Ravenswood Manor

Adrianna Charday’s life has been a rollercoaster, to say the least. When it all becomes too much, she slips away from her home in the middle of the night, as she has done many times before. Only this time, it’s for good. She goes to the beautiful wildlife preserve that a close family friend owns. Ravenswood. The ideal place to go if you need some alone time. But no one knows what’s really going through the raven-haired teenager’s depressed mind. She was slowly losing herself in self-pity, depression.
Her best friend since she was an infant, Cassandriana Brant, visits daily, but can never find the girl she once knew as her friend inside the shell of a person she finds everyday.
But if you do find old Adrianna, she will gladly welcome you into the humongous manor house that she now calls home. There are eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a large den with a fireplace and mantle, two kitchens, and a sunroom throughout the house. Two wolves, Dreamer and Stormbringer stay in the den by the fireplace during the winter, but during the warmer months, they are either running around the preserve, or lying by Adrianna. There is a very large library on the top floor, where Ad spends most of her time. A sign on the gates leading to the preserve says:
Ravenswood Wildlife Preserve
Take only photos and leave only footprints.
Please don’t feed the animals, and stay on the paths.
Garbage in, garbage out policy.
$200 fine for littering.
Open from dawn till dusk.

Tours there were very popular. But now, in the winter months, not even her fellow guides could break the icy barrier that wrapped itself around Adrianna’s heart. She didn’t punch anyone who called her “Addy” anymore.

She stopped strumming, the song finished. She looked up at Justin, smiling. "It's true. I am only me when I'm with you" she said softly.

Justin listened to Ad sing again. He shook his head, trying to shake away the annoyance of the horrible person trying to break free inside him. "Again, that was beautiful" he replied, not looking her in the eye, but he was still looking at her.

Justin smiled back at Ad. A fake smile. But Ad was used to the fake smile's by now. "Excuse me" he said and got up to walk to the bathroom.

He walked through the door and walked straight to the sink and threw water over his face. "Relax. Calm down. You'll be fine. You don't wanna hurt anyone" he told himself, stood leant over the sink looking in the mirror at his horrific yet handsome reflection.

Justin took a towel and dried the back of his neck. "I promise. I'm fine" he told her, smiling slightly. He put his hand on top of hers and smiled even more. Then she took out the figurine. He listened to what she said. "No way, Ad. It's yours. It was made for you" he said, refusing to take it. But then she practically begged him to. He took hold of the figurine and hugged Ad tightly. "Thank you" he whispered.

Justin half-smiled and looked at the figurine. "True love exists, you've just gotta search for it. And eventually, everyone will find their true love. And I've definitely found mind" he said.

Ad looked up and saw the dreaded half smile. She might as well get used to the blasted things. Then he spoke. Ad looked up at Justn in disbelief. "Me? No way. Justin cocked an eyebrow. No way. Ad was speechless? Awesome. "For the first time ever I've shocked you. I may be different but different in more than just a bad way. I've also got a little bit romantic thanks to my dad explaining how he got mum to fall for him" he replied, a playful smile on his face. He smiled again after Ad kissed him. "He also told me what made him do what he did. It doesn't explain why AnnaLeah and Willow did what they did but I understand my dad's reasons" he said.

Ad rolled her eyes. She got an idea, she turned around and called down to Cass and Bradin, "Justin's up here being a smart-mouthed meanie!" she turned back around and smiled hugely at the boy. "See, two can play at this game" she snickered. She sat on the railing as Justin responded. "Well of course. Why do you think I have so little friends? I act like someone I'm not. I'm good with just a few friends and then one or two really close friends" she said. She hated socializing with a bunch of people. She looked up when he spoke again. "Thank you. And yes I can when I saw you! Remember, Storm started barking like crazy, and I came down. You just see me 'cause I'm all Ninja-ness and stuffs" she giggled. She only spoke like this with Justin or Bradin. Cass would groan at her bad grammar. She thought about it for a while, then got up to hug Justin. "You're getting two hugs in one. One is for you, 'cause you're awesome like that, and the other is for Alex. Tell him that I love him like my own father"She said softly. "Or you can be greedy and keep both hugs" she said, shrugging.

Cass looked up, raising an eyebrow. She looked over at Bradin and mouthed, 'Smart-mouthed meanie?' before getting up and going upstairs to see Ad giving Justin a huge hug. "You two are weird. Just plain weird" she rolled her eyes and went back downstairs.

Bradin looked at Cass and shrugged. "I have no idea. It's Ad and Justin" he giggled at Cass.

Ad nodded. She didn't know what else. Except state the obvious, but that was Justin's job. She sighed. "I know that" she said simply. She smiled sweetly and nodded. They were definitaly not going there. She looked down and bit her lip. "Yeah it is,isn't it? she siad. She wrapped her arms aroumd Justin's neck and rested her foehead against his. "I love you, Justin. More than anything" she whispered sweetly to him, smiling in a way that she knew would just melt his heart. She'd done it before.

Cas snickered and sat down next to her cousin. [b]"Don't tell Justin this, but I prefer yu over him"[/] she said, smiling.

Justin shrugged. Now he was lost for words. Now he didn't know what to say. He smiled at Ad cutely. "I love you too" he replied.

Bradin listened to Cass. "Why? It's not like he's any different" he asked.
