Emily ran up to the common room, the tranfiguration books proffessor svensson had given her in her arms. She enterd the tower and smiled brightly at the other students, looking around she saw a corner with a beautiful armchair. Walking over she realized it was quite oversized so she pulled hersxelf onto the arm chair and curled her leggs under her. She opened the first book, a large red tome with fading grey letters. she propped the book up against one of the arms and began to read, her mind filled with wonderful thoughts of her becoming an animagi.

She smiled. "My parents deserve it. They're great." she sighed, smiling. "So what do you fancy getting, JD?" she asked curiously.

Looking over at Anya again, he wonders what he would like... He's not really sure, the one thing he would like, he didn't have the nerve to even ask.

"I'm not really sure... I mean, I don't really need anything." Remembering the sweets shops he'd been in recently, he smiles. "However, I wouldn't say no to sweets...anything but every flavored beans, really."

"How about you?"

After packing up quite a bit of superhero supplies in her bright pink bag (which mainly consisted of silly string, see-through string, and several bottles of water), she set out to the common room where it seemed to lacking some people. Good thing, too, because then that way, no one would notice or even question who she was and why she was wearing a black mask to go with her temporary superhero uniform. She sneaked around behind the comfy sofas and love-seats, careful so that no on would spot her, and then made her out of the common room, unseen, and unheard. Hopefully.

So, Adrienne was not new, but had actually attended the past five years. Eep, Em felt a little weird; maybe because the only Ravenclaw girl he had met was...Karma, maybe? Cough...Okay...out of that thought, Em missed her too much. As she spoke about having rights to hex some people, like her brother Emiliano let out a chuckle. "I can imagine your brother's face once you suddenly make him fall..." ...or something worse.

"What are your favourite subjects, then?" As they were talking about classes, he guessed he could ask such questions.

Em grinned. Adrienne talked as if it was him as how careful he was with his hands, or his guitar. Nothing, no one touched it! "Yeah, and probably I'll see you do ballet someday, to see that extra care take some credit..." He sort of winked at her. Em felt the need to know more about Adrienne for a bit, to get to see other kinds of artists. And Adrienne seemed to be one of the experts.

"It's kind of my habit. I don't even know how many times I apologized to Karma about my behaviour last term with that...situation." He grumbled. Em was still a bit too hurt from the whole thing with Piper, yet what still crossed his mind is Karma, seeing her graduate and seeing as she now had plans for her future.

Becca walked into the common room after a nice Transfiguration lesson with Professor Svensson. She wanted to get the homework done quickly, so Becca decided to look for a partner, and thought that the common room would be a great place to start. To the genereal occupants of the room she called out "Is anyone looking for a partner for the Transfiguration homework?" She was hoping that this would not only help her complete the homework, but also meet someone new, something which Becca did not really excel in. Becca set her stuff down at a nearby table and pulled out a chair. Then, she took out her chess piece and her wand in preparation.

Plymouth Morgan plopped down in the floor of the Common Room, alongside the box he'd brought down with him from the dormitory. He didn't even bother seeing who all was around; he was a busy boy. From the box, he pulled out some thick white yarn and some knitting sticks. They ALL got a frown, but he set to trying to get it all to work anyhow. It was IMPORTANT and Plymouth just would NOT be asking his mom for help. Again.

He switched to lay on his stomach, thinking if he got the yarn closer to his face it would be easier to see, easier to work. Yes. Clearly.

"Bedsocks, Plymmy?" Celandine bounced over to him cheerfully, bent down and planted a sloppy momma-type kiss on his cheek before throwing herself on the rug in front of him, stretching out happily.

She looked around the common room, adjusted her skirt to be decent and beamed at all the younger students, with a hi-I-am-nice-and-totally-smart-and-if-you-need-anything-just-ask-okay? look.

Then her attention went back to Plymouth and she grinned up at him from her position lying on the ground.

Plymouth, as he always had and probably always would with Cela, reached up and touched his cheek after her kiss. The predictable slow grin crept up his face. "Better than socks. Or, I have I high hopes anyway."

After a pause, he added, "You'll have to be careful with those now, you know." Those clearly utterly-meaningless-to-everyone-but-Plymouth kisses.

"Careful with what? Bedsocks?" Cel propped herself up on her arms and looked at him curiously.She moved her leg to nudge his knee and scrambled to sit up, summoning a cushion non-verbally (cos it was like her way to be all like LOOKWHUTICANDOOONOWPLYMMY without actually bragging about it). She hugged the cushion and sat with her feet tucked uner herself.

Plymouth DID notice the silent spell and rewarded her with another grin. She didn't need him to tell her she was fantastic. He knew. She knew he knew. "Not socks, CellBell. This..," he help up the shapeless bit of yarn, "is a daffodil. Will be a daffodil. Hopefully. A bookmark, I'm thinking."


Plymouth nudged her back, this time with his own LISTENTOTHISCAUSEIGOTSOMMITGOOD look. "For my Daphadil."

Celandine, who was completely and utterly AWARE that Plymouth and Daaaaaffffneeeee were now smoochie facey and hand holdy, because after all, daph WAS her best friend in the whole wide world, did not make the connection.

"A bookmark." Cela repeated cheerfully. Books were awesome. "You're growing daffodils? Do they do stuff? Like my hyacinths?" Which... she'd never actually admitted had been from her until just then.

Celandine reached out a little finger to stroke the soon-to-be-bookmark.

Tibi made his way into the common room and grabbed a cushion before propping himself up against the wall. Aimlessly flipping through a textbook, he let himself get distracted, looking around the room. He... didn't quite feel able to focus but he certainly wasn't tired.

Spotting Cela and Plymouth, he thought to say hi, but they were talking and he didn't want to interrupt. Turning back to his book, he flipped through another few pages, not really reading them before sighing and closely the book with a thud.

Pulling his knees up to his chest, he just watched the others in the room. this year had been a mess. And he was starting to really feel it.

Plymouth stared a beat before he started laughing. "Really, CellBell? I mean, granted, I do carry on conversations with my flowers, but I don't.. make them bookmarks. They can't read. Flowers can't read." Or, none of the ones Plymouth knew could anyway. It didn't escape Plymouth's notice that she hadn't ever admitted, until now, that the hyacinths were hers.

But had he ever really doubted that they were hers? Nay.


"For my Daphadil," Plymouth repeated. "My ... girl. She is, at the very least, pretending to like me." Plymouth abandoned his yarn to Cela's fingers and rolled over onto his back to stare at the ceiling and be.. happy. Wildly, exceedingly, monumentally happy. His eyes followed Tibi, little helper flyer fellow, but he didn't say anything to him just yet. Eyes back to the ceiling.

Cela peeked at Tiberius the human when he walked into the common room. After a moment of watching him, she tugged a chocolate frog out of her pocket, still in its box with a famous witches and wizards card inside, and wordlessly levitated it over to balance on his knees, a friendly and comforting little grin on her face. Chocolate made things better, it did.

"Well like, maybe you read to them and you have special bookmarks for each flower so you know which part you've read to each flower already." Cela answered nonchalantly. Perfectly logical.

Cela's fingers grasped the almost-bookmark and she peeked at Plymouth. Could she actually like... pretend like she didn't know and that Daphne didn't tell her everything?

"She's not pretending." Cela answered, keeping her tone light. "She's liked you all along."

Like... forever. Before Cela even noticed what liking looked like let along felt like. It was only in hindsight that she managed to piece it together.

That was not a bad idea... Plymouth was so sure his flowers would appreciate their own story time book mark. Most of Plymouth's stories came from his head, retellings of how his day went - but... still not a bad idea. "I know she's not." Plymouth knew a lot about Daphne Hopton. "But she hasn't always liked me. She doesn't even like me every day now. Hehe. Some days she's just... well. She's Daphne. She's my girl. I'm smitten," Plymouth grinned.

He edged closer to her, sort of slither to whisper, "Show off," at her second wordless spell in as many minutes it seemed. Hehe.

Tibi was staring off at another part of the room when he felt something on his knee. Jerking his head around, he noticed a chocolate frog box, and then, upon looking up, a smiling Celandine. Taking the confection in his hands, Tibi returned her smile.

Turning his face away from others in the room, Tibi cracked open the box excitedly, clapping his hand over the frog to keep it from jumping away. Popping the whole thing in his mouth, he chewed it slowly, savoring the richness of the chocolate as he took the card out of the box.

Flipping it over in his hand, he read a name he didn't recognize. Shrugging and not bothering to read the back for an explanation, he stuck the card in his book as a bookmark and hugged his knees, again scanning the common room, but this time, just a little more cheerful.

"You're so silly." Celandine told him, flopping onto her stomach. "Daphne doesn't like people, but she's like liked you for a long time." Celandine tapped her arms and then pointed at Plymouths arms. "All bits."

Gigglesnort.

"So..." Cela sat up again. Was everything... going to be okay? Surely he totally understood some stuff now? Right? From what Daph said... Cela peeked a bit and then looked away quickly. SHE was SOOOO discreeeeeeeeeeet.

"I'm glad." She added.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Plymouth tilted his head WAAAY to the side to watch Tibi stuff the frog into his mouth. Maybe he needed a hug? Surely Tibi knew where to come for hugs. Surely.

"Doesn't matter really, I don't guess. What matters is that... I think... I think she's happy. I hope so. " Arms and all. Hehe. Plymouth put his feet over his head in an attempt to roll over backwards. He was never going to make it, but he was a busy body and it gave him something productive to do. "I'm glad you are. I didn't expect you to be weird about it, but... you mean a lot to her, so... I'm glad, too."

"At first I didn't know and then when I realised, it was... we were... you know. And then stuff and whatever." No reason to like, talk about it now, but Plymouth would follow well enough, Cela was sure.

"You like kissing her." Celandine announced and she too attempted to roll backward. As flexible as she was, she managed it and was suddenly sitting in a new position, her back against the base of one of the couches. Probably a good thing that she wasn't stuck like Plym for too long, skirt and all.

Tibi was lost in a daydream when a movement caught his eye and snapped him out of it. Turning to see what it was, he noticed that Plymouth had his... legs over his head?

Oop. As he continued to watch, there went Cela's, too. Oh, well, except that she kept going and Plymouth, well, hadn't.

Before he could stop himself, Tibi let out a rather audible giggle. Clasping a hand over his mouth, Tibi's eyes went wide. So much for being quiet and discreet over his corner.

"Eep. Sorry." He squeaked, hand still over his mouth.

"I asked YOU to be my girlfriend and that was the end of that," Plymouth filled in the missing parts there, complete with little grunty sounds as he tried to get rolled over. Ugh he would sooo never make. Again, she was a .... "Show off."

She should totally push his legs, right? Not that Plymouth was going to ask/suggest, but that was obvious right?

"Hehe. Of course I do. She's my girl. Like Copernicus has liked kissing you.. for what? A while now." A while.

Celandine nodded emphatically and stood up, immediately going over to stand by his head and grabbing his feet, puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulling them to help him flip over.

"Yeaaaah but its like different right? Different kissing? Feels different." Right Plymmy? Right? Right?

Plymouth rolled, as ungracefully as humanly possible, to his feet. He immediately stopped and POINTED at Tibi the giggle box. "YOU get your little scrawny rear end over here and try it." Plymouth would not be taking no for an answer.


As he dusted himself off, he glanced as Cela. "I won't compare you two. It doesn't matter anyway, right? Unless it's to make you feel better?" If it made Cela feel better, he'd tell her the difference. Otherwise, he'd just rather not get into it.

As Plymouth waited on Tibi, he moseyed over to Cela and tried to get a piggyback ride out of her. "You're getting tall, CellBell." Truth. She'd grown since... well since.

Cela poked her tongue out at Tibi goodnaturedly. he should try it. Fun fun. She nodded at Plymouth. Twice. "I am getting tall and you don't have to tell me because I know there is a difference. Thats why? You know? The thing with the stuff? Its different." She glanced down again and then back up at his face, beaming. "I aaaaam gettting tall. I am 5'5 and a QUARTER!" Meaning, since she'd started at school in her first year, she'd gained almost seven inches.
