Harvey Watson is known for being the sweetest boy in his family. Everyone he meets always tell his mother what a sweet, loving and caring boy she has. Harvey loves his family more than anything, but now he has a new girlfriend whom he met in his first year at Hogwarts.


In this Scene
At the moment the only family members at home are Edmond who is Harvey's father, Hillary his mother and siblings Harley and Emily. They are waiting for their son and brother to come home for the summer holidays from his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Mom and Dad were informed by Harvey that if they gave their permission Harvey's housemate Annabeth would come to live with them, they gave their permission. Not long after they found out that some more of his friends were coming over to stay for the summer. They were Trinity and her sister Taylor, they reluctantly said yes to these girls staying over.

Edmoond had just arrived home from work. He walked into his closet and changed into some muggle clothes; Khakis and a blue with yellow striped polo shirt and awited his wifes return from the market. He sat on his favourite chair and opened the latest edition of the daily profit.

Harley entered the room bouncing his basketball and humming his favourite latest tune, when he noticed his dad reading a magical newspaper "Oh Dad!! do you have to read that thing? Ever since Harvey went to THAT school, you read THAT paper!" he said fustratedly pointing at the Daily Prophet.

" Well, I like to keep up on things on in the wizarding world. " he explained to his son. " So, what would you like to do? " Edmond said as he put his paper down and looked up at Harley.

Harley was taken aback at his dad's response. "I dunno, anything but having to read THAT paper." he said pointing at the paper again "It feels weird you reading that paper." he said to his father "You want to do something specific dad?" he asked smiling

" I'm sorry it bother's you , Harley. I didn't realize it did. Well, we could play a game or something. What would you like to do, son? " Edmond said as he grabbed at Harley playfully.

Harley smiled "Its ok dad, you can read the paper. I dont mind. How about we play some hoops in the garden, I was going that way anyways." he grinned as his father grabbed him playfully

" Alright , Boy. We'll see what you've got. " taunted Edmond as he mussed up his son's hair and ran past him nearly knocking the poor boy down along the way.

"Dad!!" Harley said fustratedly as his father messed up his hair and taunted him. He was almost knocked down and ran out to catch up to his father, he was determined to beat him today.

Harley flew past Edmond " Holy crap! When did you get so fast ? " he called after his son as they raced to the garden.

Harley laughed "I have always been fast, you just got slower." Harley said laughing harder as he raced to the garden with his dad.

" Oh, Smart are we? " he chuckled as they reached the garden. " I'm more than twice your age, Boy. "

Edmond rested his hands on his knee and caught his breath. " get the ball will you , Harley? "

Harley laughed "Yes dad you are, Yeah I will get the ball. you just get your breath back." he chuckled as he went and got the ball. He came back with the ball still smiling "You ready? " he asked smiling

Edmond stood up and looked Harley straight in the eye, " Whenever you are. "
Game on.

"Right!" he said as he began to dribble the ball towards the basket. "You sure you up to this dad?" he asked jokingly

" Bring it on, Son! " Edmond said as he began to play defense and tried stealing the ball.

Harley dribbled towards his father who tried to steal the ball but missed as Harley conducted an evasive move and he popped the ball into the basket "YEAH!!!! What do you think of that dad?" he asked grinning

" Lucky shot, Harley." He laughed. " Now it's my turn. Come on give it here." Harley passed the ball to him and he took off dribbling as he ran towards the hoop. just as he got close to the post Edmond jumped turned around in mid-air and dunked the ball in the hoop. " Ha! What do you think of that? HAHA! "

Harley was shocked to see his father move like that, let alone score. "Welll.... I think that was a lucky shot too dad!" he said laughing hard as he took the ball off his father

Edmond chuckled loudly as he gave the ball to Harley, " Lucky huh? We'll see now then."

Harley took the ball off his father and dribbled towards the hoops. "Come on dad see if you can get this ball off me." he chuckled as he continued to dribble towards the hoop. But he wasnt planning on losing the ball.

" Alright, but you don't know hat you've gotten yourself into. " With that said Edmond waited for Harley to make a mistake. Yes! he took the ball and dribbled fast towards the opposite hoop. SWOOSH! He had just stolen the ball and dunked it . He turned and smiled, " I played at University, rememeber? "

Harley was startled at his ball being stolen from him, suddenly he heard the familiar swoosh! of the ball going into the basket. He turned around to see his father celebrating. "Oh man!! Yes I remember you played at University." Harley said reluctantly given the ball to his father "Here your go!" he said glumly

" Now now , Boy. It's alright. I wasn't always the best at basketball. It takes practice and lots of it.Here take the ball and start dribbling and I'll teach you how to defend the ball from someone who is trying to take it from you.

Harley perked up, his dad was going to teach him how play better "Ok!" he took the ball and started dribbling towards his father "Ok here I come dad" he said as he continued to advance towards his father
