Aaron smiled at Iris and turned to Mystic. "We definetly do." He turned to the new girl. Feeling optimistic, Aaron said, "I bet they do it every year to the first years because they know that they will be suprised every time. They're just messing with us." Aaron laughed. "I'm Aaron, by the way. And this is Iris. And this is Mystic. How about you?"

"They should wear trousers. Or their bottom might get cold. I know mine does when I don't wear trousers," Theo smiled. He had learnt that the hard way. Running around in the garden in winter, with no trousers on, had been a rather chilly experience. "That is alot of trousers. Maybe they could wear a jumper with four arm holes in it, and then a pair of trousers with four leg holes in it. They could be really stylish that way."

"My daddy is a Theo, and my granddaddy is a Theo, and his daddy is a Theo. I am Theo number four," he smiled. "But only my daddy and granddaddy is alive. My granddaddy's daddy died before I was born. So he isn't coming back to see me." He nodded, "3 Theo's would be very confusing. My mummy and daddy call me Junior though, so they don't get confused."

"Probably at some point, I would have." he agreed nodding. "I was just surprised I ended up in Slytherin being muggleborn. I didn't think that was possible, from what I've read." Actually I think I was the only one in my year that was muggleborn at my old school. I think there were a few in other years, but I didn't know them well."

Taking her small hand his, he shakes it, trying to be gentle as not to hurt her...

Wishing that he had an answer, he replies "I wish I could tell you about him, I just heard that he's one of the best potion masters, but I myself haven't even met him as of yet.

His shoulder tingling at the touch, of her hand patting him on the shoulder, he smiles at her and dips his head a little.

His eyes widening at what she said about her cat. "Oh my! I wouldn't have expected that looking at him. He's kind of cute." he replies looking into her eyes again. It's easy to lose yourself in her eyes... he thinks to himself.

Nodding, I think it's hard to choose, personally. It might take me the next 3 years to really decide.

"we won't have time to tonight, but i'm sure we will have time to after lessons tomorrow." Iris said, looking at Aaron out of the corner of her eye.

"I do not know about that Aaron. I think it is because he as away with girls. Oh, and hello, Mystic said looking at the new person.

Iris laughed at Mystics comment, it definately seemed to be true, "Hello," she said to the girl.

Aaron laughed and looked at Iris. Wait, what are you doing? STOP IT, STOP IT! Aaron looked away at embarresment and looked at the girl. Red hair, cool.

Clifford had to put a hand over his mouth and nose to hide the gigglesnort that escaped at Theo's words. Theo and his cold bottom.. okay, that was quite enough information for him. "That's a neat idea," he nodded as he poured himself a goblet of pumpkin juice. "But what about snakes? They don't have any arms or legs. They have to wiggle around on their tummy." He'd much rather be a spider than a snake.

"That's a lot of Theo's." A LOT of Theo's. Wow. Confusing, much? "And when you're old, and as big as a door like your daddy, and get your own babies.. are you going to call him Theo too? He'd be Theo number five!"

Iris didn't notice Aaron look at her, because she was busy thinking of something to ask the ginger girl... Iris likes ginger hair, its got the breauty and strangeness as alternative hair colours... only its natural... not alternative, "so, tell us abit about your self" Iris said to the ginger girl.

Nodding at his words "Yes, I've heard the same. But the hat must have found something inside your mind that it wanted you in this House" She really hoped he wouldn't be offended by it. As she was taught to be polite, but sometimes her words came out wrong.

Looking abit shocked over that there was so little of muggleborns at the Norwegian school she thought I bet my grandfather would have loved to send me there.

"There can't be many muggleborns in Norway then since you say you were the only one in your year. It's too bad you didn't know the others" she said with sympathy.

His eyebrows lifting, "I...uh...didn't wear the hat. They told me because of where I was placed in my old school, that I would be in Slytherin here. They said it suited me well."

Nodding, with his eyebrows back to normal, "I would assume that. But couldn't be sure, really, perhaps there was another school in Norway, I'm not sure of that either, actually."

"He may be cute, but if anyone tries to steal his thunder then he's crazy. He attacks my father every morning so that he can go outside. Then he comes to bother me when it doesn't work, but he usually falls asleep. Don't you?" She lifted the big cat up to stare into his face. "Hm hm, you're so cute." Lettie rubbed noses with her pet and received a loud purring sound as a reward.
"Did you bring any animals with you?" Lots of kids brought animals to school.

"That's good, there's no point in rushing a decision, and then being miserable." She stroked her cat which was now belly-up and purring, "You okay?" Lettie asked Ott after a moment, "You seem a little bit odd, like you're zoning out. Not ill are you?"

"Yes, it's something I suspected..." Diane let herself fall into a pensive silence.

Diane stayed, sunk, into the older girl's shadow silently listening on their conversation. A fairly truest come and go. Nothing could be said against a noble purpose such as that. 'Healer' could never be hers. "Maybe Mastership of Potions." She answered to no one.

If no other subject attracted her attention, Magic History, Enchantment, Shamanism. Organized magic cult would have been after many previous failed tries come to formation with the first schools of magic. Hogwarts. Diane had a fairly large number of subjects to look into in her stay. At that, she was ceremoniously brought from her thoughts by the conversation going on her other side of the table. A conversation involving spiders using pants... Entelequia frowned at no one, bewildered. Wasn't this boy older than her?

For a good 10 seconds, Diane was perpetually stumped.

On the other hand, her eyes moved slowly at the group over at the Griffindor's table. She thought she heard that prefect call the name of the boy with the odd colored eyes. A look at the hourglass made it even plainer. Despite their coldness towards her, that boy struck her favorably. She should see if to help that boy was possible for her in her current... position, let's say.

"My Mother works at the Department of magical law enforcement: Improper use of magic office, and my father works at the Department of games and sports, he's a Quidditch fanatic" Lyra giggled. "i must have that trait from him" And my Mum was always attracted to the law side" Lyra thought for a second "you know, it's only my first year here and i already want to become a professional Quidditch player" she said and looked at the enchanted ceiling. "either that or maybe working at the Ministry of Magic, Department of Mysteries, my father had told me that the people who work there are called "Unspeakables" and that he knows nothing about them or their job." Lyra sighed a little before continueing. "i'm highly curious, sometimes not for my own good , i really want to find out what job they do" Lyra sipped at her goblet again. "do you know what you want to be later?" she asked

"Animals?" shaking himself, to get himself more under control. Cut it out! She's just a girl he thinks sternly to himself.

Turning pink, he replies "No, I didn't bring any animals. My brother thought I should bring one of our rats. But I get enough of those at home." he finishes with a chuckle. "I don't think they're very magical though either."

"No, I'm fine." ducking his head, he says in a low voice "Sorry, I just think you have very pretty eyes."

While waiting for the girl to answer, Aaron turned to Iris and whispered, "Hey, have you seen Fallon?" He hadn't seen her since they got off the train and went into seperate boats. He was wondering what house she was sorted into.

"Really?" She said looking a bit shocked. "I thought everyone had to get sorted by it. Transfer student or not. But it's cool that they said you suited here"

Nodding aswell "Or maybe they were all sent to various other schools when they found out what they were. Who knows"


Grinning at Lyra she answered " Those are cool jobs, and yeah. I think that kind of fanatic is something in herited" She chuckled. "But it's good to have hobbies, and you seem to want to make a living of it. So that's cool. I have the same for our Horses. I can't wait until I'm old enough to go with my father on one of his huntring trips. We have pack of hunting hounds to go with aswell. So we both inherited something" She smiled" Looking exited about the talk about the unspeakables "Yeah, that's the only job I can think of for now, or I might go into Auror training. But we are only 1st years. It might change before we get to our last year"

"I just hope no one says anything that I'm a muggleborn Slytherin. quietly and self-consciously, he mutters.

"That's very true," he says giving her a smile.

"Snakes could wear a sock type thing," Theo smiled. He could picture what they should wear, but he didn't know what to call it. A sock was the closest.

Theo shook his head. "I don't want to have children. Girls are icky and mean."

"It's probably best that you didn't bring a rat, Ornlu might catch him."' She gestured to the feline now sound asleep in her lap.
"Rats at home?" Lettie said in a quiet voice, "Do you have an old farmhouse? My aunt and uncle live in one, and the mice always get in. That's why I let them borrow Ornlu for a while, he scares them out." Thinking of something she continued, "Maybe you'd like to borrow my cat for a while? He'd scare those rodents out in a snap." She smiled proucly as though it was her doing that Ornlu had become such a successful mouser.

"Okay, I'm glad you're not sick." Leticia said with a smile and blushed again when Ott complimented her eyes, "Oh, um, thank you." She said with a large, yet very awkward smile. She hadn't had much experience with boys. "They run in the family I'm afraid, so I got stuck with them too."
Figuring it was time to change the topic before it became strangely silent, "Hey, do you think the food is going to get here soon? I'm starving...". She trailed off after making a few gagging sounds as though she had starved completely.

"no, I've been wondering where she was, you know." Iris said, looking at Aaron then raising her neck to see if Fallon was at one of the other tables, Iris thought she was acting quite like a meerkat, so looked back at Aaron and said, "well she isn't at anyof the other tables..."

"Yes, we have an old farmhouse, but unfortunately Anton, has about 6 pet rats. He isn't a wizard, if your wondering, but he loves rats..." he replies with a disgusted look on his face. "I think they're actually filthy and won't go near them.

With a light laugh, he adds "If Anton sends me anything, I'll make sure to pass them on to Ornlu, I'm sure he'd love them!"

"I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to embarrass you...I'm not very good at this, I guess." his face turning a brighter pink.

Glad for the change of subject, "It must be soon, I'm sure, the students look like they're mostly sorted now."

Noticing his tone she answers "I hope so too, I for one wont but, old prejudice
dies hard. My own grandfather is one who still carries them. And I've seen how he acts." She frowned at the end. "I might be Pureblood but, there is no need to be rude like that"

Hayley sighed. Jude had left the table, and she didn't see that Kiri girl, so she figured she'd left to. She looked that the Gryffindor table, and notice that there was a lot of yelling and commotion coming from there. Glancing around, she noticed that Gryffindor was indeed in the negative numbers. Wowzers. And the feast hadn't even technically started yet! Hayley was bored, so she began tinkering with her utensils...until she got bored of that too. Gosh she was hungry! And bored! Her two least favorite things to be. "When is this gonna get going!?" she said to herself in a low voice.

"A sock type ... thing," he agreed distractedly, wondering what was going on over at the Gyffindor table. Whatever it was, it looked kinda fun - scary KaziMan was over there though. Clifford had secretly been hoping the old bloke would've moved to a retirement home by now. ".. yeah, I think a sock'd work.."

Theo had his full attention at his 'girls are icky and mean' comment though, and Clifford raised one dark eyebrow. "No, no, no," he shook his head and helped himself to a sip of pumpkin juice. "most girls are icky and mean.. some are really nice though." And made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Hehe.
