Welcome new and returning Slytherins!

Skylar walked into the Great Hall and took a seat at the long table. It felt good to be back. She sat down and waited for the rest of her classmates to make their way into the Great Hall. For some reason, by some miracle she was always early.

Amanda headed into the Great Hall with a grin on her crimson lips, ah it was good to be back at Hogwarts. Only this time she was a fourth year, she planned on making Slytherin quite proud this term and attempting to stay out of trouble,she then headed over to the Slytherin table and sat down, crossing her left leg over her right and waited for more Slytherins to arrive.

Lettie walked into the Great Hall, gasping slightly as she noticed the size of the room...it must have been twice as big as her grandfather's house, and that place was big.
She strolled around for a moment taking in all the sights and what sound was being created. Deciding that she had better go to her own table, Leticia sat down near the front close to the staff table and awaited some more of her housemates to arrive...it was so empty for now.

Lucy walked into the Great Hall, parting from her friends with a polite wave, and walked over to Slytherin Table. She sat down in one of the very many vacant chairs. Noticing Amanda far away from her, Lucy avoided eye contact. She really wasn't in the mood to start fighting right now, she was to busy being happy. After all she was back at Hogwarts, her home! She sat drumming her fingers lightly against the table, waiting for a few of her friends to arrive, maybe she would even make new friends.

Roland found a place on the Slytherin table. He looked up at the enchanted ceiling. Then round at the rest of the hall. Each year he returned it seemed as though he was seeing the Great Hall for the first time. He waited for some Slytherins to join the table.

Spotting a boy sit down near her Lucy thought that it would be the best time to make more new friends. Besides, the boy looked like he was in her year. She need more friends in her year that were Slytherin. She scouted over and smiled. "Hi." She said to the boy, as he looked up at the ceiling.

Walking into the hall, Ott looks around trying not to stare, or look odd. But seeing others looking around in awe too, he doesn't feel as wierd.

Wow! he thinks to himself, as he heads toward where other Slytherin's seem to be heading and takes a seat. As he sits down, he notices the ceiling. With his jaw dropping, he looks up.

Roland brought his gaze back down and turned to the girl. He definitly needed to make some friends rather than checking up on first years.
"Hello" he said pleasantly, "aren't you in my year? fifth? Roland by the way, Roland Baims" he said extending a hand to her.
"Hello Skylar" he said "nice to meet you".

Finding a seat at the Syletherin table, Nate sighed as the rest of his friends seemed to be in ravenclaw. Now he was alone again. Keping his cool he looked atthe delicious food sitting before him and smiled. Grabbing a fork he grabbed some food onto his plate making it full. A smile swept across his face and he started digging in. His sotmach had been growling for a while so the food tasted great.

"Ah hello Lucy Porter" said Roland with a small chuckle, "Yes, very excited. Very keen to get on to some more advanced transfiguration. Care of Magical Creatures is always interesting" he said enthusiastically before saying as an after thought "well unless you're doing something like flobberworms. O.W.L year though, can't wait for a bit that stress". Roland had began to think since the middle of last year what he'd want to do after he left Hogwarts but whether there was a set path in NEWTs he really didn't know.

Seeing another boy, a rather lonely one. Lucy smiled. "Hold that thought Ronald." She said getting up. She pushed her chair in and walked over to him. Lucy tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Um hi. I'm Lucy, and I was wondering if you wanted to sit with my and a couple of my new friends. You seem kinda of lonely." She said politely.

Looking up from his delicious plate of food NAtes mouth was filled. He gave a smile adn swallowed. "Sure that would be great but.. uh.. can i bring my food?" he asked with a laugh.

Dru approached the Slytherin table, looking around the Great Hall in amazement. She had never seen a room this big before with so many people in it.

She sat down opposite a boy who was piling his plate high with food. She glanced at the food herself before looking up at the ceiling and trying to find constallations in the magic induced night sky.

Kobie walked in and sat down at the table by herself. She didn't know anyone so she simply sat and looked around the vast hall. She wished she had been here for the first four years of her schooling. She tried smiling at other people but they seemed to ignore her.

Corwyn walked into the Great Hall for the first time and her mouth fell open. The dinning hall at Salem's was the same size, but the ceiling... oh the ceiling, Cor fell in love with it. She sat down at the Slytherin table and piled mashed potatos on her plate absent mindedly as she stared upwards.

Kobie looked up as someone sat down opposite her. She didn't know if he was talking to her or not. She smiled.

Mari felt awkward. And it wasn't because she wasn't even at the right table, or anything else it was because Cayden had been acting weirdly ever since he had gotten that letter. She hadn't bothered him about it on the train because he had seemed really put off by something so she had waited until now to tell him. Whether or not it was actually a better time, she wasn't sure but she was bothered with this whole not knowing thing. " So...are you going to talk more now that we're not on the train?" She asked quietly, leaning on the table a bit as she looked at him.

Dru was lost in her own little world as the boy opposite her talked to some others. It wasn't until the whiff of mashed potatoes caught her nose and reminded her of what Theo had told her that she came out of her daze.

Not a moment too soon, there were a few older students looking directly at her. "Uh..." she stuttered, looking like a rabbit caught in the headlights. "Hey?"

"Hello" said Roland to the two new arrivals, "I'm Roland Baims, nice to meet you". He was enjoying himself immensly. If being back in the castle wasn't good enough he was making friends better than he had hoped for.
