Clifford was getting impatient. He was so starving he could eat an entire Hippogriff! He figured Headmaster Bontecou wouldn't be pleased if he started banging his cutlery on the wooden table in protest though. He was still eyeing the staff table when he saw someone waving out of the corner of his eye. THEO! "Hey buddy!" The seventh year called across the table to little Theodore - well, he wasn't quite as little as he remembered! "You keep growing and you're gonna catch up with me soon!"

"wow... at least my family, though pure blooded, don't mind muggles..." Iris said, thinking. "wow - modelling. that's so cool! what kind of modelling?"

"I belive that. Well, good that your aunt I think came to tell you what you were, I belive you would have gotten some sort of letter. I haven't heard of anyone magical not getting their letters unless they are squibs." Thinking before she added the last "My whole family is Magical, on both sides. I've only met people who were atleast half and half before I came on the train to here. Were there many at your former school?, since I have not heard of it. Or my family there just didn't see fit to tell me"


Nodding at her answer " Oh, Well, my father was in Slytherin and he told me it's beneath the lake. And that it is quite big. But I hope it wont be a maze. But I'm sure if you want. we could go to the first classes together, two heads are better than one when trying to navigate" she said and grinned.

Theo beamed. Mr Clifford had seen him. That made him happy. "Hey Mr Clifford," he replied to the older boy. He was squeeing a little inside. A big boy had spoken to him. "I know. But when I get to your tallness, you will be as big as a door, like my daddy." That was the height everyone was going to achieve in Theo's eyes. It was the only height you could be.

Aaron knew he was going to be sorted into Slytherin, but he was very excited when he got sorted. The hat was weird. It DID read his mind. He walked over to the Slytherin table and sat down next to iris who was sitting across from Mystic.

Aaron laughed, "Can you believe it??? We're here!!! And you," he looked at Iris, "What did I say? You're in Slytherin!!! This is great! And Satine is in Ravenclaw, everybody's happy! Well, I'm happy anyway! Did I mention WE'RE HERE!" Aaron was just too excited for words.

"It was for an anime, and manga. They thought I had the look they where looking for. It is about a cute rather quit, playful, some what weird, mysterious, clumsy pre-teen witch. Oh, little do they know how right for the part I am," she said with a little laugh.

Steven nodded. He wasn't away to tell Paris off for catching up with her friends, considering he and Nancy had basically talked the whole way to the school after they had lost Paris (and after trying to find her). He glanced up the table to Theo, and the others but simply blinked off the feeling that there was still something unresolved going around. He knew that PAris would talk to him about it if she needed him. Until then, he would just leave her too it.

He nodded and after realising that some of his fellow house mates (along with some Slytherin's) seemed to be annoying someone that was obviously not putting up a fuss with the large crowds. He bit his lip a little as he finished serving the juice to the three girls. He sighed a little, and decided that if he needed food later, he could go down to the kitchens. "Excuse me Ladies."

Taking a deep breath, he stood up and walked around the hall to stand so that he wasn't behind the man who was getting hassled, but rather in front of him. "Excuse me... I was wondering if you wanted to go for a walk." He said, looking straight at Irial. He didn't blink, or look away. He needed to be kind and honest. Just like when he was with George.

"Hello, Aaron" Mystic said as he sat down.

Mr Clifford? As big as a door? Theo was one crazy kid. But definately a cool one! "I wouldn't mind being as big as a door," he mused, glad to have some sort of distraction from the lack of eating that was going on. "I'm stoopid and I'd probably forget to duck though.. and then I'd get lots of swollen bumps on my forehead." Okay, maybe being as big as a door wasn't such a good idea. "Does your daddy ever bang his head?"

iris laughed as Mystic said this, then turned around when she heard a familiar voice.

Iris laughed at Aaron's egarness, " I don't know what you are on about," Iris said, jokingly, "you were convinced i was going to be a hufflepuff!" she said, laughing, "i know! I can't believe it either! It's a bit of a bummer that Satine's in Ravenclaw though, we won't be able to see her as much as we would like to." Iris looked over to the Ravenclaw table and immediatly saw Satine, who seemed to have made a few Ravenclaw friends, "well at least she fits in over there and looks happy enough there, so I'm not complaing." she said smiling, then looked down at her plate and realised how hungry she was, "when are we going to eat?" she groaned

"I think you would be really good, being as big as a door," Theo beamed. Mr Clifford was properly talking to him now. Not just the hello, but a proper conversation. This was soooo cool. He shook his head, "No my daddy always ducks. Because he is really really smart. He used to work at the Ministry. But then he left, because he wanted to look after my little brother."

Settling into the new seat despite Lettie's words, Diane said smiling, "I'm very interested. This place is so inherently magical, I can't help but find myself intrigued with its hidden mysteries."

Diane breathed a kind of nervous laugh, "Perhaps I'm just too new. Does Hogwarts strike you as a normal wizarding building yourself?"

Diane allowed herself a full smile at this, and said again, "It's a pleasure, Ott." She thought about offering her hand for greetings, but with her little hand and his... she suspected it was going to be awfully weird.

But the name of that professor, that intrigued her. "Excuse me if I interrupt you again. I was just, hoping... could you tell me more? Who is this Professor, ah, you said Kazimeriz? It sounds interesting."

"You did try, and thank you." Lettie said and pat Ott's shoulder a few times.
'Okay, that was creepy.' Leticia thought and leaned away from the guy a little bit, holding her cat up in defense. "Be careful, this one is wilder than any animal you've faced. He attacked a goblin in the bank!" She said with wide eyes and moved Ornlu's paw in a slashing motion. "Rawwrrrrr..." Lettie said in a growly voice. "He'll get you in your sleep." She burst out into a small fit of giggles.

"That's neat." Leticia continued after setting her pet down on her lap again. "I don't really know what I want to do, maybe a Healer, but maybe a Therapist or something else that requires helping people."

"Yeah?" Clifford asked, head tilting to one side in thought. Being as big as a door. Hmmm. It'd be a good way of scaring people - but would it be very practical? He doubted it. "You might have to get your trousers specially made if you were that tall, I suppose.. because you'd have REALLY long legs. Like a spider." Spiders were neat. They had EIGHT legs! Nodding, Clifford listened to Theo talk about his daddy. He'd heard about him before. He was a Quidditch player! Which made Theo the luckiest kid on the planet. "Does your brother poop and cry alot? He's called Nathaniel, right?" Oh yeah, he had a good memory!

Lettie shrugged, "I haven't thought of it that way." She looked around the room, "I guess it could be, I mean, look how many generations of witches and wizards came through here. Tons." She looked to the ceiling again, it was so pretty. "As far as magical from it's creation, it had to be."

She had no idea what was going on at the Gryffindor table, but if they were losing points she wanted them to keeping going before Anna could break it up. It was mean, but hey the other houses would be thinking the same thing if Slytheirn was losing points. And Paris wasn't losing any points this term, she was going to stay well away from Krazy. Speak of the hound from hell, she spotted him walking up the aisle between the Gryffindor table. She shuddered and turned away from him in case he spotted her looking at him and took away points.

She nodded at Steven when he got up to go see about the situation. She was just hungry and ready for the speech so they could eat.

"your father was a Slytherin too? cool!" Lyra then looked very happy "yes! i would love to go to classes together and your right, two heads are better than one haha" she took her pumpkin juice again and drank a bit. "what do your parents do? if i may ask" she asked and drank the whole goblet empty and it immediately refilled itself. 'handy' she thought and smirked.

"Do you think spiders wear trousers? Because they would have to have them specially made too. Because of their little bodies and their giant legs. And also because they have eight legs. My trousers only fit two legs in them," Theo smiled. He liked spiders, and sometimes Eddie liked to eat them. Well it was more like play with them, he'd chew them a bit and then spit them out.

He nodded, "Yeah he does. But he is nearly one now, so he doesn't cry as much. But he poops lots. Like ninety million times a day. It is really gross." He nodded again, "Yeah his name is Nathaniel. My daddy couldn't call him Theo again, because that is my name." He giggled slightly, not really sure what at. Maybe because his name was Theo.

Allergies? Since when was she allergic to Theo? With a small sigh Nancy suppressed a smirk as he told herself for about the hundredth time in the last few minutes that it was none of her business. Or maybe it was? No it wasn't! But maybe she could help. No, she definitely couldn't. Hey, didn't they have that thingy in the Quill last year, where you could send your problems to and somebody told you what to do? Maybe she should- No! She shouldn't. It. Was. None. Of. Her. Business.
So the 14 year old just settled with returning Paris' smile even though, the thing she wanted to do most at the moment was what she was going to do about Theo.

It hadn't been that bad that Paris had run off on the train. Cough! Well, of course it had due to the reason she had run off in the first place but it had also been quite nice to be able to talk to Steven alone again. Without Paris bustling around him which she had been doing during the rest of the summer.
They had talked about everything, and the time had gone by so fast that they'd both been quite surprised as the train had skidded to a halt. Time always flew by when talking to Steven. She was really glad they'd become friends.

Nancy thanked Steven with a grin as he handed her a glass of pumpkin juice before furrowing her brow slightly as she followed the boy's gaze which was directed at a group of students including a Gryffindor who seemed to be quite annoyed by something or somebody. Blue eyes followed as Steven walked over to them and said something she wasn't able to hear to the tall Gryffindor boy. Tilting her head slightly to the right Nancy turned back to Paris and Corwyn to give them a rather confused look before glancing pointedly at Steven. What was he doing?

Aaron laughed. "I don't know, but I'm starving. The only thing I have had all day was a chocolate frog and some cauldron cakes." Aaron thought about food and his stomach growled. He wanted to get hid mind off it.

"Did you guys see Dumbledore's tomb? It was amazing. I only got a glimpse of it when i got distracted by a mermaid that came up to the side of the boat. THIS PLACE IS SO COOL!"

i had been able to predict that i would get into Slytherin. its obvious that i would belong best here. i took my seat at the table, brushing my long red hair over my shoulder. my stomach grumbled and i glanced down the table to either side of me, hopping no one besides me had heard it.
"im starving too." i said, joining in the nearest conversation to avoid boredom. "and yes, his tomb was awsome. why did a mermaid come so close to the side of the boat, i wonder? its not like first years are so new."

"I've never seen a spider wearing trousers," Clifford shook his head sadly. He wished he had. How awesome would THAT be? It didn't strike him as weird that he was having a chat about spiders wearing trousers with little Theo Newtington.. and he didn't care what anyone else thought. Hmpf. "But if they did, maybe they'd hafta wear ... four pairs!" Four times two equals eight, right?

Ninety million poops a day!? Jeez. Clifford was glad he didn't have a baby brother or sister. Ew. That was just gross. And very stinky too, he'd imagine. "Is your daddy a Theo too then? Yeah, that would be confusing with three Theo's.." He was just glad he hadn't been named Brutus like his own Father. Shudder. "I suppose it's confusing enough with two!"

Iris looked Aaron and said, "no." in suprise, "it was dark, i couldn't see much other than the reflections of the stars in the water." She smiled at him and thought 'bless him, Aaron's really exited about everything. He's really cool and easy to talk to. I really like him.' and blushed at the thought, 'as a friend' she thought to she self quickly.

Smiling at Lyra she answered "Yes he was, most of my relatives on that side have been."

Drinking some of her own juice this time "Then it's settled, we are off to classes together" she smiled at the end. "My parents work at the Ministry. at the Department of international magical cooperation, I think my father does it only for recreation, as he could afford to live atleast over 100 years without working. My mother is in the same department." "What does yours do then?" she asked

"Sorry no I did not. I was in one of the other boats. We will have to go see it later. What do you say?" She said.
