Carolyn never really knew her father growing up, and it was never easy on her. Her mother and her quickly became outcasts wherever they went. So much so that muttterings about them were nothing she hadn't dealt with before. She grew up independent and she grew up quickly. She always knew that she had to work hard for whatever she needed, and she did.

Upon entering Beauxbatons, she was never a slacker. On the contrary, she quickly shot up to top student in multiple subjects. Especially Astronomy. Over the years, she attracted many admirers and gained the respect of her peers due to her determination. Earning herself the titles of Prefect and Head Girl, Carolyn graduated successful. Then, she applied to a prestigious Magical University, majoring in Astronomy.

After her time there, working towards a degree, she managed to score a job at Hogwarts. She honestly loves teaching and has a way with her students that her teachings just sink in and them scoring brilliant marks in any test. Her colleagues are no exception. Her charm had them hooked from the start.

Don't be fooled, however. Carolyn, although patient, can be quite terrifying when angered.
