After your journey through a door to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall and down a staircase there, you find yourself standing before a still life painting. Upon giving the correct password, you are allowed access to a warm, welcoming underground room, decorated in the Hufflepuff house colours. Gathered around the large fireplace are several oversized and overfilled plump sofas, which resemble fluffy clouds, and a variety of comfortable armchairs scattered around for you to rest your weary bodies in.

A long table sits in the brightest part of the room (torches are lit all day long) for the students who would rather do their homework in here than in their dormitories or the library.

Portraits of past well-known Hufflepuffs hang on one wall, among them are Cedric Diggory and Nymphadora Tonks, who died in the dark days of You-Know-Who's power, as well as the Fat Friar. Remember and honour them as you walk to or from your dormitories.

Two perfectly round, barrel top doors are positioned on opposing sides of the common room. They both open to reveal underground tunnels which will lead you to your common rooms; boys on the right, girls on the left.

Eva turned just in time to hear Kayla. Ofering an apologizing look to Ray, she turned to face Kayla and the truth.
"Well, it's complicated. It's because of things beyong my business." she answered with a sad expression. She closed her eyes. She wasn't suppose to tell Kay what Jared could do, right? And dangerous he could be.

"YOU KNOW?!" she remembered what Sebastian had told her once. Jared being Jared had been showing around his gift. The git, she thought. "He did something to you?" she asked, suddenly extremely worried about her friend.

Penny laughed when MJ saw the sugar. She hugged MJ back. “You are welcome.” She said. Penny watched as MJ took the lollipop and pulled the wrapper off. She laughed when exclaimed that she loved strawberrys. “I know I do to. The lollipops have been a big help.” She said with a smile. Penny nodded when MJ started to walk towards the Professor. “I will be right here.” She said and pulled out some parchment and started to write a letter to Pax.

As she came back from trying to talk to the professor she sighed. "They are seventeen but I don't think they came back for their last year back." she said sadly and her eyes began to fill with tears. "Taylor was the first friend I made here, her and Beck." she smiled at Penny as the tears began to push each other out. "My best friend Taylor was amazing she was sweet, a great Quidditch player and she was talented with a guitar."

As her memories began to come back to her she continued to smile. "We would sing for hours at end on the weekends. She would play," she wiped her tears. "and I would sing, Beck would just read a book or go out to meet with her boyfriend." she said continuing to wipe the tears away.

MJ felt somewhat powerless, and helpless. She didn't know why, but she missed them dearly. "Vince..." as she said his name she bit her lip causing it to bleed. "I guess he was my first love, or fancy." she said. "He helped me out when I was going through a rough time." She said remembering the last time they spoke. "When things got better, he just vanished." she wiped away her remaining tears and didn't notice that she was bleeding. "He just wanted to get stronger and helping me and helping me with my aunt would help him get his skills up." she said and sighed. "Well at least my aunt is in Azkaban and she won't try to attempt to kill me."

She looked at Penny. "I was hoping I would have the same, I mean Savannah is still here and she is amazing and sweet but I, I guess I feel distant from her." she sighed and smiled. "I mean, she has been in hogwarts having a normal life. Taylor and Beck helped me fight, and then.." she didn't know what she really was thinking.

When Penny told her about coming to a new school and then finding an old friend she smiled. "I understand how that feels, but doesn't it feel a bit odd? I mean, some of the things you did he missed out on and the things that he went through here, you miss out...its hard isn't it?" she asked her then smiled. "I'm sorry, being a little depressed here aren't I?"

MJ nodded to Penny's statement about he sugar free gum. She smiled and felt the blood she quickly got her hand inside of her pocket and took out a clean tissue she had been caring around. She then wiped the blood and threw it into the trash can. "I think I bit my lip." she said and smiled at Penny.

MJ's eyes searched and followed Misty who was on the floor resting. "I know but she is so soft, I bet he didn't even feel her when he sat down." she then smiled, "Misty is so soft and cute, and she is just so .." she made a weird yet cute noise. "kawaii!" She said and blushed. "Sorry, I tend to do that a lot when I am tired." she said. ((kawaii is a Japanese word meaning cute and adorable I think)).

"Yeah I know" Kayla replied shrugging, she didn't see the big deal. "He showed me his little trick down by the Whomping Willow" it was certainly something she wasn't going to forget in a hurry either.

"But... what exactly did he do?" Eva asked her friend. If Kayla didn't know everything, maybe there wouln't be problems. So she hoped.

Eva just knew she was at a finger of wanting to release from all of that.

Diana enterd the Common room,and sat down in a couch beside two fourth year girls.She screwed up her eyes,and thinking for a while,remembered that she had seen one of them.Ella had introduced her to the girl called Kayla.She said to her,"Hi there Kayla,"and addressing the other older girl,she said,"Hello,I do'nt know you do I?You are Fourth years are'nt you?I'm Diana,First Year"Then,noticing that they were busy in a conversation,she kept quiet,seeing if they replied.

Eva turned to see a first year who strated talking at them. She took a deep breathe, remembering she should relax, probably Jared had only been the usual git and hadn't tell Kayla everything.
So, when she spoke to the young girl, she was feeling calmer.
"Hello. I'm Eva. I don't think we have met before. And yes, we're fourth years." she said, speaking for her and Kayla. "My second name is Diana." she added.

Jessica was very tired. The only thing she really wanted was to get to the common room and take a seat on a comfortable armchair.

When she got there, she noticed some girls chatting, but didn't interfere, and sat by the fireplace instead. The girl wondered were Kitty was, as she hasn't seen the cat for a few hours.

This was Eva first thought.
"Yes. He did it. He can control emotions." Eva explained; it was something Kayla had discover on her own, and by that she was thinking on Jared. "See why I didn't want you near him?!"
She didn't care if Kayla thought it was cool what Sebastian could do.
She closed her eyes, couting until ten. That family was driving her insane.
"Your little friend spends his holidays trying to kill my boyfriend. Now, do you understand that tension between me and Jared?!"

There it was. She had said everything. She felt bad and relief at the same time.

Kayla smiled at Eva, touched that her friend was trying to look out for her. "I appreciate the fact that you care Eva, but I am a big girl and can handle myself" and Jared for that matter.

She looked at Eva with a shocked expression. "HE WHAT?" she yelled and then quickly looked around the common room. "Sorry" she added lowering her voice again. "I know Jared said that he could be dangerous but I just thought he was all talk. Why would he want to do such a thing?"

Eva laughed darkly. She was letting all go.
"He would be 'all talk' if it wasn't for someone. His uncle, who happens to Sebastian's father, encourages him. Because Jonathan Milan is a bigger git than Jared Glass." she just wished didn't choose that moment to enter in the common room or he wouldn't like what he'd hear; Eva thought.

"Please... Jared likes having the power to control. Just like Sebastian's father. Seems like it's a family thing." she said with sarcasm. All the hate she felt for that family was finally coming out.

"I see" Kayla replied in a whisper. "Why am I starting to see a pattern here Eva" she groaned softly. "For some reason I keep wanting to associate myself with guys who are nothing but trouble" first Nicholai and now Jared.

Kayla knew the answer to that one but didn't want to admit it. She was more like her grandmother than she cared to admit. "I'll stay away from Jared, if that's what you want Eva but really he could have helped out with a couple of situations" she chewed on her lip thoughtfully for a moment. Looks like she was going to have to come up with something else instead, she may act like a Slytherin outside of school but at Hogwarts she was all Hufflepuff, which meant she was loyal to her friends.

Eva didn't know what else to tell Kayla. In a way, she was ashamed to let her know almost everything. On the other hand, Kayla knew it.
"It's not what I want. But he is dangerous. You can't ignore it." she finaly said. She lay down on the couch.
"Can this day go any worse?"

Kayla flopped down beside Eva and laughed ruefully. "No I don't think it can" she replied. "I have never felt so miserable in all my life" she thought of Nico and she felt her heart twist painfully. "Eva, I said something to Nico that wasn't entirely true" she confessed in a soft voice.

Ross walked into the common room and once the light hit him his eyes went all screwed up , he didnt sleep last night and he had one thought that played in his mind over and over again.It was of astrid saying "No" to him. How could he have been so stupi asking a girl like that out. This was a girl that he now loved. Sitting down on the chair beside a fire he tried to divert his toughts.

Lauren walked in and saw a boy in the common room. He looked like he had been crying... She quietly walked up to him, trying not to scare him, "Whats wrong" Lauren asked in a soothing voice.
