This is the story of Harry and Ginny’s forbidden romance at the end of book 6 and replacing book 7. Dumbledore was killed, but instead of the Weasley’s being happy that Ginny and Harry got together they have disowned him and stopped her from seeing him telling her she will be in danger if she continues to. Ron was not happy about his sister and best friend dating and has not spoken to Harry since, whilst Hermione has been silent on the subject though siding with Ron but they are not yet dating. Harry without the approval of the order or the family has been sneaking to see Ginny, whenever he can get way from the Dursley’s, by broom and Knight Bus. Both he and Ginny don’t want to break up and both know about the dangers but they want to face them with each other.

Chapter one

They sat on the couch embraced in each others arms, there smiles of happiness were not to be taken away. He gently caresses her cheek with his hand while whispering in her ear. They were alone in the Burrow, and now they could be together without any interference.

“Harry, do you think they’ll ever be ok with us”
“Hmm” he nodded absentmindedly, “Eventually Gin, when will they be back?”
“Not for a while yet, you have time to leave before they do”
“I don’t want to have to go, it doesn’t seem right for me to have to leave you with them”
“It’s just for now; we just have to be patient”
“I suppose” He closed his eyes in thought. Then spoke,
“What did you say to them to get out of shopping today?”
She smiled putting on a faint voice and pretend cough,
“I just – cough- don’t think im up to it today-cough- its best I stay and rest” she giggled as he kissed her forehead.

“That’s very naughty” his kissed moved down the side of her face and neck as she continued to laugh and then turned around to kiss him passionately on the lips whilst sitting on his lap. There arms wrapped around each other tightly both hoping never to pull away when there was the sound of popping outside.

“Quick Harry, upstairs now” they ran up the stairs as the group came chatting into the house. “Ginny, Ginny” her mother called but there was no reply, “She’s probably asleep, Hermione could you check for me while I put the shopping away. “Of course Mrs Weasley”

Ginny threw herself into the bed and pulled the covers around her while Harry darted underneath it hidden by the valance sheet and boxes. “Ginny” Hermione whispered after knocking gently “Are you awake?”
She laid, eyes closed cocooned in the quilt breathing softly, the door closed as Hermione left to report to Molly.
Ginny began to giggle quietly stifling it using her covers as Harry breathed a sigh of relief
“It’s not funny” he crawled out “this is the third time I’ve had to hide, what if we get caught together Ron would kill me, and then your mother would dig me up, resurrect me and kill me again”
“I know, I know” she smiled at him, he could never be mad at her when she smiled,
“Why don’t you come and stay with me, im going to the leaky cauldron in two days, I can’t stand to stay at the Dursley’s any longer, and with there being no chance of me staying here my only other option is Grimmald Place which isn’t really very inviting” She nodded slightly and then pushed his head back under the bed at the sound of approaching footsteps.

Her mother strolled in to the room looking worried,
“Are you ok dear, Hermione said you were asleep but its time for something to eat”
“I just woke up now; I’m feeling a lot better actually. I think I might come down for some dinner in a minute” She stretched and feigned a yawn for her mothers gratification,
“Ok” her mother lent in and kissed her forehead affectionately,
“Ginny, you know that I’m doing this for the best” she perched herself on the bed next to her,
“Doing what?” She looked at her hoping for her not to continue,
“You and Harry, your not seeing him is for your own good”
“How is it, how is keeping me away from him in the holidays going to stop me from seeing him at school, it’s his last year and he has to face voldemort he needs all the love and support he can get but you, your disowning him and cutting him out of the only family he has”
“He’s only attached to you out of fear, you your self noticed the resemblance between you and his mother. He may care about you but he’s not going to put you in danger, I won’t let him”
“Harry would never do that to me; it’s not fear that’s brought us together only to have you rip us apart, it’s something more”
Mrs Weasley got up to leave, “Dinner will be ready soon”
“I’ve lost my appetite”

She left as Ginny began to sob into the quilt; Harry crawled out quickly and wrapped his arms around her holding her so close she could feel his heart beating slowly and the rhythm of his chest as he breathed in and out.

“It’s all going to work out, I know it will” He whispered softly to her
“How do you know Harry, how?”She looked into his emerald eyes pleading with him,
“I just do”

He held on to her snugly, then kissing her forehead and lips said his goodbyes and made his way to the window for the third time in three long weeks. She handed him his broom from her wardrobe and watched him flyway tears pouring, her heart breaking.

Ginny laid under the quilt, her eyes red and swollen she had silently cried herself to sleep ignoring any attempt from Hermione to talk to her. Hermione wouldn’t understand she knew she wouldn’t so there was no point in trying to explain. Her stomach began to make noises starved of dinner and breakfast, it was approaching lunch time and she refused to move. As soon as Hermione had left the room that morning Ginny had locked the door and gone back to bed, she couldn’t get up she didn’t want to. She reached over to the bedside table and settled her stomach with a glass of water, but it didn’t help. She needed the toilet, now she would have to get up.

She sat on her bed considering her options, sit here and be miserable, go downstairs and be miserable, go to Harry’s and be happy. She stood up and then remembered he was at the Dursley’s, she would go any way. She grabbed a rucksack from her cupboard, packing muggle and wizarding clothes. She changed into a black t-shirt and blue jeans, placed her money bag in her pocket, put her rucksack on and crept downstairs her wand drawn at anyone who was going to stop her. No one did. The house was silent then she heard laughter from the garden. She looked out the window and saw them all laughing sitting in the sun, they wouldn’t even know she was gone. Moving quietly she slid out the front door down the path and out of the garden gate to begin her descent down the hill towards a set of woods where she would signal down the Knight Bus.

She stoped at the woods entrance and held out her wand. The large, purple, triple Decker bus appeared before her and she climbed on board. “Privet drive, Little Whinging, Surrey please”

It stoped on the street, she stepped of giving her thanks to the conductor and walked down the pavement the sun shining brightly as she searched for number four.
Upon finding it she strode towards the door and knocked. “Yes” Said Petunia Dursley her yellow rubber gloved hands on her hips.
“Im here to see Harry” Ginny didn’t smile or even try and be polite she knew this woman didn’t deserve it.
“Hmm” her lips pursed, she glanced around the street nervously before grabbing her arm with her bony fingers and pulling her inside in fear of what the neighbours would think.
“He’s upstairs, second door on the right. Take off your shoes before you go up the stairs I’ve just vacuumed and be quiet I don’t want Vernon knowing you’re here.” She sneered before going into the living room and informing her husband it was just a salesman at the door.

Chapter Seventy – One

Harry woke to the gentle poking of Ginny on his shoulder, “Harry, Harry, its time to get up Harry”
“I like you better when you wake me up with a kiss” he said smiling,
“I can agree with that, it just depends on where you happen to fall asleep”
He blinked looked around and then remembered “Ahh”
“Yes, so you might want to be in more then just boxers when Ron wakes up”
“He’s going to be angry enough that he let us share a room let alone anything else we got up to” he replied with a sigh and moving to sit more comfortably on the floor.
“He maybe but just in case put some clothes on” She handed him his trousers and glanced around Ron’s room “He might not be so mad since he was with Hermione”
“Thought we weren’t going to chance that” he grinned putting on his glasses and handing her, her dress, she took it but lay it on the bed – they’d made use of the floor cause they both thought it would have been weird in Ron’s bed.
“I came prepared” she giggled pulling out jeans and a t-shirt from her bag,
“Just like a scout”
“What’s a scout?”
“Muggle thing – groups of kids that go camping and stuff, my aunt tried to get me and Dudley to go once, I was prepared he wasn’t” he chuckled at the memory of Dudley being caught in a tent with string and material all over the place, when there was a door opened next door and the sound of soft footsteps.

“Which one of them was that?” said Harry
“Hermione – Ron makes much more noise then that”
“What happened to Draco?”
Ginny shrugged and opened the door to peak out.

Hermione was looking at the couch standing at the end of it with a smile on her face. He was asleep, the blonde hair half covering his face as strands of it moved each time he breathed out through his nose. She watched him wake, blink and smile back as she walked to the entrance to the kitchen and he followed her. She stopped, something was said, he moved closer. Hermione backed away a little but was still smiling as they spoke. She saw them kiss and closed the door in surprise so she didn’t have to see anymore.

“What is it, who was out there?”
“Hermione”
“Was Draco there?”
“Yeh sleeping on the couch”

“I saw you this morning Hermione”
“Saw me doing what?”
“You and Draco”
“Draco and I what?” she replied with a slightly airy tone to her voice,
“You tell me”
“What s with the cryptic stuff Ginny?”
“When he followed you into the kitchen”
“Erm… Gin I’m sorry to ruin your fantasy but we talked while I made him breakfast”
“And the kiss on the way in was?” Said Ginny crossing her arms,
“That was him with me pushing him off – he said sorry, he knows it was a mistake, he loves Amy”
“Right”
“He does, he told me all about her, wouldn’t shut up about her it was getting annoying – kind of when Harry doesn’t stop talking about you”
“He says Ron’s the same about you”
“Exactly, so let’s not make a mountain out of a mole hill, I’m with Ron, you’re with Harry and Draco’s with Amy”

“So these potions basically do the same thing, they just have different ingredients? Said Draco sighing slightly fed up with Hermione’s long winded explanation of the topic.
“Exactly” she grinned
Ron laughed and Harry spoke
“Maybe you could tell us and we’ll translate it for Draco – we’re used to your way of explaining”

Hermione’s cheeks blushed crimson and she thought a change of conversation was in order, turning her attention to Draco
“When’s Amy arriving?”

Draco gave her a look suggesting he knew why she had brought it up and it wasn’t a new topic it was to make him feel guilty.
“Tomorrow morning – McGonagall has to go and get her from Azkaban this morning and then she’s to spend a night in Mungo’s before she gets here”
“Azkaban I thought they’d have kept her in Phoenix the last week”
“Nope the minister said if she was to not serve her sentence she should at least see what it would have been, she’s leaving her lifetime sentence early so she should be able to cope with a week in there”
“He’s a right git that guy” said Ron shaking his head,
“That’s what you get when you appeal a sentence” shrugged Hermione “He’s technically allowed to do it, she’s a prisoner of the ministry so he can do what he likes, your lucky he didn’t try and arrest you or Harry again”
Harry looked at his watch “I’ll finish this tonight, I’m gonna go meet Ginny at Hagrid’s, they’ve got a lesson in the forest”
“Surprising her are you” Smiled Hermione
“Molly said I wouldn’t be able to it at all, so when I can get away to I will” he said with a smile and packing his stuff into his bag “I’ll see you three at dinner I guess” he said and walked off and out to the grounds until he reached Hagrid’s hut.

He wondered how long this normalcy would last, not for long probably, nothing ever went smoothly and adding a Malfoy to the mix wasn’t likely to help no matter how changed a person he reckoned he was. He was suspicious of Draco but he wasn’t going to let him know that.

“I’m thinking the same” said a voice emerging from the forest, Hagrid and her class behind her. He looked up, smiled and took her books along with her hand before kissing her.

He smiled at the sound of Hagrid’s voice when the giggles from Ginny’s friends had died down; it was as if they’d never seen them kiss before.
“Ere ‘Arry, you two gonna come in for ‘O bit, Fangs been missing yah sum at rotten”
He grinned he knew it was Hagrid that had missed his company not Fang, and he was sorry not to have spent more time down here.
“We’ve both got frees” he said looking down to her and she nodded so he carried on “Course we’ll come in, you have any of those rock cakes?”
Hagrid’s chest puffed up proudly as he replied “Baked a fresh batch this morning”
“Brilliant” Grinned Harry, Ginny smiled and squeezed his hand whispering as they walked
“You can have mine, but keep in mind you won’t have a girlfriend if you don’t have teeth”
He laughed “What happened to even if you were a brain in a jar?”
“You said that not me” she said jokingly nudging his arm with her shoulder as they walked inside.

They walked back up to the castle teeth still intact but Harry’s stomach groaning miserably.
“You should never had had three”
“I was being polite” he held his stomach “Urgh”
“It’s your own fault sweetheart” she said smiling and swinging his hand with her own as they walked,
“I know” he groaned “You should have had at least had one”
“And then get food poisoning like you – I don’t think so” She chuckled “Come on we’ll get you a potion and then meet them for dinner”
“Urgh” he grumbled nodding “You can tell me why you don’t trust Malfoy on the way”
“It’s not just Malfoy I don’t trust” she murmured but Harry didn’t hear her.

Draco lay on his couch throwing a tennis ball up into the air and catching it again. They were too eager to forgive and forget which would make this so much easier to do. He threw it up once more and whipped out his wand as it began to fall, hitting it with a red bolt mid air sending orange sparks and bits of tennis ball around the room.

They were in the future and he was in the past. He wanted to find a way to restore his master when they wanted to move on. He changed his mind. He didn’t want Voldemort back, he just wanted that power, and the secrets to his success. He would improve where Thomas Riddle had failed. He would have Harry Potter as a friend not an enemy.

The kiss with the mudblood had been worth it to get the ball rolling. If he could make her want him more then that blood traitor she would tell him anything. With Amy’s arrival she would help, she could lure Weaselbee away from Granger.

The only thing that must remain unchanged was Harry and Ginny, there link, there bond was important to his success. He had seen it with his own eyes, the boy who lived wasn’t a man if he didn’t have his redhead to cling to.

Oh no, come on!! I wanted Draco to be nice!!!!!! He can't be so.....so....agrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!! I knew you can never trust a natural blonde!!! From my own personal experience I'm sure by now that they are evil people!!!!!!! Anyway.......Harry and Ginny are amazing together....for some reason however I'm sure that Ginny is gonna get suspicious of Draco, she always gets those things!!!!!

Lilly, I'm so sorry I missed like a thousand posts but I was out of everything; internet, computer, everything!!!! Your story is amazing as always and I'm so glad that Harry didn't go to prison....
I hope that Draco won't succeed...I think I agree with my friend the blondie that either Ginny or Harry will understand that's it's a trick...

Chapter Seventy – Two

Draco stood waiting patiently outside McGonagall’s office for them to arrive, the group was with him talking and laughing as he tried to piece together his plan of attack. He was yet to get Amy onside, she had trusted him and he had gotten her freedom the only way he could but this freedom had a purpose for the both of them which he hadn’t yet divulged.

The door opened and a cleaned up looking Amy to whom they had seen on trial stepped out with the professor. She grinned and jumped straight on to Draco who held her back just as tightly.

“Miss O’Malley, I think it would be best if you were housed in Gryffindor”
“Erm Professor” said Hermione “We all kind of had an idea that might make this transition easier for them both and us teaching them easier on all of us”
“Yes Miss Granger?”
“Well we thought they could move into the heads dorm with me and Ron – it would make studying along easier then splitting it between three dorms”
“I don’t know” She murmured thinking of the consequences if this went wrong but something was telling her to go with it for now. The vision of house unity from enemies to friends and the healing of the wound of war came to mind and she nodded “For a trial period of one month”
She didn’t notice the smiles of Draco and Hermione for completely different reasons.

Hermione woke up dressed and grabbed a book from her trunk to settle with on the couch in the living room of the dorm. It was a Sunday morning and as she settled in she looked to the two doors that had appeared on the opposite side of the room which led to Draco and Amy’s rooms. She went back to reading engrossed in a section about Transfiguration when she heard a voice whisper in her ear.

“Always the book worm, even on your days off”
“This is reading for pleasure not newts” she grinned keeping her eyes on her book,
“Sure it is” he laughed sitting opposite her on the other couch; he flicked his head to move the blonde hair out of his eyes and yawned.
“It is – it just happens to be on the topic we’re covering in class” She replied closing it and allowing herself to look at him. He had lay across the couch in his boxers and t-shirt arms behind his head.
“Really Granger, get a grip and find a different way to entertain your self on a Sunday morning”
She smirked “Unfortunately Ron’s not awake yet”
“I led myself into that didn’t I” he grinned shaking his head.
“That you did” She nodded with a smile, “you want some coffee?” she said as she got up heading into the kitchen
“Sure – just black for me”
He followed her in and looked through the cupboards picking out some biscuits; she looked at him and sat on the countertop waiting for the kettle.
“You know this is a boarding school were we do get food for every meal, everyday”
“Prison food makes you hungry all the time for what you missed out on” he chuckled eating two and replacing a packet in the cupboard. He got out two cups as the kettle finished boiling and lent on the counter remembering the first time he’d been in here watching her put in the coffee.

He had been going after Ginny and laughed at the thought he was going after someone else in here now, only they weren’t likely to hit him over the head with a pan.
“What you chuckling about?” She poured the water in, stirred and pushed his cup towards him.
“Hmm nothing, just a thought”

Hermione and Ron had left to see Harry and Ginny and give Draco some time with Amy that afternoon. Draco was prepared on how to go about this, the wheels were in motion and he couldn’t go back now, not after everything he’d done already or he might as well be in Azkaban. Draco was seated on the couch, Amy leaning against him and he started.

“Amy, I wanted to ask you to do something for me, something important?”
“I’d do anything for you, you know that Draco”
“But this is different – I have to tell you something you might not want to hear and you most definitely won’t want to do”
“Tell me”
“I’ve done something you will not approve of”
“What?”
“I’ve tricked them, this freedom; this changed Draco is for show”
“You can’t be serious”
“I am” he grinned and she looked up. She studied his face, the focus and truth in his eyes.
“Why? Why have you done this? Made me deny my family for you if you’re going to act like this?”
“Amy, we can have his power now, don’t you see, together we can complete his work” he drew up his left sleeve “This is us forever and to deny it is impossible, we may not be killers but there are other ways to gain what he had without bloodshed just mindset.”
“Don’t be stupid”
He stood up in front of her “You call me stupid, when I do this for you and for us. I need this power and I need what the Dark Lord had – help me do it”
“I can’t believe it”
“Can’t believe it why not?”
“Don’t mistake me Draco” she said standing up and pulling up her left sleeve with a grin “I can’t believe you never told me sooner – being this nice is killing me”
He laughed and pulled her too him with one arm “You’ll help me what ever I ask of you?”
“For you – anything my Lord” she smirked and pulled his face in to kiss him.

The six of them sat in the heads dorm studying for an upcoming Herbology test and Ginny a potions essay. Being all together had made things easier but Ginny had noticed the looks between Draco and Hermione even when things weren’t said. She hadn’t told Harry about the kiss but if things went further she would. She packed up her stuff and stood up

“I’m gonna go” she yawned “See you lot later”
“Wait a minute Gin and I’ll come with you” Harry packed up, he’d finished and was in need of a good nights sleep before tomorrow.
“Ok” She picked up her bag and Harry said his goodbyes as they left.
Amy was the next to go “I just can’t keep my eyes opened – by the looks of you Ron you can’t either” She laughed as his face jerked up at the mention of his name and he grinned waking himself up “I think your right” he chuckled. She picked up her stuff kissed Draco goodnight and went to her bedroom. Ron sighed “You should go to Hermione” he bent down and kissed her forehead and Hermione nodded to him
“I’ll just finish reading this and then I’ll go to”
Ron sauntered up to his room flung his stuff onto the floor and collapsed fully clothed and asleep on his bed after closing the door.

“Leaves just me and you then” he grinned
“Don’t get any idea’s now Draco” she smiled picking up her book,
“I can have them I just won’t act on them” he chuckled “Unless you’d like me too”
“I don’t think that would be a very good idea considering the circumstances” She replied not looking up afraid that if she did, she would like what she saw more then what she should.
“You think too much” he smiled packing his stuff away “Goodnight Hermione” he leant in and kissed her cheek, paused in front of her face and kissed her lips before getting up and leaving her sitting there eyes still closed in the moment.

Chapter Seventy – Three

Ron woke up, yawned and clambered out of his bed rubbing his eyes. Monday was his least favourite day of the week as it was for the majority of the students apart from Hermione. He remembered that her least favourite day was Friday because no one was interested in doing work on a Friday.

He grinned and wandered into the living room and then kitchen glancing at his watch, his body was adjusting to waking up the same time as Hermione’s and there she was sipping a coffee and looking out of the bewitched window.

“Morning” he smiled and she turned to him as he walked forward to stand in front of her.
“Hello darling” she smiled back putting down her coffee and wrapping her arms round his neck “You sleep ok?” she asked
“Yep like a log – you?”
She nearly said no but lied instead “Always do, it’s just your still in the same clothes as last night”
She grinned knowing what he’d done and forcing Draco’s kiss to the back of her mind.
“Kind of passed out soon as I got into my room” he said with a grin “I guess Amy was right, I was really tired”
“You’d better be awake enough for this test” she said with a smile “I’m stocking up on coffee to make sure, you better had too”
“No thanks” he smiled kissing her forehead and pulled away “I’m going to go get a shower before you decide to and take forever in there”
“Oh the banes of sharing a bathroom with your girlfriend – I don’t hear Draco complaining about sharing his with Amy” She laughed as he stuck his tongue out at her and walked back up there to the door in between there to rooms.

She just settled down again when this time it was Draco who appeared at the door.
“Draco” she said not looking at him but into her cup,
“Look about last night-”
“Don’t worry about it, just forget it, I have” She jumped down from the side forgetting she was holding the cup and his face moved into shock when the warm coffee leapt from the cup and onto Hermione down the front of her pyjama’s
“Ahh” She said as she just stood looking down
“Are you – are you ok?”
“That was really quite hot” she started and looked up at him and he grabbed a tea towel soaked it in cold water and handed it to her. She took it and dabbed at her front, her skin had turned red and the coffee was dripping onto the floor.
“Take it off” he suggested she looked up at him in surprise, and he pulled his t-shirt off over his head “Here” and handed it to her and watched her eyes looking down to avoid him.
“Don’t worry I’ll go out there” he grinned and walked out standing in the living room. She came out holding her coffee soaked top

“Thanks Draco” she smiled at him, but quickly turned away when she realised he was only in his boxers. He kept his eyes on her noticing how his t-shirt had clung to parts of her where her skin was still wet before tearing them away and forcing himself back into reality, back to his plan.

“I’ll go put some clothes on before you feel even more embarrassed shall I” he laughed
“That would be a good idea”

Ron wandered back into the now empty living room as he heard the shower go on in the bathroom and sat on the couch. Amy walked out of her shared bathroom in a towel and deliberately strolled past him humming to herself as she headed into the kitchen. He stared, he couldn’t help it, and she was gorgeous. Slim long legs, flowing black hair, she moved so gracefully it was off putting. He felt himself gawping, closed his mouth and turned away.

She felt his eyes on her and smiled wandering into the kitchen and returning with a glass of water “Morning Ron” she smiled and went back into her room leaving him to stare at the path she had taken and the door she went through.

He recovered moment’s later shook his head, and was reciting Herbology notes in his head to distract himself. When Hermione came back out he was relived not to have been left alone with Amy instead and asked to go down to breakfast early on the premise of avoiding her when she did come out.

Harry and Ginny were flying around the pitch waiting for the rest of the team to arrive for a practice session before there face off against Slytherin. She saw them first, it was Draco and Hermione walking over talking to each other and she swooped down and landed.
“Hey you two, where’s Ron and Amy?”
“Ron’s on his way – he couldn’t find one of his gloves”
“Amy’s in the library, she wanted to find a potion before she came”
“Oh” she shrugged “So you four living in there’s going well then?” she questioned them both and looked more at Hermione who replied
“Yep, I just have to learn not to move when I’m holding hot coffee”
She grinned and Draco laughed shaking his head “I’m going to go get a seat and wait for Amy” he smiled wandering off.
“What?”
“Long story”
“I’m all ears” Ginny replied coldly a hand on her hip as she held onto her broom.
“Don’t Ginny” Hermione sighed “I spilt coffee on myself when I was talking to Draco this morning”
“Why did you spill coffee on yourself, Hermione Granger never has accidents or does stupid things”
“Look it was nothing, we were talking I was sitting on the side and when I got down I forgot I was holding my cup and it went all over me so Draco gave me his shirt – he left the room so I could put it on” She added sharply “Just don’t be so paranoid please, we’re all just friends”
“I know what your doing, your fooling around with Malfoy behind my brothers back” she replied and jumped onto her broom flying up angrily as the rest of the team arrived and Ron came hurrying out and flew up to meet them.

“Ginny tell me”
“No”
“Come on”
“No”
“There’s got to be some reason why you’re not talking to her”
“There is but I’m not telling”
“Please, it’s making you angry and I hate to see you all pent up like this”
“Look Harry, just leave it, I’ll be fine when I sort this out, let me deal with it”
“No not if you’re going to be like this, she’s my friend too”
“You won’t want her as a friend if I tell you so leave it Harry, I don’t want you to lose her and I don’t want to lose her so don’t bring it up again”
“Ginny”
“No Harry”
“Gin”
“Stop it Harry, please”
“Ginerva Molly Weasley tell me what’s going on or it’s over”
She stopped in her tracks and looked up at him “What?”
“We said no more secrets, your keeping this from me. Tell me or there’s no more us”
“WHAT!”
“Ok so not no more us – but your not moving in with me in the summer”
“That’s better Potter” she replied sharply crossing her arms.
“Go on then” he said smiling slightly.
“Draco and Hermione kissed”
His face fell “You got to be kidding me”
“No – new years day when we were in Ron’s room and I looked out and I told you he was sleeping he wasn’t, he’d pounced on Hermione”
“I knew we couldn’t trust him”
“We are not telling Ron, she says there was nothing going on and that there was just a kiss but she pushed him off”
“That means it was all him the slimy git”
“Harry, come on he did say to her it was a mistake”
“You weren’t talking to her a minute ago”
“But what if I believe her, we know Hermione, we know she would never hurt Ron”
Harry nodded “Proves its all Draco”
“She told me he apologised, said he loved Amy and it was a mistake”
“Did she say whether these mistakes had happened again?”
“No, but like I said, we know Hermione, she doesn’t lie, she wouldn’t do anything to jeopardise what she has with Ron especially after how rocky things were over us two” she doesn’t do stupid things like pour coffee all down herself either but she ignored that thought.
“So we leave it for now, but if anything happens between now and the end of term” he sighed “Lets forget it”
“Fine, I’ll talk to her tomorrow” she lent up and kissed his cheek “I’m going to bed and not thinking about it - Night Harry” before leaving the empty common room and going up the stairs. He rubbed his forehead and now wishing he had never asked went to bed.

Ron wandered out of his bedroom in the middle of the night and into the kitchen. He woke up feeling hungry and looked in the cupboards choosing to make a quick sandwich when he heard a voice.
“Can’t sleep either?” he heard footsteps and turned around to met her.
“Yeh, I get it sometimes you wake up and you-”
“- you just need food” she said laughing “Same here” she leaned across him for the knife and butter taking out some bread from the loaf as well. He suddenly felt exposed in his boxers and she noticed
“Don’t worry about feeling embarrassed, I have two older brothers and Draco’s not all that shy” She was sporting a singlet and short shorts and hardly unexposed her self and he just laughed.
“With that kind of attitude I’m feeling a lot more comfortable now”
“You should, not like you have anything to be embarrassed about with that kind of well formed physic” she smirked brushing past him as she walked out of the kitchen sandwich in hand.
“Not so bad yourself” he murmured finishing making his sandwich and following her out to see her sitting on the couch. He sat opposite her and she spoke up first.
“So you’re the keeper for the team, how’s that working for you?”
“Alright I guess, sometimes feels like I’m only on there cause of Harry” so now he was spilling his guts to her half nakedly. She just smiled “Don’t feel like that, I’ve seen you at practice remember, I know you earned your place and so does everyone else”
He took a bite of his sandwich “I guess”
“Don’t guess Ron, be certain or you’ll never get what you want”
