Lb finished taking that notes that he had taken during class and proceeded to coy the board. He also copied down the things that Professor Virosha had said about what could happen if you added to much of one thing. In careful bold capital letters, he clearly wrote, "DON'T POKE THE PLANTS."

Lb glanced at the board and went to get his plant. He wondered how he was supposed to make it changed colors. He sat the plant down in front of him and grabbed the soil and water that he would need. First, he added a handful of soil and the rhubarb began to whither. With some quick thinking, he added some sunlight, which made it a little darker. Taking cup full of water, Lb slowly let the water pour on the plant, careful to spread the water out. The plant started to regain it's color as Lb let out a deep sigh. He poured more water and sprinkled more sand on it as it started to turn a into a bright red color. He kept adding sunlight for about three more times all the while each time it became lighter. It began to turn a slight pinkish color. Lb was getting frustrated, so he pointed his wand at it again and muttered, "Lumos", and the plant shot a dark navy blue color. Praying that he hadn't ruined his plant and for his idea to work, Lb poured water around the rhubarb until it turned to a light purplish color. He added soil to the plant once more and the plant finally turned to the correct shade of purple.

Julie packed her things ready to leave the class.. she passed by Prof Vishora and said " Have a nice day prof" and walked out of class

During the class, David had lit up his wand slightly, which caused the plant to fade, but as he lit it, he took some earth from it as well, causing it to go slightly blue in color. He stopped lighting it and added a little water, which made it go a little pink, then finally, he added some earth, which made it go a violent purple colour. He smiled tohimself, picked up his quill, ink and parchment, wrote down what he did, and walked out of the classroom, saying ''Have a nice day'' to the professor.

Natisia hid all of her notes to the bag and went off the class saying Good bye to everyone

Nabiya rolled up her notes and placed them in her bag. She decided to wait around for a while, the Professor was bound to give homework, or maybe if she was lucky some sort of tip for the final exams. Her N.E.W.Ts were coming and she was willing to do everything to get outstanding marks.

Jacob then rushed over to the room and sat down. He then pulled out his quill and started to take notes on everything that happened in the classroom. He tried his best to avoid sloppy handwriting, but he wanted to get everything that happened so far.

Professor Virohsa shook her head. "Sometimes that happens, dear", she explained. "Do not worry much about it", she added as she took a more careful look at the plant. "Just... don't touch those thorns", she quickly added.

She saw the children leave and was glad that the class was over. She glanced towards the homework bulletin board and decided to wait for a couple of minutes before heading over there and assigning homework.

Dear God, these notes are piling up..

Jacob was starting to feel some fatigue during class and did not want to sleep. He tried his best to write notes and copy down what he sees, did, and what was the reaction. His monocle was starting to get a bit dusty, so he took it off, and placed it into his pocket.

After Jacob finished his notes, he then took out his Compendium of Materia Medica book and started to read. Then, he went over picked up and plant and started to follow what the Professor was doing.

Ok, it can't be that hard..

He then put on his monocle again, wiping the dust off, and started to repeat the directions, his plant, however, turned out to be a tad different. Each of the result colors turned out to be either a shade lighter or a shade darker than before.

4. Plant has turned into a purple color, with a growth of three inches

1) What I saw.
-I added the soil and it began to wiggle just alittle, not to much. It also seemed to shed it's leaves too.
-It absorbed the water and the leaves began to change to a richer green.
-I gave is some food, 2 pinches, the movements increased but the shedding of the leaves ceased.

2) What I did.
-First off, I put it into a large sized flour pot. I put water around it and filled it up as much as I could with the soil.
-Than I added 5 pinchesof food around the pot.
-I placed it in the light and it seemed to cower away.
-I took all the light out of the room and the movements cesased completely.

3) Plant Reactions.
-It grew with how much soil and water I gave it and the color got better as well.

What I Saw, did and how the plant reacted.
I saw my plant perk up when I added the little bit of water and light.
Then I saw that when I added soil and more water it started to droop.
Then when i added more light it started to perk up again and started to turn a lovely shade of lavender.

Bianca put her notes away and took out her wand. She stared at her plant thinking about what she should do first. She decided to start by adding soil. She added a cup of soil and the plant started to turn yellow. No, that wasn't right. She took half a cup of soil out, it turned green again but then didn't change. "lumos". Her wand let out a beam of light. The plant began to grow very quickly. She pulled the light beam off the plant immediately and it stooped growing. She looked at it in surprise. The flowers were purple, she had done it, but right when she realized it the plant began to dry up."oh no" she said, and poured a very small amount of water on it. It then began to straighten up, and to her surprise it lloked just like it was supposed to look. "yes, finally."

Katheyn slowly started to pick up her things. When she had everything she needed she called out a quick good bye to Professor Virohsa, and walked out of the room.

Rosa was still observing her plant, when she realised the sound of muttered spells and pouring water had changed into the sound of quills scratching... she hoped professor Virosha wouldn't see. She'd probably give her detention for laziness or something like that...
she looked at her plant again. It was looking different before she'd taken it... it had a lighter colour, and the leaves were hanging a bit. she'd been watching it with her nose about ten centimetres away from it. could all the air she'd been breathing out have affected the photosynthesis? but no.... you needed light for photosynthesis. Or was it the lack of light because she'd been bending over the plant? Only one way to find out.
she pointed her wand at the plant and muttered 'lumos' so that, hopefully, nobody'd notice she was so far behind. something changed in the plant, at first, it seemed to start growing again, but then it got an even browner colour. Rosa put a finger in the soil. it was dry. she grabbed a water pitcher and watered the plant, still lighting it. her plant slowly got a dark green colour and none of the leaves were hanging any more. she added some hands of soil and a little bit of water and the plant grew even bigger. the leaves were now a dark sort of pink on theit down side.
Rosa put her wand away and grabbed her quill and parchment, looking at the plant and playing with her quill, wondering what she could write on it and how she could explain the reactions.

What I saw:
When the plant is treated poorly, it will shrink or turn pale, but when the right mix of light, water, and soil is found, it turns a healthy deep purple.
What I did:
Gave it plenty of soil, Added too much light, Added water, tinkered with the amount of each of those three.
How the plant reacted:
It turned a little purple when I buried its roots in soil, but looked somewhat droopy
The excess amount of light made it shrivel
The water saved it and made most of it purple, but the contrast between large amounts of light then water left it with green polka dots. Then the small adjustments changed the polka dots blue, much closer to the purple color of the rest of the plant

Professor Virohsa waited until every single student had left. "Allright! That is all for this class. I will see some of you in the greenhouse.. and some of you during next class.. .Carry on!", she said in her usual cold and aloof voice.

After all the students had left she LOCKED the classroom and left.

Argyle comes into the Herbology classroom to find it a mess. The students have been playing with the plants again. Argyle waves her arm and the soil suddenly returns to the pots. Argyle snaps her fingers and five trays appear and land on the table. Argyle levitates the plants back on the trays. Argyle then collects the rocks the students didn't use and places them on the trays next to the plants. They will all have to be returned to the Greenhouse when Argyle is finished. Argyle then levitates the pitchers to the sink and empties them out. Argyle then dries them and returns them to the cabinet. Argyle then gets out her lambs wool duster and cleans the tables and Mistress Virohsa's desk off good. Then Argyle sweeps the loose dirt off the floors. Everything looks spic and span. "Argyle must remember to take Mistress Virohsa tea, cookies, and the Daily Prophet when Argyle is finished." Argyle levitates the trays and snaps her fingers.
