As you enter the classroom, you first note how at the right and left you can find empty long tables. It seems that they have been used frequently, and you are left wondering how they have been able to withstand so much use.

The herbology tables are made out of wood and are spread out enough to give everyone enough room to take notes and practice with the plants.

However, currently, this classroom is locked. Professor Virohsa will surely open the classroom tomorrow, once the class starts. Once the classroom is opened, you are free to walk inside, find your spot, and await your first herbology lesson.

Kay re-read the properties of rhubarb and thought about her answer carefully. She raised her hand and began to speak. "Professor Virohsa, couldn't rhubarb be used restore moisture, such as a parched throat on a hot day? Maybe even cosmetically as a moisturizing astringent that can be applied to the face?"

"Now, I want you all to look at the blackboard again and use the following. We will be focusing on the five elements that ancient chinese culture, or traditional, used to determine when a plant was ready for medicinal use. I want you to use your wand to give light, the water pitchers to give water, your gloves to take earth away or to place more of it. We will not be dealing with metal or wood in this case", she explained. "Basically, make sure to try a bit of everything. If the plant loses its color and becomes paler, you know that you are doing something wrong. What we are looking for is for the flowers to turn purple. Feel free to work alone or in pairs", she added.

As she was about ready to turn and start walking around.. she remembered an episode that had happened on earlier terms.. "And don't poke the plants!!!", she snapped.

g_g copied the writings on the blackboard. she then took out her wand, pitcher and gloves. she examined the plant once more....unsure of what to do.

So yes, the poison could be used to take the original poison out", she said slowly. "For that insight, I shall award you 3 pts", she replied.

Bella walked over to her fellow Slytherin and congratulated him on his praise from the teacher. "Do you want to work together on the plants" She asked pulling her hair up, so that it didnt get in the way of their work.

Mithos put on his gloves and put the water pitcher and earth close to the plant. He took out his wand and cleared his throat ready to say the spell. "Lumos." He said clearly and rays light began to emerge from the wand. He didn't know how much light they it needed so he should kept his wand up and went for the water pitcher when BOOM! The plant exploded on his face. Mithos coughed and used a charm to blow the smoke away. Luckily his face was the same but his blonde hair was black. All black. Dark. "This is not my lucky day." He said to himself and took a long deep breath. "Professor," He said with his hand up "I need a new plant.... Please."

Zelot nodded her head in agreemnet with the Professor. She was right five was a few to many for one plant.

Obviously.. don't make all the plants explode.. They can wither, grow paler, die, become very very small, and so on.

Professor Virohsa was startled by the explosion. "Oh my.. Are you allright, child? Of course, of course", she added as she handed him another plant. "Do not put much light.. ", she told him slowly.
