When a Hogwarts students realises that they enjoyed school so much that they want to spend their life there, they study to become a professor. To the students, the professors seem dull, depressing and merely clever robots designed to teach by day, and pretty much not exist outside of class hours.
But they're wrong.
Hogwarts has ten core professors, all completely different. All trapped in a school full of amateur witches and wizards for nine months at a time, each professor is different, and has a different story to share.
There's a lot more to being a professor than meets the eye.

Robert was raised by a muggle family in North London, who were not aware of having magical blood. When he first showed signs of being a wizard, his parents were frightened and checked him into a Juvenile Asylum for a couple of months.
Fortunately, a passing doctor there happened to be a wizard, and recognised Robert's signs as those of a young fellow wizard. Relieved, his parents took him out of the asylum and sent him to Hogwarts when he was eleven.
However, since his five months in 'the mad house', Robert wasn't just a little abnormal. He had become a lot more hyper and, indeed, sarcastic. He never really grew out of it, but he did achieve marvellous results in all of his exams, and returned to Hogwarts as a History of Magic teacher.
Still renowned for his eccentricity, 'Mad Merthin' is still popular with his students and a gifted wizard.
~~~ Purlease Read Now I know that I cut down the subjects, but I want to keep the rp uncluttered. Also, one character each and you can teach up to two subjects. There are no characters other than the professors but if you want, you can breiefly rp a student if you want to Whoever posts the bio first for a character gets it.

Chaz shook his head. "I heard, but for as much as Duncan knows, he might just be missing the mark a bit. I watch a lot and today, I have at least twice seen her try to talk to him, and I don't think Duncan even noticed her." Chaz turned to her. "Lumi, will you go on a date with me this evening?" He kind of blushed a little but looked her dead in the eyes. His heart was racing, he was quite sure it could be heard pounding. He bit his lower lip.

Lumi had continued eating while she waited for Chaz to answer her question. "Your right, at the very least he could have acknowledged her presence. Like a certain somebody always did for her, not mentioning any names but it was Chaz... Lumi almost chocked on her water when Chaz asked her out. A smile came onto her face and she said "Of course, I would love too!" She noticed his blush but how he still stared her straight in the eye, that was something to add to the things she loved/liked about him.
