In a continuation of Lupin Cottage Maxwell and Taylor return for Christmas break at Hogwarts and Jack's long lost mother comes looking for him only to find she's not quite welcome.

"Why didn't you ever come back to France? After you left..." He asked not wanting to ruin the mood but he'd been wondering this for a while. "What happened?" He asked tenderly, hoping she trust him with the information but not forcing her to talk about it.

Elizabeth tensed up at the question and she glanced away before making herself look into his eyes. "I barely come back because it seems like everytime I come back something dreadful happens..." She sighed and thought about all the bad things that happened in France, "There is a lot of bad memories and so I hate to go back despite how much I long to see my homeland again..." She sighed, "It is a bit confusing..."

Jack shook his head. "No....I think i understand." He looked in her eyes. "I never wanted to be in London, even though it's where i grew up i hate it. My mother left us in London, i lost my father in London, until i met you nothing good happened to me there...We just need to make some new memories.." He said sweetly and held her close.
