Default Whitley Hall: The Skylar Home

Whitley Hall is in the country side just outside of Muggle London. Beyond the borders of London and into the lush green lands sits the Hall miraged by all of its magical enchantments. It has all of the splendor of a traditional Muggle Manor and yet its Magical inhabitants make the house their own.

The house is lived in by the Skylar family: Jake, Sophia, and Selina their daughter. However, due to the death of a school friend's father the Skylar's have all taken in the two James children: Elyon and Christopher. The property is large enough for a family of seven times their size. Whitley Hall is, with its garden and Pitch and grounds, a very large piece of property. However, most times of the year the house is empty when Selina, Elyon, and Christopher are off at school and Sophia and Jake are busy with their work schedule.

The layout of the house is simple.

The downstairs floor is compiled of the foyer, living room, the adult study, library, art studio, kitchen, bathroom, and the dinning room.

The upstairs floor is compiled of the adultsbedroom, Sophia's closet , Jake's closet, adult bathroom, Selnia's bedroom, Selina's closet , Selina's bathroom, guest bedroom, purple guest bedroom, black guest bedroom, pink guest bedroom, and the guest bathroom.

The grounds are compiled of the lake, the Pitch, the broomshed, the garden, and the indoor pool.

Of course the broomshed has been renovated to fit the two new additions to the Skylar clan. This once small shed has adapted an expansion charm to fit a kitchen, a bedroom for two, and a living room.

The door is always open to friends of the family and of course the only way into Whitley Hall is to have been told by the secret keeper. Therefore the only visitors are friends and family.

SPOILER!!: House Characters

Jake Skylar- Professional Quidditch Player for the Fowlmouth Falcons. Loving father and silly man in general, but has a wicked temper.
Sohia Skylar- Ambassador of Australia for the British Ministry of Magic. Organized and anal, but has a big heart underneath.
Selina Skylar- Current Hogwarts student. Rambunctious and Quidditch-driven. Has a right awful temper, but is a loyal and fierce friend.
Christopher James- Current Hogwarts Student. Shy and a huge reader with a big heart. Has a very quick temper when it comes to his idea of injustice, but loves his girlfriend, Violet Le Veela, enough that people know he is good.
Elyon James- Current Hogwarts Student. Out-going and unique. Believes solely in the motto that good exists in everyone.

OOC. This is a thread for people who are friends of the Skylars. Come on in and join the party. The house is a place for good times and good people.

I do ask that all people who RP in here are either invited by myself into the house or they PM me about RPing here. Thanks a ton! And have fun.

Skylar Home- First Scene
Jake walked into his home and made his way to the kitchen. He knew that Sophie was no doubt at the Ministry finishing up her last piece of contracting before she started her official first day at the Ministry. To be honest that was all she had seemed to be doing lately.

As he made his way through the kitchen he stopped to put his jacket down on the garnet and then made his way into the living room. Throwing himself down on his couch he thought to himself- Selina was coming home today. He had missed his little girl since her enrollment at Hogwarts. The house was too quiet. She was always making a ruckus. But with the summer holiday coming his house would be alive once more. He had no doubt she would have friends coming in and out all summer. Some even were staying for the duration: these Violet, Kurumi, and Elektra characters were all staying at his house at one point that he knew of. And Sophie was sure to have business men over. He was just lucky all he had to worry about was showing up for practice. Politics, especially work relationships, were not his cup of tea.

Except for the fact that they weren't graded on cooking by Professor Dragonlady Lafay. Perhaps that was why he found cooking so much more enjoyable.... But anyway, Selina and Potions were a disastrous yet completely hilarious couple that never left the older boy unamused. He wasn't terrible at Potions, he usually received pretty good marks in that class, but he certainly was no potions whiz like some other kids in the class. So he really had no room to comment about Selina's potion-making skills, despite his temptation to.

At the mention of Violet, Christopher's eyes lit up a bit, though he kind of hoped that Selina, who was busy with her cleaning, hadn't seen. "Oh, yeah! I think she told me that she played now! Or was that you.....?" he asked, unable to recall, and trying to change the subject as well. "Well, can do! Is Lek coming today too?" he wondered aloud. He liked Elektra. She was very spunky.

At the remark about her pajamas, Christopher waved a hand and rolled his eyes. "Oh, please. Do you really think I care about how you look at 9:30 in the morning? And hey, El's in her PJ's too, so you guys can have a late morning pajama party or whatever. I'm just a little weirdo early bird," he said with a laugh.
Selina caught a glimpse of a glimmer in Christopher's eyes at the mention of Violet. She had to resist the urge to roll her eyes. Everyone was so starry eyed at the mention of their significant other at Hogwarts that it kind of made Selina slightly glad that she did not have to worry about the whole relationship thing. True, she had a crush on Simon but he saw her as a little sister so there was nothing going on there. And besides him Selina was hard to impress when it came to boys, most likely being that she was usually one of the boys on the Pitch.

So when Christopher and Violet were together it was weird for Selina in a way because she did not do the whole relationship thing. It worked for the two of them though, they actually liked each other which was nice because in most cases at Hogwarts people dated just to have a boyfriend. That was why dating started so young at Hogwarts, people wanted the accolades, but not Chris and Violet. They were that odd couple that really cared about one another and fought and knew each other's interests.

"Yeah, yeah... your girlfriend is coming by the house. We all know lover boy, but she is my friend so let's keep that in mind, shall we?"

Then she turned to Elyon and said, "What do you say Elyon? Wanna help me on the Pitch in our pajamas as your brilliant brother suggested?"

Then she turned to Elyon and said, "What do you say Elyon? Wanna help me on the Pitch in our pajamas as your brilliant brother suggested?"
A blush took up on his face and he raised his eyebrows. "Loverboy?" He found this title incredibly amusing. Not because it didn't apply to him- because it did- but because all he could think of the 1980's hairband that his Muggle pastor loved so dearly. He'd never heard that phrase outside of the musical references, and it was a little weird to hear it outside of the crazy church's strange analogies. "I know, I know. You're her best friend and if I hurt her you'll kill me. I believe we've already had this chat on several occasions."

Elyon perked up at the sound of her name, snapping out of her daydream. When she finally put the pieces together and figured out what was going on, she nodded vigorously. "Oh, I'd love to. But I've never set up a Quidditch pitch. What is it like?" she asked dreamily, sounding a lot like her old self again. But there was still a big piece missing. And it would take a long time for that piece to reform and heal.

When Chris went off relaying that Selina would kill him if he hurt Violet she shook her head no, "No not that. Well, that is true, but that was not was I was talking about. I was saying that she is my friend too so you better share when she is over today. But yeah the thing you said is some pretty sound advice as well. So you should also keep that in mind." Wow, that was not even what Selina was getting at with Chris, but if that was what kept him in check then so be it. Someone had to keep him in check when it came to Violet, her biggest fault was that she trusted people too much.

The turning back to Elyon she said, "Naw, it's pretty easy. I mean we already have the Pitch set up at all times. All we have to do is just get out all of the brooms and stuff. Then after that I need to hang up a few flags for Violet to follow. When you first really start playing you need an aim in the posts. So I'm going to have her shoot for these flags."

"Oh. Yeah, that too," the lion added with a chuckle. He was quite used to the other talks about Vi with Selina. The overprotective best friend kind of talk. Not that he needed it- he would even dream of hurting Violet, and the rare occasions he did, it was during little fights that were never really important. He was very aware of how sheltered Violet was- especially after the news about her house... city.... thing. He wasn't really sure what to call it. But it was big and she was sheltered and he was careful with her at all times. And that was all that mattered.

Elyon bobbed her head up and down, nodding. However, the nod began to slow as Selina went on and it eventually turned into a tilted head and a questioning look. "Err.... No.... I don't get it. Oh well! If you tell me where things go, then we can make a game out of it!" she said excitedly, clapping her hands. The little lioness darted out the door in her jammies and blue hoodie, skipping down toward the Pitch.

Selina laughed at how Chris completely took her comment differently than she intended. Sometimes things were funny like that. Usually when Selina talked she gave a double meaning without even meaning to, but, alas, that was just the way things were with Selina. She was so wise! At the thought Selina had to snort. It was just that ridiculous. Seriously, it sounded so pompous. "Yeah that too... I'll be watching you brother."

Then she shifted her attention back to Elyon, "A game? I'm game if you are, come on Elyon!" But before she could do anything Elyon was out of the door running toward the Pitch.

Christopher chuckled at her remark, but on the inside was a little nervous. He knew it was just good ol' Sel, but still, she could be quite intimidating for her small size. As Elyon darted out towards the Pitch, leaving behind a confused ginger, he shrugged. "Do I have to sit in here by myself while we wait for Violet? Or can I join you two?" he asked with a smirk, eyeing the back door which Elyon had left ajar. He honestly didn't want to be in a house that was not his alone, especially one of this size where everything looked so fancy and above his wealth status. Plus he didn't want to have to face Violet's parents alone.

Selina turned around from chasing Elyon and looked at Chris. She shrugged at his question and replied simply, "I don't know. Can you?" Then she smirked at him and took off behind Elyon like a bat out of hell. She knew that if she ran fast enough she could catch up to the blonde even though she was far ahead of Selina. It was just that, well, Selina liked to compete.

At Selina's vague and rather clever comeback, Christopher sighed, watching her dart off. Meh, he wasn't one to compete with someone as crazy as Selina Skylar, so he just sat at down and began reading a random book on the counter. He might as well have something to do while he waited for Vi, and what better was there to do than read? That's right. Nothing.

A New Summer

Sophie slithered into her living room and plopped down on the couch simply exhausted. The picket line at the Ministry was getting a tad out-of-hand. They needed to get that insufferable Borr out of office, but there was a point where some of her co-workers were taking things to the extremes. Violence was always the last resort. She knew that more than anyone being that she was an Auror for many years before she moved to Australia. It was never something she liked doing so why others were so enthralled to resort to violence baffled her. It was none of her business though, she was just going to relax on her couch and wait for her daughter to get home along with Christopher and Elyon.

Jake had been very specific this year about wanting to pick Selina up from the station. She had a strong feeling it had something to do with Selina's boyfriend, which she knew he had nothing to fret about. She was fourteen years old. The worst thing that Selina could do at this point was awkwardly kiss a boy. And knowing her daughter... it was awkward indeed. Besides, from the letters Gideon seemed nice enough.

It was not her problem though. Jake was a big boy and could handle this situation. She was just going to put her feet up, relax and wait for summer to begin because Merlin knew she needed a summer vacation.

.....................

There was a pop. Selina and Christopher and Elyon and Jake all apparated onto the plot of land called Whitley Hall. Selina's hand flew to her glasses to make sure that she had not lost them on her way in the middle of infinite space. Or something to the affect of that.

She finally got her wits about her she got a good look at Whitley Hall. Merlin she had missed this place, but she did love Hogwarts. This summer was going to be weird.

She turned around and looked at her family, well her father and her two friends, and said, "Alright you lot, stop standing around. Come on... let's get inside and see Mum."

Heaving his and his actual younger sister's trunks over his bony shoulders, Christopher was glad to be back here. It was technically his new home, even though Hogwarts would be the only true place he could call home. It was so weird to think it was summer again already. Where did the time ago?

He rolled his eyes at his bossy best friend, a smile etched on his face. Glancing back at Mr. Skylar, he wondered how he dealt with her bossing him around like that all of the time. He was the adult, not her! But then again, he put up with it year round, and he figured it wasn't about to change anytime soon. But who would Selina be if she wasn't trying to take control of everything? Not the girl he knew.

"Oh hush, we're coming," he teased, following her through the open door. He set the heavy bags and owl cage on the ground, and turned around to greet his new maternal figure for the next three months. "Hello, Mrs. Skylar. It's nice to see you... How was Australia?" She worked in Australia, right? He could've sworn that was right, anyway.

She worked in Australia, right? He could've sworn that was right, anyway.

Selina rolled her eyes at Christopher as they entered the kitchen. Her mother was standing behind the counter making dinner for what seemed like the entire Gryffindor Quidditch Team and the older woman was smiling at the children who had just walked in the door. Selina walked over to her mother and kissed her cheek, "Hey Mum. It's good to see you."

As she walked away from her mother she grabbed a sticky pun and started to munch away on it. Oh she missed her mother's cooking.

Sophie accepted the kiss from her daughter and returned to her cooking. When she looked up at the other three who had just entered the kitchen she smiled at them all and said, "Hello everyone. And sweetheart, I don't work in Australia. I'm the Ambassador for Australia for the Minister of Magic. But work is good. How was your term?"

Then Sophie caught Selina in the corner of her eye munching away. She slapped her daughter lightly in the left shoulder and said, "Not yet. Wait for dinner you!"

Selina was suddenly slapped in her left shoulder where the mysterious purple tattoo of DS sat. Every since her encounter with her future self in a vision she had had this tattoo that very few people knew about. Whenever she touched it, it seemed to trigger a vision. By her mother's slap she was sent into the depths of a vision. But she could not blame her mother... her parents did not even know she was a Seer.

SPOILER!!: The Vision

“Elektra, wait!” Zak said running down the street after his sister. The flickering street lights of an unfamiliar street added to the entire sudden jolt of the scene and the curious nature. From all that was visible it seemed that Elektra Draven was crying and her brother, Zak, was running after her in his best attempt to slow her down.

When he finally caught up with her he put his hand on her shoulder and spun her around to look at him. She turned her face away from him and shoved at his chets, “Get off me. I’m fine Zak. Just leave me alone.”

Zak held fast to her arms and demanded, “No… you aren’t alright. What happened?”

Her green eyes flickered up to his and in a rage she pulled her arm out of his reach. She brushed off her jacket and tossed her hair out of her eyes. When her eyes finally focused on his it was the type of stare that reduced grown men to child’s play. A growl escaped her lips and she retorted, “What the hell do you want me to say, Zak? Huh? Tell me. I’m very curious. Do you want me to say that I was an idiot? That I thought maybe by going out with some random Russian guy that it would make me forget about him? Forget about what I saw that day when I went back to see them? Remember the betrayal?

“Everyday when I think about what I’m doing here with you, what we are trying to achieve, I can’t help remember my life before you. My life before you. I was blissfully ignorant and you stole that away from me. Do you know how different my life could have been if I stayed Zak? I might have been able to change everything that happened to me. I might have gotten to him before she was awakened to how wonderful he is and probably will always be. But that bloody ginger won out. She always seems to win out.

“So I thought going out with Ivan tonight might change something… make me feel something for someone else besides him. I want to feel something else for someone else besides him. I’m sick of hanging onto this… this hurt. Everything! And you are the reason why I didn’t stay. You are the reason my whole world had to change. You are the reason I don’t understand anymore where my place is in this confusing world. You did that to me.”

Once she was done she crumpled up and sat on the ground. Her arms wrapped around her knees and she pulled them into her chest, “You can’t know what it is like to be tormented by the prospect of what could have been, Zak.”

Zak wrapped his arm around his sister and whispered in her ear, “Lek, I am so sorry. I never meant to take you away from your life. But we both need answers and that boy back at school? He’s dumb for not noticing how wonderful you are and missing out on the chance to be with you. Besides, I think your friend, from what you’ve told me and what I know about her when I met her, is a silly little ginger with her sense of entitlement way up in the clouds. That girl is going to get a rude awakening one day because she has never experienced any heartache. Her life is too perfect.”

Elektra wiped her nose and nudged her brother, “Shut up, you great oaf. I’m trying to be mad at you.”

He laughed and hugged her, “Yeah, well, you can’t exactly do that right now can you? I’m too charming for my own good.”

“Shove off,” she laughed.

He reached out his hand to help her out and she took it. The two of them laughed lightly for a moment and then grabbed each other tightly. “I love you, sis,” Zak muttered.

“I love you too Zak… sorry for everything I said. How’s your ego?”

“Bruised, but it will heal.”

She laughed again and punched him in the shoulder, “Oh stop being such a lady and man up. Come on, let’s head back to the hotel.”

Suddenly a gust of wind knocked Elektra off of her feet along with Zak in the process. There was a breath of harsh wind and then the sound of scratching at the window it seemed. When the two siblings finally opened their eyes they saw two cloaked figures lurking in the shadows. They walked forward very slowly and drew something from their inner pockets. After a second of staring Elektra saw the figures were drawing their wands.

She looked at Zak and screamed, “DARK WIZARDS! RUN!”

The two people and the two siblings went on a chase. The lights of the street flickered on the pavement and every move that was made by the two siblings was shadowed by their darker counterparts. Then finally one of them yelled out, “Draven! FACE ME YOU SPINELESS CHILD!”

Zak seemed to stop in his tracks and clench his fists. Elektra stopped and looked at him, “Zak we have to go.”

“No!” he growled, “No more running Elektra. I’m tired of running. I’m tired of pretending. I am tired of this whole charade. They want me… they want us… they can have us.” He turned around to them and yelled, “Come at me you worthless slime!”

Those were the words that broke the flood gates to all anarchy. Without a moment’s hesitation there were curses flying all over the place and Elektra and Zak were fighting back to the best of their ability. It was not enough. The other wizards were older, stronger and faster.

Then Zak was unarmed and he threw his hands up in the air to show some kind of surrender. The dark wizard circled him and Zak spat, “Come on you spineless man, just do it. Isn’t that what my father wants anyway and you both are his little minions aren’t you? Just do it!” Zak yelled. If he was going to die he wanted to do it with his wits about him.

The dark wizard laughed and threw a crucio in his direction. Elektra screamed and jumped infront of her brother. Her entire side was shocked and filled with the agonizing pain of the curse. It seemed to pulse through her blood, fill every vein, tingle in the depths of her stomach. Selina could tell because Elektra was thrashing about on the ground with such fervor that it was frightening. She wanted to scream out for her friend, but nothing came. She could only watch in the torment of a vision.

Elektra fell to the floor with a thud and Zak screamed out for her. As the vision started to fade she heard another voice start to dispel out curses… she never saw who it was.

She had returned to the land of the living.

Selina was so shaken up by her vision she could not even move.

Sophie looked worriedly at Selina. She had not moved or responded to her for at least five minutes. What was happening to her daughter? "Selina?" she asked softly.

Selina was so shaken up by her vision she could not even move.

Sophie looked worriedly at Selina. She had not moved or responded to her for at least five minutes. What was happening to her daughter? "Selina?" she asked softly.

"Oh... erm... right..." he said with a nod to Sophie. Not much of a difference in his head, but oh well. He began to make his way with his trunks back towards his own cottage while she waited for dinner, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw it happen.

It was as if it were happening in slow motion.

The second the Ministry woman so much as touched Selina's left shoulder, Christopher knew what was happening to the fourteen year old. Another vision. But these weren't ordinary visions that her tattoo brough. Oh no. They became real, they began to happen right then and there. And by the look on Selina's face, this was really serious.

Dropping his things where they were, Christopher rushed over to Selina and caught her by the shoulders just as she began to fall backwards, like she normally did. The whole sight was incredibly frightening for the lion, but he had seen this before, once. The same thing had even happened. Except for one little detail.

Mr. and Mrs. Skylar didn't even know.

So as he supported her limp frame there in the kitchen, with Sophie staring, horrified, he was beginning to feel super awkward. How the heck did someone explain something like this!? Eyes wide in shock, he managed to mumble to Mrs. Skylar, "Umm..... Selina felt a little tired on the train, and she'll probably need some rest now. My kitchen should have enough chocolate to make her feel better..... I'll... erm... let her rest over there, if that's fine with you."

He knew that the mother of the girl who had passed out would definitely be worried, and his quick response would go against all of her maternal instincts, but what was he supposed to say!? "Sorry, but your daughter is a Seer and you've just sent her into a vision that makes her collapse. So how was your summer?" For some reason, he didn't think that would exactly cut it.

When Selina finally opened her eyes she felt that someone was holding her up. She finally refocused into the room and looked up. There, holding her tightly and looking very awkward, was Christopher. What had she missed and what had she done? She had NEVER had a vision in front of her parents before. What were they going to think? She had to get out of there, but she was still to weary from the vision to run besides she had to play it off somewhat collected. It seemed that was the way Christopher was attempting to play it off. It was just an awkward situation.

Selina looked worriedly between her parents, poor Elyon who looked very concerned and upset and Christopher who was trying his hardest to stay level headed in this situation. Merlin bless that boy because she was sure her current face was not helping. She pulled herself out of Chris' grasp and used him as support, "Right.... erm.. yeah. What he said. I'm going to go there now."

She looked at Chris and gave him eyes to take them out of there...now.

Sophie nodded very confused and upset, "Okay... but please come back for dinner. And Selina... don't lie to me. If something was wrong you would tell me?"

Selina bit down on her lip and lied, "Of course.. come on Chris."

Christopher bit down on his lip quite hard as Selina began to shake herself from her weak state. How could he have let this happen!? He should've stopped Mrs. Skylar, but alas, it was too late now. What was done was done. So there before a worried mother and sister, the pair stood trying to come up with an escape plan as calmly as possible. And they were doing a pretty okay job in his opinion.

But one look from Selina told him that they weren't, and they needed to get back to his tiny home by the Quidditch Pitch. And fast.

Still allowing her to lean on him for a bit of support, he turned to his frail, tiny sister, whom he hadn't heard speak in the longest time. She broke his heart with her silence. Stroking her hair, he assured her lightly, "Hey... Sely's going to be okay... but why don't you stay here with Mrs. Skylar in the kitchen for a bit? That way there will be less noise for Sely's head to hurt... Can you do that for me?" It was as if he spoke to a young child, but Elyon's mind seemed to be lost in that state for so long. If he weren't so determined to get Selina out of there, he may have just held her for hours. Where was she? Lost in the clouds forever? He prayed not.

Once she finally gave him a small, slow nod, he pecked her on the cheek, and wheeled Selina out of there, paying no attention to the bags that needed to be unpacked. They could deal with those later.

-------

After he'd nearly half carried her down to the old broom shed he lived in, Christopher set her down on Elyon's twin bed across from him, and locked the door. He didn't need anyone hearing this conversation that was sure to take place.

"Merlin, Selina! Are you alright?!" He darted to his tiny kitchen, grabbed some chocolate, and came back, tossing it on her lap. "What happened back there?" he asked, though he didn't have to. He clearly knew what had happened.

"....What did you see?"

Selina walked into Christopher's little cottage with her face still pale and cold from her encounter with the specific vision she had just had. Watching that was one of the harder things she had to bare witness to. What was going on? Where was Elektra and how could she saw those terrible things about Selina? All she had ever done was be a good friend to Elektra. Now she knew for sure, though, that Elektra had been in the Leaky Cauldron that day. Gideon was right... they had seen her. And she was bitter about Selina and Gideon's relationship. What had she done? She never meant to hurt Elektra. Gideon just sort of happened.

She then settled herself into the couch and looked out into dead space. What in Merlin's name had she seen? She knew in essence what was going on, but everything was such a blur. Who was Ivan, what was Zak going on about with the cloaked figure and most of all... what had happened to Elektra! SHE HATED HER VISIONS! There were just somethings she wished she could have never have seen. This was one of those things.

Then she looked up at Chris with hallow eyes and muttered one word. One singular solitary word, "Elektra."

As he sat across cross legged on the couch across from Selina, he leaned in, listening intently to each word she had to say.

However, this time, there was only one.

Elektra.

The word rang out in his head, and the colour slowly began to drain from his face. It'd been so long since they'd heard from the fiesty Slytherin girl, and everyone was really worried about her. No one knew where she was, how she was, who she was with, what she was doing, none of it. All they knew was that she was gone. And the tone of the redhead's voice made the boy know fairly easily that this vision was not a good one.

As he tried to process it all, he scrunched his face up, looking like a small child trying to remember something they couldn't. After a long pause, he finally continued, "What about her? Selina, you're starting to scare me...." He wasn't sure he could bear the thought of Elektra in trouble. He'd lost too many people. This was growing to be too much.

"Tell me everything. Step by step. We have to know.... maybe if we do, we can find a way to help her." He only prayed that they could.

Selina's eyes finally looked up at Christopher and she said, "You don't know what you are talking about. I can't help her. I don't even know where she is! My power isn't some kind of honing device." She threw her head in her hands and ran her fingers through her hair. This was not good. She hated her ability. She knew that Elektra was hurt maybe even dead and she knew that her friend was hurt. That her friend was very hurt. There was nothing she could even do about it.

Finally she calmed herself down enough to give Christopher some information. She knew that he was probably very concerned and very upset. But she needed a moment. She was a human being, she could not always be pressed for information like some kind of future machine. She was not the tardis.

"Okay you may want to sit down for this... its not exactly a happy vision to retell. Besides I'm to weak to stand up anyway. It took a lot out of me."

Christopher opened his mouth to protest, but immediately shut it. There was no use in trying to argue with Selina Arden Skylar. She tended to be right about one hundred percent of the time- but maybe that was just how he saw it. Eventually gaining the nerve and idiocy to try to contradict her, he said timidly, "I know you're not a honing device Sel... It's just... We have to do something....." Of course he knew that it wasn't possible, and that her visions didn't work that way, but it was Elektra they were talking about! It was their friend! How could they just sit by and abandon the attempt to help when she could very well be dead for all he knew! It wasn't right.

However, the situation was becoming more and more serious, which made him more and more worried. He nodded solemnly, sitting down Indian style as she had commanded him to. Normally he would at least attempt to fight her orders, but this was not an everyday occurance. He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself down as Selina was doing herself. "All right, I'm ready..." he said, though he was not convincing anyone. He was incredibly nervous about what he was going to hear in a moment or so.

Oh, Merlin he hoped Elektra was okay.

Selina nodded at Christopher, honestly she was too tired to refute him. As of late he had been super argumentative and she was just getting worn down by his whole outlook on the world as of late. The sooner he got back with Violet the better, Violet seemed to calm him down enough to keep his opinions and loud mouth somewhat at bay. Then again she knew she was being too positive. The current climate of Christopher and Violet was not only poor but they could barely speak to one another. If the train had proved anything it proved that Selina was terrible in awkward situations. The hope that the two of them would get back together was starting to wear on her and neither of them realized that she was the person in the middle of both of their post-break-up moods. It was exhausting.

So she just ignored his comment and moved on from what he had said. Once he was seated and situated she said, "Alright, so here is what happened. Elektra and Zak, her brother, were on some street and she was fighting with him about something," Selina felt awkward admitting that her and Zak were fighting about Selina and Gideon's relationship and how Elektra really liked Gideon. That was not something that Gideon's girlfriend liked listening to. She was not a jealous person per say, but hearing Elektra say it made her really upset. She thought her and Elektra were better friends than that, "And then all of the sudden two figures came out of the darkness. There were wands drawn and people were getting hurt and Elektra took a crucio to the side... after that? Well... I don't know. I lost the vision. She was not moving though and I have NO IDEA where she is!"

She was not moving though and I have NO IDEA where she is!"
Christopher listened intently, hoping to get in every little detail possible. He hated the thought of Elektra being off on her own with her brother like that. He trusted that she was strong willed, but he wasn't sure how well two fourteen year old kids were going to manage on their own out there. Especially since they had a desperate purpose that was unknown to everyone else. It seemed way to dangerous for his comfort. It made him even worse off that he couldn't do anything about it. He couldn't go out and help them, he couldn't even contact them! The worry of Elektra adding onto his pile of stressers was seriously unhealthy.

"Fighting? I wonder why... maybe if we knew we might even know why she just got up and left school for this... this... whatever it is they're doing." Hopefully they weren't going at each other's nerves too often, Elektra and her mysterious brother, but if they were, it could only the make the situation go from bad to worse.

And then what Selina said next definitely got a reaction from him. "WHAT!?" he practically yelled, his hands now trembling. "No! She couldn't have been! How could they have been attacked!? Why would they have been attacked!? Where is she now?! Is she okay!? What if they kill her Selina!?" He wasn't asking these questions to Selina, but more himself. Christopher was now shaking all over, looking pale as a ghost. He thought he might vomit. Uh oh.

After muttering, "Oh my God," Christopher darted to the nearest restroom and promtly got sick into the toilet. It wasn't that he had a weak stomach, no. He'd lost so many people, he just didn't think he could handle another loved one gone. And clearly, his stomach proved he couldn't.

She shook her head vigorously when he inquired about what they were fighting about. Selina could put the pieces together from what she had heard about why Elektra was resentful about leaving Hogwarts, namely because she had lost the opportunity to act on her feelings toward Gideon, feelings Selina did not know about. However, why the girl had left? Well, that was something Selina did not know. She hoped it was not because of herself, but she could not be sure. Something in her gut told her that Elektra left for a plethora of reasons; Selina was not why she had fled. Maybe though, just maybe, she had been the reason why Elektra had stayed away.

There was so much going on in her head that she found she could only respond to Christopher's inquiry with a simple answer, "I don't know why she left, honestly. I just wished she had not gone. Things would have been so different if she stayed," she and Gideon may have never have even started and maybe Christopher and Violet would still be together. It would never be known though.

Then Christopher freaked out. His freak out was an understatement. She wanted to calm him down but then he went and threw up... seriously? He had thrown up? Was he really that upset about this whole endeavour. She did not even know he and Elektra were that close. Selina herself was close to tears, in fact her eyes were wet, but throwing up. Christopher was a lot more fragile than she had anticipated.

Although she was still weak from her vision, she stood up and walked over to where Christopher was in his bathroom. She leaned against the door frame for support and said, "Hey... you okay?"

Christopher managed to pull himself up, gripping onto the counter as he thoroughly washed his face, then hands. Merlin, he hadn't anticipated that. But he was in shock. At least Selina had seen some of what went on. She pratically told him nothing, except for that Elektra had been attacked and was probably dead. He wanted to scream, and throw something and just kick something, but he kept his mouth firmly shut, his hands still shaking, his eyes full of fear. He'd heard the saying 'life's not fair' ever since he was a child, but this was beyond unfair. This was a cruel joke. He seemed to be losing everyone lately.

He leaned against the cabinet and shook his head yes. "I... I'm fine... just shocked... A little put off from the train too." Of course that wasn't entirely all that true, but it wasn't really lying, so he didn't say anything else. But then he realized how weak the two of them were. One fainting from visions, one getting sick out of shock. It was weird, but there they were. He walked back to the couch opposite of Selina and ran his hand through his hair. It was a lot to take in.

"What are we going to do, Sel?"

She watched in silence as Christopher cleaned himself up from the mess he had made hanging over the toilet. There was nothing she could really say to him. He said that he was fine and she would just have to take his lie with a grain of salt. They both knew that the other was not fine. There was too much going on in both of their heads for either of them to be fine. Worry was engulfing both of them at the current moment.

When he finally settled into his seat she strained herself to sit and rubbed his back, "I don't know.... I don't know..."

Christopher sighed. The two were stuck. Neither were alright, which was quite obvious. They were both weak from their shock and worry, and their emotional states were incredibly shaky. Neither Gryffindor knew what to do. They weren't even sure if they could do anything to help the situation at all! In their own eyes, at least, they were completely helpless.

When Selina sat down next to him, he gave her a weak smile. He wrapped his arm around his sister's shoulders, giving her a little side hug as he was deep in thought. He tried to calculate every single possible way to help, but nothing worth even a half a knut came to his mind. Everything would either fail, or would be impossible. Unless they had a two way mirror or an enchanted coin or the world's longest Extendable Ear, he didn't think anything would work. "Do you think... maybe we could try writing her a letter? Or sending her a two way mirror or enchanted coin, or something?" he asked, sounding like a desperate child. It may not work, but they could at least try, couldn't they? "We could just tell your owl to take it to her, and it could do that, couldn't it? I mean, we could've tried Baltimore, but he doesn't exactly always get his letters to their destination..." he said, thinking back on two summers ago, when he and Violet never got each other's letters. Though the reason for that was more likely due to a certain Durmstrang Skylar, rather than a clumsy owl.

Selina shook her head at Chris as he went on and on with hopeless ideas. The pair of them both knew that they were dead in the water with the means of contacting Elektra. Now they would just have to wait and hope she was okay... hopefully she would be. She rested her head in the nook of her brother's shoulder and sighed, "Now we wait..."

Two Weeks Later

Selina walked outside and adjusted her sunglasses as she looked up into the sky. Today was the day that Violet was arriving at Whitley Hall. She was beyond thrilled to see her friend and although she knew she would eventually have to tell her about the Elektra vision right now she was just glad to be spending time with Violet without the pressures of school laboring them down.

Of course, there was one member of Whitley Hall who did not know that Violet Le Veela was coming to spend some time at Whitley this summer. Perhaps she should have told Christopher Violet was coming but, well, honestly she did not want to deal with him getting all upset at her...
