady Alexa clutched at the front of her own robes with a confused look upon her face. Turning to Lady Enid she nodded infatically and jumped up to follow after her. "We shall most surely be banished if we do not make haste, Lady Enid"

Brant spotted a couple of younger students and he wanted to go over there and introduce himself, so he could get them come to the Quidditch Try-outs later on in the term. Then he noticed. Alexandra, "Hey Alexandra, Nice to see you again. Your gonna try out this year right" he asked her for she was great last Term. Brant ran his hands through his hair and chuckled.

An almost breathless Enid came to an abrupt halt at the Entrance Hall. "Come, Lady Alexa, we haven't much time!" she said, taking the girl's small hand and leading her up the stairs at lightning speed. They had to get their gowns before the king arrived or else this would be the end of their stay at the Castle of Hog-Warts!

As a young peasant boy addressed her she looked up at him, clearly confused. "Try out for what, dear boy? I am royalty, I try out for nothing." she said before running away with Lady Enid....

As Ladies Alexa and Enid took off she heard the King of Hog-Warts begin to make his speech. "O, Lady Enid, I fear we shall be too late." she exclaimed as she was being dragged away by the older girl.

Brant was taken back. "Well Then never mind, But if you do change your mind later I wouldn't be too bad to try out this year. Always great to try out for the Quidditch Team ya know?" He started to walk around some more maybe he could run into someone he knew. Plus he didn't really like how a second year Gryffindor was calling Him boy?, but he didn't bring that up. Brant thought that he was deffently a man. or becoming a man.

"Nooooooooo!" Enid's forehead creased and her large green eyes turned saddened at the sound of Alexa's words. They would be banished, this was it! This was the end of their stay at the Castle of Hog-warts! "This... this... we're banished, Lady Alexa! We're too late!" she exclaimed, sitting down on one of the steps and covering her face with both hands. "Oh this is horrible; HORRIBLE! My mother and father were some of the king's favourite chamberlains! It was the only reason he took humble Lady Enid as one of his own daughters! But not anymore - I can't even be prepared properly for his annual speech! I'm done for, Lady Alexa! This is the end of my stay in this castle!" she sobbed into her hands.

Alex laughed a bit more as Chris asked about what happened when it rained. "Well, it is just enchanted to look like that sky. That is all. It doesn't actually rain inside. That would be rather messy." She grinned a bit as her gray eyes looked around the Great hall. Though she could remember when the school had flooded. That had been.. interesting. "Well, I guess it is the sound that scares me. Lighting is beautiful, a kind of terrible, awesome beauty. But a beauty none the less. It is the sound, the rolling rumbling sounds, that just chills me." She shrugged a little "Well, I can watch the Thunderstorm with you, but I won't listen to it." She said with a grin.

"Yes it is a very very good thing." She grinned at him. It was a very good thing indeed!

"Yes it would have been, you might have ended up sitting with a group of hufflepuffs, and not know what was going on!" She chuckled a bit. "Well, as long as we have my water, things are okay!" She laughed a bit more.. "Oh no... it is fine. My hand just felt a bit..warm that is all." She said smiling.

Now Alexa was talking to him all weird too? She DID realize that he was not in on this whole joke, right? "My title? I'm Head Boy...I just told you that," he said, staring at her with wide eyes. Just as he was about to ask her WHAT was going on, the other girl jumped up and started to make a run for it. Convinced that this was not a joke anymore (if it was, they were VERY good actresses!) he approached her cautiously. Jack was NOT good with crying girls. Nooooooo way.

"Erm, excuse me, are you ok?" he asked her. "I'm Head Boy, maybe I can help you!"

Lady Alexa and Lady Enid made haste... and then the King began his speech and they knew it was over... they just knew it. She was barely aware of Lady Enid was saying to her, her heart was breaking.

The royal Head Boy... hmmm there is a title she had never heard... was approaching and offering his help. FINALLY! Someone who realized who they were.

Lady Alexa patted Lady Enid on the back as she spoke to the Head Boy, "Thank you most kindly, Master Head Boy, thou art most helpful indeed. You see, we fear we may be banished by the King for wearing such.. such.. unsatisfactory clothing to keep company with our King. We tried to have our maid fetch our gowns, but she thinkest we crazy. We do not understand what is happening here. Doth thou believe thou canst assist us, kind sir?"

Enid was sobbing sorrowfully into her hands, it was as if she had just heard her whole family had just perished in a terrible accident or something; all the sadness in the world echoed in her voice as she continued sobbing into her hands before looking up as they were approached by the Head Boy. Sniffling, she looked up at him with large, saddened green eyes that were now a bit red from all the crying she had just made.

But Enid didn't need to respond to his question as Alexa had already done so for the both of them, explaining to the boy their troubles. "Oh, it's hopeless, Lady Alexa!" said Enid with a sigh. "The only way thy grace the King would forgive us would be if... well, if someone convinced him so!" And then Enid, who had now been staring down at her feet, looked up at the Head Boy again. "How close, exactly, is thy relationship with thy grace, kind sir? Perhaps thou canst help us! Perhaps thou could speakest to the king and convince him to be in our favour! O, would you do that for us, kind sir, would you please?!" she nearly begged now.

Natasha sat down by the Head Boy, she did not know him, but he could help, right? "Hey," she said with a small smile. "They were talking like, well, in Olde English since I came over here. Do you know what's, er, going on?" She asked him.

Jack was convinced that the one girl--Enid, he discovered--was completely loony. That didn't explain why Alexa was suddenly going along with it, though. Ummm...ok...he didn't want to go tell them that they WEREN'T in a castle with a king and whatever else they had fashioned in their minds. WHY had they not trained him for this when he got the badge?!

"You see what you're wearing? These uniforms?" he said, pointing to their Gryffindor robes. "We're ALL wearing those! So you're not going to be banished for, erm...not wearing your gowns. I promise," he told them. Hmmm, should he go get Healer Ashford and have her do some sort of mental check or something?

"I can't go speak to them, um, king right now," he said, glancing at the Headmaster. That WAS who she was referring to, right? "He's a bit busy with his, umm...court?" Not to mention he had barely said two words to him since he had gotten there.

"Maybe you should try and eat? That way you won't anger the king by refusing his delicious food," he suggested. Maybe getting some food in their systems would bring them back to their senses.

He almost wished they would yell "GOTCHA!" and stop all this nonsense, even if that WOULD embarrass him, proving that he had fallen for their little prank.

Oh my goodness, the food! It was bad enough they weren't dressed properly, they couldn't refuse his food too! They wouldn't just be banished then - they'd be beheaded as well! Oh no, oh no, oh no! Enid was back on her feet in a flash. "Come, Lady Alexa, we mustn't anger his grace the king any more than we already have! Perhaps we'll have a chance!" she said, taking Alexa's smaller hand.

"Yeah, they do seem completely serious." She looked at the two girls. Okay, so it was sorta crazy and she didn't know what to think. But it was kind of amusing. That was Hogwarts for you, she supposed.

Chris nodded as he continued to look up at the ceiling. "That makes a lot more sense... I was beginning to get worried about winter," he said with a crooked grin. He nodded in agreement as she described the storm and grinned at the thought of watching one. "The view would probably be fantastic from one of the towers I saw... I might have to take you up on that offer," he said with a grin. The height of the tower might bother him, but as long as he wasn't dangling out of the window, he would be fine. "We shall invest in a good pair of earplugs," he said with a nod.

He laughed as she repeated what he had said. "And to think that just a short time ago, you were a reluctant Gryffindor!" he said with a laugh. He nodded as she talked about where he would have ended up. "Who knows... maybe I would have ended up at the Head Table- that would have left a good impression with the teachers," he said with a slight grimace. He laughed at the thought of her water. "What if I make the flames so that you can't put them out with water?" he asked her with a mischevious grin.

He glanced down at her hand and smiled, but didn't have a comment for the matter. He just... smiled.

Lady Alexa blinked severeal times, trying to figure things out. She had been fine... before... she couldn't remember feeling weird before she drank that pumpkin juice. She had bought the small pitcher of PJ in Diagon Alley before leaving for King's Cross... Hmmmm... odd.. anywhoooo.

Lady Enid had stopped her crying and was talking to their maid and the Head Boy... Food. Yes they must dine on the King's feast.

Nodding her head she said, "Yes, yes. Let us dine. We musn't offend His Royal Highness anymore this eve if we wish to remain in this humble abode. Let us dine and be merry... perhaps the King will forgive us for wearing these peasants robes..." She could hope.. that was all she could do.

Evie looked around the great hall no wonder they called it the great hall it was bigger than she could have imagined. The headmaster had finished talking and everyone was eating Evie looked around the table for something to eat. She picked up a chicken leg and chewed, while looking for someone to talk to.This year is going to be so great she thought.

Brad noted that there was a girl close to him."Hi there.I'm Brad Coldwater.Are you another first year?"He asked the girl.

Oh good! He had least got them preoccupied for the time being. "Oh, didn't someone inform you? These aren't peasant clothes--this is all the rage now! Everyone wears these, even people of high status," he said. It was a stretch, but he didn't want them freaking out any more, thinking they were going to be kicked out of school.

Now that they were eating, he looked around. The Headmaster had just given his speech, so hopefully they'd be dismissed soon...then he could take them STRAIGHT to the hospital wing and Ashford could fix whatever the heck was wrong with them.

He didn't need any loony Gryffindors running around the common room. No sirrrrrr.
