This is the official sequel to P&P. The majority of the 'old' characters know the storyline. I am afraid that no new characters are avaliable for this RP, so I am sorry but nobody new can join.
This wont be starting untill tommorow, but seeing as I had a title in my head, I sussed it would be best to open it now. Plus I would like everyone just to put up a brief character analysis and explain how their character/s have developed up to this point.
If anyone comes up with a better title, then tell me. I'd like everyone's thoughts on it, as i didn't really think about it much. | |

"Preceisely. What about yesterday?" Snape asked, draining his cup and leaning over to place it back on the table.
The clink of the porcelin on the marble table echoed in the stony silence of the room. Only after he had leaned back in the chair and the echo faded, did Snape continue. "What happened in the Hospital Wing yesterday was ill-timed and inappropriate at best," he said, turning to look at Marcella. "There is no excuse for what I saw when I first arrived back here. And I'm afraid my concern for your wellfare after what happened in the bathroom may have clouded my better judgement."

"Obviously I was not using my better judgement at all yesterday," Snape sneered. He took a deep breath to control his anger at her reprimand. How dare she scold him for kissing her. He had caught her with another man after just getting out of prison and she expected him to know what he was doing?
Of course she did. Snape had expected it of himself. Having Marcella scold him for it, however, was going too far. He would not stand for it. "In case you don't remember. I am not the only one who had a lapse in judgement yesterday," he hissed.

Frustrated, almost to the point of physical violence, Snape ran his hands through his hair, pulling at it, and let out a deep breath. The small amout of in his scalp due to pulling his hair helped to anchor him and prevented him from striking out at the cause of his frustration. Nevertheless, he found his feet carrying him over to the bed upon which Marcella was perched. Standing over her, he found he had nothing to say.

Before she had finished her last sentence, he had done it. If he had had himself under control he would have never given in, especially because she had told him to do it. But, his emotions had seized control once more and Snape felt the soft flesh of Marcella's cheek on his hand before he had a moment to think what it was he was doing. He looked down at his hand and then glared at Marcella, as if blaming her for what he had done.

Her mouth hanging open, she limply held her pale cool hand to her cheek, a burning sensation prickling at her skin. The difference in temperature, the cold of her hand, failed to extinguish the flames of anger and hurt that his violence had ignited.
"You hit...me." she mumbled, pathetically, it a dummy like fashion, almost as though she wasn't quite sure what had happened. Her face, her eyes moving, she looked up at him, before whipping her wand from inside her pocket and aiming it at him.
"Give me a reason, Severus!" she barked, tears clear in her voice as her words shook. She knew what he had been expecting, for her to retaliate, but instead, she pointed the wand to her own body.

Snape grabbed the wrist of the hand which held her wand and pulled it forcefully away from Marcella so that she lost her balance. He grabbed her other shoulder with his other hand to keep her from falling, forcing her to keep eye contact with him, and growled, "What do you think you're doing?"

He felt like hitting her again, but was able to restrain himself this time, by turning his back on her. Snape clenched his fists and shook with the effort not to scream. He was completely out of control and no matter what mental exercises he performed, no matter what he did physically, he could not get ahold of his emotions and force them back under the surface where they belonged and keep them there as he had done for years. Even when it seemed he had them submerged, the moment he stopped concentrating on keeping them there, they emerged and it became that much harder to reign them in again. "No, it is not alright for me to hit you," he said. "And neither is it alright for you to hurt yourself."

She wasn't going to allow him any time to recouperate, was she? Snape gathered up some of the cloth from his robes in each clenched fist; just a little something more to keep himself anchored. "I'm sorry for hitting you," he said, through gritted teeth. "But, I think it would be safest if you left now," he said, praying she'd leave, but knowing she'd just come back with something else to provoke him further.

"I am not trying to control you," Snape began to yell but, the words became slower and softer as spoke so that by the end of his sentence, he was barely audible. For the first time, he noticed a sort of panic in her eyes and the way in which she had yelled about wanting to do what she wanted made him think that perhaps Marcella wasn't just speaking to him.
