Made by the AMAZEing Cassiopia Malfoy! CHAPTER ONE
The boy with slicked back blonde hair looked at me, well not AT me, but through me. Nobody ever looked at me, not anymore. I sat with my legs crossed, on the boy's bed. Not that he knew. I know what you're thinking, STALKER, but that's not true. I was in my room. He had invaded it, taken my posters down and put up his own. He had changed the bed, he had changed everything and called it his own. I can't really blame him, I mean, I had disappeared off the face of the planet and my family moved away without me...
I sighed, he was an interesting boy. He had troubles, I knew. His father was a death eater, as was his grandparents. His mother was okay, but not exactly the best at showing her emotions. But as of right now he was shoving everything a trunk, getting ready for his first day back to Hogwarts. He was entering his third year. I realized that it also marked my second year of, how to put it? Marked my second year of invisibility to the rest of the world.
I remember that day well, because it was supposed to be my first day of Hogwarts.
~FLASHBACK~
I woke up happily, my first day of Hogwarts! We lived close to the train station. I had my stuff packed for over three days. My parents were going to take me and my older brother to the train station, where we would go to platform 9 3/4, board the Hogwarts Express and go to Hogwarts!
We all drove to the station, and as I watched my brother disappear behind the barrier between platforms 9 and 10, my remembrall rolled out of my pocket. I had gotten it for my eleventh birthday. I ran to catch up to it, when I bumped into an odd looking women. She had a pointy chin, a thin face, tall witches hat, long robes, and a pinched expression on her sour face.
She stared down me with her beady little eyes, and snarled, "A girl that cannot watch where she goes," she picked up the remembrall with her crooked hands, "should not be watched at all."
I blinked at her in confusion, "Huh?" I asked simply.
She ignored completely then walked away. I would have sworn that her hand bumped my elbow, but I didn't feel it. I ran back to the barrier and through it. I boarded the train, being un-able to locate my parents. I found the compartment where my brother, William, was sitting.
"Hey William," I said, "Have you seen Mum and Papa? I wanted to say good-bye to them."
He didn't even look at me. I glared at him, we had gotten into a fight in the car on the way there, so now he was giving me the silent treatment. I walked in front of him and waved my hand in front of him, he didn't even blink. I then punched him on the arm, or, tried to. My arm went right through him. I screamed....and he still din't reacted..
I watched the rest of the school year, as he discovered that I was missing, when I didn't show up for sorting, even though I was sitting right there. I tried desperately to get someone to see me, but no one could, not the house elves, not the portraits, not even the ghosts. I still experienced first year. I went to classes, meaning I sat in the back and watched while no one acknowledged me. I still flew, kinda. I sat on the back of my brother's broom, even though he never saw me.
So there I was, watching this boy, my age. I had accepted my fate by now, I was live out my life as a ghost, more then a ghost, just a being. It was a lonely life. But it was mine.
I followed the boy to the train station, he walked there, dragging his trunk, broom, and owl, with him. I walked beside him silently, ready to begin my third year. We boarded the train together. He set in his compartment, I sat on the floor under the window. This was my brother's graduating year at Hogwarts and I started, as did the blonde boy, when William entered the compartment. "William," I whispered, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry that you can't see me."
"Mind if I sit here?" William asked.
"No, go ahead," the blonde boy responded.
"Thanks, I'm William by the way, William Stone."
"I'm Scorpius Malfoy. Um...you are the one who's sister went missing right?" Scorpius asked uncomfortably. I didn't realize Scorpius knew about me at all.
William nodded sadly, "Yes. Bethany. She came with us to the station her first year, then, nothing..." he shook his head, still mystified at how I went missing.
I sighed deeply. Scorpius cocked his head slightly and turned his head towards me. He squinted, but still looked through me. I held me breath. But then just shook my head, I was being dumb, there was no way he could see me. He turned back to William, "I'm sorry about your sister William. I'm sure, wherever she is, she is proud of you," Scorpius said, he looked embarrassed after, but I could tell he thought he said the right thing. And he did, and I was.
"I am proud of you William, I am," I said quietly, I never talked loudly anymore.
"Thank you Scorpius, but I doubt it. We had a fight, right before she went missing..."
Scorpius obviously didn't know how to respond, but I did, "William! William Stone, I am right here. I don't care about that dumb fight. I miss you William! Stop blaming yourself please..."
Scorpius looked confused again, "Did you hear something William? I thought I heard a girl's voice..."
William shook his head, "No."
Scorpius sighed, "Oh well, probably that high-pitched Weasley girl in the next compartment over, not that I don't like her or anything, she's just loud..." Scorpius covered quickly.
William smirked, the subject of me forgotten. I sighed and curled up under the window again. This would be a long train ride, and a long year. Also I realized that after this year, when William graduated, I would never see him again. Why? Because they moved away after my first year, and I don't know where the live, then William would get a job, and move again, and I would be stuck following Scorpius around until I "graduated".....
Then what would I do?
