Eep.

She glanced back up at Perni after he tugged at her head, a little bit reluctantly. Looking back at him, straight in the eye, she listened to what he said next. Though a part of her wished that she could just run away to the Girls' Dormitory and hide under her bed sheets and never get up. At least until this nightmare was over.

Oh yahhh... right. Livvy had forgotten about that, which in truth, it was actually quite unforgettable. It had been most likely the main topic of gossip for quite some time. "But... ripping the bandage hurts," she protested, puckering her bottom lip. She no like pain.

Buuuuut... she might as well just say it right? At least she'd get it all over with. That was the only good thing about ripping off bandages. It was all over with and you didn't have to think about how painful it'd be when you ripped it, cuz' well... you already ripped it.

"Alright. Fine. I'll continue," Livvy said, sighing as she crossed her arms and hugged herself, urging herself to continue.

"Kay. So this girl, Sienna. She told me that she liked Reid and stupid me... had to be honest and tell her that I didn't like the guy. And well... one thing led to another... she told me of her plot to separate Rachel and Reid. And the horrible thing is. I agreed to help! I'm horrible! Horrible! HORRIBLE!" she said, her voice getting louder near the end and she buried her head once more in her arms. The girl had forgotten that she and Copernicus weren't alone, and she remembered as she looked back up at the other students.

Whoops. She'd have to control her emotions better.

Once she was calm once more, Livvy looked back at Perni. "Sorry," she muttered gently as her cheeks turned a shade of red and she looked away momentarily, but looked back to return to what she had been saying before. "And well... I don't know what happened. What had taken over me. But I helped. I helped alright. And I made a mess of things. I saw how unhappy Rachel had started to become... and I wanted to stop. But I was too far deep into it to get out. I told Sienna I didn't want anything to do with it and after Rachel and Reid had sorta been broken up... she found out. And she hates me now. She should. I'm a horrible friend."

Well that was over with. Sighing, Livvy laid her head back on her arms, facing Copernicus, and rocked herself back and forth once more as she felt a feeling of uneasiness surge through her. Yet... a feeling of relaxation.

Virgi entered the common room again and sat down at a study table and did her HoM homework. The Statue of Secrecy...

When she finished she headed to the girls dormitories and went up.

Leanne wandered aimlessly through the Ravenclaw common room. She had stared at the statue of Rowena Ravenclaw at least 5 times! Sighing, she headed over to the couches and sat down. She really should be doing her History of Magic homework but she just didn't understand it! She listened in class but somehow, nothing seemed to soak into her brain. Leaning her head back, Leanne threw her hands over her eyes and prayed that Skye would come in and help her with her HoM homework.

Satine glanced back to hear him reading his letter to his mother..."O no no no...you're right not boring enough." she paused to think and then glanced at the pink words...."You should be even more specific, like Dear Mother, Thank you for the letter. I got it in the Great Hall as I was eating blah blah blah and drinking blah blah blah. I finished eating everything....got up and said goodbye to my friends...left the great hall...took a right to enter the moving staircases....the stair case on floor one wouldn't stay still long enough for me to get on it so I waited for what seemed like forever...then I finally got to the second floor stairway..." she was almost so hard giggling over this boring play by play that she couldn't get the last sentence out. "Surely that would bore her to tears and make her not want to send you a letter...but maybe it's just for the first week...we'll see if she sends one next week." she said reassuringly hoping that she hadn't stepped on his toes with her sarcasm with the letter.

"Well, okay...I'm pretty sure that I'm excited to get to see you almost everyday." she said quickly after noticing the sad face the Kel had and she could feel her cheeks heating up and knew they were very pink after that comment. "And I promise to not be a stranger like I seemed to be last term."
she finished quickly and then decided to change the subject again to take his eyes off her pink cheeks.

She glanced back at the first years, "Well, I don't think you looked lost at all. It seemed like you made friends really quick so you always seemed to know what was going on." she said smiling at him and looking into his eyes, "Plus, everyone saw you as a third year even if you were a fake third year and really firstie." she finished with a wink.

Satine felt a little bit embarrassed for some reason and decided to change the subject, "So, have you run into anyone from last year? I feel like I've just been overwhelmed with firsties and you're about the only person I've run into from last year?" She had to admit to herself that this was her nice way of asking....so have you seen Jenn yet...she was really hoping that he was finally getting over her, but the last time she had seem Kel, it wasn't so. Satine wasn't sure why this mattered to her...she was sure it was because she didn't like Kel being unhappy and torn...and that was the only reason...well that and he was her adopted brother.

Skye looked around the common room, finally finished with her History of Magic homework. The lesson was fascinating, but the homework could really wear you out. Who knew Hogwarts could wear you out so quickly?! The homework must have impacted her vision, because just before Skye was about to climb up the stairs into the dorms, she spotted Leanne. Finally, someone to talk to! Smiling and feeling relaxed, she plopped herself down onto the couches. "Hi, how's life?" she asked, adjusting her head so she could look at her friend. "You look stressed," she observed.

Upon hearing Skye's voice and seeing those familiar olive coloured eyes, Leanne nearly cried with relief. Her prayers were being answered! "Ugh, it's horrible so far!" she muttered. Turning her head towards her friend, Leanne noticed enviously that Skye seemed to have finished her homework already. "I need help Skye. Please, please, please tell me that you finished your History of Magic homework and can help me with it. Please?" Leanne pleaded, pulling out her own homework.

"Anyway, how was your day? Did you send a letter to your parents yet? Oh, by the way, I realize that I didn't tell you if I was a pureblood or not. Well, my mom was a pureblood but she married my father, a muggle, so I'm a half-blood. My mom told me occasional stories of the Wizarding World but not too much since my dad, obviously, wouldn't understand anything. I was so happy when I got my Hogwarts letter, though. I didn't realize that it would be so tiring!" Leanne exclaimed, exasperatedly.

Damon walked into the common room after yet another long day in class. Doing well in class is what he hoped for and he thought he had done well. Damon sat on a nearby couch and as usual began to study. This defense and history homework would be very interesting indeed.

He could only do ONE thing. Words were really no good, and he wasn't all that clever when it came to saying the right thing anyway. So Cope just gathered her in his arms and gave her a biiiiiiiiiiiig hug. Hugs helped. They did.

"You made a mistake, but you were trying to do the right thing for her. Sometimes we do the wrong things for the right reasons. All you can do is apologize and then do everything in your power to prove that she can trust you not to meddle in her life again." He gave her head another rub.

Bella walked into the common room.it was quite a good DADA class.she liked partnering up with Solane.she thought of talking to her again later if she meets her in the Great Hall.she couldnt thank her in the class.

She had said it. And Perni was the first person she had EVAAA told. The boy should be feeling rather lucky at that moment. Though, Livvy wasn't quite so sure that having to comfort an emotional and upset girl was really considered as lucky. But he should feel glad that Livvy had shared it with him. No way was she going to tell anyone else.

And then. Awww.... a hug?

Normally, Livvy would've thought it as icky, but a hug was perfect for a time like this. Smiling, gently she gave the boy a big hug back and already she was feeling loads better. She listened to his 'words of wisdom' cautiously, wondering what she could do to make things right between her and Rachel.

Sighing, she giggled gently as he rubbed her hand and Livvy looked up at him with a grateful smile. "Thanks Perni. I always seem to bug you with my problems. First Chase and now this. Don't see how you don't run at the sight of me," she said, humorously.

"Because you didn't judge me about the Cela stuff. You just encouraged me to admit what I felt and deal with it. Who knows what would have happened if I had just gone along the way I intended? I would have found a random girlfriend and then hurt her when I didn't really care about her. I would have lied to Plymouth longer. And I might have... I dunno. Maybe never been brave enough to be honest with myself and with Cela. So no running from this Ravenclaw." He did release her, though. Enough hugging.

Oh the good times she had while she was still young and all she had to worry about was school and family. "Hmm," she said. Jule had never actually thought about that before. "If they do, then let even more fun begin," she smirked and chuckled. But if she got caught, Vindictus who probably like hang her upside down in the dugeons. Oh fun. But she knew how to get out of trouble anyways.

Whu-ja ba ga

Skye looked startled at Leanne's exclamation. "Yeah, I just finished," Skye answered. Sliding off the couch, she reached into her bag and pulled out some pieces of parchment. "Here," she said, handing it to Leanne. "Some notes I took during class," Skye explained. "Good luck trying to decipher the words," she added, laughing softly. Skye was writing waaay too fast to be able to write neat, and she couldn't really write that neat in the first place either way.

To Skye's relief, Leanne's mood brightened as she asked questions. The awkwardness finally ended. "My day was great," Skye replied, getting back onto her seat. "The stuff we learn is fascinating! And I haven't written yet, but I definitely will soon." Leanne's background was facinating, and a bit similar to Skye's own, she noticed. "My history is basically along the lines of that," Skye said cheerily.

Leanne's eyes widened so much that she thought they would pop out of her head. There were so many notes! And....they were sort of...illegible. Ah well, at least she had the full set of notes, Leanne thought, trying to stay positive. Sighing, she wondered idly whether or not she would be able to take so many notes some day. "Thank you! You are a total life saver, Skye!" she exclaimed happily, scanning over the notes quickly.

"Oh, that's great! My day's going pretty good too...come to think of it, I still haven't written my letter home too..." Leanne trailed of quietly. She blinked a couple of times when she heard that Skye was raised similarly. Shrugging it off, she leaned back in her seat again and asked, "So, what's your favourite colour? Your favourite food? Book? Animal? Your favourite anything?"

Jen walks quickly into the common room and looks around. It wasn't terribly crowded, but she didn't see anyone that she particularly recognized. So she strolled over to the fire and took a seat in an empty chair and pulled out her book. She began reading, drowning out all the commotion that was going on in the room.

Mmm. That's true.

Though, Livvy wasn't exactly sure if she had indeed encouraged him to tell Cela and Plymouth. That just made her sound like she was in on the 'plan' to separate the two. But yeah... she had indeed told the boy that he had to just face reality and deal with it.

At what Copernicus said about the girlfriend part, Livvy suddenly remembered about something, two terms ago. They were at the Front Gate, along with Kayla, and well... uncertain and lost Copernicus had shown intention in well... going out, since they were both at a loss of the ones that they had fallen for. Yeah. Awkward. Good thing she had never said yes, otherwise she, Livvy, would be the one getting hurt and there would be no today.

"Well... there definitely wouldn't be a today," she said, nodding her head. And then awkwardly, Livvy realized that they were still hugging. Yeah. Um. No. She pulled away from Copernicus and leaned back against the couch. Hugging sure was a good type of medicine.

So... yeah. Awwwkkkwaard.

"How are you and Cela doing?" she asked, suddenly with a small smile.

Kel gnawed on his lower lip thoughtfully as she gave a litteral play-by-play of everything tht Kel could've, might've, and might be doing all day. "If that doesn't bore her to tears, I'll personally check her into St. Mungos' crazy ward." He shook his head as he said this, imagining how that situation would go over. "I could go on and on about how Ravenclaw is such a good house..." he mused, thinking outloud to himself. "But," he grimaced, realizing what the realistic outcome of that would be. "Never mind, I won't do that. I'll get started on the overly detailed, overly boring retelling of my day tonight."

He felt a self-satisfied smirk slip onto his face as he watched Satine's face redden. He got the sense that she was trying to change the subject, so he just smiled in reply to comment about not being a stranger, and moved on. He opened his mouth to thank Satine for telling him he didn't look like a lost little firstie, when who else but Jennumara Blood - but call her Jenn - told him that he did, infact, look like one. He looked down at the girl - who was sitting on the...floor? - and gave her a sarcastic look before noticing that Jenn didn't look like her usually, Jenn-ish self. "You okay?" he asked, his eyebrows scrunching together with his look of worry.

When Satine spoke up again, he looked back at her. At her question, he arched an eyebrow. She's asking if you've talked to Jenn. He told himself, sure his assumption was right. But since the girl in question was now with them, there wasn't much he could say on that matter. He'd just have to answer her real question with the real answer and not he juicy stuff she was surely looking for. "I've actually seen quite a few people from last year," he answered with a drawn out nod. "Made a new friend too." he added before he could stop himself. Great, Jenn's here. he thought, resisting the urge to smack himself on the head.

Jenn rolled her eyes at his sarcastic look, exaggerating the motion. She wasn't in a good mood, so clearly she was going to be slightly....rude. Of coarse, then that perfect little boy just had to go and ask if she was okay, didn't he? Jenn sighed. "Not really. You see, as I was going along the corridors, some annoying little first years triped me and I flew across the ground, scraping my knee and getting some nasty bruises." That wasn't exactly what was bugging her, but it was close enough. If he asked again, which she had a feeling he would, then she would tell him the real reason why she was upset. That she had done a RIAN thing! She never triped like that in her whole life! Well....when she was six she did because of Devon and Jesse triping her into a mud puddle, but this was horrible! She had to set the perfect example of a amazing forth year, and here she was, falling. Ugh.

She kinda zoned them out for a moment, staring at a patch of carpet that was in the sunlight. It looked pretty......wait....Her head snapped up. He made a new friend? Was it that pretty (evil she would add) girl he was with at Diagon Alley? "What's your new friends name Kel? Is it a boy? Or a girl? If it is a girl, does she happen to have blond hair, and is quite pretty and drives me ins-"she paused, thinking of a cover up,"to the point were I can't help but be happy?"she brought her thumbs up, making a fake happy smile. Even if she didn't know the girl, she really, REALLY, didn't like her. She was steali-confusing her poor boyfr-best friend. Yup yup.

Hopping through the portrait hall, JD looks around, finding a spot open on a squishy chair in the corner by the fire, he walks over and curls up in the chair.

Glancing around he sees lots of big people, but not many his age. So he turns to watch the fire.

Copernicus couldn't hide his goofy smile, so he ducked his head and tried to burrow beneath the pillows. UGH. He was so awkward. All. The. Time.

"You don't want to hear about that. It's that silly romantic babble that people get all sick of hearing," Cope mumbled into the pillows before peeking at her a bit. "But in case you do... we're doing well. Really well."

"Now for the Electric Sliiiiiiiiiide!" Ooooh, yes. Lucy was, in fact, doing the electric slide. In the Ravenclaw Common Room. Which was full of bright and clever little kiddos, big and small. Although, that thought was a total paradox and she knew it. Blah.

"Left...right...back...scuff!!" she said, emphasizing on the word "scuff", as she repeated perhaps about a bajillion times. And she stopped, growing tired of not the dance. What about the Cha-Cha Slide? How did that go again? Hmm...

"To the left! Take it back now, y'all! One hop this time! Right foot, let's stomp! Left foot, let's stomp! Cha Cha real smooth!" She followed each of the steps as she "sang" them aloud. No, this wasn't embarrassing! It was super fun! What else could be better than doing the Cha-Cha Slide like a dozen times?! Ooooh, yeah. "Everybody clap you hands! Clap clap clap clap..."

Looking across the room JD, here's singing. Smiling, he recognizes the words. Drumming his fingers to the beat, he sits there watching the older girl.

Timothy went and sat on one of the couches that littered the floor, he retrieved his paper and quill and began writing a letter to cousin Nath. Completely oblivious to his surroundings...

Thomas entered the common room, he was really bored but this is Hogwarts, it is boring in the beginning but later on in the year it's exciting. He sat down on a couch not knowing what to do. He could search for a friend, but that means leaving the common room. He could tease someone but then he might loose house points. Suddenly he had an idea, he could... Study Potions and DADA, it may boring too but at least he would have something to do. He took out his Potions book and began reading it.
