This is the story of Harry and Ginny’s forbidden romance at the end of book 6 and replacing book 7. Dumbledore was killed, but instead of the Weasley’s being happy that Ginny and Harry got together they have disowned him and stopped her from seeing him telling her she will be in danger if she continues to. Ron was not happy about his sister and best friend dating and has not spoken to Harry since, whilst Hermione has been silent on the subject though siding with Ron but they are not yet dating. Harry without the approval of the order or the family has been sneaking to see Ginny, whenever he can get way from the Dursley’s, by broom and Knight Bus. Both he and Ginny don’t want to break up and both know about the dangers but they want to face them with each other.

Chapter one

They sat on the couch embraced in each others arms, there smiles of happiness were not to be taken away. He gently caresses her cheek with his hand while whispering in her ear. They were alone in the Burrow, and now they could be together without any interference.

“Harry, do you think they’ll ever be ok with us”
“Hmm” he nodded absentmindedly, “Eventually Gin, when will they be back?”
“Not for a while yet, you have time to leave before they do”
“I don’t want to have to go, it doesn’t seem right for me to have to leave you with them”
“It’s just for now; we just have to be patient”
“I suppose” He closed his eyes in thought. Then spoke,
“What did you say to them to get out of shopping today?”
She smiled putting on a faint voice and pretend cough,
“I just – cough- don’t think im up to it today-cough- its best I stay and rest” she giggled as he kissed her forehead.

“That’s very naughty” his kissed moved down the side of her face and neck as she continued to laugh and then turned around to kiss him passionately on the lips whilst sitting on his lap. There arms wrapped around each other tightly both hoping never to pull away when there was the sound of popping outside.

“Quick Harry, upstairs now” they ran up the stairs as the group came chatting into the house. “Ginny, Ginny” her mother called but there was no reply, “She’s probably asleep, Hermione could you check for me while I put the shopping away. “Of course Mrs Weasley”

Ginny threw herself into the bed and pulled the covers around her while Harry darted underneath it hidden by the valance sheet and boxes. “Ginny” Hermione whispered after knocking gently “Are you awake?”
She laid, eyes closed cocooned in the quilt breathing softly, the door closed as Hermione left to report to Molly.
Ginny began to giggle quietly stifling it using her covers as Harry breathed a sigh of relief
“It’s not funny” he crawled out “this is the third time I’ve had to hide, what if we get caught together Ron would kill me, and then your mother would dig me up, resurrect me and kill me again”
“I know, I know” she smiled at him, he could never be mad at her when she smiled,
“Why don’t you come and stay with me, im going to the leaky cauldron in two days, I can’t stand to stay at the Dursley’s any longer, and with there being no chance of me staying here my only other option is Grimmald Place which isn’t really very inviting” She nodded slightly and then pushed his head back under the bed at the sound of approaching footsteps.

Her mother strolled in to the room looking worried,
“Are you ok dear, Hermione said you were asleep but its time for something to eat”
“I just woke up now; I’m feeling a lot better actually. I think I might come down for some dinner in a minute” She stretched and feigned a yawn for her mothers gratification,
“Ok” her mother lent in and kissed her forehead affectionately,
“Ginny, you know that I’m doing this for the best” she perched herself on the bed next to her,
“Doing what?” She looked at her hoping for her not to continue,
“You and Harry, your not seeing him is for your own good”
“How is it, how is keeping me away from him in the holidays going to stop me from seeing him at school, it’s his last year and he has to face voldemort he needs all the love and support he can get but you, your disowning him and cutting him out of the only family he has”
“He’s only attached to you out of fear, you your self noticed the resemblance between you and his mother. He may care about you but he’s not going to put you in danger, I won’t let him”
“Harry would never do that to me; it’s not fear that’s brought us together only to have you rip us apart, it’s something more”
Mrs Weasley got up to leave, “Dinner will be ready soon”
“I’ve lost my appetite”

She left as Ginny began to sob into the quilt; Harry crawled out quickly and wrapped his arms around her holding her so close she could feel his heart beating slowly and the rhythm of his chest as he breathed in and out.

“It’s all going to work out, I know it will” He whispered softly to her
“How do you know Harry, how?”She looked into his emerald eyes pleading with him,
“I just do”

He held on to her snugly, then kissing her forehead and lips said his goodbyes and made his way to the window for the third time in three long weeks. She handed him his broom from her wardrobe and watched him flyway tears pouring, her heart breaking.

Ginny laid under the quilt, her eyes red and swollen she had silently cried herself to sleep ignoring any attempt from Hermione to talk to her. Hermione wouldn’t understand she knew she wouldn’t so there was no point in trying to explain. Her stomach began to make noises starved of dinner and breakfast, it was approaching lunch time and she refused to move. As soon as Hermione had left the room that morning Ginny had locked the door and gone back to bed, she couldn’t get up she didn’t want to. She reached over to the bedside table and settled her stomach with a glass of water, but it didn’t help. She needed the toilet, now she would have to get up.

She sat on her bed considering her options, sit here and be miserable, go downstairs and be miserable, go to Harry’s and be happy. She stood up and then remembered he was at the Dursley’s, she would go any way. She grabbed a rucksack from her cupboard, packing muggle and wizarding clothes. She changed into a black t-shirt and blue jeans, placed her money bag in her pocket, put her rucksack on and crept downstairs her wand drawn at anyone who was going to stop her. No one did. The house was silent then she heard laughter from the garden. She looked out the window and saw them all laughing sitting in the sun, they wouldn’t even know she was gone. Moving quietly she slid out the front door down the path and out of the garden gate to begin her descent down the hill towards a set of woods where she would signal down the Knight Bus.

She stoped at the woods entrance and held out her wand. The large, purple, triple Decker bus appeared before her and she climbed on board. “Privet drive, Little Whinging, Surrey please”

It stoped on the street, she stepped of giving her thanks to the conductor and walked down the pavement the sun shining brightly as she searched for number four.
Upon finding it she strode towards the door and knocked. “Yes” Said Petunia Dursley her yellow rubber gloved hands on her hips.
“Im here to see Harry” Ginny didn’t smile or even try and be polite she knew this woman didn’t deserve it.
“Hmm” her lips pursed, she glanced around the street nervously before grabbing her arm with her bony fingers and pulling her inside in fear of what the neighbours would think.
“He’s upstairs, second door on the right. Take off your shoes before you go up the stairs I’ve just vacuumed and be quiet I don’t want Vernon knowing you’re here.” She sneered before going into the living room and informing her husband it was just a salesman at the door.

Chapter Fifty (Part One)

“I was comfortable then” She grumbled rolling over, as he moved. There was talking and laughing coming from the rooms below.
“So was I but Gin, we have company like you said we would” he got out of the bed and pulled on boxers.
“What?”
“People, downstairs, it’s the afternoon now and Kreacher has unlocked the door and let them in” He pulled on socks.
“People” She replied blinking and sitting up “But why are they here, I mean it’s not Christmas for three more days”
“Two days now, and there your brothers by the sound of the laughter”
“Downstairs, my family” she said slowly processing the information as he zipped up his jeans.
“Yes Gin, so you might want to put clothes on or shall I go down and tell them you’re still asleep”
She just nodded and blinked, as he put on a t-shirt. “I’ll take that as a yes you’ll get dressed” he smiled and leaned over kissing her forehead “Be quick or they’ll come up and check I haven’t stunned you and hidden you in a closet” He smiled and unlocked the door walking out of it and downstairs. She was still in shock and then she snapped out of it leapt up grabbed underwear, a towel and clothes and ran to the bathroom.

"Nice of you to join us Ginny” laughed Fred as she came down the stairs. George and Fred along with the two girls beside them and Ron and Hermione all laughed and Harry smiled as she scowled at them. “Shut it Fred” she glared at him and sat on Harry’s lap after seeing the two couches were full.
“You never fail to be polite sis, this is Sarah” he replied smugly, nodding his head at the girl next to him
“Nice t-shirt too, one of Harry’s then” Said George
“Don’t say another word George” She curled up into Harry’s arms against his side.
George replied grinning, “I brought Amber, is seven words ok”
She made an annoyed noise and then smiled at the two girls.
“Gin, Fred and George wanted us to meet there girlfriends before your mum got there hands on them” Said Harry
“You poor unfortunate girls to have them as boyfriends and to have to meet my mother”
“Don’t scare them Ginny” smiled Hermione to them.
“It’s not that bad” smiled one of them “I’m Amber by the way”
“Im sure your mums not so scary, is she?” said the other turning to Fred,
“No she’s not that much of a dragon lady Sarah, it will be fine” He smile reassuringly as Ron, Harry Ginny and Hermione burst into laughter.
“Bloody hell Fred, are you trying to loll them into a false sense of security” grinned Ron. “You went to school with us surely you heard the howler she sent me, imagine that times a thousand”
The girls just laughed and Fred and George looked at each other.
“Ok” said Fred “You’re the experts in bringing your other halves home to mum”
“What do we do?” Grinned George “Since it went so well with you and Harry didn’t it Ginny”
“That was different” She frowned at her brothers “There was more danger of Harry and I being killed by Voldemort then Mum”
“I suppose” smiled Fred
“So what about you Hermione?” said George grinning,
“Well Molly’s known me and Harry since we were eleven its going to be different for us compared to them, there going to be like strangers so she won’t shout she’ll be really, overly nice” she smiled “Not a dragon lady until you get to know her a little better and even then I don’t think your mums that bad”
“Compared to your mum Hermione” smiled Ron “Compared to yours ours is a crazy Hungarian Horntail”
“Who you happened to agree with on several things” pointed out Harry “Which makes you just as barmy”
“Oh thanks mate” grinned Ron as the twins and there girlfriends just listened and laughed.
“So are you all coming to the Christmas party Harry and Ginny are throwing?”Said Hermione
“Of course” smiled Amber “That is if we’re invited?”
Harry laughed “Any one mad enough to date any of those brothers is invited”
“And you get to meet Fleur who had the misfortune of marrying one though I think Bill was worse off in that case” Smirked Ginny
“Gin, she’s not that bad” Sighed Harry,
“And neither is being hit with a stinging hex” She smirked and lay against his chest but he cringed as she unknowingly put pressure on the bruise. He whispered and moved her slightly as the others talked amongst themselves
“Gin, could you just move a bit to the side the bruise”
“It still hurts?” she replied quietly
“Yeh, give it a few weeks, its still pretty purple”
She moved and turned “I haven’t really looked at it” she grinned “We were busy, sorry if I hurt it when we were – you know”
“I wouldn’t have noticed either Gin” they laughed and they everyone else looked up
“What’s so funny?” asked Ron,
“Nothing” replied Ginny a sly smile on her face “Just discussing something amusing. So, Amber, Sarah, how long have you had the pleasure of dating the twin pains in the butt?”
“A while” said Fred
“I little while” finished George
Amber and Sarah looked at each other an grinned “We’re best friends, have been since Hogwarts, we were both in Ravenclaw” Said Amber
“We met them on the train on our first day and now so long later we have been dating them for about a year now” Carried on Sarah
“And even picked up there habits of finishing there sentences as well as each others” smiled Amber
“So it does get confusing” finished Sarah
“Mums going to have so much fun with you four” laughed Ron “You’re going to confuse the hell out of her”

Chapter Fifty (Part two)

“So I’m staying at the Burrow Christmas eve and then you get me Christmas day and night” Said Ginny playing with his hair as she sat on his lap on the couch.
“I can live with that” he grinned “What are you doing tomorrow?”
“Probably helping set up for Christmas day, mum will want a hand with the cake and sorting out the rooms for the twins and Bill, Fleur Charlie and Percy”
“How are you all fitting in that house?”
“Hermione will be in my room as well, then there’s Charlie and Percy sharing since neither of them have girlfriends coming, Bill and Fleur in his old room, and the twins in Ron’s room with him so there girlfriends have there old room”
“And why is know one using my free rooms?”
“Mum insists they all stay at the burrow, and she wants me away from you for one night and one day to see if I can manage it”
“That hurts” he grinned “But if some of them stay here the couples can have there own rooms and we could come round in the morning when I do and it will be like they stayed there”
“Mum’s stubborn, but she might let Ron so the twins don’t fight with him and if its suggested to Bill and Fleur I’m sure she’ll say yes she doesn’t like the Burrow much and there allowed to chose since there how many years older, and Charlie will say yes no doubt he likes you but not the thought of sharing a room with Percy” she laughed
“Well you could ask and see there three rooms available and the attic or Regulus’s old room”
“Yeh and anyway it’s closer then where any of them live”
“Well they did all kind of move to get away from your mum”
“They did and now there roped into seeing her every Christmas and birthday until she dies”
“So will you sweetheart, when you move in here she’ll be round probably every day in the holidays to check”
“I plan on not having the fire place connected to the Burrow and I’m sure you can cast the spell so no one can apparate in either”
Harry laughed “Really Gin, I don’t think she’s that bad, just a tad over protective of her youngest child and only daughter who plans on leaving home to shack up with her boyfriend in a big empty house and lots of free time”
“You make it sound like I’m a terrible daughter” She grinned “How do you think Amber and Sarah are getting on with her”
“It’s like Hermione said, she’ll be overly nice until they get to know her better” Said Harry
“And then they’ll find out how mad she is, if they get married or decide to live together” Smiled Ginny rolling her eyes.
“Have you ever thought about getting married?”Harry said wrapping his arms around her as she turned to sit sideways so she could see him properly.
“Not really I more…. Dreamt about it”
“But you will let me make an honest woman out of you one day?” he laughed
“I suppose I could”
“You suppose?”
She giggled “One day, when you ask me I will most likely say yes”
“Most likely?” he began to tickle her “Why most likely?” he grinned as she giggled and tried to get out a, reply
“Stop – Harry – please” she laughed “I’ll – say – yes” She giggled again trying to push his hands away “Of – course - I’ll - say - yes” He stopped and lifted her up so she was sitting again, “Good answer” He grinned.

Ginny nodded but didn’t say anything else. She didn’t want him to know she had dreamed of white dresses, bouquets and Harry waiting for her as her father walked her down the aisle since she had first met him at ten years old. It had been five years of moving on from Harry and then finding out he felt the same had changed everything and what she wanted in life had settled on him, a life with him and nothing else.

Would he understand then how much he meant to her and feel the same completely or be freaked out that she had dreams of marrying him after one meeting when she only said two words?

“What you thinking about Gin?” He sat watching her as she seemed to drift off into a day dream.
“Oh, nothing” she smiled and shook her head
“You can tell me anything, I won’t think you’re mad”
“It’s nothing really, just a thought”
“Hmm” he wasn’t convinced but thought it best to leave it.
“Ok, I’ll tell you” She smiled and turned around completely her legs by his sides and her arms at his neck. He gave her a look that said ‘go on then’ and she laughed “This is very embarrassing” she shook her head and he leaned in kissing her gently,
“Don’t tell me if you don’t want to”
“No, no I want to” she smiled “Ok, I was thinking about when we first met”
“I remember that, you wished me good luck”
“And after that you remember how nervous I was around you”
“The seeing me and running away, yep”
She laughed “not exactly running away now am I” she smiled “But after I met you, I had dreams, and they included you”
He looked at her grinning
“I told you embarrassing, but these dreams consisted of you, me … and a white dress” she finished quickly.
“You knew, all the way back then, what seven years ago, you knew you wanted me?” She nodded, her face set in a smile.
“You waited for me to come to my senses even though you didn’t know if I would, but why agree to be with me after I barely noticed you and you had Dean and Michael who did? Why give me a chance?”
She shrugged “I never got over you Harry, Hermione told me to move on afraid you wouldn’t notice me and I would be worse off, but I never gave up”
“I’m so sorry Gin; I wish could have been with you so much longer then I have -”
“- Harry we have the rest of our lives for you to make it up to me”
He pulled her into a hug “Your ridiculously forgiving, you know that Gin”
“Only with you Harry, fortunately for you I love you so it’s not that hard” She pulled away slightly and kissed his lips softly
“Not that hard” he grinned “Well I love you, and that makes everything simple for me” He pulled her into a hug again. They sat curled up on the couch until Kreacher called them for dinner the smell of chicken pie wafting through the house.

Ginny went back to the Burrow reluctantly for the next day to help and the day after which was Christmas Eve. She was kept busy by her mother that she didn’t have a chance to see Harry at all and was so glad to climb into her bed on Christmas Eve know she would see him in the morning and finally find out what the present was. Harry spent the next two days finishing off everything and sorting out the last of the decorations and food ready for the big day. Everyone invited had said they would come and the house was going to be ready to burst at the seams. Kreacher was kept busy cleaning and keeping Sirius’s mother quiet when Ron and Charlie arrived on Christmas Eve laden with butter beer and fire whiskey ready to keep away from there mother and brothers.

“Hey Harry” grinned Ron as he walked out of the fire place and threw himself onto the couch “Happy Christmas Eve” he grinned.
“Yeh you too mate” Harry laughed and sat on the couch opposite as Charlie stepped out quickly,
“She nearly caught me Ron, how come you got to go first?”
“Caught you, I thought you would be fine your like twenty odd you can do what you want” Said Harry in disbelief.
“Yeh but im still her son so she still has control when I’m at the Burrow” He replied sitting next to Ron, “We didn’t tell her we were coming here instead of staying there” Said Ron opening a bottle and taking a drink.
“Then I’m dead meat aren’t I” said Harry shaking his head
“She won’t know, Percy thinks that Charlie has gone out on a job for the ministry” Started Ron,
“Something with a dragon in the Pennines” Said Charlie grinning
“And will be back when he’s asleep and the twins are covering for me so they get there ‘alone time’ with there girlfriends” he made a vomiting gesture with his fingers as Charlie and Harry laughed.
“Ok but if your mum finds out and asks it wasn’t my idea or she’ll change her mind about me and Gin”
“Meh, I don’t think so somehow, she may think your stealing her daughter but she likes you really” Charlie said grinning, “She thinks you’re her adopted son you’ve not nothing to worry about”
“So those weeks of her banning me from seeing your sister were all for fun then”
“Yep, she was just worried”
“Sure… worried” Harry took a swig of his drink listening to Ron continue to talk to Charlie as he abandoned the conversation. After a few hours Harry got up “Night guys, I’m going to bed, Kreacher will show you your rooms”
“Night Harry” they both replied watching him leave and then kept talking on the couch.
“What was with the silence?” Said Charlie to Ron after Harry had gone,
“He’s a thinker, he’s probably churning over what you said about what Mum thinks of him” Ron replied, “its better then him exploding in anger anyway, but then that’s only with me”
“That because he’s right, you did side with Mum; you didn’t give him and Gin a chance, and look where they are now – happy for once – both of them. Gin needs him and he needs her or they wouldn’t have made it though everything”

Haha you make Mrs. Weasley sound like Dracula or something! LOL!!! My grandmother is just like that!!! Okay, wanna hear something tragic? I'm dreaming of marrying my best friend since we were little kids!!! And he doesn't even know...Okay, I can't believe I just said that!!! Whatever...PAMS!!!

Anyways. I loved it Lilly! It was lovely. but i think its funny what they said about Mrs. Weasley. She'll be nice until you get to know her. Hahaha

Anyways...to the post; Ginny and Harry are made for each other but I was never for the whole wedding thing. I'm just not marriage material. I never had that dream of marrying someone, though I've been in love. Mrs. Weasley seems so like an hysterical mother, I don't think she really is that bad...is she? PAMS!!!!! Loved it...and you of course Lilly!!!
