This is the official sequel to P&P. The majority of the 'old' characters know the storyline. I am afraid that no new characters are avaliable for this RP, so I am sorry but nobody new can join.

This wont be starting untill tommorow, but seeing as I had a title in my head, I sussed it would be best to open it now. Plus I would like everyone just to put up a brief character analysis and explain how their character/s have developed up to this point.

If anyone comes up with a better title, then tell me. I'd like everyone's thoughts on it, as i didn't really think about it much.

Snape rose from the bed and walked away a bit. He didn't know what else there was left to say. Walking over to the door and looked out into the corridor, trying to see if Poppy was coming back yet. "I wonder what's taking them so long," he thought out loud.

"Thanks for caring.." she mumbled under her breath, watching him rise. One minute he had been so compassionate, the next he had moved as far away from her as possible and seemed not to care anymore about her pain or her suffering.

Snape picked up on her thoughts and sighed. Did she even know how hard it was for a part of him not to take her in his arms as he once would have done? Did she even consider that he still suffered physical and emotional pain as well? Did she even realize that he had only just escaped from the grip of the dementors not several hours ago? "I do care about your pain and suffering. But, do you just expect me to forget what I saw?" he said from the doorway.

Not realising what she were saying, she replied, "No, no I dont. I dont expect you to ever forgive me." she looked down at her fingers and began playing with the fraying ends on the blanket. "I guess, I was just clinging onto something that wasn't ever there."

What was she talking about? Was she accusing him of never having loved her? Snape walked angrily back to the bed and glared down at Marcella. "What was never there?" he asked.

She stared him defiantly in the eyes, she refused to let him weaken her, this time. "Real love lasts forever."

"I wasn't looking for love. I knew archie loved me and that's why I used him. But never did I once, or ever have, loved him.

You dont understand and I cant expect you to." she sighed, running a hand along her forehead and leaning back on her pillow weakly. She felt suddenly cold and felt more and more energy drain from her body. Lying back down in the bed, she mumbled, "I cant argue, not now, I feel too weak."

Deciding that showing a bit more compassion would prove to her that he still loved her, Snape pulled her blanket up and sat beside her on the bed once more. Why he thought he needed her to know he still loved her when he was trying desperately not to, was beyond him. "No, I don't understand..." he said and put a hand to her forehead. "Madame Pomfrey should be back shortly."

Reaching her hand up to his, she tried to let the anger ebb away. She was so frustrated, beyond comprehension, that she couldn't coherrently explain to him exactly why she did what she did.

"If it's any conselation, I hated every minute of being with him. Knowing I didn't love him and that he thought I did and that he loved me. And knowing that one day, you'd probably find out and it'd kill you if you did. Knowing you'd never take me back if I did what I had to do, or what I thought I had to do. Having the knowledge, that in my heart, I still loved you and I missed you terribly. That I spent every night crying myself to sleep because I missed you so much and I was going through so much pain and no-one knew..." She stopped then, taking a hand to her mouth and cupping it as more tears slinked their way onto the back of her hand, the curse preventing her from going any further.

Snape couldn't bear it any longer. The pain in her voice, the tears streaming down her pale cheeks, his love for her, despite what he'd seen, pushed back his anger and triggered his compassion. Taking her in his arms, he hushed her and wondered if he'd ever be able to let her go again.

In a distraght state, she were shocked beyond expression, when he took her in his arms. Not muttering a word in argument, she slipped her arms around him, under his robe and held him tightly, leaning her face on the crook between his neck and shoulder. Sniffing, coughing, she ran an absent finger down the length of his arm and tried to calm her breathing as she did so. Although he did not smell the same as he once did, the warm feeling that aroused inside her whenever he held her, welcomed her back as did his arms. Holding on tightly, not wanting to let go, she were convinced she would not be able to remove herself from him, as she wiped at her eyes and looked up at him, thinking she surely looked a right mess, to him.

Snape pushed her hair back and then rested his forehead on hers, closing his eyes. Opening them again, he looked down in her eyes and wished he could take away the pain he saw there. But, remembering what some of that pain was from, he pulled away from her a little and sighed. This was what always happened. He'd be unwillingly drawn to her by some unknown force within himself and then, he's lose himself. Only to regret his actions later. He knew he should be angry and he shouldn't even be in this room yet still he stayed and he had not pulled away completely.

She watched carefully as he rested his head on hers and closed her eyews in response, breathing heavily, feeling plenty calm and rested now that she were in his temporary embrace. As he pulled away a little, she frowned and looked up at him, her eyebrows furrowed, her eyes narrowed. She caught onto his train of thought and raised a steady, unthreatening hand to the side of his face. Playing with a bit of his hair, around by the ear, she seemed to concentrate her sight on that instead of his face.

Her finger slipping, the grasp falling from the hair, she looked down briefly, before reaching up gently, without her hands and placing one soft, swift, sweet kiss on his palid cheek.

Snape closed his eyes as Marcella's lips brushed his cheek. When he opened them, she was staring up at him with an expression which melted him. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly before placing a hand behind her head kissing her as he would have when he first saw her today if circumstances had been different.

Her kiss was only meant to have been an apology, but it seemed to have had a very different affect on the man currently holding her. Within seconds of having removed her lips from his cheek, she felt his surprisingly warm hand slide behind her neck and pull their lips together in a rather desparate manner. Knowing he would most likely regret this, she ignored those feelings and took a hand to his shoulder, moving her lips adjacent to his, bringing them together. despite the romantic image she wanted in her mind, she couldn't shake the fact that his kiss lacked something that they had previously had.

Desparately trying to cling to what they used to have, she tightened her grip on his shoulder and scrummaged from under the blankets. Sitting on top of the covers, directly in front of him, she slid onto his lap slightly, as she took the hand that was preiously on his shoulder, to the side of his face and deepened the kiss. Taking his other hand, she placed it around her waist forcefully, wanting nothing more than to be held.

A cold breeze swept through the air making Archie shiver.
Wrapping his cloak tightly around him he went back inside the castle, closing the oak front doors behind him with a echoing thud.
He gathered Marcella and Snape would still be talking and it wouldn't be wise to go back. He decided to wander around the castle.
He trudged up the third floor corridor thinking about what would happen now Snape was back.

Snape was surprised and even a little confused when Marcella moved her lips from his. But, she soon made it clear that it wasn't just his kiss that she desired. As she slid closer to him and forced his arm about her waist as she deepened their kiss, Snape felt something kindle inside him. He wrapped his arms tighter around her, pulling her closer, so that she was now completely in his lap. He enveloped her and wanting nothing more than to surround her and protect her from whatever it was that was weighing so heavily upon her mind. Whatever it was, even in her distressed state when she was leaking her thoughts and emotions, she kept carefully hidden.

"I'm sorry..." she finally stuttered, pulling away from his lips, resting ehr head solely upon his shoulder. "I'm sorry....for what you saw earlier....I'm sorry for having done it...I'm sorry for lacking in faith and giving up on you....and I'm sorry for kissing you, when I shouldn't have. It was only rebuilding false hopes that you may still want me or need me, as much I need you..." she sighed, leaning her face on his shoulder bone heavily. "I miss you so much..." she whispered, the pain clear in her voice...."In more ways than you'll probably ever know."

"I know," he whispered, holding her head to his shoulder, even as she tried to bury herself in it. Snape rubbed his thumb in a soothing motion on her scalp and just held onto Marcella. He found himself suddenly wishing that Madame Pomfrey would take her time and knew, now that he did not wish for the matron's swift return, she was sure to come running through the door at any moment.

After having explained the situation to the headmaster, she found that he saw no real need to rush to her side. Greatly disturbed by this, she took Kristi by the collar and led the pair of them down to the hospital wing. Turning to the girl, she eyed her over and then said, "You had better stay out here. She is in no state for visitors."

Looking toward the headmaster, she bit her lips before opening the doors and nodded toward him for him to walk through the doors first. The way in which the two occupants of the room held one another, seemed to come as no shock to Dumbledore. It did, however, have a small impact on Poppy. "Professor Snape!" she gasped, gushing, raising a palm to her mouth.

Archie walked up a flight of stairs and walked along it. Half way down he noticed Kristi standing outside the hospital wing,he walked slowly up to her.
"Alright?" he asked her in a flat voice."Why're you waiting outside here" Archie asked.

Snape looked up at Poppy, but didn't bother moving away from Marcella. She had already seen them and the rumours were flying after their display at the hearing, anyway. "Yes, Madame Pomfrey?" he asked, protectively holding on to Marcella.

Kristi looked over at Archie as he approached. Resisting the urge to glare or sneer at him, she turned and looked at the door. "Madame Pomfrey told me to wait out here. Aparently, Marcella is in no state for visitors. Of course, that doesn't prevent Dumbledore or Snape from being in there," she replied, angrily.

Recovered from her embarassed state, she rushed over to the pair of them and peeled the girl from him. Laying her back down, she encouraged her to slide beneath the covers and placed the reluctant girl's head back on the pillow.

"She really does need her rest." she said, almost as if she were scolding the man. Folding the curtains around the bed, she nodded toward Dumbledore and asked, "Well, what should we do?"

I am afraid, you are DD once more Kris. Sowwie.

Dumbledore watched as Poppy pulled the reluctant Severus and Marcella from one another and put Marcella back to bed while shooing Severus off to the side. Dumbledore approached the bed and began his own examination of his god-daughter. Frowning, he looked at Marcella from over the top of his glasses and asked, "I need you to tell me what happened."
