"You're right, I don't want to know" Kayla agreed with a sigh. "Same here, the school work has been rather intense this year. I guess we have to expect that being OWL year and all." She chuckled as she watched him fix his hair. "Of course you did because you are more awesome that Kyle" she teased giving him a wink.
"You know" she drawled. "It's my day off today as well, so I think you can call me Kayla and I've pretty much had the same sort of week you have except that I had a minor confrontation with a first year and he fell back into a mirror and I had to patch him up and take him to the hospital wing. Kayla moved back away from his hand laughing at him. "Well if that makes you feel better" she said rolling her eyes. "I'll just have to call you Gabsy Wabsy" she giggled.
"Of course I didn't push him!" she said outraged, although she had felt like it. "Actually the confrontation happened in Professor Dumont's office. I found out he had hit Lyra and he thought it was funny. So I had a go at him and he took off, I tracked him down in the bathroom and well I apparently scared him and he jumped back straight into the mirror" she shrugged, "he's rather accident prone from what I've been told."

Looking back up at Copernicus "It's not always easy not having family nearby, I learned that right away especially after my mum died, that friends can be just as good as family" she says with a grin at Jen and Rian. "You don't need family around, if you have good friends. I mean look at all us students, we leave almost our whole families when we go to school, and don't see any of them, except for a few days at holidays." with a smile she finishes by saying "I think you are lucky to have Plymouth around, even though he can be ummm, a little wierd at times." she stops hoping not to have offended Copernicus.

He grinned at her comment and said, "Well you might have a good idea already." He paused for a moment to collect his thoughts before procceding. He flipped her hand over, gently, palm side up, and started tracing patterns in it. He was a bit scared at how she would react to this. He had been slapped for this one to many times at Durmstrang. "Please keep your mind open." He whispered into her ear just before he kissed her neck.
Mads took a deep breath and said, "I am not looking for a relationship. My heart was ripped out of my chest and fed to me last term. I dont know if you know my ex...her name is Lima. Anyways....what im trying to say is..." He paused and took another deep breath before continuing, "well you see, this is so hard to explain, um...i have girl's that are friends. That I like to go to not only for conversation and to hang out, but too..." there was no gentelmanly way to say this, "..well to have snog sessions with. I was wondering, if you would like to be one of those girls." His face instantly flushed, and he looked away from her, waiting for the slap.

An emotion flashed behind Karma's eyes as he spoke. It wasn't going to go unnoticed though - because it was anger. Someone who hurt anyone she knew was instantly dead in her book. Well not really dead, but the point has been made.
She watched him trace along her palm, a very relaxing maneuver in her book. Her shoulders relaxed even more, and she became very much like Jello leaning against him. An open mind is all he was asking for.
It's not like she was looking for much either, seeing as her heart still was in the hands of a certain man at the Ministry. They knew this would happen - but promised each other that summer was their time. "I don't have much to petition against, seeing as how I'm not one for relationships currently either."
She turned her head up to look at him, and when she noticed he was looking away, took her free hand and turned his head to face her. "Don't be embarassed darling. We all have our secrets and desires - and luckily ours are the same in many ways. Now kiss me damn it, before I don't want you anymore."
Totally kidding about the not wanting him anymore. But the rest? Ayyye.

"I keep very busy with school, I tutor and help the professors whenever possible. Right now I'm one of the tutors in the common room, actually, this term." Liz comments. "But I always will try my best to, put time aside for my friends...and family," she finishes with a glance at Rian.

Rian smiled as Liz told the story of how they figured out they were cousins. It wasn't an exciting story, by any means, but it always made Rian smile. She chuckled at the talked of Plymouth.
"It's always fun to find out you have family you never knew about." she stated, not sure who she was talking to. "It seems I -well, we-" she smiled sheepishly at Liz- "have a lot of family here at Hogwarts. I met someone in Diagon Alley this last summer that we're related too.
