With a laugh, Liz looks at him, and says "well, it's not much of a story." Seeing as Rian, seemed to be deep in conversation with Jen, Liz tells how it all came to be.

"I was really down because my mum had died the previous spring, and thinking how I didn't have any siblings, or cousins, because both my parents were only children, and I was the only child." Liz pauses to thank the waitress for the butterbeers.

After taking a sip, she goes on "Well, Rian and I became close friends right away in our first year, and she knew something was wrong. We started talking, and I mentioned my great aunt Rose Weasley. And she asked if that was relation to Hermione Granger. I said yes, and we found out we were cousins! Not only that but found out another good friend of mine, was her cousin, and Jason was too."

With a smile, she goes on "It was nice to go from no cousins, think I'm alone except for my papa, and then later his twin sister. I end up with 3 cousins, I never knew about."
