Cadence smiled at him as she accepted the Butterbeer from Set. Thanks she said before taking a sip. So, were you bummed about not making the team? I was so sure you'd make it!

"Ya, I mean I scored way more points that some of the people that madethe team and I even talked to the captain, but she is completely ignoring me now so? I'm going to try to talk to her again soon, but she's just really shutting me out!" Set said, taking a gulp of butterbeer.

Well you'll always be number one to me! she said, smiling at him before taking another drink. Why does it have to be getting cold outside?

Cassidy wandered into The Three Broomsticks and took a seat at an unoccupied table. She shrugged off her jacket, and ordered a butterbeer. She reached into her large, black knapsack and carefully dug through through all her knick-knacks until she found what she was looking for. With the dog-eared pages, torn cover, and faded words it had been through quite a lot. She opened the book to the beginning and let the familiar words take over her wandering thoughts.

"Cause that's that pretty thing called irony. We are walking, so it gets cold. Don't you love it!" Set said.

Can't we just stay in here where it's warm forever and ever? she said with a fake puppy dog pout.

"Hm.I've actually never have seen my grandparents,"Reese said."Since I don't see my mom,I never see her side of the family.And,my dad's parents both died.Soooo,yeah."She picked up her butterbeer and took a sip of it.

"What did your parents do?Like,before they retired,"Reese asked.

"I'm sorry to hear that..." Emiliano said, taking another sip of his butterbeer. Dear, he was FULL! And a bit uncomfortable, maybe a burp would end it, but he was in front of a lady, no way!!!

"They are business people...they used to start companies, then leave them on charge of other persons...it's mostly to give jobs to the ones that can't find...I am very proud of them..." Emiliano said with a smile.

Mari walked into the Three Broomsticks, pulling off her coat as she did and letting it drape over her arm. She looked over at Elizabeth and smiled before looking around the room. " Where do you want to sit?" She said, wanting a really warm drink to ward off the chill that was almost constant now.

Elizabeth followed Mari into the Three Broomsticks, and smiled back at her friend. "I don't know that I really care where we sit," she replied, leaving her coat on until she felt a bit warmer. She knew they could get something to warm them up here, but she really just wanted to talk to her friend about things. She felt like they hadn't talked in a while, and felt like there was a lot of things they needed to discuss.

Looking around the room, she spotted a table in the corner, where it seemed like they might have a bit of privacy. Especially with some of the things she wanted to tell Mari. "How about over here?," she then asked, heading in that direction. As she got to the table, she finally slipped her coat off and hung it over the back of her chair before sitting down.

Mariska nodded and followed Elizabeth as her friend led them towards a table somewhat near the back and in the corner. Mari thought nothing of it and when they finally sat down, she looked over at Elizabeth. " It's been a while since It's just been the two of us." She said, laughing a little bit. " Of course, there's always the dorms but, well this is more fun." She said, shrugging lightly. " Do you know what you want? I could go get it." She offered, looking over her shoulder at the bar.

after grabbing a bottle of butterbeer Krissy sat at a corner table and opened her sketch book. She had been working on the decor for her new cottage for the past week. Sighing and taking a swig of her drink she sketched a wicker basket for fire wood and peat.

"Ha."

A mug of butterbeer slid into the Gryffindor girls view, as a familiar voice issued a short decree of mirth.

Sliding beside the Irish lass, the living Greek myth took a long drink before speaking. "We are too young to be drowning our sorrows in butterbeer."

Krissy giggled "what sorrows Lad? I'm jest designing me new home. And what of yeh? how be yeh this fine day?" she smiled at the young prince.

Helios paused for a moment, his cloudy blue eyes shut. His ears were at full attention, taking in her every word as if he were listening to a symphony.

Slowly lifting his eyelids, he couldn't help but smile as Krissy was the first thing he laid those eyes upon. "Already planning on your life beyond Hogwarts? I do not have plans beyond what I will do tonight."

Krissy laughed at Helios. "Umm not after Hogwarts, tis for when I return this summer. I have to have me own home in order to run the village, I can't be ruling from me grandfather's home. it's jest how things are done... I don't know what I'm doing tonight me own self." She smiled relishing the idea of having her own home to decorate as she wished... until she was married that is.

"Ah.' The Hufflepuff replied simply before taking another long drink.

"I was thinking of making a tent this summer." Helios said as if it would sound rational to someone that didn't live in the forest for three months out of the year.

Krissy nodded. "Aye, tis a good idea to have shelter... yeh know yeh are always welcome in me village. I see no reason for you to continue risking life and limb every summer. What `ave yeh to prove?" she studied her mug of butterbeer trying not to make eye contact. she hated worrying about the boy.

At least once in your life you can recall a moment in time that seemed to last forever. A space between breaths where life seemed but a dream. There was no simple way to explain how Helios felt as he made eye contact with Krissy, but poets would try to find the words until the end of time and wind up lacking.

"Some things you just do for yourself. Some of the greatest stories are the ones that are never told..." There was a moment of a silence before his lips cracked into a smile, and he spoke again.

"I like the trouble. Could you picture me ever settling down?

Krissy giggled. "Oh Aye... I could see yeh married with a whole passel of kids living in the forest like some sort of mountain man." she nudged the boy gently as a crimson tone touched her cheeks. "Honestly I've never tried to picture yeh grown..." she trailed off looking to the distance. She hated thinking of the future... without Helios in her life. A shiver racked her body. "Though we are closer than we think." She shrugged with a weak smile.

Elizabeth smiled as Mari sat across from her. "You've seemed to be kind of busy," she said, thinking of what she had witnessed months ago here in Hogsmeade. She glanced around the room as her friend made the comment about it being more fun here. "Less chance of people we know listening in, here," she said kind of cryptically, her head still turned. But when Mari asked what she wanted, she looked back with a grin. "I don't really care," she said in response. "Other than preferably something warm." She figured they could talk after taking care of drinks and everything.

Helios threw his head back in a moment of mirth as Krissys scenario played out in his head. "Me? With kids? Ha! Chasing about a flock of brats would seriously cut into my time for adventure." The way he tended to shift his broad shoulders under his school robes was the most obvious indication that he was uncomfortable with the rigors of obtaining an education. The young prince was more your prototypical wild boy than a girls idea of prince charming.

Wait a second. The next thing she said took him a moment to process. Were they really closer than he thought? Was he oblivious or purposely trying to keep her at arms length? His reply did not help uncover the truth. "So we are. About three inches."

Krissy tilted her head and studied the young prince. "I think yeh would make a good father some day. Yeh were jest a boy yerself when yeh started yer adventurin' Why couldn't that include kids? After all some day yeh will take a wife and I'm sure she'll want to pass on those eyes and color changin' hair to a whole load of bairns." She studied her hands trying not to picture Helios with the woman of his dreams. she'd probably be tall and blond, like Kayla...
As if she jest noticed she looked at how close Helios was sitting. "Aye we are about three inches apart. Don't blame me, `twas yeh that sat next to me." She smiled to show she didn't mind his company or closeness.

Though he would never admit it out loud, she was right, he was born to breed. Royal bloodlines were meant to be passed on and on and on, but this young prince could not see beyond the present. "I strongly doubt I will even take a wife. Love and romance? What do I know of such things?" Helios said with a wave of his hand as if it could dispel the thoughts that swam through his head like a drought of butterbeer.

That same hand came to land in that three inch space between them. Three inches that might as well be a million miles. Krissy was right again, she was always right about such things, that it was he who took such a close seat to her. What did that say that his words could not?

Krissy shook her head."Madness lad. `twould be a crying shame to not spread yer superior genetics." She turned red and giggled. "Um I mean..." she waved her hand about trying to make sense of what had just been uttered from her own lips. Giving up her hand lay millimeters from Helios'. clearing her throat she looked to the Prince's face, her mouth going dry she cleared her throat. "I've already resigned meself to needing to breed someday. After all the whole marriage thing is hanging over me head and I've got to provide atleast one more Moon woman to take over me village." she hoped the boy understood her sense of duty. After all he was royalty, he had to know how important bloodlines could be. she searched his eyes, for a moment she felt as though she could drown.
