Her wonderful friends:


Minerva shivered at the sound of the word dance. "Oh thanks, but lets not talk about dance." Minerva turned and looked down at the floor she struggled to make eye contact with her friends. She whispered "If it wasn't for me you would still be with Ronnie. I should have just stopped being your friend a long time ago." The block she had put up to her emotions all summer was still working, because it didn't even hurt her to say these words. Minerva looked at Justin crazy? "I'm crazy, why do you say that?" Minerva heard Ame say she liked her blonde hair "Thanks, it served it's purIpose." she didn't know how she felt about her hair color she really didn't care. "Ame I will take some tea, but no food. I'm not hungry." Truthfully she hadn't really been eating much at all while gone. She had lost weight to her already skinny frame. She played with her bear not wanting to look at any of her friends she was just ashamed of everything that happened.


Victoria waited until they were not in earshot anymore and then she took a deep breath. Her emotions finally getting the best of her tears started falling. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to cry. It's just been such a worry and I'm just so happy she is safe. Vinnie, Minerva keeps saying she does not want to go back to Hogwarts and if that is her wish then I will be taking her back to Germany with me. I have a flight in an hour to get back to my son. I am so worried about Minerva I don't trust her story. I think she needs me, but I think she needs her friends right now just as much. If she would decide to go back to school would it be possible she stay here so that I know she is safe and being watched? I will come back as soon as I can to check on her." Victoria felt like a horrible mother to leave the same day her daughter was found, but if she didn't there would be no one to watch Jacob.

Harvey smiled and took his cup "Thanks alot Ame.." he said .. he then sipped the tea "Wow! Ame this is good stuff! Thanks!" he said as he sipped his tea some more..
He turned to Minnie who had whispered to him "You dont know that.. maybe she would have broken up with me anyways.. so it is not your fault" he said trying to reassure her that he believed it was not her but him who was responsible for Ronnie breaking up with him.

Ame smiled and poured Minerva a cup. She glad to see her friend here. She placed a cube in and stirred. After stirting, she handed Minerva the cup. She sniffed the air. Hmm.. She shruged it off and looked at Min. "What are friends for?"

Minerva mustered up a smile for Ame. "You are a great friend, you know that right?" She always felt Ame was the friend that never got the recognition she deserved.

" I sure can." he answered as he got up and went into the kitchen to get the cakes and cream.
" Of course she can stay here. The kids will have alot of fun. And maybe they'll be able to talk her into returning next year to Hogwarts.And feel free to visit as often as you like." .Vinnie smiled

Harvey smiled "I agree Minnie.. that is why we are now 4 amigos..." he said smiling.. he then looked at Mins "Mins are you ok?" he asked.. she seemed ........ different but he couldnt put his finger on it..

Victoria tried to compose herself before going back out to the living room. "Thank you for all your help. Minerva really does have wonderful friends." Victoria went back out to the children. "Minnie we need to talk for a second. It is up to you, but I have to go back to Germany. Jacob doesn't have anyone to watch him if I do not go. If you are very serious of not going back to Hogwarts then you can come with me, but I think you need Hogwarts and your friends. Justin's mom has offered for you to stay here the rest of the summer. Would you like to do that?"

Minerva looked at her friends and then back to her mom. "I want to go back with you. My life isn't Hogwarts it's with you in the muggle world." but then she thought of something would she be safe in the muggle world.

Harvey looked at Minnie in shock "Mins are you serious about not coming back? but we are the 4 amigos.. I dont want it to become the 3 amigos.." he said almost begging her to come back..

Jusitn over heard what Minnie had said. " Min, you gotta come back."

Victoria put her arms around her daughter and gave her best smile. "Tell you what honey. Why don't I go back to Germany and you stay here for a bit. See how you feel in a few weeks. If you want to come home then come home if not then go to school." She looked at Vinnie for some help in persuading her daughter.

" your welcom, Ame." said Justin as he reentered the room with everything Amethyst had asked him to retrieve.
" You know , Minerva. We've got a large estate with plenty of gardens and a stable if you like to ride. I think you'll like it here. it'd be a nice break. " vinnie smiled lovingly at the poor exhausted girl in front of her.

Harvey looked between the two moms..he hoped one of them could persude Mins to stay.. he didnt want her to leave.. but he didnt know how to make her stay either..

Minerva looked at all of them. She was exhausted from running she was tired of the late evening and long days. A nice bed sounded great. She wasn't going to fight them. Without looking at any of them even her mother she just answered." Fine I will stay here for a few weeks, but then I am coming home."

Victoria studied her daughter this was not her daughter what happened while she had been missing. "Ok then I'm glad you are at least going to try." She hugged her daughter and whispered "Please try to have fun they missed you." At that she kissed her daughter and turned to leave. "Thank you again for all the help, but I really must go my plane is waiting. "Minerva, he is your wand I have kept it in my purse." She pulled out a wand "oh not that one sorry that's mine here it is." She handed Minerva her wand. "The rest of your things will be here soon." She turned and gave a last smile then walked out the door.

Harvey beamed she had agreed to stay.. he hoped that in the next few weeks he could persuade her to stay.. but if he couldnt then it would be hard to say goodbye.. he wouldnt be able to do it..

" Have a safe trip, Victoria. I'll call if we need to. " said vinnie.

Minerva watched as her mom left and she began to cry. She had so much fear in her. She was so scared for everyone's safety right now. She knew she was safer in the wizard world then the muggle world, but her mom was headed back to the muggle world. She had nothing to say to anyone so she just sat hugging her bear and crying.

Harvey felt hurt that she was crying and even though he knew it was wrong he put his arm around her and let her cry.. he wanted to reassure her that he and the other two were with her all the way.. she was not alone.. he was sad to see her cry as he wanted her to be happy.

"I've got this one.." Amethyst looked at her friend. She scooped Minerva up in her arms and carried her to Ame's room. She spoke softly to everyone before dissappearing. "If you are hungry, I'm making dinner soon.." She then faded up the staircase. Ame was bit strong for her age. Opening the door to her room, she walked into the sky-like room. "Welcome to your new room." She placed Minnie on the bed across from hers. Ame's room was huge and very Victorian.

Minerva felt Ame pick her up. It shocked her how could she pick me up so easy. She just let it happen though to exhausted to fight. Once on the bed she grabbed the pillow still crying. She glanced around the room "This is nice Ame"

"Thanks..." Ame tucked Minerva into bed. She hated to see her like this. Perhaps tomorrow would improve. Amethyst lifted Minnie's chin lightly. She took a tissue and wiped Minerva's eyes. She smiled. "No pretty girl should cry, you know." Ame dimmed the lights, not turning them off completely. "If you ever feel alone.. or just need to just let out feelings... I'm almost always at the stable or the field or lake near by."

Minerva took Ame's hand "Your the pretty one you know." She tried to smile, but it was hard. She did feel alone in the world. She was hurt and broken. "Thanks for being such a great friend Ame. Your room is really nice and for what it's worth there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't think of you three. I ended up here one day. Came clear to the door before I turn and ran."

"It's my specialty." She listened to what Minnie had told her. She gasped. "I knew it!" She giggled. She sniffed the air. A very faint, yet familiar smell filled the air. About 100,000 miles out, she thought. Ame kissed Minerva on the head. "Glad we can say the same." Her tail swayed back and forth--a wolf tail. "Sleepy yet?" The stars in the enchanted sky twinkled lightly.

"I am exhausted. Don't tell anyone, but I have been staying in different places every night for the last few weeks. Never staying in one place. It's nice to be in a real bed." Minerva took the tail between her fingers," your a cute puppy Ame"

"I promise. Tail Wag Promise." And with that, her tail spelled out promise in the air. She was glad Minnie was comfortable. "Water's in the fridge right here." She pointed to the mini fridge attached to her noghtstand. "And...thanks.." She blushed. "Sweet dreans, Minerva Wheatborn."
