Harvey just watched her as she stood there not saying anything.. and when she did.. he knew that was it.. they were over. After 1 whole amazing year as best friends and 1 mindlowing year as a couple and it was over.. and all cause of his one stupid mistake. He shook head "I.. I guess n..not" he didnt know what else to say.. he had practically begged her to stay and she wasnt buying it.. she wanted to leave.. leave his room.. his house.. and.. most of all.. leave them. He saw her look down at her feet and shake her head confirming his worst fears.. it was over.. her words? like knives to his heart.

He silently and in slow motion watched the necklace fall from her hands as she left his room and his house.. and them! He just stood there frozen not knowing what to do, he then picked up the necklace and sat on his bed just staring at his floor just.. staring.. blank minded.. replaying what had just happened in his head as if it were a bad dream that he had seen.. except it wasnt a bad dream.. it had actually happened.. theywereover! Harvey and Ella.. were over. The one girl he had actually loved was now gone leaving a big space in his heart and his life!

Hillary watched as a teary Ella made it down the steps and out of her front door, and wondered what could have happened! She went up there to tell him that she loved him, what did Harvey do to hurt the poor girl? Hillary went marching upstairs to her son's room to see him sat there in shock not moving. "Harvey? Harvey I just saw....." she started but was interrupted by Harvey

"She's gone mom! Ella has gone!" he said trying not to cry.. cause boys didnt cry! They didnt! "We have broken up.. well SHE has broken up with ME" he said trying to breath.. so that he didnt faint or scream or anything!

Hillary sat down next to Harvey and put her arm around him "Oh Harvey! I.. I am so sorry! But.. but what happened? She.. she was coming up here to tell you that she loved you!" she said trying to make sense of what had happened

He nodded "She did!.. we both did!" yup they had both confessed their love for each other but it was still not enough to fix what had happened, he then took a deep breath and explained to his mom what had happened while playing with the necklace in his hand

Hillary was shocked to hear what had happened and she couldnt believe that her son was now heartbroken and in pain and there was nothing that she could do to make him feel better. She gave her son a hug and just held him cause even after all these years he was still her baby

Harvey felt his mother hug him and hold him, it took everything within him to NOT cry and breakdown cause right now he was feeling that way. "Mom.. I.. I need to get out of here.. I.. I will be back soon. I.. I promise" he said trying to stay calm and not be really upset!

Hillary looked at Harvey as she said that he wanted to go out and she nodded understanding that he needed to be alone right now "Ok Harvey.. but be back for dinner." she said as she released her hold on him and let him go

He stood up and walked towards his door before his mother called to him

"Harvey.. you do know I am here if you want to talk.. I know you are hurting right now.. and maybe it could help if you might talk about it and lessen the burden on you" she said looking at him as he stood there listening to him

Harvey staring at the floor just nodded and without saying anything else rushed down the stairs and out the door and just ran.. he didnt know where he was going.. he just needed to run.. run.. and run.
