Professor Blaylock paced the stone floor of her circular classroom as she waited for the students to arrive. It had been a long day and she couldn't wait to get it over with. Or at least, to hurry through this lesson so that she could continue the search for the girls.

Each circular table held three black pouches, one for each occupant of the table. Blaylock's own table in the centre of the classroom held a similar pouch and her customary cup of tea. It had probably gone cold now though, as she had not touched it in the past ten minutes.

OOC: Come in, take a seat and we'll begin the lesson soon.

Jezz looked up seeing a slight chance, "I can go check on him in the Hospital Wing, and send him your best wishes for recovery." she said to the Professor.

"This wont do at all! I can't have my students running around the castle." She said to nobody in particular. But...she really wanted to look for Adam. What if he'd broken his neck? What if he'd cracked his skull open and had just 2 hours to live?

What would she do?!

Erikson walked in, looking around the classroom which seemed to have both an unusually large amount of attention on the teacher, and remarkably little. He dropped his voice, causing it to carry through the class, hoping to settle them somewhat. "What is going on here?"

He looked up to his wife, who did indeed appear to be acting strangely, and waited to see her reaction to him standing there.

Jezz looked up, "Her tea was spiked with love potion." she said, "She thinks she's in love with Professor Dresden."

Ponessa jumped as Professor Erikson walked in. At a loss for words, she stood there, a few feet away from the professor simply blinking hard and looking at the rest of the class.

Then, Jezz found the words for her. "I-it's true, sir, I heard it but another student saw it."

Katelyn opened her eyes, and watched the commotion at the front of the class. She wanted to burst out laughing, it was pretty funny. Though she didnt, and kept a very straight, serious, face as she looked at Professor Blaylock and Erikson. Whoever had put the love potion ins her tea was extrenely brave.

Ariana looked up at the ale voice and shrunk back. Professor Erikson stood there, looking at everyone with a curious glance at his wife. She did't know what to do; no one ever listened to her so she basically gavce up trying to talk to anyone. She wondered if she could somehow sneal out of class, but than said, "It was a S;ytherin girl who put the potion in her tea professor. She faked an injury and left." in a loud voice.

Natasha turned at the voice of a newcomer and blinked in confusion. Suddenly she didn't really need to see Dresden. He was a friend, true, but he was in good enough hands at the hospital wing. Besides, she had more important things to do...like teach her lesson and...and smile at her husband.

"Armand, I'm conducting a lesson...we're casting runes, you're welcome to stay and watch."

Amelia frowned and fought off the urge to (physically) shake some sense into Blaylock. "But Professor! I'm telling you the truth. We made Amortentia in Potions class the other day, and someone used it on you." Amelia was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. "Besides, if you've been drugged with a love potion, then you would feel it's true. That's the way a love potion works, because they are so powerful that they feel real."

She sighed and decided the only way to get the Professor to see her side of things would be to get an antidote. Just as she was thinking of an excuse, Professor Erikson walked in. Perfect!

Amelia confronted the Herbology Professor right away, "Professor Erikson! Please trust me on this, but your dear wife here has been doused with love potion. It was slipped into her tea while her back was turn; we need an antidote right away, can you help?" She stood breathless, and hopelessly looked into Erikson's eyes.

He smiled softly to his wife, recognizing that look, and satisfied that she was alright. "I think it would be interesting. It's nice to see readings these days that are not my own."

Ponessa gave a noise of relief and returned to her seat. Omigosh that was close.... She picked up her quill and sat straight, as usual. The color that had left her face showed no sign of returning, however.

Amelia looked perplexed at the sudden change in demeanor of Professor Blaylock. Surely love potion couldn't be stopped by one glimpsing their one true love, right? I mean, there had to be a more concrete antidote to love potions. She sighed and just didn't know what to say; rather she returned to her seat instead because, well she felt slightly embarrassed at her outbreak.

Natasha felt like something was doing cartwheels in her stomach and tore her gaze from his before she did anything to embarrass herself (ooc: HAHAHA TOO LATE) in front of her students. "Yes, well...this would just be a practice reading as most of these students are first timers."

She turned back to her students with an odd look, "Why do you all look like Merlin himself walked into my classroom? Sit down so we can get on with the lesson."

Jezz was flabbergasted. "But-" she stopped. It was a miracle. She made a mental note: to stop the effects of a love potion use true love. She had a big smile on her face as she waited for the Professor to cast the stones.

Ariana sighed happily as it looked like the professor was back to normal. Picking up her quill, she waited happily for the lesson, silently thanking Eriksson for his timely arrival. She was in a much better mood now and hoped nothing else would happen.

Natasha smiled back at the First year Ravenclaw, "I don't know what's caused you lot to be so excitable today, but really, sit down and try to clear your minds. A clear mind is key in Divination, after all."

"Before we begin our casting, I think it's best that we try to identify some of the runes..."

She pulled her wand out and drew a rune in the air in front of her:

"This is the rune Fehu." She grinned at her husband as she said it, trying not to laugh as she recalled the last time he had tried casting a rune. "Can anybody tell me what it means?"

Katelyn seriously had no idea what it meant, but quickly copied down the symbol, the name, and waited for what it meant. She was really glad things had settled down and the class was going on without anymore interuptions. She glanced up at the board, and then back at her paper, maing sure she had everything copied correctly.

Once seated back down again, Amelia was red in the face from making a fool of herself just now. She didn't understand how true love could break a love potion, but it didn't matter because at least Blaylock was back to normal and they could hopefully finish the lesson. Her head was still throbbing worse than before, but determined to stick out until the end, she sat waiting for what they would do next.

Ariana rose her hand into the air, finally happy to continue. "It means Reward, Wealth, Nourishment professor." she replied with a smile as she jotted down a note.

"Correct, take two points for Ravenclaw." She said with a grateful smile, "Although, Fehu does not necessarily represent material wealth. Wealth can mean a spiritual, emotional or physical wealth."

She drew up another rune:

"And this little fellow is the rune Ihwaz. As you all study Ancient Runes, I believe you know better than me what this rune represents. Who can tell me?"
