"Well when my brother came here he said that it is in Gryffindor Tower", said Ginny. "I not sure where Gryffindor Tower is exactly", said Ginny sadly. "Well I think we will be sharing a dorm. What do you think?".

"Ah, a tower," Gwen said, wonderingly. "Thats great! I bet we'll have an amazing view of the Castle surrounding area, then! How amazing."

She started to picture giant mountains, and that huge black lake...

"Yes, I think we will be sharing a dormitory. Don't all first years share one? Or do they mix them up," asked Gwen, curiously.

Lucy narrowed her eyes at Kat for a moment, but then rolled her eyes. Probably some guy she liked or something. She poured herself a goblet of pumpkin juice and drank some. It tasted weird to her for some reason. She licked her lips, wanting the taste to go away.

"Have you tasted this stuff?" She asked Kat, and Tyler, if he was still there and not sleeping or something. "'Cause it tastes weird."

"No I'm pretty sure that first years share", said Ginny confidently. You're right we will get a great view of the castle and the grounds.

Ginny thought herself on her bed staring out the windows and watching everything. The Black Lake and everything.

"I can't wait to share with you Gwen".

Evie had frozen. Sabel had asked her to get help but she had frozen and they were already half way to the staff table without thinking she jumped from her seat and ran to the staff table as she passed Sabel and the other boy carrying the boy, she said "i'll get help" she ran ahead to the staff table. She didn't know who was the nurse so she just stood and told the first professor she could see that there was trouble.

"Do I wanna taste it?" Tyler asked and looked at the food. He had seen what happened to the buy who turned green and just fell. Ty poked his food and pushed the food away. "Uhh, I think I'll pass for tonight at least," he said and sighed. "Too young to die right now without living the best of life," he mumbled, as he heard his stomach growl a bit.

The boy was being taken care of .Evie was relieved Sabel and the other guy had gotten the boy to the staff and to the hospital safely, but thats all she had heard. She went back to the table and sat down after the boys started talking to the teachers. After all the comotion she didn't really feel hungry anymore.

Lucy looked at him--so he wasn't sleeping. She had heard his stomach growling and chuckled.

"I never thought I would mistrust Hogwarts food," She said with a frown as she pushed her goblet away as well.

Turning to him though, she said, "The best of your life? What's that supposed to be?" Her eyebrows raised. Probabaly to go to jail for real, she thought, and smiled to herself.

Returning to the Gryffindor table, Sable caught sight of the girl he had been talking to before the commotion of Brant passing out; Evie was her name. Letting out a heavy sigh he came up beside her, pointing to the empty seat to her left, his voice heavier than he wanted it to be; frustrated and upset, though not with her. "Is this seat taken?" He tried to force a small smile.

"not yet" she said with a smile "how r things going?" Evie asked he looked a little frustrated to her, but maybe it was just her.

A faint smile touched the corner of his mouth as he accepted the seat with a quiet thank you, folding his hands on the table in front of himself and picking at his thumbnail. A disgusting habit he knew, but one of anxiety he hadn't been able to break yet.

He was silent a long moment before speaking, figuring it was best, for once, to choose his words carefully. "I got in a bit of an argument with one of the staff members...." He trailed off, glancing at where Brant was. "But he seems to be fine, so its all good." He pulled his hands apart to rest easily on the table and forced a smile he hoped would pass as genuine.

Lady Alexa listened in as the Royal Head Boy yammered on about dangers and Healers.. stuff she didn't understand, nor did she care about. Then he touched on what exactly a loo was.

A look of shock and disgust can across her face. "You mean this peasant has asked where the chamber pots are housed. Gracious no!" she exclaimed, clutching her chest dramatically.

Turning to Landy Enid she said, "This commoner wishes you to direct her to the chamber pots, Lady Enid. This is a most horrifying request. The peasant should find the chamber pots herself." Flipping her hair over her shoulder Landy Alexa eyed the peasant girl with a look of disgust evident on her face.

"ohh an argument that sucks." Evie sympathised with him and then tried to lighten the mood "put on a better smile, there's nothin to worry about and if you want you can make a fool of yourself and skip up and down the hall" Evie said trying to make him smile "if you skip you can feel nothing but happy" she explained "and i know that from experience" she added with one of her smiles.

Sabel was geniuenly surprised at Evie's words, staring at her with a dumbfounded expression he didn't even try to hide. He could feel the words gnawing at his insides, keeping the smile from spreading across his face, confining it to the corner of his mouth. She was brilliant, and her idea sounded amazing, except for one small aspect.

Letting out a heavy breath, Sabel looked at her, not sure how well this would go over, making sure to keep his voice down, between the two of them. "It cost Gryffindor two points." He waited to be slaughtered; by her or those surrounding him.

"and..." Evie said thinking that there was more but obviously there wasn't "don't worry about it" Evie said "we can get the points back and i bet you anything that other houses have already lost some points as well" Evie said trying to make him feel better "and when we get up to our dorms I am ordering you to skip around in yours for at least half an hour" Evie smiled and hoped he was feeling better.

Severia walked past the Gryffindor table after making sure that Brant was okay. She noticed one of the boys that carried him to the staff table. "That was an exciting way to start the term wasn't it?" She said with a slight hint of sarcasm. "Hi, I'm Severia. Thanks for taking care of Brant. I would hate if anything horrible happened to my first real friend on the first day, well ever really"

Enid gasped as Alexa explained to her that all along, the commoner had been asking her to show her the way to the bathroom - or, in Enid's Shakespearean mind - the outhouse. "O, Merlin!" She turned to Gwen and then back to the other two. "Well, it is a rather... dirty task, this that the commoner asks me to help her with, but O, Alexa, who am I to deny a kind soul help?" she asked, her forehead beginning to crease. She couldn't help but feel terrible for the poor little peasant; what if she had diarrhea or something? It would be a crime not only to her but to everyone else in the room not to show her to the nearest bathroom! "I shalt help her, Lady Alexa - I must, it is my duty as a royal; I must help those less fortune than myself, even if this means accompanying them to... the 'loo'." And so, Enid turned back to Gwen and waved her hands at the girl, gesturing her to get moving. "Come on, now, kind peasant, I shalt help thee."

Again, Sabel was surprised by her. And this time, he couldn't help but smile, or salute for that matter, as his hand came up to his forehead in a soldier like motion. "Aye aye General Evie." A genuine smile finally broke over his face as he lowered his hand, watching her. "You are definetly more mature than your age." He waggled a finger at her playfully. "Mind you I don't say that to many people who suggest skipping for half hour as a remidy." He had to admit, he liked her attitude.

Blinking up at the familiar voice, Sabel pulled his finger back in, his smile falling to one of sympathy. "No need to thank me. I'm just glad he's okay and the nurse was able to help him." He extended his hand in greeting. "I'm Sabel Dakest." He indicated to Evie. "This is Evie."

Wow. Smooth introduction. He glanced at Evie, wondering somewhere in the back of his mind if she had anything to do with that ease.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Sable and Evie." She said shaking his hand. "I suppose I should get back to my table now. Maybe I'll see you too around sometime. Thank you again." Severia said again before bowing slightly and turning to walk away.

Evie smiled and laughed as he saluted, she liked his response to her most people thought she was just weird. "who likes people who are predictable" Evie said with a smile she was happyto be here.

"hi, i'm... well actually you know who i am" Evie said remembering that Sebel had already intoduced her.

"bye" Evie put in quickly but Severia had already walked away.

Sabel gave Severia a small wave as she left. "Take care."

Letting out a small sigh he turned his attention back to Evie, smiling still from her effective remidey of, well, smiling and laughing. "You're right. Predictable people are rather stagnant aren't they?" An idea came to mind and his smile widened. "I'll have to remember to introduce you to some...interesting people. I think you may like them."

Ginny: Yeah, But it's okay, muggleborns always succeed sHE chuckled. Hey!, If you don't mind me asking, do you have siblings here? Jecca asked her.

"hmmm" Evie said "sure i'd love to meet some...interesting people, i'm pretty sure i'll like them too" Evie added smiling again "so...do you have any family that go here?" asked Evie she was always curious.

"No not here", said Ginny. "They have all left", she said looking down at her feet.

Once again, Sabel found himself playing out various scenarios in his mind's eye of the unpredicatbleness that could ensue this year. Heck, it had already started.

Glancing over at Evie, he saw that she was smiling again, and like a contagious disease, he found himself smiling more. He had to admit, it felt good to be around her; she was high spirited and positive, traits very few people possessed anymore. "I don't have family here. I came over from Canada. How about you?"

He picked up the water jug, nodding at her glass. "Would you like some?"
