Reese looked down at the ground when Lima mentioned she didn't know where they were. Great. JUST GREAT. Where were those two? She looked back at Lima and said, "I'm not anxious. I'm just worried something might have happened." She was going to freak out in a minute if those two didn't show. She really was. She scratched her head and walked over to the sink and fixed herself a glass of water.

That's when she heard what Lima said next.

"CAM," she squealed. She quickly turned around and when she saw that lemur outfit, she wanted to jump up and down. She placed her glass of water on the table and dashed over to Cam and tackled him in a hug. "It's so good to see you," she told him. "I thought something might have happened that was making you run late."

She was just about to say hi to Piper, when her phone beeped. Reaching into her purse, she saw that it was a text from Whit saying that something personal had come up and she couldn't make it.

She sighed. Lima and the Lemurs wasn't the same without ALL of it's members.

"Reese! Whit can't make it! Something came up." She shook her head and headed out of the kitchen and back into the living room. She knew that she had to set up soon, but she needed some time to deal with her best friend not coming.

That's when she saw that her other cousins had grouped around Sam and Milo. They were there already? She was amazed that they never told her. Or that she never saw them.

"Hey, guys!" she said going over to them and giving them each a hug. "Sorry, I didn't see you two before. I was so busy looking out for River." She blushed slightly but knew that they were aware of how watchful a mother she was. "Glad you guys could make it. How are you two doing?"

Karma now turned her attention to Piper, who was actually speaking to her. She noticed she was still with Wes, which was good to see considering Wes' track record with girls and dating, though there was no emotion on her face other than a slight smile.

That meant she could have someone to herself today. Hehe.

"I've been well," she said. "Working in the Ministry, went to Germany for three years, first for training and procedures for certain areas, then working there; now I'm back here in Level Nine and also came back from vacation in time for this concert."

Yeahh, she was pretty tan now. Which was weird, because she was always so pale. Stupid Veela blood.

Karma nodded, impressed with how well Wes was doing. When he said 'Wizengamot', she shot a look at Kris and grinned. Since that was his old job and all, it was pretty funny to hear about the other stories that came from there.

"Really? You probably took my brother's postion," she said about the wizard court. "And a vacation house in France, very awesome."

He held up Piper's hand, and the ring almost blinded her. Okay not really, but you could tell Wes was doing well based on the size of that rock.

"Congratulations," she said, smiling. She meant it.


"You can keep the place in the Wizengamot," Kris said, standing up. "I'm Kristofer, or Kris, whatever you prefer. Karma's brother."

He held out his hand for Wes to shake, noting that he was a few inches taller than him, which gave him the advantage. Plus, Kris had been working out too. Power to him, but not that he would need the muscle anytime soon.

There was... a small person... in Jake's arms. Well... he knew that had to happen, really. Kinda went with the whole "babysitting" deal. "C'mon, sport," he sighed, hoisting the lad onto his hip and shoving the hat on his head. "I mean, Supermaaaaan," he smiled, heading out of the kitchen door and towards the beach.

The second that horrible saaaaaand hit the underside of Jake's shoes, the boy became uncomfortable with it. He had aaaaalways HATED sand. With a PASSION! It was just... ew. But this time, Jake had that familiar feeling in his head. Discomfort... he was going... to freak out... or black out.

"Stand here a sec, River," Jake muttered seriously, standing River on the beach with a loose grip of the kid's hand. His other hand started to cover his own eyes, but... he spaced out.

This had happened alot, recently. It seemed to be a side effect of taking calming draughts day and night every day for 6 and a half years. Nobody else knew of them. Nobody.

And Jake stared off into space, oblivious of anything else.

Jake gets to be a hero lol

Camah? Huuuhh?

That was a girl name and he hadn't enjoooyed people calling him girly names. He decided to do nothing because today was a good day, hopefully filled with funnn and enjoyment! "Chillin' huuuh?" Well he was chillin' tooo--or not if you would put it in literal terms. He was obviously sweating because of the lemur outfit and wearing these gigantic costumes was enough. He took a deep breath to get some fresh air again and looked at Shana again to answer his question. "Dooin' good for me aaanddd..." Did he have a girlfriend?

The heat had probably vaporized his mind so... "I ain't tellin' ya!" She kept winking at him but he just thought she was twitching and all. Hehehehee.

Cam turned his attention back to Lima and grinned. "LeeemaWoman!" He chuckled and waved at her agaiinnn. "Excited for the concert?" Well HE was, laik a lot! Crowd diving. YUP YUP YUPPP. People would catch him and--PEOPLE WOULD CATCH HIM, RIGHT?!

He looked back to Karma and laughed. Hugged. Bleh he'd gone over the stage of being hugged by girls and he hadn't really cared anymore. But still. Her. And. Cooties. Did she have cooties? DID SHE?! DID SHE? Hmm questions that were questionedddd. "WELL OF COURSE I SMELLL," he took a whiff of himself and eewwwww, "I smell of pure awesomeness." Yeah yeah you could call it that. Of course he wasn't going to say as to why he smelled now. She probably already knew.

Hearing a rather familiar voice, he looked at the direction of Reese. Reeessee. "Heyyy Crazy Woman," he jokingly said, "What's uppppp?" And of courseee I'm late! IT'S THE SUIT I TELL YA. I blame the suitt! He could have sworn he'd seen Jake... but he left. Hmm. Later, maybe.

River stayed perfectly still, or tried to, when his mummy was applying the sunblock on him. He once went outside without sunblock on and his mother didn't really like what happened. Now, sunblock was ALWAYS a priority when going out in the sun for quite a while. And weee he was going to play with Jake! He smiled and clapped his hands even more. "Mummy, don't fohget Supahman latah!"

Ooooh his gift. He turned back to Kaitlynnh and Supergirl and waved. "Mmhm!" he squeaked out while nodding his head towards Kaitlynnh. He really was a Superman and he was quite happy being one. He grinned at Supergirl and wanted to jump down and play super hero games with her. But not now. Because he was going outside with Jake. "And I see you wait'ah Supahgirl!"


River was held by Jake and started to feel his hat by putting his hand above his head. YAY! Now everyone would know he was Superman. He stared at the Superman emblem on Jake's shirt and was just... mesmerized by it. Until he was called "sport". He was about to correct him until he correct himself and clapped his hands in happiness.

"Buhbaaiiiii everyone!"

He said it aloud for everyone to hear when they were leaving the kitchen. Outside there was some fresh air and it was a perfect day to flyyy! River wanted to fly again no matter what. Yes... fly. That was his dream. Not to just sit on someone's shoulders... fly... really fly. His eyes shined at the thought of it and Jake had let go of him.

He hadn't even fought the temptation.

River got his chance on being free and he ran straight towards the pier-looking thingy and ran as fast as he could. All he thought about was flying. Flying. Flying. Nothing else but flying. And he was going to fly above the water which made him even run even faster. So close to water now. So close. And before he jumped, he said aloud...

"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

And River jumped.

Emiliano was just about to respond to Lima and Karma's questions, just when this phone call came. It was a loud beep coming from his pocket and it bothered him, mostly when he was on his break! OMG...could they just leave him one minute. "I'll be back in a minute..." He announced and stepped outside, attending the call in Spanish. Nice time to get called, since the sellings were going up now during summertime and some dresses were already coming in the way to Europe. Whee...he guessed it was not so bad that his chat with his friends was interrupted.

Just when he came back, he noticed who had arrived while he took that phonecall. Cam Karsten, that hyper kid that almost tackled him to get one of the toy balls Emiliano used to play with, distress himself with during school. He grinned. "Karsten?" He called up to him and gave him a pat on the shoulder.

And then his head turned to the happy couple, now engaged as he could see by the ring on Piper's hand. He smiled wide to them, knowing that he had forgotten about that deal, the lie that brought his heart to not like anyone for the rest of his time in Hogwarts, that little rest of his heart that seemed to work well on his grades, though. "Hello, Piper...Wesley..." He got a little tense, yes. But time heals almost everything...

Diana was just around, taking care of this little issue made all of the sudden about her wedding with Jonathan. Oh, of course she missed him. She wished him to be there with her. Just a reason to not have come, but Emiliano had to insist. Gah...brothers...So, it was close to being solved but she was going to take care of it just when she went back home.

And she went back to see her brother Emiliano, facing the ex-girlfriend and the guy who just broke his heart. She so knew the situation, but she was going to hold her comments. She took Em's arm and smiled at the couple in front. "Good day, I'm Diana, Em's sister...and how you might be?" She asked them, though not letting go of Emiliano's arm in order to keep him calm and be able to take him away anytime soon with a random excuse. "Oh, by the way, Emiliano...Mami wanted to talk to you..." That was the random excuse, lame but great to just get him calm, at least for a while.

He noticed Kris was around Karma as well. Team, maybe they were now...

Jake.

Was.

In.

Deep.

... Sand.

Suddenly shaking himself out of the little stupour he was in, Jake could no longer feel a little hand inside his own... and that could only mean...

River.

Had.

Gone.

AWOL.

"RIVEERRRRRRR!" Jake yelled, watching in total horror as the kiddie JUMPED OFF THE DARNED PIER! He was sooooo dead. Not just River... but JAKE. He didn't even think, just set off at a sprint after the kid, mentally kicking himself for the blackout, even if it couldn't be helped.

River had been in there for only seconds so far... but seconds... was longer than nothing, and Jake dived in after the boy, swimming straight at him, before grabbing him and holding the kid so his head was above the water, even if that meant Jake occasionally went under.

"River..." Jake spluttered, submerging every now and then. "Are you... okay?"

Sam sat in her seat, a smile slipping onto her lips. It's been awhile since she has a good time. It's been tough, but she wasn't going to dwell on that tonight. She was growing excited knowing she was going to see some of her cousins tonight. She hasn't seen any of them in a while. Plus none of them have really been introduced to Milo.

Glancing at him now, she could tell he was nervous, even if he had a small smile on his face. He wanted to make a good impression on them she knew. She had just decided on getting up to find people, when somebody found her first. "Katie? Wow you have grown." Sam said, standing up and pulling the girl into a hug. "How've you been? Is Vannah here too yet?" she asked, excited to see her.

Milo looked around the room curiously, letting his mind wander. Of course he knew nobody in the room, but he couldn't help but notice how light the atmosphere it was. It was nice. He then noticed a younger looking woman with incredibly curly brown hair walk toward them. Samantha had yet to notice her, and Milo began to wonder if this was one of her cousins. It couldn't be Lima, for this girl had darker hair, and she seemed too young to be Savannah. This had to be one of her many other cousins.

Sure enough, Samantha stood up and gave the girl a hug. Catching her name Milo held in a chuckle. So this was the girl who had one heck of a temper, from what Samantha has told him. Standing up also, Milo gave the girl a warm smile and said, "Hello. My name is Milo. It's nice to finally meet you Kaitlynnh." he said politely.

Sam hit her head with the palm of her forehead. "Right. Sorry Milo. This is my cousin. Savannah's younger sister." she said. But it looked like he had already figured out who it was, because he said her name. "You sound so formal." she teased him as a new person joined their group.

And there was the blond she was looking for! "Lima Bean!" she chuckled, giving her other cousin a big hug. Sam then watched as she hugged Milo. Catching the look on Milo's face, Sam couldn't help but laugh. She should have warned him Lima was a hugging person, even if she didn't know you. "Lima Bean. This is my husband Milo." she introduced him.

Waving her hand, and shaking her head, Sam said, "Don't worry about it Lim. I know how it is to be a worry wart of a mother now." she chuckled. Saying the words aloud, she began to wonder how Aleksander was doing. Hopefully Benny and Mona weren't having too much trouble with him. "Things have been great. Just getting used to mother hood. What about you?"

Milo rolled his eyes at his wife at her words of him being too formal. "I was being polite." he said with a light chuckle. He barely had time to catch what she said next, before he was being engulfed into a hug, with somebody he did not know. Well this isn't awkward at all. Glancing at Samantha, he figured it had to be somebody she knew because she had a gleam in her eyes.

When the woman released him, he saw she had magnificently blond hair. This had to be her other cousin. Regaining his composure, Milo nodded, as Samantha introduced him. "Pleasure to meet you Whiggalima." he said, hoping he wasn't butchering her name. What a odd name to be given. Then again, English names were still a bit foreign to him, being brought up Greek.

She smiled at Milo even though he looked a little put off by her. Seemed he didn't know about her really. But that was okay. And he got her name right. "That's it. But you can just call me Lima. Everyone does other than Vannah and my husband." She smiled at him.

She then turned to Sam, relieved. It was good that Sam understood. "It's been good too. I've been busy what with River and my music and everything. But I'm excited to get this started!" She laughed. "So how is it going with your little one?"

The first thing River thought about was if he was already flying. But apparently not. His body went straight to the water and he'd tasted salt water the very first second he'd come contact with the water. "Guahuhu!" He tried going back to the surface of the water by flapping his arms on the water and it barely worked. He didn't know what to do. He didn't even think about anything. River was old enough to know about the concept of death, yes, but he'd never really known how someone died.

This was a bad nightmare.

"JAKEEEUHHHKUUHH!" he shouted loud enough for him to hear. In a second, he was saveddd and they went back to shore. River coughed a lot, trying to get the salt water out. His throat started to hurt and he was trying his best not to cry. His mummy said he was going to see Superman because he was a good boy and good boys shouldn't cry.

And he tried fighting the temptation...

When asked if he was okay, River started crying more than ever, while still coughing out some salt water. "Mummmmyyyy," he said softly and then cried again some more.

Karma sadly watched Emiliano leave for a few moments as she talked with Wes and Piper. Unfortunately, it wasn't that interesting anymore. She still had that factor that if it wasn't something involving her, she didn't reeeeally care. She had been nodding her head at random moments to act as if she was listening, while keeping a perfect face of trying to show interest. Hard skill, but once accomplished, it was goooood.

When Emiliano reentered the room, she noticed him tense up a bit at the sight of Wes and Piper. It was hard to get over broken hearts and people - and Karma knew, considering she still hadn't gotten over someone yet. It just wasn't going to happen.

She shot a look at Kris, who wasn't too far away.

Kris caught Karma's look, and walked himself back over to where the whole group was now standing. He nodded slightly at Karma, as he walked up behind Diana and Emiliano. He still towered above both.

"Trust me on this," he whispered into Diana's ear.

Placing both of his hands on each of Diana and Emiliano's shoulders, a slight shock could be felt going through both before there was immediate reaction and calming of both parties. There was no need to get anything heated up right now. Then, he would have to use his muscles.

Wait. He would have to use his musles. Maybe he -- Karma would kill him.

"I'm sure it's been fun chatting," Kris said, sending a dazzling smile to Piper and a friendly one to Wes. "But unfortunately, Karma, Diana, Emiliano and I have something to work out right now, and I have to steal them from you. I'm sure later you all can catch up." And not kill each other in the process.

"Oh, dude," Jake groaned, staggering over to the very start of the pier, sitting River on the edge of it. It wasn't very high here, in fact, the kid's shoes were scraping the sand. Jake knelt before him. "You poor thing," he mumbled, taking his wand out of his pocket and casting the Aguamenti thingy. Quickly testing the water was pure, Jake held it out so River had access to the stream. "Have a drink, mate... that's a nasty taste."

GUH! Jake would have to check the kid's lungs and everything. Good job he'd taken a fairly academic route in life and considered Healer training. Not that he was fully qualified... but close enough.

Rubbing the kid's back, Jake blinked salt water out of his own eyes. What was the betting that he would get the blame here?

Both Emiliano and Diana felt that little shock on their backs when Kris reached their shoulders. They both looked at each other, kind of relieved at the situation. Emiliano, as not Diana, knew about that little power the Atkins had over, that hypnotizing way to just get people to do whatever they wanted, in time this was.

Diana nodded, then felt that touch of Kris that just made her think about calling her mother again. Ehem...what was that? She cleared her throat and smiled back at Wesley and Piper. "Yeah, Atkins...did I get to tell you who the lucky man is, because I really..." And the conversation just continued as she walked away, hoping that sooner or later, Emiliano would just step out of there as well.

Em suddenly also felt that need of doing something, like totally scream somewhere close. As he saw his sister just step out, he did as well and took Karma's hand. "I think, I have a gift for you waiting inside Diana's backpack..." He whispered and smiled. "Have a great day, you both...and I'll see you around..." Not really, but...it was an act of courtesy to say that. And as from then on, Em and Karma walked away, off the crowd and right towards the gift section.

Kris smiled slightly at the younger couple, and slid an arm around Diana's shoulders to lead her off. She began to talk about who the lucky man was, and as soon as they left the room he dropped his arm. He opened the back door for them to go outside, letting her go first of course.

"No, actually, you never told me who the lucky man was," he said. "I knew you had been dating someone a while ago, before I got overwhelmed with work in the Department of Mysteries. That, and because I was up there so much, I never got to venture out."

And when he had one of those rare chances, he would always find Addie, and that's how they met.

"So tell me - how long have you been dating, then engaged, and when's the date?"

Karma suddenly felt a hand slip into hers, and looked up at the nearest person who happened to be Emiliano. It felt like her heart skipped a beat, but before she could say anything to Pipsley, she was being taken away by Em.

"What on EARTH could you possibly have for me?" she said, being dragged to... well, wherever Em was going. Oh well, as long as she was with him. "So tell me, what exactly was that about before I had Kris intervene?"

He probably didn't want to talk about it, but she would at least get a little out of him. She knew it had to do with Piper and Wes, but still. Years ago... She shouldn't be the one reprimanding him right now, she still had unfinished business.

What?! Whit wasn't coming? Reese shook her head when Lima had told her the news. Lima and The Lemurs were nothing without Whit. But, I guess they show must go on. She watched as Lima left the room and then she noticed she was still hugging Cam. She let go of him and wiped a single tear out of her eye. She wanted Whit here and she wanted her NOW!

She smiled slightly when Cam called her Crazy Woman. First, Raisin. Now, Crazy Woman. She had gotten too many nicknames during her school year. "Blame the suit came. Just blame the suit," she told him. "I'm just glad your here. I thought something bad might have happened." She reached for her glass of water and took a sip. "Well, I'm going to head into the living room now," she added.

She walked into the living room with her water and headed over to the window. She watched Jake and River walk down to the beach. That's when she saw Rive run away from Jake and headed towards...

The pier?!

This cannot be good.

She watched Jake runa after him, but before she could watch Jake jump into the water, she closed the curtain. "The sun is making it too hot in here," she muttered. She needed a good reason to close the curtains, right? She walked around the room, closing all the curtains. Lima couldn't see River and Jake. No, she couldn't. After all the curtains were closed, she walked over to the coffee table ands at her glass of water down. "Lima, I just remembered I left my sunglasses down at the beach. You stay here with the guests and I'm going to go down and get them," she explained.

Before Lima could answer, Reese was out the front door and heading down the pathways. Lima was going to kill Jake is she found out about River. Well, Lima was going to have to find out, but right now she needed to help Jake with River. The poor little toddler was probably so scared right now. "JakeJakeJakeJakeJakeJake," she started to say right when her feet touched the sand. She ran across the beach, heading to the pier. She finally made it over to her brother and River and kneeled down beside them. She took in a few breaths before she talked. "Lima can't know about what just happened, okay? I mean, we're going to tell her. Just not right now," She told Jake. She looked at River, who was crying. "It's okay, River. It's okay," she added.

What were they going to do? She looked back at the house and hoped Lima didn't open the curtains back up. "Jake, they are stairs outside that lead to the second story. We can go up to one of the bedrooms and dry River off and calm him down a little bit before we talk to Lima. How does that sound?" She asked. She looked back at her brother, who she wanted to hug right now. He just saved a 2 year old from drowning. He was a hero!

Lima raised her brow as Reese frantically ran around there, closing the curtains. She didn't really get it since it was the morning. But whatever.

"Yeah, I'll stay in here," she said as she saw the girl run back out. What on earth is up with her? But then she shrugged it off as nerves. Reese was always frantic when it got close to showtime.

She turned her attention back to her family.

Cedric was walking around,as he saw some friends talking and arguing AGAIN.He walk towards Cam and Reese,smiling.He wonders if these two was still arguing because of the accident,or maybe incident in their herbology class years ago.He was very happy to see his friends again,there's no happy moment than what he feels right now.Its like a reunion to all of them.

"Hey Cam."Cedric said as he reached Cam and Reese.He look at Reese,still gorgeous,so stunning and beautiful.

River started shivering and he wondered why his mummy wasn't here for him. Did she not like him? Had he been a bad boy for crying? Was he still getting his gift? His mummy was ALWAYS there for him... except now. Right now he was scared and he kept crying some more to let it all out. "Mummy," he repeated softly and hoped that she would come outside and hug him and give him hot chocolate.

He'd forgotten the whole Superman thing now and just wanted his parents right now. Looking at Jake, he looked at him from his tears and opened his mouth, swallowing the water (it tasted goooodd). "Th-thank you," he said, hoping that would make him a good boy again.

Next he saw Reese.

"Reeesshh!" He looked up and saw the girl and wanted to be picked up by her now. But he'd get her all wet and that would be bad! So he left her alone and continued crying--but softer now, touching the wet sand beneath him.

"Where's my mummy?" he whimpered.

Cam had to laugh at Reese. "Yeahhhh I blame this suit for everything!" He chuckled and looked around if he saw anyone else he knew. Focusing his attention back to Reese, he smiled and said, "Well of couurse something bad happened. I got attacked by a rabid dog!" That would explain so much... "'kay, seeya!"

He looked at Cedric and wavedddd. "Heyyy. Whatupp Cedar?"

"There's a good lad," Jake praised River, scooping the little boy up into his arms and giving him a nice and comfy hug. He quickly conjured a towel, because even in this heat River would get a bit chilly, and wrapped it round the boy, forgetting about himself. Not another word was spoken from Jake as he hurried back to the beach house and up the outside stairs, except from his whispered words to the boy, assuring him he was a good, brave boy, and that his mummy would be there soon.

"Nothing to worry about, lad," he said, trying not to make a fuss. "We just gotta get you out of these wet clothes, is all... and don't worry, they'll dry," Jake went on to explain, going into his own room and depositing the soaking wet toddler onto his bed. From the discreet spell he had cast, Jake now knew there was no water in the lungs, BUT he was only just out of Hogwarts.

That spell was simple enough, though.

REESE WAS GONNA GET IT! Making River worry. Gah!

"What do you want to put on now?" Jake asked, using the towel to ruffle River's hair niiiice and dry, surprised he was keeping his own panic in order.

Later, though...

Cedric frowned,Cam still calls him Cedar.He grinned,and still looking at Reese waiting to meet his gaze,It was really good to see his friends again."Hey Campy,I'd missed you guys."He said then paused."Especially Reese"He whispered."How's goin,Campy?"

Everything was happening so fast. First, River said her name. Then, Jake already had River in his arms and was hurrying him back to the house. She shook her head and ran after her brother. She followed him up the outside stairs and followed him into his room. She stood by the door as Jake sat River on the bed and watched as her brother dried River's hair.

"So..." she trailed off. She walked over to Jake and River and sat down next to River on the bed. "Lima has clean clothes for River, but we could also just dry him off by magic instead of changing clothes," she explained.

Kaitlynnh snorted at Sam's observation on her growth, and hugged her back. She had grown quite a bit since she was a little girl, and still a good amount since the last time she had seen her button pusher cousin. But this was, and she was sure of it, the first time anyone had ever said that. "Can I get that in writing?" She asked sarcastically, explaining the predictable reason, "The boys still tease me about being the smallest in the group." Despite the fact she was one of the oldest, too. Somethings would never change, and that was one of them. Katie had grown up alot since her childhood; her figure which had taken quite a while to catch up to her in age, making her look like an eight or nine year old at eleven, was matured and rather slim. Petite at about 5"4' in height, her wild curls had even gotten a little longer and slightly less unruly. Only slightly, though. Somethings, she didn't want them to change.

"Skating has been great," Katie answered, picking the one topic she found to be happy. Figuring skating was the highlight of her life as far as she was concerned, apart from family. It had pretty much become her life outside of school, and even there she took the chances she had to ice skate on the frozen lake in the months of december and january; a hidden, magical room had also helped her multiple times throughout her years at Hogwarts, giving her a place she could skate in peace and quiet no matter what the season was outside. "oh yeah, she's here." Katie's dark orbs rolled up towards the ceiling, instantly recalling the fresh memory of that morning. "The kid is here, too."

Kaitlynnh then turned to Milo, having a short debate inside her head on how, or rather what, to say to that. Should she be herself, or behave. The new guy didn't know her, or so she didn't think. Younger sister of Savannah," Nod. One of them, anyway. "Better question: How have you been?" She asked, looking to Sam and then Milo for the answer.

Once River was taken outside and Lima went back down the hall, in the direction of the other voices, Savannah took a minute of the quietness in the room to set Hayley down on her own two feet. Not that she didn't plan to let her walk on her own, but this was the young woman that had been teased by her dearest friends about being motherly, earning her the nickname 'Mummy Vannah' in what? Fourth year, she thought. The reason of which had her hesitant to set Hayley down was understandable, she was worried about her accidentally being run into, unnoticed because of how small she was compared to most of the young adults in the house. Also, the house itself. Neither she nor the child were familiar with the place, and Vannah feared Hayley might try sneaking off to explore her surroundings. She felt much better with the idea of letting her go outside in the wide open space.

Kneeling on the ground with her bag in front of her, she found the item that had her searching and pulled it out, handing the pink and purple water bottle to her daughter. Vannah slung the strap over her shoulder and rose from the floor, grabbing Hayley under her arms to hoist her up again before weaving her way into the livingroom. Her smile grew, amused, catching the last part of Lima's introduction to Milo that involved her full name and the two people who actually called her by it. "Usually I only call you Whiggalima when you're up to something or already did something." She reminded her casually, approaching the small group. Katie had managed to find Sam, amazing! "What have I missed?"

Holding her juice cup with one hand, sort of craddling it in her arm, Hayley used her right hand to fidget with the purple flower on the side of her head that kept loose strands from falling into her face. As they walked into the living room where even more people where, her mother began to talk, bringing her focus back from taking the clip out of her hair. There was Whiggy and Auntie Kat again, and two others she hadn't seen earlier. The woman looked familar though, Hayley wasn't sure if she should know either Sam or Milo's names. Shying, she was quick to hide her face in Savannah's shoulder, but not before giggling.

“I can’t rightly say I understand why you put up with me, but I love you too.” He responded gently before accepting her kiss. He really didn’t understand why she’d stuck around for this long. She had to push him for everything. She’d all but dumped him before he’d gotten a clue and proposed finally. She could definitely do better. All Wes could do was listen to her when she started demanding proposals and try not to make her regret her choices too much.

“Not entirely sure who’s position I took, but I do have one. I never thought I’d find a job that I actually liked.” He confessed with a laugh. His gaze shifted to the male not far away from Karma. He could definitely see the resemblance between the two … not that Kris had quite the same pull as his sister did. But he could easily tell that they were siblings. Wes smiled in response and shook Kristopher’s hand.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you Kris. I’m Wesley Devereaux, call me Wes.” He introduced himself. Wes wasn’t entirely sure how he felt about Karma’s brother. Part of him was braced, ready for some kind of who’s the bigger man kind of battle, the rest was simply uncertain. He never was much good at meeting new people.

“Hey Sanchez. It’s nice to see you again.” Wes greeted Emiliano, and even managed to sound sincere about the statement. A lot had happened since last he’d talked to Emiliano, but he still thought the guy was a bit of a loser. After all, he’d dug his own hole. It was hard to properly respect someone that would use a girl like Piper that way. Still, a lot had happened. There was no reason not to be nice and make small talk.

“Hello Diana. I’m Wesley Devereaux.” He responded. Politely. Wow. Lots of people. All at once. Wes shifted, hoping his discomfort didn’t show on his face. He was about ready to step behind Piper and let her do the small talk. He didn’t like groups this large. They had long bothered him.

It was impossible to miss the look Karma shot her brother. Wes watched him only to see him come over a second later and quickly put an end to that conversation. Part of him was relieve to have the masses gone … the other part of him was deeply irritated. Really? Was the whole day going to be like that? Really?! What are we? Three? He thought as he watched Karma leave with her brother.

“Well that was … fun.” He muttered to Piper once they’d all vanished. “Was that enough mingling or do we have to stay?” His voice was low, intended only to be heard by Piper. Suddenly wanting to be anywhere else, Wes stepped up behind Piper, and settled his chin atop her head as his arms locked around her. “Lead the way, love.” He insisted warily.

She laughed at Vannah's comment and feigned ignorance. "Now Vannah, that's never been the case. I've always been good. Name one occasion when I wasn't." She smirked. "Well, other than that thing with Dominic Denton and Maddox..." she added with her lip twitching slightly. She still remembered the chaos of that incident.

She then turned her attention to Hayley. Aww, she was so cute! "That's such a pretty hair clip," she told her smiling. "And I bet you're eager to play with River!" She wondered if Hayley would be his Superwoman. That would be so cute!
