Obviously.. don't make all the plants explode.. They can wither, grow paler, die, become very very small, and so on.

Professor Virohsa was startled by the explosion. "Oh my.. Are you allright, child? Of course, of course", she added as she handed him another plant. "Do not put much light.. ", she told him slowly.
