This is the official sequel to P&P. The majority of the 'old' characters know the storyline. I am afraid that no new characters are avaliable for this RP, so I am sorry but nobody new can join.

This wont be starting untill tommorow, but seeing as I had a title in my head, I sussed it would be best to open it now. Plus I would like everyone just to put up a brief character analysis and explain how their character/s have developed up to this point.

If anyone comes up with a better title, then tell me. I'd like everyone's thoughts on it, as i didn't really think about it much.

He felt as if she were stalling but, knew that this was something she need to do and he needed to see. Snape wrapped his arms around Marcella and lightly kissed the top of her head. "You will feel better once you have," he said.

"How can you guarntee that?" she asked, knowing he couldn't and knowing he probably thought she were stalling. Breathing heavily she transpired another memory.

"No, I cannot guarantee it," he sighed, wishing she would just get on with it. He was anxious to to see the rest of what happened to her while he was away, even though he knew it would sting. Finally, she opened up once more and Snape closed his eyes as she revealed another memory.

She knew this were the second to last memory that she would need to show him, but as they grew on she knew they would become far more painful.

The memory opened to her sitting in a compartment on the train, alone, huddled in a corner, biting at her nails feriously, her eyes spinning around the room, as if scared Darrin would enter.

She jumped in fright as the door slid open and in enetered Kristi who stayed only briefly, leaving in a huff, the two friends having argued because Marce was in a bad mood and would not talk to Kristi.

The second time that the door slid open, it revealed Darrin. His composure was calm, he was gentle. He slid beside her and stroked his finger against her cheek, seemingly concerned about her and her erratic state.

But within minutes he had grossly grasped her thigh and broken the barrier that she had formed with her lips. The actual images became cloudly as her eyes began to water but it was clear what went on.

Shaking her head as Darrin bound a hand over her mouth, she ended the memory.

Snape's gentle hold became tighter and more forceful as Marcella's memories played out in his mind. As the memory ebbed, his eyes focused on the body of the perpetrator and he thought of a few more things he should have done before dispatching him. Of course, he did not necessarily need to be alive for Snape to perform the acts he had in mind but, it would have been so much more satisfying to see the pain in the man's face and hear it in his screams.

She felt his hold grow stronger as the last memory came. But with this, she closed her eyes - she did not need to re-live this again.

Marce had been expecting Archie and so, she answered the door to Snape's private quarters. It was immediately clear that Darrin was not only drunk, but feeling very violent. Almost instantly he took a swing at her, flinging her to the ground.

Gruffly he dragged her by the upper arm and strung her up, making googly faces at her, asking what was wrong, laughing in between his words. The strong scent of drink on his breath came back to her, as she heard her body once again being dropped to the ground.

Weak and helpless, he kicked her to the side, before dragging her by the wrists and stringing her up on the bed. Closing the bed drapes with his wand, making snide remarks about it having been the bed Snape had defouled her in, he forced her into staying with him all night.

The tears now beyond the point where she could hold them back, she broke free from his hold and turned to face the wall, her forehead level with it, her face cupped completely in her hands. In between her sobs, she choked, "So now do you see, now do you see why I had to do it?"

"No," he snarled. "I don't see why you had to do it. A man is abusing you and instead of going for help, you sleep with another man?"

Snape began to pace, kicking at Darrin's body whenever he past it. It didn't make any sense at all. What did those memories have to do with what she had done with Archie?

Spinning around, deciding to make him feel guilty rather than angry, she let go of her face and allowed her appearance to be absorbed by him. "You saw the first memory..." she snarled, darkly, "You saw what he did to me...that blasted curse of his..." Horrorstruck, she gaped disbeleivingly, "You dont really think I would've done all that, had he not forced me? You dont think I would've let him do that to me and not say anything - if I had the choice of opening my mouth?!"

Too angry and frustrated to fall for the guilt trip, Snape snarled, "If you would just come out and explain yourself plainly, I wouldn't be forced to come to these conclusions on my own."

He turned away from her and sighed deeply. He loved Marcella but, she was driving him insane. Why couldn't she just tell him what was wrong. If there was a curse preventing her from saying something when she wanted to speak and now it was lifted, why did she insist on making him sort through her ramblings and memories to figure out what happened? Why didn't she tell him what she wanted him to know?

Resting quietly on a chair in the corner, her hands in her lap, she stayed almost scarily still, as she asked, "Do you not balem me for being scared? What has happened, what I've told you and what I've yet to tell you will change both our lives forever. I'm not even sure you'll want to take all this on. You shouldn't have to, you shouldn't need to. I just hate the way that nothing between us is ever going to be the same after all this. I dont know if I can live here, or anywhere near you knowing what I've done to you, to Archie, to Kristi and how I've let down my God-Father."

"Our lives have already changed forever, whether you've told me or not. So, why don't you just tell me what is going on, or would you rather I live the rest of my life with the whisper of doubt in the back of my mind, that perhaps you did have a choice in what you did?" he asked, turning back to face Marcella, pleading with her to tell him with eyes.

"Would these eyes lie?" she said, meaning to point out the significance of these tears. "Do you really think I'd be sat in here, in this much pain, this much distress, if I had done what I'd done willingly. Do you really think I would've done something that could hurt you so badly if I hadn't had another way out? Because believe me, if there was any way I could've done this differently, I would have. Anything to prevent this mess from happening. If I could go back, I would've forced myself to keep the curse, not even attempt to reverse and just live in hope that you were coming back. It's my weak faith that allowed us to come to this. And it's my little faith in you and us that should make you realise that you dont deserve the burden of living with me. And I certainly dont deserve someone as selfless as you."

Snape snorted. "No, I don't think you would deliberately try and hurt me. However, not knowing the exact cirumstances, one cannot help but have a little doubt. As for your little faith; that is something we seem to reciprocate. Your lack of faith in me is no greater than my lack of faith in you. It has always been the stumbling block in our relationship."

Snape paused as he considered her last point. He was utterly baffled at how she could think he was selfless. He had never done anything selfless in his life, as far as he could tell. Everything he had ever done was tainted with some selfish want or need. Even his work for Dumbledore was in some small way, selfish. Just as his love for Marcella was selfish. But, how could he express that to her when he knew that she would only use it to start another argument and delay her telling him what he needed... No, wanted to know.

"Well, if you aren't going to tell me what was going on, I suppose it is time to tell the Headmaster what has happened," he said, turning away from Marcella, once more, and moving toward the doors of the Hospital Wing.

Arche was looking at her strangely, but Kristi didn't care. Something was esriously wrong behind those closed doors, but no matter what they tried, she knew the doors woulnd't budge. She sat down on the floor in front of them, hugging her knees to her chest. She should go and fetch Dumbledore but, what if the doors opened and her father needed help and she had gone, leavign no one to help him? After an hour of had passed since the doors had slammed shut, Kristi attempted to open her mind again and breathed a sigh of relief as she heard just a rumbling of anger. He was still alive and whatever had happened was probably over. So, she tried the doors again. THey still woulnd't budge so, she slid down the wall and closed her eyes as she sat on the floor, leaning her back against the wall adjacent to the Hospital WIng doors.

She listened with wandering eyes as he spoke and as he looked about to leave, she dashed forward and took him by the arm. "Coming in here, stopping him from taking me; that was selfless." Realising she had been standing rather close, her grip on his arm clingy, almost needy, she stood back slightly and desparately tried to make herself seem less needsome, her eyes flickering over to Darrin. "He cast a curse upon me, much like the imperio, he completely controlled me and I could tell no-one. He put an entrapment on my heart so that I could speak to no-one but the person who loved me and whom I felt that equally strong bond toward too. I thought...rather stupidly...that Archie's feelings for me would be enough. They were not..."

Snape hadn't noticed her closeness until she stepped away. Then, finally, it had come out. What he had been waiting to hear. Many emotions flashed through his mind: anger, sadness, jealousy, pain. He put an entrapment on my heart so that I could speak to no-one but the person who loved me and whom I felt that equally strong bond toward too. I thought...rather stupidly...that Archie's feelings for me would be enough. They were not... He thought upon her words, a look of deep concentration upon his face until his thoughts lingered on just one part: whom I felt that equally strong bond toward too. Snape was not so blind as to not notice Archie's love for Marcella despite her choice to be with himself. "I don't think it was Archie's feelings which weren't enough," he said, putting a hand on either of her shoulders, not sure if he should embrace her.

"Are you saying that it was my own that were not stong enough? That perhaps if I had tried harder it might've worked..." she mumbled thinking of cursing herself. "No matter now. You saving my life seems to have reversed the curse, ironically."

He had been trying to say something supportive but, apparently it had backfired. "What I meant was, perhaps it was the fact that you loved another which caused your attempt at breaking the curse to fail," he sighed. Would they never be able to understand one another? Or were they doomed to walk in circles, never quite catching the others meaning?

"We dont misunderstand each other as much as you think..." she whispered, stepping forward, placing her hands carefully on his.."Severus.." she whispered, almost so quiet that it were impossible to hear. "I was never fool enough to think I truly loved Archie; as sickenly sweet as it sounds, I always knew it was you. I was just fooling myself because I knew Kristi had told you about her suspicions with myself and Archie and I lost all hope of you ever returning back home and I supposed that if you did, you wouldn't want me back."

He held her hands in his own as gazed into her eyes. "I wish I didn't want you back; it would be better for all of us if I stayed as far away from you as possible. But, I did want you back," Snape whispered back.

"Do you honestly think I could've survived without you, whilst my father was continually trying to break me down? That summer, when you first took guard of me, the only reason my father didn't get his hands on me was because of you. If you were not here, if you had not come back, Darrin could've taken me this very night. Forget what's right, forget what you should or should not do. Just, feel."

Snape took a deep breath and sighed, gazing just over the top of Marcella's head. He'd spent his entire life honing his skill at keeping his emotions at bay. It seemed there were only two instances when he'd let his feelings get the better of him and he found it difficult to not fight against them. He had been taught early on to hide and ignore his emotions. Feelings only made weak and easy to manipulate. But. he wanted to let go, to just feel as Marcella had less than eloquently put it. He looked back to Marcella's eyes and sighed once more before placing a hand behind her neck, drawing her in close, as if to kiss her. "And what is it that you would like me to feel?" he whispered with his eyes still locked with her eyes, his forehead resting upon her forehead, his lips nearly brushing her lips as he spoke.

"Nothing fake, nothing hidden, nothing forced away, just feel whatever you feel." she spoke softly, the words sounded like a beg but there was no plead in her voice.

Snape shut his eyes and closed the short distance between them, pressing his lips against Marcella's in a gentle kiss. He pulled away, a little and ran his fingertips down her face. The look in his intense gaze was one of intense desire, almost hungry. When he had been locked up in Azkaban, his only pleasant dreams had been of Marcella which had only caused him more pain in the end, as his desire for her had become almost unbearable at times.

She was shocked, although pleasantly by the abrupt kiss but was almost grateful when he pulled away, breathing the words, "What does that mean? Answer my question."
