Kait got up off the couch and headed out the exit and hoped that she went the right way, she should remember this from her first year.

Jessica felt reliefed that there wasn't any problem anymore. Upon hearing the girl's name, she remembered hearing it before. Yes, it was Edward who had told her about Ella!

"Nice to meet you, Ella! I'm Jessica Mayer." she introduced herself. "Edward told me something about you." she added.

"Hi, Kait, nice to meet you too! I'm Jessica, but I think you've already heard that when I introduced myself to Ella." she laughed.

"You know Edward?" asked Ella. "Cool!" then she noticed what Jess had said. "Wait......" she added. "What did he say about me?"

"Yes, I met him on the grounds. He seems a very nice guy. I assume- he is your boyfriend, right?" Jess asked.

"Don't worry, he only asked me if I knew you and told me you are in Hufflepuff as well. But later we had to hurry to class and I haven't seen him recently." she explained.

"Uh, well, yeah, he is nice, isn't he?" said Ella. Then the boyfriend question came. "Well, yes, I guess so," said Ella, considering. "I mean, we've kissed a few times, but not too much because a girl named Kairi is always around, and she tends to get mad whenever I even touch him....." Ella paused. "Really?" said Ella, surprised. "He didn't say anything else? I'm surprised. He seems to have quite a liking for me."

Christine laughed at Diana. I grew up in the muggle world, so muggle studies is really easy for me. Diana started to talked about her best friend then hesitated. That made Christine curious. So what's your best friends name/ Christine asked hoping that that would get Diana talking.

Kait walked back into the common room after very good breakfast and looked around for anyone she knew.

"It's nice to meet you Ella, my name is Kayla Winters" she replied giving the younger girl a smile. "So are all these tears over a boy?" Kayla already knew the answer to that. Only a boy could cause this many tears, she should know.

"Not exactly," said Ella. "But sort of. I'm better now, though."

"Ah...I see" Kayla replied. "Well as long as you're feeling better now. If you ever feel upset or unhappy again, then please don't hesitate to come and talk. I'm a good listener, my advice might not be any good but I do have a good ear" she gave Ella a smile.

"thank you," said Ella.

"Anytime" Kayla replied getting up from the chair. "I'll catch up with you later then, Ella."


Kayla made her way over to her friend and plopped down on the couch beside her. "So what's got you grinning like a cheshire cat?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

Eva looked to her side to see her friend.
"Hey you." she greeted with her very own smile. "Nothing. Why, I can't be happy for no reason?" she joked.

Kayla sighed, she had to stop being so moody. "Sorry, of course you can" she replied smiling at Eva. "But there is something isn't there?"

"I was only joking, Kay." Eva pointed that out. Indeed, she had received some good news, but it was nothing of what Kayla was thinking.
"If you think it's Sebastian-related, I can tell you it's not." she sighed. "I don't see him since I told him about that Jared thing." she added.

"Oh" was all she could think to say. "Are you two not together anymore then?" Kayla asked quietly. Now she felt bad because she was the one who told Eva that she had to tell Sebastian about Jared.

Kayla looked at Eva in confusion when she remembered what Eva had told her. "But I thought you said nothing happened between you and Jared?"

Eva smiled.
"No, silly, we're still together, but I haven't seen him much." she replied. "And nothing happenned between me and Jared. Really. Nothing happenned." she frowned. "What, you don't believe?"

"Oh...well that's good then" Kayla said with a small laugh mostly from relief. "Of course I believe you. It's just that you said you hadn't seen Sebastian much after telling him about Jared, so I thought..." she trailed off. "Nevermind, forget I said anything. I'll just take that foot out of my mouth now" she joked.

"I get your point. If it was the opposite, I'd probably think the same." she paused, remembering her last conversation with her friend.
"What about you and Nico?" she asked softly.

Kayla made a face at Eva. "Oh just splendid, we can barely be in the same room together. He keeps throwing the whole trust thing in my face and I'm about this close..."she held up her thumb and forefinger so that they were a millimetre apart..." to punching him in the face. So yeah things are just great between us" she said with sarcasm and rolling her eyes.

"Great!" Eva exclaimed with sarcasm. "But I got lost. He keeps throwing the whole trust thing? What, because of when you said you didn't trust him?" she asked. There was another question on her mind, that she asked softlty:
"Do you still believe he cheated on you?"

"Yes, he's very nice. You make a lovely pair together." Jess said sincerely. Then she heard the part about the medling girl.
"Kairi from Gryffindor?"she asked. "Don't worry about her. I suppose she's just jealous, but I'm sure Edward likes you very much." she added.
"Oh, he wanted to tell me more about you but he didn't have time." Jessica explained.

"Yes, because I said I didn't trust him" Kayla replied bitterly. She was sick to death of talking about Nicholai Toussaint.

She looked at Eva for a moment and thought about her question. Did she think he cheated on her? Well even if he didn't actually do anything with those girls even though the pictures showed otherwise, the fact that he was touching them and was tempted by them was definitely cheating in Kayla's eyes. "Yeah I do" she replied quietly. "And his actions of late just prove it."

Kayla sighed deeply, she knew Eva was going to disagree with her and quite frankly she didn't feel like going round in circles over the whole thing. "I don't want to talk about it anymore. I need to move on from this whole mess and the only way I can do that is to not mention his name anymore."

Eva almost burst out in laughs. With a guitly expression, she apologized.
"Good luck. To when you move on." she said in a low voice, poking her friend in the shoulder. Still trying not to laugh, she repeated: "Good luck."

"So, changing subject, has anything juicy happenned lately?" she asked.

Kayla rolled her eyes at Eva and decided to ignore her comment. She would move on of that she was sure.

"Well, it's not really juicy" she said mischeviously. "But I have been advised to start using my grandmother's name. So it's now official I am Kayla Cavello-Winters. I couldn't drop my parents name so I just decided to combine the two."
