Thomas entered the common room quickly with a small bag full of fresh sweets. He walked towards the dorm and took out his secret safe which his father casted a spell that only Thomas can open the safe. He opened the safe and inside it was all his candy, muggle candy and wizard candy he rarely opens it unless he wants to add more candy. He put all his candy in the safe and before closing it he took out a half eaten packet of Bertie Botts beans and one pepper imp. He closed the safe and walked back to the dorm to keep his safe safe.

Bored after reading books and doing homework, Michelle decided it was finally time to have some fun here. Chelle decided to ckeck out some of the sweets she had bought from Honeydukes in Hogsmeade earlier. What was it called... they were somewhat like peppermints. She got up and brought the pack of sweets from her bedside drawer. Ahh... it was called Peppermint Humbugs. She popped one into her mouth and put the packet back into the drawer. Then she decided to move around the castle.

Keeley timidley entered the commen room. She had already gotten lost at least twice, and had no idea what in the world Hogsmeade was. She was doing very well in transfigurqtion, but herbology was so confusing! She sat down in an armchair in a bit of a mood, her waist length hair turning bubble gum pink with bright eyes to match.

"There you are," said Bella looking up from her book. "Have you gon to hogsmeade yet?" Bella asked Keeley. "I've been there and it is wonderful. Here, I got you some berties bots," said Bella handing Keeley the bag of beans, hoping she didn't sound perky. "You want me to show you were it is?"

Chelle entered the Ravenclaw common room again, after quite a bit of exploring the school. Upon enetring, what struck her as most surprising was a girl, whose hair was dyed bubblegum pink! `My, has your hair always been this color? It looks rather nice!' she exclaimed, speaking to the girl.
A moment later, Chelle realised that she had started a conversation with someone else without introducing herself. `Er...hello, my name is Chelle. I'm a first year,' she told to the two girls, and extended her right hand.

Keeley perked up at the sight of Bella and a new girl. "No, I haven't.. what exactly is it?" she said, hoping not to sound dumb. "But thanks for the beans, I love them!" Keeley then turned to the other girl... Chelle? Actually, no." she said, blushing a bit. But never the less, she did like to show off her talent a bit. "I'm a metamorphagus, or can change my appearance at will. See?" she said, as her hair went simultaniously blue and pink. She grinned, then asked, "Woul you guys both like to go to wherever Hogsmeade is?"

"I can show you the way," said Bella. "Chelle, would you like to come with us?" she asked.

Copernicus pulled up a cushion on the floor with his parchment and quill... and fancy set of Rowling Runes. Sigh. He let the Runes fall on the floor, studying their patterns as if it meant something.

Did it?

And where was Cel?

Cel was not far behind of course.

She skipped over and dropped to her knees across from Copernicus, big smile on her face.

"Homework? I haven't done mine either." Cela gave him a big eyed 'can't believe I haven't done homework!' look.

"Runes," he gathered his back into a little pile before shoving them into the bag. "You want me to do a reading for you? We'll make the runes tell us all about... I dunno." He studied her with his head tilted.

"What you should do after Hogwarts, maybe." About him.

Celandine nodded, tilting her own head in return.

She shifted to sit with her legs tucked underneath herself and looked down at the bag of runes. "That would work." Cela agreed and made a little suggestion of her own.

"Or... even about what I should do next year." When he wasn't around.

"It's the same thing, right?" He smiled at her warmly. It was... oddly comforting to know that Cela dreaded the end of the school year just as he did.

"I'll just... ask a general question about your future and see what we come up with." He shook the bag lightly and then pulled out the first rune. The past.



"Demiguise."

Celandine eyed the rune and chewed on her lip thoughtfully.

"Demiguise." She repeated and gave the rune a tiny prod with her little finger.

"Half-dressed?" Celandine asked with a giggle and gave her little skirt a tug.

"Could be." He chewed his lip before glancing down at his notes. "But I'm more inclined to believe that it has to do with feeling small or invisible. With the fact that you relied on others to make your decisions for you about your life and your future. Maybe sometimes you felt like... you didn't understand your own worth."

He peeked up at her with his too-bright intense look.

Celandine wrinkled her nose and nodded in reluctant agreement. Of course, the other side of that was that Copernicus had a tendency to think she was worth more than anything else around; Cela was confident but not... yeah. She relied on people all the time.

"Good. So we... draw again." He dropped the next rune on the floor, turning it around so Cela could see it.

"Quintaped."



"I guess this one's easy, right?" He laughed. "Hunger." Cope hummed over it a bit before adding, "I keep you from being able to focus. Do you feel like I"m keeping you from connecting to people around you? Like we're isolating ourselves?" Hopefully, that wasn't what it meant.

"It is hard to focus on... studying." Celandine answered, blushing at the 'hunger' part. "But I don't think I'm... isolated?" She looked around the common room and back at Copernicus. "Unless I'm the one doing the isolating. Like, to you from other people."

He shrugged. "Then it must not be true. I don't want to be a reason that you don't have time with your friends, just like I'm sure you're glad I get time with Plymouth sometimes. I know I was stupid jealous on the train about not getting enough Cela time, but I don't mean that. I don't want to be isolated."

He shook the bag lightly again. "What about fighting? We aren't fighting each other, but we sort of have to put on a front to the world since there are people who don't want us together."

"Ummm.... maybe you could duel me." Celandine suggested in an innocent tone. It would be awesome to practice against him after all.

She wrinkled her nose again thinking about the 'people'.

"They don't want me to be with anyone."

"Duel?" He smirked at her, reaching into the bag. "I don't want to hurt you, Celandine. And I would, you know. I am... a superior dueler." Or he would be if he practiced, perhaps. But he didn't. Sadly.

Last rune. The future. The big one.

"Graphorn?"

"Thats why I want to, Cope." Celandine answered. How else were you supposed to get better unless you challenged yourself?

Graphorn.

She eyed it hopefully and held her breath.

Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaphorn. Copernicus studied his notes before giving her a little grin. "Means maybe I can protect you, right? Or you can protect yourself. So that's one problem down. I would say the graphorn tells us that if you set that stubborn little jaw and take the chance to fight for what you want, you can have whatever your heart desires. A rich future. Love."

A tiny little smile quirked Cela's lips and she looked down at the rune, not quite able to respond to that.

After a minute she looked up.

"So, altogether...?"

He shrugged, but it was impossible not to smile at her a bit. "Altogether? June isn't the end of the road for us, but it won't be easy. We'll have to stick together and be each other's biggest fan."

No contest there, really. He already was her biggest fan.

"And its important that you remember that you have power over your own life. It might be easy to slip back into a pattern where you let other people decide what you need, but you deserve better than that. I don't want to tell you how to live your life."

Cope shook the bag of tiles at Cela. "If you still have to do your runes assignment, why not give me a reading? Same sort of deal. About the future."

June.

Celandine was beginning to dread June.

She offered a soft little smile and tucked his words away for mulling over later.

"I do!" Cela agreed, suddenly glad for it since it meant she could now do a reading on Copernicus. She gave him a brighter smile than what she had a moment ago and reached for the runes.

Well...

Nothing to invoke with the Rowling runes so...

Cela just kissed the little bag and focused on the question.

"Okay, so past first."



She eyed the rune a bit ruefully and looked up at Copernicus.

"Well... um... with Plymouth..." Cela shrugged apologetically. "I guess we both kind of... betrayed him and we were definitely confused, right? We were the two surviving heads I guess. And you were really indecisive about... well everything really. Not just me but like, what you were going to do with your career path and stuff, about like... doing what your father wanted or what you wanted."
