Oliver returned from lunch in a rather cheery mood. He though it went rather well, and was ready to tackle some more testing papers. But as soon as he picked up the first exam he remembered the Quidditch World Cup was coming up. He had to go, he put all the papers in his drawer and rushed out of his office.

Shin walked to his desk quite shy he looked down not looking at anyone he sat down and started looking through the papers he took a few and started grading them after a few papers he started getting used to it he took some notes one what questions seemed the hardest as time passed he had half them down but he saw that even tho he did half there was still alot to go through he examed the pile and he let at a small sigh...

Penelope entered the vast office and took a quill from her small beaded bag, she lifted a block of papers from the top of the main table and began reading them and parking in red ink in the top left corner the grade that she believed the candidate had acheived. "Shin," began Penelope, "is there many more to be brought in before the end of the shift?"

Ms. Chloe Everhart walked through the corridor outside the Department of Magical Education with her usual confident air. Her black and gray high heels perfectly matched her navy blue, black, and gray robes; the robes were flowing and feminine, but also professional and perhaps a little intimidating to any man who donned himself worthy of her time, energy, and love. Her dark, brown hair was tied back with a navy blue ribbon, and she wore a single, simple necklace around her neck. The pendant had three symbols fused together: Peace, Love, and an Open Heart.

Chloe was here to make a difference, to start on a journey that would change the lives of students. She wanted to be a teacher, more than anything else, but she knew that Hogwarts would never hire her until she had some experience. So, here she was, dressed to impress, walking around the Ministry of Magic, getting ready to enter the Department of Magical Education.

Finally she took a deep breath and strolled into the office, walking confidently as her heels clicked on the floor, hoping to turn heads. She entered the suboffice for the Department of the Magical Education Examinations Authority, and continued along the aisles until she found the new desk with her name on it. Setting her purse down on the table, she pulled out her wand and began summoning pictures, desk accessories, parchment, ink, quills, and various other office supplies. Arranging her desk, in her own little world, she simply smiled to herself and hummed lightly.

Shin was quite for a moment and looked up a Penelope "hmm I don't know really let me go take a look." Shin stood up and walked over to where he had gotten his papers and walked over to Penelope and sighed "there still quite a few but it could be alot worse really." Shin let out a small laugh and headed back to his desk to work on some more papers. As grading he noticed that some of the question where tricky he sighed and thought that he was lucky he was doing them because he wouldn't have know the answer to them.

After finishing the small amount of papers he had to do before he had got more he decided to have a coffee break so he went to get a coffee he thought to get Penelope a coffee as well... After getting the coffee's he sat the coffee on her desk and said "her Miss Penelope I don't want you to over tire yourself." Once he took a sip of coffee he headed to get another small stack of papers knowing not to bite off more then he could chew as he walked back to the desk he was skimming the first paper and he was surprised to see a question that he had saw before when he had to take the test he giggled a little bit once at the desk he sipped his coffee and grab a quill and slowly and carefully started grading the papers.

Charlie entered the office. He really had been getting behind on work and he felt absolutely horrible about it. He hurried to his desk and started to file through the papers. He let out a sigh as he realized the hole he had dug himself into.

Briony sauntered down the hall of the examination authority employees. She was on her way to the lifts for a break and she just decided to take a quick walk down here. She hadn't been in here for a while. She slowly looked at those people up and talking with others or some reading the Daily Prophet while sipping coffee. She smiled to herself.

She was also on the look out for those new in her Department. Never hurt to get on a name to face basis right? She spotted a new guy grading exams from the Hogwarts students it seemed. Briony walked up to him. "Hello," she smiled, looking at him. "Are you new to the Department?" she questioned.

She turned and saw Charlie at his desk. Wow she had missed him. It seemed since forever since they had talked. She wondered if he would see her. She didn't want to be rude so she turned and glanced back at the man in front of her.

Charlie looked up momentarily from his desk. He spotted Briony talking to someone who seemed to be new. He smiled and motioned for her to come join him. As he waited, he pulled out a stack of papers and started to shuffle through them. He really didn't want to start doing this, but he was so behind.

Shin looked up and blushed "Hi there is it that noticeable yeah I'm new to the department my names Shin what is yours" he extended his hand to shake hers.

"I'm observant so I can tell when someone's new or not," she gave a shrug. She liked meeting new people now. She took his hand and shook it. "I'm Briony. I actually work on the Inspection Committee," she explained to him. "Just passing through I suppose. Err...and my boyfriend works in this part of the Department." She glanced back at Charlie who seemed to be filing through more papers on his desk. She saw him motion for her to come over. She looked back at the man. "It was nice meeting you Shin. We'll have to talk again sometime." She gave him a friendly smile and headed towards Charlie.

"Hey," she grinned as he continued to clear the papers off his desk. "Long time no talk," she added, leaning against his desk.

Charlie looked up from his paper work as he heard Briony's beautiful voice. "It really has been a while hasn't it?" He smiled a little and stood up from his chair. He moved closer to her and gave her a quick kiss on the lips. "So what have you been up to lately?"

Shin watched Briony leave once she had left he starting thinking but he could focus he felt as if the papers he was suppose to be grading was forming a dark aura and was glaring at him. He slowly turned at the papers he and let out a deep sigh of despair it had seem that at the brief moment the papers had tripled in size he got scared but he thought of it like a game and he formed a evil smile and cracked his fingers and he drew his quill that was dipped in wine color ink and started grading again.

She grinned when he kissed her. Briony had missed that. She gave a sigh and a little shrug. "Not much. Sticking to the tasks of work and getting done what needs to be done. Oh and owling Thalia back and forth while she's at Hogwarts. She got transferred into Slytherin. Not to mention she has a new boyfriend and is asking me tons of questions and for advice," she told him with a light smile. Her niece was buys than her these days it seemed. She only hoped Thalia was using her better judgment when deciding on what actions she was making. "How about you?" Briony questioned.

Charlie's grin spread across his face. He nodded his head as Briony explained what was happening. "That's great that she got a boyfriend and the she was put into Slytherin. It is the best house you know," he said smirking slightly, being a former Slytherin herself. "Nothing much. I've been getting behind in paper work, as you can probably tell," he said motioning to the pile of papers on his desk.

She just shook her head with a smile. "Or so you say. Thal wasn't too thrilled let me be honest in the beginning. She seems to like it a lot more now. Her boyfriend's a Ravenclaw so my brother should be satisfied enough," Briony figured. Callum had always told her niece while growing up she needed to marry a Ravenclaw. Her boyfriend seemed like a nice kid and she was looking forward to meeting him. Possibly over Christmas Holiday she hoped. "Yes, I've noticed the clutter your desk has been over taken by," she raised an eyebrow. Her desk looked almost the same. Maybe a little cleaner. "Need any help?" she offered.

Charlie grinned and nodded his head. "Well, I'm glad she's starting to get used to it now. Slytherin really is a great house, but the people do take a while to get used to." He chuckled as she raised an eyebrow at his messy desk. "I don't think so. It shouldn't take me long to finish once I actually buckle down and get to work."

"Oh thanks, " giggled Penelope, "poor kids , some of this stuffs ridiculous - Hogwarts will manage though." This year's tests werent as good as last years but some of the papers were exceptional. Penelope found herself grading certain papers 'O's whilst others received T's and P's "So Shin, have you got anything planned for tonight?" Penelope asked , it was Saturday afternoon and they didnt have to work tomorrow.

"Yep, that's what she said. She's a cunning girl though so she said she fits in just great now," Briony figured with a nod. The complaints had stopped at the moment thankfully. "I'd still like to help in someway though," she offered with a smile.

Charlie chuckled. "I'm sure if she's a cunning girl she fits in perfectly." He smiled at Briony as she still offered to help him. "Well, maybe you can just help me get them sorted so that I can start going through and actually doing the paper work."

"hmm" Shin was thinking we hasn't sure "i dont think so" he let a small laugh "maybe visit a muggle museum how about you?" Shin took a sip of his coffee.

"Me too," she agreed with a nod. She had seen Thal around her brother's and she could get up to no good. "Thank you for finally letting me help," Briony smiled. "I just can't take no as an answer. Especially when it comes to this." She like to offer her time. Besides, it wasn't like she had too much work anyhow. "So, where do you want me to start?" she asked him.

Charlie smiled back at Briony and tried his hardest not to roll his eyes. He chuckled slightly. "Well," he said looking around at his horrible mess of a desk. "That pile over there," he said pointing to the pile farthest from where they were standing, "is the most recent pile. Can you maybe just sort out the different types of papers while I work on the older stuff that is in way worse condition."

"Oh , nice!" she said , "I'm not sure yet , I was going to do a bit of shopping in Diagon Alley maybe , I just need a few bits and pieces you know ?" Penelope beamed.

"yea i know what u mean i might just hit there as well i need to buy some more ink and a new quill" Shin laughed "maybe we should maybe go shopping sometimes." Shin took another sip of his coffee.
